Coordinates : 21.702225, 39.135194 (Open in Google Maps)

Subjects : Art Biennale dedicated to the Islamic world. Prestigious architectural buildings that dialogue with the iconic roof of the Hajj Terminal. In addition to the architectural spaces (the beautiful water square in the center that allows unique shots) very interesting are also the works on display, coming from every corner of the Arab world. The place has become a gathering destination for the inhabitants of the city, especially in the evening, where the refreshments overlooking the central water square become rich in life.

Recommended equipment : Nothing special. A bright wide angle is recommended if you want to photograph the works inside. Watch out for the sand, part of the exhibition (and the works) are on more or less beaten ground, better to have a cleaning kit.

Best months : You can visit it all year round. Generally it rains rarely but with a lot of force. The best months are winter, from November to February, when the weather is mild. A disadvantage is the presence of mosquitoes in the evening. From May to September temperatures easily reach 45°. At sunset more than in the morning you get very appreciable colors.

How to get there : It is about 5-10min from the nearby terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport. From the city center, depending on traffic, it can take up to 40min. It can be reached by private vehicle or by booking a taxi/Uber/Careem (a kind of local Uber).

Visits : Admission fee. Times vary according to exhibitions and seasons. Typically stays open late into the night
