Subjects :All mammals South Africans who live in the transition zone between savannah and predesertici land, numerous species of birds, many interesting specimens during the night drive. Well this leopard.
Recommended equipment :Classic safari gear, preferably at least a good 500 for eagle nests and black leopards in the den.
Best months :The place is hot though dry, then board our summer (their winter) so that temperatures do not exceed 35 degrees. In December, touching 47 degrees ...
How to get there :The park is located right at the border between South Afria, Botswana and Zimbabwe, we proceed from Johannesburg north on Highway 1 to Musina (Messina), then take the R572 west for approximately 60 km.
Visits :The park is world heritage for the rock carvings and archaeological finds from the Iron Age, there is a small museum that tells the state of studies on the subject. It is part of the network of national parks in South Africa that is required for entry or the Wild Card you pay a fee (I think around 12 Rand per person)
Notes :The park is newly created (10 years) and is very spectacular for its scenery and rock to the observation point of union between the rivers that mark the border between Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Not very extensive, and still densely populated by animals including leopard, lion, rhino and many elephants. Council on night drive, which becomes mandatory with the park rangers. During our we spotted the spotted hyena, wild cat, leopard and likeable sprighare, a kind of minicanguri (I swear) distant relatives dele hares jumping instead of running, really funny.
