Coordinates : 58.599527, 11.287365 (Open in Google Maps)

Subjects : In addition to the typical but very picturesque village (the birthplace of the writer Camilla Lackberg, who sets many of her stories there), the shape of the territory offers the spectacular possibility, going up the small headlands between which the country develops, of admire a beautiful archipelago that is lost in sight, almost in 360 degrees! The most famous vantage point is called Kungsklyftan Fjallbacka, but there are other spots where you climb easily and, in general, the whole village is full of colorful views with the sea or rocks as a backdrop. The various ports offer wonderful opportunities to take back the village nestled between the rocky headlands. For those who appreciate, the country is also in a fairly dark area, just get out 10-20 minutes by car from the country and you find yourself lost in the middle of woods and agricultural fields, under a particularly dark sky, by European standards.

Recommended equipment : Grand angle for the view, but also telephoto for the details of the country or if you happen lucky to see a storm on the horizon with its dozens of lightning strikes per minute. Standard zoom for street and photos from the port. Obviously tripod very recommended, especially for sunsets and sunrises. Shoes suitable for walking on a trail (about ten minutes but all uphill on perpetually wet rocks, with handrails and protections but it is always better not to slip...).

Best months : Pretty always, it's in the south of Sweden so there's no problem of not having sunset or sunrise. I imagine it can be very nice even with snow, or at least with the winter light, but I do not know if the streets are open to climb to the panoramic points. Surely in the summer you are more willing to wait for sunset.

How to get there : A hundred km north of Gothenburg (whose ferries come from Denmark and the motorway from Malmo and planes from Italy), it is also just under 200 km south of Oslo.

Visits : The entrances to the vantage points are free, to visit the country you do not pay and it seems to me there are various parking even free.
