Pros: Construction, brightness, price, manual focus
Cons: No one!
Opinion: I put my hand between the pro maf because for me there is absolutely no weight at all! Using the adapter ring for Canon, with focus confirmation chip, the only "hard", so to speak, is to turn the dial. For portraits is the ideal lens, razor sharp and one blurred very nice, pellet, say so. Other advantage is the strength, solidity of construction. In part 100 Macro L is much smaller, but weighs more, all metal and glass, a truly solid. Another thing that I like very much, is the yield of neutral colors. Each photo gives the colors exactly as they were in reality, not saturated nor out, is perfectly real. I really appreciate this, because sometimes, certain goals, they tend to charge the hue, but I prefer this feature, made a real color. And if one wants to saturate the colors in post takes a second. Last positive note, the price. For rendering, blursand sharpness is comparable to, or slightly below, the Canon 135 L, which costs about 1000 €. I've paid this Zeiss 200, the network if they are even less. If one exceeds the "blocking" of the maf manual is in our hands a MR target, with few rivals. |
