Rank : 10.0 (average on 3 votes)

If you know this place, give your vote:

Coordinates : 23.632834, 80.924271 (Open in Google Maps)

Subjects : Bengal Tigers, Indian Leopard (Panthera Pardus Fusca), Labused Bear, Gaur, Asian Jackal, Jungle Cat, Sambar, Pomellato Deer, Nilgai, Chinkara, and a Wide Choice of Birdlife, a Paradise for Aquiles, Peaks. A truly rich biodiversity, where nothing really is missing!

Recommended equipment : 400 mm telephoto lens up (the top would be a 400mm f / 2.8, multipable when needed) a fluid head monopod (very useful in typical park jeeps, suzuki jimmy) if you want, an all-round camera lens mounted on a My setup for these trips: 1 FullFrame (Canon 1DX) with a 500 f / 4 L IS 1 Aps-C (or Aps-H in my Canon 1DMkIV case) with a 70-200 f / 2.8 L IS 1 16-35 f / 4 L IS for landscape photographs in moments of waiting or just before sunset in case there is no movement of particular animals

Best months : March, April, May and early June

How to get there : From New Delhi, Inner Journey to Jabalpur, then you have to get 3 hours of car on roads not to do it yourself (personal advice, as they drive like crazy) and especially not at night!

Visits : The park opens for two safari sessions, in the morning and afternoon, and the timetable varies according to the time it takes, but follow the sunrise and sunset times for opening and closing the doors. Taking a Jeep is not easy and goes Done in time, otherwise you are likely to stay on foot because the number of Jeeps allowed in the park is limited and strictly controlled at the gate entrance (there are 4 and then a tot of Jeep per gate per day)

Notes : The park really deserves much, especially this year and the coming years will be the point of reference for those who wanted to best photograph the Bengal Tigers, as much has just had puppies and many more are waiting for you!
