Subjects : The Woerlitz Park is part of the Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Woerlitz, which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in November 2000. The whole Garden Kingdom is situated in the midst of the Biosphere Reserve of the Middle Elbe River in the close vicinity of the city of Lutherstadt Wittenberg and the Bauhaus city Dessau.In every season photographers can find beautiful motives of landscape, nature, historic buildings, ...

Recommended equipment : Your DSLR with several lenses like wide angle, a zoom lense for the range of approximate 35mm to maximum 300 mm or several prime lenses. I would prefer to use a tripod. Take a lot of time with you and at least read the special information about different buildings and parts of the park on the website below.

Best months : - Winter: beautiful winter landscapes- Spring: a nice nature is growing up and shows their beauty- Summer: very interesting sunrises and also sunsets- Autumn: A indian summer invites you. All the leaves are coloured very impressive and you can see amazing mirroring in the water.

How to get there : The place is located in the eastern part of Germany called Saxony-Anhalt. It is very near to the autoroute A9 which connectes Munich with Berlin. The distance to Berlin is about 120 km in the direction Leipzig which is 80 km to Woerlitz.

Visits : You can enter the garden park for free. If you like there is a possibility to give a little donation for the support of the park.
