Subjects :This cliff is famous for the fossilized dinosaur footprints it is dotted with, so it is very interesting to photograph these geological finds in a totally natural and evocative context such as the oceanic coastal environment. The photographic opportunities, however, do not stop there: being an environment subject to the tides, you can observe many forms of life linked to these peculiar conditions, which live in the so-called "tide pools". Going west there are also geological formations of very particular shapes, and a small promontory (called Peñón del Forno) that can be reached quite easily. There is also a cave oblique to the west (before the Peñón) that is worth visiting.
Recommended equipment :To be able to take the footprints I recommend a wide angle, so that you also have the direction of movement of the animal that created them. Even a standard is fine, I would not recommend focal lengths from medium-telephoto upwards because I find them useless for a weight like this.
Best months :Every season is fine, I was in the middle of summer and I don't recommend going in the hours when the sun is more vertical, first of all because it could be too hot, and secondly because dinosaur footprints can be seen well only when the sunlight is very oblique, so early in the morning or in the evening. Any time of the year is fine, but you need to pay attention to the tides and find out beforehand: to go west you have to walk through a slightly depression point, so if the tide is rising you risk getting stuck. In addition, many footprints are found in places that are covered by water at high tide.
How to get there :The path to go down cannot be done by car, and starts from here: 43.47291810295164, -5.100564511956381In a few minutes you arrive at a metal staircase (pay attention to the last 3 steps because they are unsafe) that leads to the beach. From there you can move freely.
