Subjects : several species of herons (heron, egret, cattle egret, little egret, night heron and others), several ducks, a knight of Italy and other waterfowl.

Recommended equipment : you usually need a focal length of at least 300mm in the best periods when the animals come close a few meters from the cabin, to photograph the birds are far more 400mm or more. Good tripod.

Best months : the best time is in the spring (March / April) in September / October, in the colder months there are few animals and in winter it is closed.

How to get there : from the exit of the A1 motorway Parma drive along the SS. 343 North towards Colorno. We arrived at San Polo di Torrile, turn left and follow the signs to the village of Torrile and then for LIPU Torrile.

Visits : all year except the winter months, the following days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hours 9:00-13:00 / 14:30-18:30 (you can stay inside during the lunch break); ticket 10 euro.
