Subjects : The trabocchi, real stilts over the sea, once used for fishing and now preserved as cultural and environmental heritage, because of their seamless integration with the environment, from the Abruzzo region. The coast extends from the overflow of Marina di San Vito to San Salvo along the Adriatic highway (ss16) for about 45km

Recommended equipment : Lenses landscape: from 12 to 70 mm. In case you want to photograph seabirds or similar telephoto (300mm minimum) is recommended

Best months : Throughout the year. Summer, however, is to be avoided because of the early morning you will have the swimmers in the way :)

How to get there : By car just follow the Adriatic highway. By train it is more complicated since the old railway line that ran beside the road was closed.

Visits : The entrance is of course free. Attention must be paid to the fact that some overflows have only one way that is privately owned and therefore is how to enter the courtyard of a house not yours.
