Subjects : The area of today's Royal Lazienki Gardens equals to 76ha. The garden is accompanied by 18th and 19th century palace edifices (the most important were designed by Domenico Merlini), garden pavilions, as well as 18th, 19th and 20th century sculptures. The Garden is full of many species of birds (various kinds of tits, ducks, peacocks, woodpeckers...)and very brave squirrels.

Recommended equipment : from wide angle to short telephoto for landscapes, street

Best months : All the year, but specially spring and summer.

Visits : The entrance to the park is free. The Royal Lazienki Gardens are open daily, from dawn untill dusk. During summer season, Museum's historical objects are opened on Monday from 11AM untill 4PM, from Tuesday to Sunday from 9AM untill 4PM. The Palace on the Isle is opened from 11 AM untill 6PM (Monday) and 9AM untill 6PM (Tuesday - Sunday). Admission to the buildings is paid. On Thursday admission is free of charge (individual sightseeing).
