Subjects : Many species of hummingbirds, Owls, Trogons, Tanagers, Wrens, Swallows, Antshrikes, Raptors, Flycacthers, Squirrels, Monkeys and many other species.This is one of the homes of the Resplendent Quetzal which migrate into the area towards the beginning of February.

Recommended equipment : DSLR, Binoculars, Telephoto lens, Batteries, Memory cards

Best months : Dry season in from mid November to April

How to get there : Fly to Panama City Panama from your home destination. Boquete is about a 45 minute flight from Panama City with Air Panama.

Visits : Trails are free and birding is available at a number of lodges or along roads

Notes : 6-7 microclimates with many individual species within each climate
