canon_rf200-800Canon RF 200-800mm f/6.3-9 IS USM

Pros: Portability, focal abstention, af speed, use of CT scans from as early as 200mm

Cons: Non-removable tripod ring

Opinion: An exceptional optics from every point of view!. Fast and accurate AF, light even at 200-800mm, easily usable handheld for stray hunting, full compatibility with TCs already at 200mm. The comparison is almost obligatory with the 100-500. I find the 100-500 (holy grail for many) an outclassed lens by this new all-rounder zoom. I have had the opportunity to compare the 100-500 and the 200-800 and I can say that (without heresies) the 200-800 is better in everything. Starting from the focal range, weight, size, ease and manageability of use to get to the final result: the files. Very detailed files, remarkable qi and a very fast, responsive and accurate af. In short, today if I had to choose between a 100-500 and a 200-800 I would have no doubts, the 200-800 is the right choice for stray hunting, it is a zoom that allows you to go from a close subject to a subject over 50 meters away in a very short time. Don't be fooled by the fact that it's not an L series, it's that at 800mm it's an f/9. The 100-500 with Tc 1.4x stops at 700mm and becomes f/9 While this gem still has 100mm of focal range available. It also performs admirably with the Tc 1.4x. I am very satisfied with the price/quality ratio.

canon_eos_r5Canon EOS R5

Pros: 45 mp, in-camera crop, weight, handling, button customization, shooting options

Cons: Weight, materials,

Opinion: For those like me looking for a "big megapixel" at home canon at the moment has two options, 5dsr (obsolete SLR and out of production) or this ML eos R5. Leaving aside the cost speech (which I think is due to the fact of the compact 8k video, which I do not use) this camera offers many options on the photographic side: Possibility of crop in the 17 mp room (and this led me to the decision to sell the R7 in favor of only R5 and R6 to be part of my kit) It offers the possibility to save files in hdr-pq, RAW, JPG, DPR, in short, a complete camera on the photo front. The shooting speed / burst is very good, you are still talking about a 45 mp ff. The resistance to high iso is good, it holds up well up to 12800 iso. The af takes a few minutes for the right configuration, but once set up nothing escapes, even face and eye recognition. The ibis as on R6 is a bit disappointing, I do not find all those advantages of recovery of the stops declared by canon. The files it returns, despite being 45 mp are fluid and well workable. The "old" 5dsr required very bright optics and possibly L-series, this ML defends itself very well even with cheap and bright RF optics. Video side : I do not practice video, I always remain of the idea that a camera remains a tool dedicated to the dorography, but I was curious to try the 8k. This video format is not compatible and playable on 3 of my 4 PCs, despite updates to the codecs of DPP and windows play but as I said, the video side is not of interest to me. Having to sum up and give an opinion on the R5 I can say that my opinion is very positive, not using the video sector I would still give a vote 8 out of 10, we must still keep a margin dedicated to the possibility of future improvement. Too bad that just picked up L has found light (perhaps too much), identical to the R6 (this is good on the positioning and customization side of the keys) it is still very handy, the materials and appearance leave you in a little perplexed if you think about its cost, but its value is all inside and its potential. The 5 series of the SLR was distinguished from the rest of the dsrl for size and materials, in this case the R5 is indistinguishable from the rest of the Canon ML. The cost? If compared to the 5dsr (which remains the only real comparison possible on the photo side, at canon) I find the R5 cheaper than the old SLR at the time of its launch for all that it offers in addition, video side, connectivity, touch and adjustable display, high iso resistance, burst, af zone and use of the new cf express. Great product that is worth all the money it costs.

patona_platinum_lpe6nhPatona Platinum LP-E6NH

Pros: Price.

Cons: Charge time,Charging time.

Opinion: I bought two batteries at the lower price of an original canon, about 60 euros for both on amazon. I was very disappointed. The duration of the charge is considerably shorter than the original canon, even using them in good weather conditions. The charging time is slower and longer. I was not satisfied at all.

canon_5ds_rCanon 5Ds R

Pros: Pro body, grip, big mp, file rendering

Cons: Gust, lack wi fi, lack touch, fixed display, Cost also used.

