Who was interested here finds discussion with all the details and development of my experiments.
(don't expect professional or particularly elaborate things)
Saluti, Roberto ;-)

Thank you Durden 8-)
every bit it is good to take a few steps back and go back to the origins, to understand the meaning of some things that escape us today.
Buona evening, Roberto

Thank you Ik1lbo and Fabio F77 8-)
The exposure was 4 minutes to f/5.6
I was in a basement illuminated by 3 neon lamps.
It's probably underexposed, maybe neon doesn't have enough UV. I measured with the digital camera that also measures non-UV and this could stagger the measurement.
Saturday I do it again during the day outside. Let's see what comes out.
In the meantime the collodion should be "matured" a little, and therefore give more contrast.
Buona evening,
Roberto

Fantastic Roberto, great job I peeked at the discussion, very interesting and nostalgic. Congratulations and happy holidays.

Hi Alejandro,
thank you very much!
This picture isn't much to be honest... but I'm fond of it because it's the first one where you see something ;-)
moist collodium is an interesting technique. On the glass plate you actually see only a very thin layer, like a veil, and as if by magic, put on a black surface takes shape and the image appears.
It's not as contrasted as we're used to seeing... at least mine are not so... we'll see the next ones!
I wish you happy holidays too!
Robert

fun to test yourself by experimenting with new/old techniques; when you succeed I think it's extremely rewarding

Click and everything looks more or less as you see it. Something else appears to you with colloding. It's a surprise every time.

Thanks Daniel,
This was one of the first photos with wet collodion, the first where you could see something. I like it because it has something surreal.
Now I will resume with the liquid emulsion, much simpler... ;-)
Good weekend to you too,
Roberto
