TimeLapse "The magic land Iceland". The timelapse is composed of about 12 000 shots taken with two cameras; Nikon d800 and d700, two lenses Nikkor 14-24 f / 2.8, Nikkor 24-70 f / 2.8, ShooTools Camera Slider with one 80 ShooTools Auto Pan I have been an keen photographer since 2009 but only started to experiment with this technique a few months ago. This is my first real structured work. This project was carried out during a trip of just nine days in magnificent Iceland. The island has no need of introduction, a paradise for every photographer with stunning scenery, waterfalls, volcanoes, glaciers and geysers. To travel in the midst of all this nature was a unique, indescribable experience. One of the most impressive moments was finding myself alone in a lagoon in front of a glacier, when the absolute silence was shattered by the sound of the ice breaking and icebergs took shape before me. With the timelapse I wanted to tell the magic that this land transmits from the break of dawn through to the uncontaminated darkness of the cold nights when the sky becomes a stage for the magical northern lights. There was little time available but thanks to careful planning, I managed to produce enough material to get a decent result, also taking into consideration my limited experience in the field.
