Rank : 7.0 (average on 1 votes)

If you know this place, give your vote:

Coordinates : 44.716972, 8.886476 (Open in Google Maps)

Subjects : You can photograph the Sanctuary and admire the view. You can admire the mountain ranges of the Alps, much of the Po Valley, the Scrivia valley and part of the Borbera valley.

Recommended equipment : You can photograph both with the camera and drones, since this area is not affected by the restrictions of D-Flight.La camera I recommend at night as you can photograph the stars and the artificially lit panorama. I recommend the drone during daylight hours or during sunrise or sunset

Best months : All year round even if in winter there is less air pollution, even if the gap is really minimal. From my experience I recommend daylight or dusk hours because photographing with a drone the sensor will struggle a lot

How to get there : Take the A7 motorway and exit at the Vignole Borbera tollbooth (I do not recommend the Serravalle Scrivia tollbooth because it is busy even if closer) Exit the tollbooth, immediately after there is a crossroads, at the intersection go straight ahead (you will find yourself on the SP143). Continue for 2km after an industry (the sutter) that you will find on the left, you will find a crossroads and you have to turn right (You can't go wrong because there is a sign indicating the sanctuary of Monte Spineto). You will now find yourself in Via Vecchia Vignole. Continue straight until you reach a 4-street intersection (you can recognize it because there is a tunnel on the left and it is the first intersection you will come across) Turn right (here too there is a sign indicating the sanctuary of Monte Spineto). You are now in Via Montespineto. Continue down the road until you reach the top. The road reaches gradients of 25% and is perfectly paved. I recommend that you park in the dirt square that you find near the intersection and go up on foot to take a walk, alternatively you can go up to the top by car.

Visits : The entrance is completely free, it can also be accessed at night via an open staircase. On Sundays, on the occasion of every Sunday mass, there is a bar of excellent management.

Notes : I do not recommend arriving on foot as the road is long and steep but there are very nice and easy hiking trails
