Pros: Sensor, processor, af in Lv 273 points Af, eye-tracking, exposure times up to 900 sec, backward compatible with AI optics, functional optical park with Tamron G2 for responsiveness at the highest levels.

Cons: Nobody, I'm sincere and not biased, those who have a good knowledge of the lenses orient themselves on Tamron and with this beast you also have stabilization with earthquake-proof optics.

Opinion: An operational camera body that give space to dynamism and creativity, under an eye and an expert hand becomes with the combination of the right lenses a sharpshooter with 99% of shots to score, I find it absolutely complete for those like me who have had many bodies of any manufacturer, the yellow black house has managed to risk implementing the potential of SLRs and compensating with the potential of mirrorless, hybrid machine with edges , does not fear rivals , are the others that selectively must fear . Unique segment of its kind. Revolutionary. Rating 10

Pros: Image quality, high iso yield, ergonomics, double slot, speed af,autonomy.

Cons: Lack flash,syncro flash 1/200,no bg,price

Opinion: I've had it for just over a month. The last Nikons I had were the D7200,D7100 and I got to use the D750. I have to say that the ergonomics of the D780 have improved considerably. Unlike the other cameras mentioned above it falls into the hands perfectly. They've widened the little bit that the handle is enough. The picture quality is spectacular. Churn out ready-made jpeg files without needing to be processed. I got to use it indoors at 3200 iso and it has crazy noise containment. Also excellent at 6400 iso. The autofocus is very fast and precise from the viewfinder, it becomes instantaneous in liveview using the 273 points of maf. It has a huge autonomy, you forget to change the battery. Shooting times ranging from 900 sec to 1/8000 sec. Let's come to the cons. Compared to the D750, there are no contacts for the battery grip. It no longer has pop-up flash, but the way it works high iso and in combination with bright optics I would say that maybe they were right to take it off making it even more tropicalized. Flash synchronization only up to 1/200. The price is high, especially if Nital. Ultimately it is an excellent REFLEX. The only thing I envy mirrorless is the built-in stabilizer, otherwise pentaprisma forever. Vote 10-

Pros: Robust body and excellent construction, autonomy, file quality even at the highest iso (>6400), advantages of an ML without being

Cons: Flash absence, price of the new, BG grip absence, weight (a little) greater than the D750

Opinion: After much reflection on the purchase of the D780 or a Z6/Z6II I opted for the D780. Because? I didn't want to throw the many F-system lenses in my possession and with which I developed a great feeling, nor did I want to use the FTZ queuing to use my lenses on ML, losing any advantages of weight and footprint. I didn't even want to give up the double slot (in case of Z6) or use memories that cost as much as a small compact! Finally, I didn't want to give up the infinite autonomy of reflexes... So, only possible choice: D780. I am a Nikon user from the F80, passing through almost all the digital of medium high level (including, D300/D700/D800/D810...), and in recent years, to lighten the race and for changed needs I then went on the D750 to which I joined the D780. After a few months of use, I feel like I can write a review. The D750 and D780 cameras, are very similar to each other but the newcomer shows itself, already to the touch, more "professional", a little heavier, grip a little improved, flash absence that makes it really tropicalized (although the lack of flash i can feel it). Exceptional file quality: they have improved the already excellent rows of the D750 species at the high iso. I was stunned in front of rows taken at 10000 iso. Up to 800 iso, only a very trained eye notices the iso increase (so much so that I use the iso car in fluency up to 400 when I shoot at speed and want a parachute). Up to 6400 files are usable and very workable, casting the dynamic range very little. Tested up to 12800 without major trouble. The 24Mpx sensor combined with the new processor does not penalize any optics unlike BigMpx that prefer lenses of always excellent quality. Very fast focus from both viewfinder and Live View. Burst from 7FPS reaching as many as 12 in LV. Completely silent shooting in LV also directly through the touch screen, automatic focus stacking, live histogram while shooting in LV, live exposure during shooting in LV. Double SD slot: nothing new but remember that it is cheap, reliable and universal. Shoot and download everywhere and, with a few dozen euros, buy other cards (also at Coop) if you need them without fainting in XQD. Full connectivity with BT and wifi for use via Snapbridge app that works discreetly. Finally, I want to say a few words on the Live View of this camera, defined by many as "hybrid". For sure, through the screen allows it to be used (almost) as a mirrorless. Giving the possibility to seal on 273 points, to shoot by touching the screen (sealing at the same time), to see the exhibition live and to shoot in a completely silent way. All this using my optics and without having to buy the new gold weight S optics (selling mine as old irons). After years of NOT using (if not very sporadic) the live view with SLRs I discovered how convenient it is to use it, to look for particular angles without splitting your back, or to evaluate the exposure and the bubble by holding it on an easel. The completely silent shot inside is phenomenal and, combined with the iso seal and the ability to shoot by tapping the screen, allows you not to disturb even in the case of churches or museums. In conclusion: a thoroughbred reflex for those who want again but do not want to get rid of its optics and not give up the REFLEX system and, at the same time, have available some improvements of the ML system. If Nikon decided to continue along this line he would have a lot of loyal people who would not force to change the system and who, perhaps happy with their D700/D750 would buy a reflex... as long as it goes down in price.

