Subjects : The Joshua Tree National Park is famous for ist agave plants called Joshua Trees. They only exist in this limited area. The National Park is part of the Mojave Dessert. In Summer it is really Hot (about 45°C).You can photograph there stunning rock formations and beatiful agave plants. Due to its remote location ant the sparsely population it is also a perfect location for astro photagraphy. There is nearly no light pollution. The Joshua Trees give also a good forground for the nightsky

Recommended equipment : Wide angle lens, zoom lens, tripod, led lenser flashlight, plenty of water, remote release

Best months : Summer when the milky way is up in the sky. Winter when you plan to hike or climb

How to get there : You drive the Highway in diection of Palm Springs and head up to the village of Twentynine palms. There you can enter the national park.

Visits : There is a fee for entering the national park with you car. There are praking lots every few miles at the national park road. Don't leave the road unless you have a 4WD vehicle
