Subjects :The Bassin des Aigrettes is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Reunion, surrounded by lush vegetation and clear, clean water; Even in the hottest hours of the day it offers a relaxing coolness.
Recommended equipment :Wide angle, standard zoom and tripod.
Best months :All year round.
How to get there :In theory, the path leading to the waterfall has been closed for over twenty years and access is prohibited, but it is widely frequented by local people and tourists. Leave your car near the Snack Bar Les Cormorans and continuing for about twenty meters you will find a broken net from which you can sneak on the path - at your own risk, until it is officially reopened.
Visits :Free visit, but officially the trail is closed (at the moment, July 2023).
Notes :Along the path there is an iron gate that the locals go around passing under it (in the water) or to the side (with the help of a rope).
