Best months :All year round, although in winter you have to be careful on the paths and not get too close to the edge of the viewpoints.
How to get there :Pottenstein can be reached from road no. 470; there is free parking at Hallenbad Juramar, and from here you can walk to the viewpoints, using google maps to pinpoint the direction.

Notes :A couple of kilometres away is Erlebnisfelsen Pottenstein, a fun bobsleigh track (toboggans on rails that descend the mountain at high speed). If you love the genre I recommend it!
