Subjects : There is an entire colony of Otarie Cape bears with their cubs and many jackals wandering around the colony. This place is not for the weak of stomach: in fact there is a very strong and not really appreciable smell emanating from the seals. You can reach by car (4x4 recommended).

Recommended equipment : Reflex with any lens. From wide angle to any canvas.

Best months : August is a good time to find the seals (with puppies) in huge quantities

How to get there : As with all destinations in Namibia it is recommended to move with a 4x4 car due to dirt roads and rough terrain.

Visits : There is no entrance fee.