Opinion: Currently at canon the models with "big mp" are the ML R5 is the reflex 5ds / 5dsr (out of production). In 2015, the year of its launch on the market, this camera entirely oriented on the photo side cost more than 3k euros, today it is only used at about half price. To obtain high-impact photos it is necessary to use L-series lenses with very open apertures. Purchased for use mainly in the studio and therefore with direct connection and remote shooting via dedicated DPP software you realize that you can only choose between two focus settings, af central point area or af with face recognition, also the coverage of the frame is poor, it will be around 65% of the framing impossible to focus on the subject near the corners. Being a 50mp FF camera and using a digic 6 processor the shooting is very slow as well as the burst. The lack of technology such as wi-fi, adjustable screen and above all touch is felt, and also a lot, especially the lack of touch to move in the various menus. The files are very good although large (sometimes they are even around 80 kb) Workable and well manageable. The colors compared to other canon cameras I found them a bit cold. Always compared with other csnon (R, R5,R6,) However, I find that the lack of the AA filter is not very incisive. In conclusion I can say that this machine has disappointed me jn po in terms of multimedia By now we are used to touch without that helps a lot in the shooting phase is above all navigation in the various menus, as well as the lack of wi-fi and the possibility of remote shooting (flaw solvable with the use of the card will adapt wifi canon) to the detriment of the sd card. 50 mp files often create shake even with high isos and wide apertures. The cost of the used are around 1.5k, cost that I still consider high bike. Unfortunately today at home canon the choice of a camera with MP is only between this SLR (out of production with all the disadvantages of the lack of multimedia) And the ML R5 from the really high cost (I think its very much also due to the fact that it offers a video 8k) To conclude this 5DRS did not excite me very much and review I guess I did not shout wow!

canon_rf70-200_f2-8lCanon RF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM

Pros: Compact, weight, sharpness.

Cons: Compact... maybe too much

Opinion: A lens with a focal length that I have always hated and loved on SLRs. Sometimes short both on the 70mm side and on the opposite side of the 200mm. What about this excellent lens that has not yet been said or written. Coupled with R6 and R7 (so two bodys with stabilization on camera body) It has a fast, responsive and always efficient af, Hard to miss a shot. Colors and chromatic aberrations contained (it does not seem better than the EF version ...) Compared to the ef brother it has a higher price, (always L series we are talking about) But a weight and a much smaller footprint. Personally I preferred the EF f/2.8 models with variable zoom inside the barrel, which did not push, it is still a 70-200mm The hood is obscene and bulky, then the white color .... All in all it is a good optics, although on the photographic side I do not find big differences with the EF model. I believe that its purchase is recommended and justified to those who have an Rf kit and would like to add a medium canvas, I do not recommend it instead to those who still own the EF model, it would be a meaningless expense, if not for a speech of weight and size.

canon_mpe65macroCanon MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5x Macro

Pros: Magnification up to 5x

Cons: There is no focus on infinity, Magnification ring that does not zoom in but turns.

Opinion: More than an optics, I would call it a microscope. Solid and ruby construction. Very difficult use in focusing, There is no focus on infinity, you have to approach or move away to find the right focus, the ring only serves to increase the magnification multiplier. I use it exclusively with a tripod and a good millimeter slide, which helps in focusing. Very problematic and difficult in use. It is certainly not the optics I expected. Disappointed? Quite a lot, Purchased to match it with the 5drs and use it in still life. Surely it gives the best of itself in macro use with insects.

patona_premium_lp_e6Patona Premium LP-E6

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: Scarcity and reliability of the product.

Opinion: I review the Pattona LP-E6N purchased instead of the original canon which costs 110 euros. I found an offer of two Pattona at a cost of 75 euros. I use them on R6 and R7 dive need batteries forfifmanti. Attracted by the price I wanted to try them, well I was very but very disappointed. Charging time slightly higher than the Canon, time of use even the mere of the "old" LP-E6 In the end my opinion is very negative.

canon_eos_r7Canon EOS R7

Pros: Af, burst, dual sd slot, compact. Cost.

Cons: Light? Maybe too much. Viewfinder very but very protruding compared to the camera body. High iso seal.

