Subjects :The main subject is certainly the Castello di Policoro (also known as Palazzo Baronale or Palazzo Berlinghieri), a historic residence dating back to the 8th century that was built by the Basilian monks who built it in monastery. In 1700 the structure was acquired by a princess of the Serra Gerace family who made it into a noble house. After restoration works carried out in recent years, the structure is used as a venue for weddings and events.
Recommended equipment :The necessary equipment is an easel and a bright wise angle indispensable to resume the darkest accommodations where it lacks artificial lighting.
Best months :The best time is in the morning so you have the sun behind when you want to photograph the entrance portal and the Castle Court. The summer time helps the photographer with the light coming from the windows. Autumn colors give incredible shots.
