Ciao a tutti, vorrei scaricare un raw Canon da 24mpx per vedere se il mio pc è abbastanza potete da gestirlo "decentemente". E' possibile scaricarlo da qualche parte? oppure qualche gentile utente ha modo di inviarmene uno? |

Dunque ho fatto le prove ma i risultati non sono per nulla incoraggianti... Per quanto riguarda il render di un file a 12Mp (450D che ho usato finora) siamo su 9" a foto. Su un file a 18Mp si sale a 14" a foto (che ritengo ancora accettabile). Il problema è che con i file a 24Mp i tempi balzano ad un mostruoso 2'45"! In pratica ci vuole quasi mezz'ora per convertire 10 foto! Scattando sempre in raw diventa davvero eccessivo... oltretutto anche le operazioni su DPP mi paiono rallentate. Ero indeciso se procurami una 200D o una 750D ma a questo punto non mi resta che la 1300D |

ed aggiornare il PC invece? 9" secondi per una foto della 450D sono già un'enormità! se avessi quei tempi d'elaborazione, scatterei direttamente in JPEG! |

che specifiche ha il tuo pc? non esistono i5 quad core da portatile. Poi i mpx non sono tutto nella foto, conta anche la gamma dinamica, più un file ha gamma più conterrà informazioni, più sarà pesante da aprire, con che programma lavori? La differenza di tempo è ingiustificata dai mpx, i problemi probabilmente sono altrove, magari nel programma da aggiornare. Più che altro non ha molto senso cambiare macchina fotografica essendo condizionati dal pc, il giorno che lo cambi ti ritrovi in mano una macchina scadente... e facilmente la fotocamera dura di più di un pc. |

Io ho un portatile di 10 anni Intel i3 ......... 100 raw della M3 da 24 mpx ci mette circa 10 minuti a caricarli in libreria di Lightroom e creare l'anteprima 1:1 secondo me ha qualche problema il tuo pc. |

non è che si capisca molto da quello che hai scritto, anche perchè i due post dicono cose contraddittorie, da una parte dice che hai un i5 dall'altra un celeron. Ma dire semplicemente il modello del processore , quanti gb di ram hai e eventualmente che scheda video era troppo semplice? |

Eccomi, allora vi spiego tutto. @Bernalor: le specifiche le ho stampate da Linux ma per i Raw uso DPP su Windows 7 che è in dual boot. @Matteo N. Il primo post è una stampa delle specifiche. Il secondo post è stato fatto con un programma di benchmark che serve a testare le reali capacità di calcolo del PC in particolare questo significa: FPU Raytracing -> è il tipo di test effettuato This Machine 1181 MHz 4,992 -> è il risultato del test sul mio PC Intel(R) Celeron(R) M processor 1.50GHz (null) 40.8816714 -> è il risultato che avrebbe un Celeron PowerPC 740/750 (280.00MHz) (null) 161.312647 -> è il risultato che avrebbe un power PC le ultime due righe sono solo dei riferimenti per paragonare il PC testato con altri PC noti in modo da farsi un'idea delle prestazioni. Per quanto riguarda la ram ho 8 Gb, credo sia sufficiente in quanto il disco non "swappa" mai (cosa che faceva in continuazione quando avevo 4 Gb) . Ho notato che quando converto i raw da 24mp la barra di progresso non avanza in modo costante, tipo che parte veloce poi ad un quarto rallenta e sta ferma un po' di secondi, poi riprende ad avanzare ma in modo irregolare. Quando converto i raw della mia fotocamea invece non ho mai notato un comportamento del genere (la barra avanza costantemente alla stessa velocità) Voglio un sensore APSC poco denso con 6 megapixel!! |