Opinion: At the moment at Canon there are two ML apsc, the R10 or the R7. The R10 has many restrictions compared to the R7, (the most important / evident are the single slot, the absence of the ibis and the shutter speed) so ... trying an apsc ML (entry level) would not have made much sense. The cost of the R7 is far lower than what it offers. In my opinion its real cost equated to its potential would be around you have 2k, surely Canon has preferred a competitive policy and not too excessive. I can make a comparison with the R6, R and Rp. It is a light and compact apsc, very workable and well-defined files despite being a 30mp apsc. AF section more laborious in customization than the R6, but with an extra gear. It is not possible to exclude Ibis in the photo section, only in the video. (I can't make judgments in the video section because I don't.....) I'm testing it in the field used in birdlife with an Rf 800, an Rf 100-500 and a sigma c 150-600, the Af is fast, precise and responsive both with the sigma and with the Canon 100-500, as regards the RF 800 that becomes a 1280mm ... ( if you want to read my review on the optics in questine ..) its use appears very critical. I find the camera body light and compact, perhaps too much, but the handle is deep and very manageable. I do not find the materials absolutely poor or even less obscene, I consider them fair and homogeneous with the type of camera they cover. If we make a comparison based on performance the R7 wins hands down against RP and the R (despite being of two different categories) but if we include the R6 in the comparison, the R7 certainly comes out defeated. This R7 is not a car that drives me crazy, I much prefer the R6 despite being an FF. I think that at the end of my tests (pesronali ) with camera and various optics dedicated if I deprived myself of this ML apsc in favor of the two R6 I would not miss it at all. It is however a camera that I would definitely recommend to those who make svifauna (certainly not combined with an RF 800 ...) or look for mm more than FF.

canon_rf800_f11Canon RF 800mm f/11 IS STM

Pros: Lightness, bulk, focal exclusion, cost.

Cons: Weight too light, constant opening at f / 11, stabilizer almost non-existent.

Opinion: I bring my opinion following wk just spent in the mountains, where I could fully use this RF 800 f / 11 asu R6 and R7 for life and landscape, Of course the comparison with my two zoom lenses canon RF 100-500 and the sigma 150-600 C were a must. The latter is heavy compared to the two Canon optics, but has a stabilization and precision of af to envy the RF 800. On R7 it becomes a 1280mm, long, very long. Raising the times and lowering the ISO changes very little, there is always the microcosm, imperceptible during the shot but as soon as you enlarge the image a little you discover the microcosm. On R6 it behaves better, well-defined and workable files but the microcosm and the little definition penalize this perspective. The stabilization is very bad, the gain stops are not those really declared by canon, I say it having used it on R6 and R7 both with stabilization in the room. The 100-500 RF at 500mm on R7 "becomes" an 800mm, it is much better than the RF 800, excellent photos for detail than for colors. also The sigma 150-600 C, with multiplier 1.4x on R6 "becomes" an 840mm, pesantuccio to use but the files are also better than RF 800,. It is a compact and lightweight lens for transport, but once extended for shooting it is long and uncomfortable to hold. The photos are off, devoid of emotion, flat, often the subject is not very sharp and not defined. As per canon policy for non-L-series lenses is not available neither the hood nor tripod mount together with the excellent. I would have preferred to spend a few hundred euros more and a few grams more on the weight but have a very, much more performing optics both in terms of opening and stabilization. Unfortunately it is a perspective that I would not recommend. Yes, maybe just enough time to try it, have fun, but for sure it will not be part of my kit.

canon_rf100-500Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM

Pros: Dimensions, weight, lightning fast af, L series, 77mm filters, Fully removable collar.

Cons: Practically nothing. There is no real swich for locking the zoom extension. The price for such an optics is not excessive.

Opinion: Comparison with the L 100-400 II series is almost a must. I believe that many owners of the 100-400 II used on SLR systems have almost compulsorily switched to this optics. Yes, of course the 100-400 II with adapter works very well on ML, but this optics is from another planet. Comparing it with the 100-400 II it is lighter, more compact and offers 100mm more travel, (darker than 2 stops? No problem with ML this difference is not even noticeable) I could also compare it with the sigma 150-600c Although 100mm less the size, weight and speed of the af make this 100-500 an absolute piece of 90. The aperture of f/7.1 is not a problem at all. It's super sharp. I've been using it on R, R6 and for a few days R7. On all three machines the AF is very responsive and lightning fast, even with repeated and abrupt changes of framing always keeps the subject in focus. The price ? It is not excessive if you think that the 100-400 costs 2700 euros, (and need an adapter to use it on R systems), certainly 3000 euros are not few but the optics are worth all this money, both for constraint and for yield.

canon_8-15_fisheyeCanon EF 8-15mm f/4 L USM Fisheye

Pros: L-series construction, crisp files already at TA, usm and fast focus

Cons: Cost, limited use, tiring.

