Subjects : Wildlife from dragonflies, amphibians to hundred thousands of birds and mammals. Unspoiled landscape with variety of habitats, rich of historic places and good infrastructure. The site is Ramsar convention place since 1992 with 29,000ha. The Vent? cape ringing station has more than 100 years of experience in bird ringing, so it is a must visit place to see birds in hand during spring and autumn.

Recommended equipment : Boots, variety of photo equipment, binoculars and spotting scope, waterproof clothing and repellent.

Best months : Arpil till June and August till October...soon also winter.

How to get there : Flights to Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga International airports and renting a car is the fastest and easiest way to come here.

Visits : The visit is free of charge. In 2016 we are planning to rent hides so more information will be available soon.
