If you are very adventurous, you can try to reach the base of the mountains, leaving the car in the small village of Ersfjord, and then continuing on foot along the coast. The hike is quite challenging, especially in winter, there is no path and some steps are slippery and dangerous, so the only advice to those who have experience and proper equipment.