Opinion: Unique optics and fields of application. It can be used with FF sensors (returning circular images) or on apsc with linear images and an incredible field of view. On FF at 8 mm he creates circular images, details, with an ever-present flare and blue halos that surround the circle of the image. always very difficult not to make shadows, head, arms, legs or other parts of the body happen in the frame, A 15 mm is a very pushed linear wide angle. With minimal focus you have a noticeable barrel distortion, a creative and pleasant effect. On apsc sensors it becomes a full-fledged wide angle, returning linear images. Creative, original, pleasant, versatile lens being able to use it on both formats... But after a couple of days of use it turns out nauseating and tiring. After a couple of days of use the circular images lose their charm, their magic, they are almost absurd and far-fetched. I find the price very very high, although the optics are worth up to the last penny but still excessive. I also have a Meike 8 mm, all manual, paid 1/4 of the canon I think it is a better investment for a similar lens or to have some fun. Would I recommend it? No. Too niche and tiring.

canon_35_f2isCanon EF 35mm f/2 IS USM

Pros: Compartment, lightweight, 35mm, is

Cons: Nothing to declare.

Opinion: I do not want to write poems or eleggi of opinions dictated by Dxo mark, resistance to infringements, resistance to flare etc etc .... I only give my opinion on the use of the optics in question. For my way of photographing I consider the 35 mm a better focal length than a 50mm. As a former owner of the various 35mm canon f 1.4 series one and series two I can only say that the difference in aperture f/2 vs f/1.4 is noticeable, especially in the 3D "magic" of the f/1.4, and who does not admit it is only because he has never tried an f/1.4 !!! That said, I loved and love the wonderful blurred f/1.4 which unfortunately involves bulk and weight unlike this f/2 light, compact (if used without hood) and the typical colors of canon. The stabilizer I find very effective and useful, although mounted on a classic 35mm gives you the opportunity to use fast shutter speeds and use low iso. I use it on 6dmk2, 80d, Eos R and Eos R6 and on all bodies it works which is a wonder. Would recommend? Yes, without a shadow of a doubt for those who do not want to spend too much money on an f/1.4 also used and if they want to travel light. The alternative is sigma Art,.... Tried years ago and resold after only 10 days.... to you the conclusion.

canon_28-300lCanon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 L IS USM

Pros: Versatility, weight, focal length, image quality, pump zoom ring.

Cons: Nothing

Opinion: After a scrupulous search based on readings of reviews, posts and videos dedicated to the 28-300 I decided that this Canon superzoom could be for me. In the past I had a Tamron 28-300 (very bad optics, despite being very compact and light). Ideal compromise for light outputs where with a single lens you cover a range from medium wide angle to telephoto. In one fell swoop I eliminated 24-105 f4 and 70-200 f4 and 100-400 II. During my outings I always had two eos R bodies, on one the 24-105, on the second body 70-200 or the 100-400. R+24-105+70-200 = 2200gr R+100-400= 2230 gr Total 4500gr Now I just need to go out with an eosR and the 28-300. And the weight of is reduced around you have 2400gr. For me the weight is not excessive (1700gr), it always remains lighter than going out with 100-400 and a camera body. The sharpness is still very good. Already at 35mm closes at f4, around you have 70mm becomes an f4.5 up to 300mm that becomes f5.6. Although a perspective with more than 15 years to the credit and an IS of only two stops declared on eos R and R6 works very well. Pump zoom ring is very convenient to fluid, in a moment you go from 28mm to 300mm, I find this system very versatile. I do not understand why Canon has not re-proposed it on new lenses It works very well with Kenko 1.4x multiplier. Recommended for those who want a versatile and practical optics.

canon_eos_rCanon EOS R

Pros: Compact, lightweight, use of ef and ef-s optics, adjustable dislpay, Wifi connections, crop factor in the machine, customizable.

