Many types of mammals. Flora including many Orchids and Heathers, Mushrooms and other Fungi. Modern sculptures.

Recommended equipment : Macro lens, 300mm to 600mm lens, Tripod

Best months : Most of the year here is some wildlife and scenic opportunities but mainly from May to October are the best months in the early time of day.

How to get there : The nearest big towns are Birr and Tullamore. There are directions and maps how to get there on the website http://www.loughbooraparklands.com/find-us

Visits : There are no fees. If you are with family they can hire bicycles during summer months while you are taking photographs.

Notes : Best time of day to visit is early morning. Carry mosquito repellant and Sun cream during summer months. Don\\\'t be afraid to get dirty or wet, this is a boggy area.
