“ It is surprising that Fuji introduces the value angle as important for image quality, although its aps-c cameras have the smallest value angle on the market. Bizarre marketing, strange engineering strategy.

“ One of the best ways to get camera aficionados salivating is to take a familiar concept, give it a new name, apply a numerical value to it, and announce that it makes a critical difference to their photography.
It doesn't matter if there actually IS a visible difference or not, it still provides lots of ammunition for fun debates about why "My System Is Better Than Yours" — plus it is a great excuse to buy new things!
Meanwhile, if any of these things had half the effect that is implied... the sum total of all of them would make one camera remarkably better than the others.
Hint: It doesn't.
If you go into an exhibit of photographs prints by a group of talented photographers who use a variety of gear you will ben entirely unable to determine which prints were made with which brand of camera or which lens. In fact, in all but the grossest cases you won't even be able to differentiate whether they were made with miniMF, full frame, or APS-C.
Fujifilm makes excellent cameras and lenses. I own a bunch of them and rely on them. But other brands do, too. (I own and use some of the other brands as well.) „