Cons: Compact, sometimes with the itilizzo of the bg from a more solid grip sensation. Lack of setting a quick button dedicated to the crop factor, the eyepiece remains very protruding compared to the machine body and makes it difficult to store the machine body in the bag resting at its back. Once you've taken a slow photo in the viewfinder of new subjects.

Opinion: Having to add a second body to the 6dmk2 I was undecided whether to bet on a second 6dmk2 or try a mirroles. The choice was between an eos Rp or an eos R, The Rp seemed more compact and much less performing than the eos R. The choice fell on the eos R thanks to the curiosity of these new cameras. Use with EF adapter and optics. Correction in March 2021. After a few months of use and after the euphoria begins for the new purchase, I can fully express my judgment. I find the electronic viewfinder a little annoying, too bright if you frame a dark scene. The vision that returns to you is not real, it displays already elaborate images with the addition of photo style or the creators of the awb, after all it is a miniature screen ..... The display of the scene is late even if milliseconds makes you lose your cognetion with what happens around you. In this respect, I consider slRs to be unattainable. The files are very detailed and workable without any problem. Crop in the car is very useful. On balance.... More than a camera it looks like an electronic tool designed to take photographs, too much electronics. Although a good car, I go back in my footsteps and return to the world of SLRs. I just hope Canon doesn't leave the Reflex segment.

canon_300_f4isCanon EF 300mm f/4.0 L IS USM

Pros: Weight ,compact, stabilized, built-in lampshade, macro, minimum distance of focus.

Cons: F4 ? But I don't think that's a problem. Lack of tropicalization? But I don't think it's a problem So... nothing relevant.

Opinion: I recently bought alongside the heaviest, versatile and sharpest 70-200 f2.8 is. Excellent lens, very sharp when used smooth but also with multiplier 1.4x does not disfigure. On apsc bodies it becomes a 480mm. It's stabilized and that's an advantage. Years ago I had the 400 f5.6 sold after 10 days precisely because it was not stabilized. The stabilizer is old-fashioned, recovers 2 stops and a bit noisy but no making videos does not create problems for me. Excellent the slightest focus that allows you to take macro style photos. I am very satisfied with the purchase and since canon has been cataloging this optics for more than 25 years and has not yet provided a second series it means that it basically likes it.

canon_7d_mark2Canon 7D Mark II

Pros: Solid body, fast and quick af an entire dedicated menu.

Cons: The af system, holding high iso, battery life

Opinion: I have been waiting for the purchase of this machine since the first edition, now that I have it in my hands.... I am satisfied with this machine body. Arriving on 26 March 2020 I did some tests from the balcony and in the garden, with 300 f4, 50 f1.4, 70-200 f2.8 is and 24-105 f4 with related ext 2x and 1.4x. Let's start by saying that it is a machine born for the action and the menu entirely dedicated is proof of this. Perhaps a little too sophisticated but effective, to study and understand better. Fast burst with state-of-the-art cf. Very solid body that grips at its best. Unfortunately it lacks wifi but with dedicated card it solves the problem at the expense of the second slot sd. Coming from 60d, 80d and 6dmk2 I find uncomfortable the buttons on the left and the joystick that in the end is always accompanied by the use of the main dial, even the lack of touch and orientable screen is felt. But I think it's because the machine is semi-pro and entirely tropicalized. The files are light and very detailed, but if you want to croppare better do not use high iso, even do not raise the 1600 iso if possible. As already reported in other users the battery lasts little, I think it is due to the fact of the two processors and the fast burst. As I promised myself... finished the lock down period I immediately proceeded to sell it. There's never been a real feeling. I was a little disappointed.

canon_70-200_f4isCanon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM

Pros: L series, weight, colors, constant f4, price

Cons: Nobody.

