Subjects : The last of the ancient capital of Sri Lanka. Certainly of great interest to a number of religious monuments such as the Sri Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Buddha Tooth) and the temples of the "Three temple loop" (Embekke, Lankatilaka and Galadeniya). Add to this the wonderful botanical garden and the fantastic lake in the middle of the ancient capital. You can also take pictures to the many craftsmen of the city.

Recommended equipment : A bit 'of everything. Wide, medium zoom and tele.

Best months : Any time of the year. In the summer, we celebrate a ceremony dedicated to the temple as a result the city is more crowded and it is difficult to book a hotel.

How to get there : By train or by car through the large number of roads that reach the city from all over the island. From Colombo just follow the Colombo-Kandy Highway.

Visits : The temples are open from morning to evening by paying a ticket from the variable cost. The botanical garden is open from 7:30 to 18.