Pros: Image Quality, ISO Seal, Ergonomics, Display

Cons: High price.

Opinion: Making a judgment on this Reflex thinking you have an ML in your hand is the wrong thing you can do. Of course the judgment will be negative... it's a Reflex... it's not an ML. And it's a great car... The ISO estate is embarrassing and close to the highest levels you can find today on the market, the tests compare it to the D5 to understand us. The body is perfect, it was immediate love... the handle almost doesn't make the 840gr feel and all the controls are like mom nikon got us used to. I am really happy, I confirm all the positive that has been said by those who preceded me and I dwell on the few "negative" aspects just to make the counter-point!!!. I'm sorry that as with the d850 easy ISO was taken off which I found comfortable. The files it churns out are really beautiful even if they remain not very easy to work with when the shooting conditions have not been optimal like haze in mountain landscapes or conditions of strong light contrast. From this point of view... the new sensors still don't work miracles. After about 3000 shots I can say that he suffers slightly if he submits too much... although I noticed a greater hold on the high lights that allow you to push more. It must also be said that each machine has its own sensor and you have to waste some time figuring out how to get the best out of the post process. Say goodbye to the old Patona batteries... the chip recognizes them and doesn't let you use them? During the first shots I got scared... vibrations caused by the shutter. I assure you that it is a phenomenon that tends to subside quickly. I don't notice anymore. It is talked about on the net and I confirm that it does not cause micromosso at all. HYBRID chapter... The d780 Is a Reflex in which they brought ML technology, Lw side you will actually have a Z6. Where do I find the hybrid useful? Silent shooting, eyeAF and 271 points in portraiture, the possibility to perform extreme shots in comfort... for everything else, having bought a Reflex, I prefer the dear old pentaprisma.

Pros: the product file is nice, the machine looks solid, the wifi connection works well

Cons: price still exaggerated today, absence of a lot of functions (it even lacks stabilization!), size, weight

Opinion: premise, I did not buy the machine but I tried it for a few days, ready to think again about my skepticism about this attempt by Nikon to bring the advantages of ML in the SLR world. Alas, in the end I can say that I find myself with an even worse judgment. This "hybrid" produces excellent files, up to the most demanding demands, but in the end it is a product that more than combines the advantages of the two systems, combines the disadvantages. The SLR world carries with it the considerable weight, size, front/back focus problems while also losing stabilization, built-in flash, joystick and battery grip: all serious and, in 2020, unacceptable. I don't make videos, but I think the noise of the AF in shooting using older optics could be a problem. When used with the viewfinder (only serious use in my opinion of a camera) the AF module is limited, and after you get used to the entire frame of ML is a disconcerting difference. The advantages of the mirrorless world (like eyeAF) you can only have them with the monitor (and when there is so much light, for example on snow?). all this, another sore note, at a price still really absurd, off the market. My final advice? If you really want to count on the improvements of the new system without a mirror, then switch without delay to the new Z - system with completely different potentials - and cut the bridges with the past, however painful it may be. But then not too much: a 24-70 Z6 kit currently costs almost equal!

