Subjects :Nature is undoubtedly the protagonist. The island is not fashion as the nearby Santorini, but the Mylopotas beach, under the Chora, frequented by children to the party. This is an advantage, because the rest of the island has beaches virtually deserted. Therefore recommended to those who love the sea and photograph it in all shades. Be noted that on one of the top of the island there is the "Tomb of Homer." It is not known whether this is true, but cmq is a destination to visit, especially at sunset, because from there you have a beautiful view on the island of Folegandros.
Recommended equipment :Taking pictures on the island of Ios does not require special equipment, but are however advisable focal enabling photographing landscapes.
Best months :I have found the deserted beaches at the end of July, so I think that, apart from the middle of August, you can enjoy the landscape in the rest of the summer.
How to get there :I reside in Puglia and do not know the possibilities from the rest of Italy. However, from Bari flight to Santorini and Ios ferry crossing of about an hour.
Visits :The entire island can be visited free of charge, including the grave of Homer.