Opinion: Already had in the past a few years ago then sold for big brother. What about...... nothing against it. First of all, the weight weighs exactly half of the big brother f2.8, and if you don't need a bright opening for indoor photos this is an exceptional optics, for portraits and landscape. After about 4 years spent with the Hawthorn I realized how wonderful this optics is, Fantastic Broker but the weight eventually became felt and considering how much I used it at TA I decided to take a step back.... Of course, the step back refers only to the aperture that goes from f2.8 to f4. The maximum f4 aperture is not a flaw, it is stabilized and you manage to get off by 4real stops. Af fast and precise, great colors no color aberration, spinning, or distortions, no problem regarding the infamous slipping focus. Also used with 1.4x multiplier becomes a fixed f5.6 still of excellent workmanship. I highly recommend it, there are no negative considerations.

sigma_50_f1-4Sigma 50mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM

Pros: Opening max f1.4, 77mm filters, low weight, handling, standard lampshade.

Cons: Building material?

Opinion: After trying on Canon 6d, 6dmk2, 80d a prime lens like the 35mm f1.4 Canon 1st and 2nd series and a sigma art 35, I wanted to try a first 50mm. The cheap choice, excludes the more expensive canon series L f1.2. The other optics in the Canon house are two, the plastic Canon 50 f1.8 stm (I am not fond of this system) and the canon F1.4 usm. Discarded the 50 f1.4 art, due to the weight, cost and repeated problems read of f/b focus, there remained only this "old" and out of production sigma. Found for less than 300 euros new on Amazon, including a lampshade and a rigid bag I decided to give it a try. Build quality a little poor compared to you Canon L series, but I think better than the two cheap-range Canon models the stm model and the usm model. Compared to the model Canon stm is well built, although it has that patina or velvety veil that covers all the optics (prelude of the old sigma before art and sport ....) It's not tropicalized (but I don't care) it's not stabilized (but with a max aperture of F1.4 I don't think it's going to do much). High-impact optics: mounting 77mm filters is very handy, practical and with a low weight. The Canon f1.4 with 58mm filters gave me the impression of being a little small, and difficult to handle, let alone the stm model that opts for 49mm filters.... In the practical field, which is what matters, it behaves well. It does not suffer from f/b focus either on apsc or ff. A Ta detailed photos, clear, excellent detachment of plans, excellent broker, true and bright colors. Af lightning, does not miss a shot , a little chromatic aberration that disappears closing by a few stops. Closed at f 2.8 or f4 is a wonder. I can't compare it to the recent sigma art 50 , But I can say I had two bad experiences with two models of art 35 cause f/b focus on both , I think this "old" series is more reliable and does not create problems than the latest art. All I can do is advise him. Despite being a model out of production.

canon_ef35_f1-4_iiCanon EF 35mm f/1.4L USM II

Pros: L-series, 1.4 maximum aperture, creates addiction because of its very pleasant and creamy three-dimensionality.

Cons: Was it really a series two?

Opinion: My fifth 35mm f1.4, of which two Sigma art and three L series. I got in order: L Series first version, Sigma Art, L series first version, Sigma Art, and now this second version. In all cases where there was the transition between Canon and Sigma I regretted the canon. Innutile write a lot of disappointment on two different lenses sigma, usual problems known that many persist in hiding.... Anyway about this L series.... Very well built, it looks like a 16-35 F4 is, excellent three-dimensionality to TA, hooks the subject even with low light, no sign of gost or flare. Honestly I did not find much difference in the files between the first and second series, I do not know if you actually needed a makeover, maybe it's just a talk of marcendising and marketing. It is definitely a light optics to have in your kit, perhaps at the expense of a zoom. Personally I would have liked the diameter of the filters from 77 instead of 72mm, so as to exploit the same diameter from 16 to 200 mm.

canon_100_f2Canon EF 100mm f/2.0 USM

Pros: Compact (which is also a defect), lightweight, F2, sharpness, price

Cons: As far as the optics nothing... Too compact, difficult to manipulate. For the lens hood speech.....

Opinion: I use it on 6DMK2, very interested focal length for portraits. Light and compact (perhaps too much, if not used with lens hood is too short and difficult to handle) very fast in focus, even in low light conditions. Closed at F2 creates a good boker effect and gives three-dimensionality to the subject in my opinion a hair (but very little) higher than the Canon 70-200 is USM F 2.8 a TA but lower than the Canon 35 L F 1.4. (which I consider the best optics I had with 3d effect wowwww) Closed a couple of stops does not lose any speed or sharpness, but I think you lose his real magic. Perhaps the only drawback is the lens hood, (but not really), which is as large as 3/4 optics and mounted "stretches" in a flashy way, but it becomes easy to handle... Always Diacorso lens hood The attack is not really the best (old style with the two buttons side) and even the most practical, but just leave it always mounted and you will reprint to the problem.... I was a bit skeptical about the fact that a TA F2 could use filters from 58, (have such a small front lens compared to 135l or 35l) but I have rethought. Good value for money. Rated 8.5 recommended for those who want to spend little and have an excellent fixed for portraits and not only.. Although I think it stays too small.

