Subjects : Hverir is a geothermal area with numerous fumaroles, small craters of boiling mud, craters sulfur. The landscape looks really 'Martian' and rich colors; in about 20-30 minutes you can walk up (doing a bit of attention!) on Mt. Namafjall, that allows you to see the area from above.

How to get there : Hverir is located along the ring road, a few kilometers from Lake Myvatn. There is a large and convenient parking and then you can get around the area on foot.
