Subjects :The plain of Caronno Corbellaro offers for landscape photography cues including the impressive oak near the ancient cemetery dating from the late nineteenth century (now in a state of disrepair) and the S. Nazario church. From the plain of Caronno c. various paths that branch off in a pristine environment within the park lead up to, in the municipality of Gornate Olona, ??at the Madonnetta church, recently restored and from there in Castelseprio (Castrum) where are the ruins of the same name and the beautiful medieval church of Santa Maria Foris Portas protected by the FAI and peat where it is instead the Monastery also well protected by the FAI. Going down to Castiglione Olona you can instead visit the picturesque village with the collegiate church and the castle of Monteruzzo. Cues also naturalistic photographic sighting with the various inhabitants of the forest and some birds of prey such as the goshawk, kestrel, tawny owl and the owl. There are also ponds with frogs, dragonflies, water turtles and some reptiles.
Recommended equipment :At least one camera with wide angle for landscapes and a timer for taking fauna. Backpack and clothing according to the season.

How to get there :Highway Milano / Varese, exit at Gazzada and continue for Morazzone and then for Gornate Olona. Two recommended access to the RTO Park: upon entering the upper Gornate (hamlet of Castiglione O.) turn left towards the parish church and continue for Caronno Corbellaro. Leave your car in the small village and take the well-marked path to the plain of Caronno Corbellaro. Alternatively entered in Gornate Superiore you can turn left towards Gornate olona (less than one km) and, after the village take to the village of S. Monica and 'Madonnetta' church, leave the car in the square opposite the church and follow the trails, well marked and with good maintenance.