canon_17-40Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0 L USM

Pros: Construction, compactness, constant opening on all focal lengths, L-series, price

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: I got to own both the 16-35 F4 is USM and the 16-35 F 2.8 USM, and I just missed this wide angle for ff..... Impeccable construction from L series, handy, light and compact, soft but very precise rings. On 6dmk2 it performs fine and has a good balanced. I have not found all those flaws of which many talk about it, namely the dark or pasty edges, indeed I have to say instead that the details are good from the center you have edges. Maybe it's also about the optical correction and aberration in the room of the 6dmk2.... Maybe the colors are a little bit cold. Closed at F8 is really a very good lens. When compared to the 16-35 F4 is USM is missing the stabilizer but it is not a big problem, weighs much less and costs roughly 400 euros less. The lens hood is similar to the 16-35 F 2.8 A Little big and comes out a lot from the edges of the lens, but nothing to worry about. The 77 diameter filters are almost a constant on the L series, giving you the ability to use the same filter on more lenses by going from 17 mm until you get to 200mm. Rated 9. Recommended.

canon_6d_mark_iiCanon 6D Mark II

Pros: Weight content, FF, high ISO holding, AF system, articulated screen, ability to edit and retouch in-room files, general connectivity.

Cons: Missing second SD card slot

Opinion: In November of 2017 I sold the 6d, now I felt the need to have a FF again in outfit. The choice was whether to resume a 6d or pass the 6d Mk2. Three the two series over you have 5 years of technology in addition there are 500 euros of price difference for series 2. Despite the price difference not just the choice fell on the 6dmk2 I can say I made a great choice. The machine although FF is compact, and if it were not for two keys placed in different places is all for all a 80d but with FF sensor.... The AF at 45 points is significantly improved compared to the previous series. It resists very high ISO, I tried with a lens f 2.8 to 51200 ISO, AF to 45 zones and the image is really valid, no obvious sign of ginning. Adjustable screen. Very wide and bright viewfinder with the possibility of having an electronic level on two axes in addition to the state of the battery and other parameters. Very fast burst even if shot with maximum resolution 26MP raw + JPAG. On the connectivity side you can choose between the WiFi or Bluetooth, in addition the GPS is integrated. Mode of shooting creative areas for all tastes. In the display of images as well as you have usual data of shooting, histogram, mode of shooting, ISO, date, time etc... It also displays the type of optics used and the focal length for shooting the photo. I do not want to open unnecessary debates on who has defined a machine born already old, lacking in character or other..... probably those who talk ill has no way to hold it in his hands. If Dovesso find a cons, (which then is not a real cons) personally I would have liked a second slot for memory card. In short 5 years of technology more than the 6d you see all. This FF 6dmk2 is really valid in all its aspects, and considering that to have a FF Series 5 Mk3 It takes circa1000 euros more. .... Ratio Qualota/Price I would say a 9.5 full. (that is to say that C is always room for improvement....) In my opinion has many papers in order to unpick the 6d from the podium and become the Queen of the FF "entry level" is with all honesty a better than 6d, speech that many snub or criticize it in a negative without having ever tried it is without logic.

Pros: price.

Cons: a bit of everything

Opinion: Well, after reading, writing and commenting on some interventions on this view, I can express my opinion. rnrn At the time of choosing a 35mm in many I have spoken well of this sigma, but I have always been very skeptical.rnI had two lenses Canon 35 F1.4 Usm L (first series) and I can make the comparison between this Sigma and the Canon rnRe my review is based on the comparison between the two 35.rnrnWith an opportunity of a forum user I bought this sigma used. (resale immediately after only three days of tests) rnrnSui my bodies (6d and 80d) rn not always I found the very famous problem of fb, but when it was the only solution to take the photos and throw them.rnin high occasions the subject (static) with a central point of focus from the viewfinder is blurred while the picture is perfectly focused. Many images with obvious flare disturbances. A picture of 5 is good. rnE here within about all those who talk about calibration with doc etc etc .... rnSe purchase an optical claim its total, reliable, immediate use from the moment in here I take the optics out of the box to mount iton the body machine.rnrnparniamo the aesthetics: rnpiù content and light of the canon, (uses 67mm filters rather than 72mm), in turn the materials seem to me a little scanty, a bit plasticosi, do not give you that feeling of strength and reliability of the canon.rnThe lens hood is screwed and unscrew very easily compared to the Canon, and this makes it a little less stable and subject to loosen itself.rnpero Compared to the Canon is tropicalizzata.rnrn On the photographic front, the files that make have more colors cold and less real than the canon.rnA full aperture against the light I noticed the flare, the blurred is pleasant, the effect of three-dimensionality and pleasant even if it does not have that woww effect of the canon ... rnrnconclusions: rnil comparison with the canon can only do in terms of focal length and aperture, rnper the Canon beats Sigma, also for the price that I consider justified.rnTo conclude, I would not recommend, I was very disappointed and I do not understand all those who p they are fine. rn Better to aim at the Canon even if it costs qulche euro more & ugraI ;. rnrn

Pros: Constructive levels from series L, nnitid, lightweight

Cons: Maybe the price ....

Opinion: Purchased mainly for use on the 100-400 IIrnin as the Kenko name does not work and the Canon 2x iii loses the automatisms. RnrnThough crisp and responsive despite stealing a stop on the openings, so far it does not seem to be mounted. Pros: excellent value for money

Cons: it works with many canon optics, where the official canon duplicator can not even be mounted.

Opinion: bought for trial on Canon macro 100L since the original canon is not supported. For a stop on any optics that is mounted. rnrnA large amazement and satisfaction I found that the canon optics that I "digest" are many .... rn I had to test it with canon 6d and 80d, then a ff and apsc and optics comern16-35 L f 2 8 II Usmrn24-70 L f 2.8 II usm rn70-200 L f 2.8 II usmrn100 L f 2.8 macro Lrn35 f 1.4 (Sigma) Unfortunately, the Canon 100-400 II does not recognize it. RnrnAll automatisms work perfectly smoothly and precisely makes files very clean and perfect.rnAlthough it seems to use non-multiplying optics, you just have to take the stop at less than brightness. Pros: Focal excursion, handling, construction.

Cons: nothing at the moment.

Opinion: I can only approach everything dario Rattieri wrote. adding personal opinions. above the dial of the focus c is a rotary selector that makes the zoom ring softer or harder. The optics is excellent in every way, from construction to photos that kidney, weight is contained. I thought it was a little dark with an f4.5 and f5.6 as an opening, but it's bright. The colors are realistic and bright, Is is fast and responsive. From 100 to 300mm the opening remains constant at f4.5 then from 300 to 400 switches to f5.6. The attack of the trepod seems a little small, and not being completely removable cluttered during the rotation of the focus ring but if placed above it turns out to be a valid foothold for transport. I did tests on 80d with two multipliers : - Canon 2x iii at 100m the center point passes to f9.5 , the af does not work, you have to use the mf. - Kenko1.4 300 pro 80d does not recognize optical or multiplier. ... Too bad. At the weight level we are like a have a 70-200 is f2.8. I strongly support this optics, both for focal and bright excursion, perhaps it can scare you for its cost... but it's worth a lot more than you pay. Bought back in 2020

Cons: anything

Opinion: I have already had this superlative optic last year then resold to switch to 24-105 f4.rnrnL I rebuilt a few days to complete the triad f 2.8 from 16 to 200 mm.rnWhat to say? Very good in all directions, from the well-finished construction to the photos it gives.rnThough crisp, real colors, lightning fast.rn In low light conditions Usm always finds the subject to focus in very few moments. RnrnThe only thing that together with 16-35 f 2.8 I'm not excited about the size of the 82mm filter, I would have preferred a 77mm diameter similar to 70-200.rnrnPosso comparison with tamron 24-70 f 2.8 is stabilized and costs half the Canon but ... for low-light and low-light photos it is not up to the highest Canon.