Pros: Image quality, ISO hold, display sensitivity, naturalness of colors

Cons: Nothing for what my purposes are

Opinion: I write as an evolved amateur to his first FF. I've always had machines technologically back 3/4 years, currently a Fuji T2. I decided to take an FF and being one of the pioneers of ML I was almost certain to take the Sony A7iii that well matched my needs. Then it happened that I tried it... Randomly... during a we between friends and.... the spark didn't snap. The premise: for me ML means low weights and lenses that are just as good. At this time, apart from Fuji (but not FF), I do not see systems where the ML-lens (quality) pairing produces an effect on weights and footprints that are really contained (ditto prices). At that point having seen this new release I evaluated the purchase to be combined with a 35/2 D. The set makes it possible to make the whole cmq acceptable in terms of weights and clutter. I took it on Amazon in case I wanted to make it without too many complications if I was unhappy with the purchase.... the results I have to say have impressed me. The first shot... with settings of how arrived.... Average JPEG/ISO car at max.... he gave me a great inside photo. In reading the shooting data I was convinced that I had seen bad.... 28800 ISO and noise virtually absent. Hallucinating!!! Without going further, I can say that the strengths in my opinion are precisely the ISO seal, the balance of white and the general image quality. After the 35/2 D I took, all used, also an 85/1.8 D and the 28-105 3.5/4.5 D (against a minimum expense). All slow dated but which I think are of excellent quality. Surely the yield with more modern and lending lenses will be even better in terms of sharpness. Rating: 9.5

Pros: Precision, general feeling at the top

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: It has arrived today, in these terrible days ! The car is beautiful, it holds very well, conveys a feeling of professionalism. I'm from a D 7100. Basically the jump is just mind-blowing ! Colors, image depth, definition. holding iso beyond imagination. Excellent results, even if mine is a judgment of a non-worker but a passionate twenty-year-old ! However the photos are beautiful and, I repeat, coming from APS C the difference is really abysmal. The focus is precise both in the crosshairs but also and above all at live view, very pleasant in every respect. I'm absolutely delighted !

Pros: Very well done body, very good ergonomics, impressive ISO hold, optimal white balance at Z6 level

Cons: Nothing.... for the time being

Opinion: Just bought and already successfully used at the sporting level in the brescia Basketball games. Take example photos at 10000 ISO and no noise signal. Great viewfinder even if not professional of the 800/850 series. The gust level speed of 7 fps is excellent. You need really little photo retouching. Really happy with the purchase.

Pros: aufotocus live view fast and precise, compact and solid body, comfortable grip, high range, double slot SD cards, easy to use.... very similar to the D750 (in use), held at high ISOs

Cons: battery grip and flash pop up absent... but for me that I don't shoot burst and flash is not a problem

Opinion: Taken on Sunday morning and used in the afternoon... 200 shots are not enough to make judgments, but as I took it in my hand I had no problems. Used at the motor show in Turin... particular place with little light in general and only a few overlit points, but on this occasion it was very well bought. It also has to be taken into account that I was working with the zoom of the 24-120 F4 kit and I did not want to mount more high-performance lenses deliberately. In my gallery you will find some shots with , practically, zero post-production (apart from frame and signature)... are the JPEGs that churn out the machine itself. I also used it outdoors and didn't have any kind of problem. The thing that struck me most in general is the surrender in the dark. focuses and the photo is good (ISO 25600). Very similar to the D750 aesthetically and as I use. but it's a whole other machine. On the video department I do not pronounce because I did not use it and I will not use it much. In my opinion it is worth upgrading the D750 considering that, until the end of March 2020 I think, there is an incentive of 200.00 euros. PS-Download Camera Raw 12.2 (or Lightroom Classic 9.2) otherwise you won't be able to open RAW files

Pros: ultra-fast and precise live-view aufotocus, compact and solid body, comfortable grip, high range, double slot with fast uhs-2 card compatibility, high iso hold, even more effective 3D tracking, effective Eye-Detection AF

Cons: no battery grip (at least so far as January 2020), flash pop up absent, so no cls, absence Ir, remote remote remote control incompatibility ML-L3, Autofocus 51 points and no module af d5/d500/d850, initial cost high even only Nital body (over 2000 cocuzze)

Opinion: I made a D750 overrated, because practically new, I already had one before this and I took the D780 . I tested them together and the difference in file quality that is the thing that interests me the most, there is and you also notice high iso over 125000 Iso for example, for me that I shoot a lot at night. The AF is more precise and quick in the crosshairs than the D750. live view is a different story and there's nothing to compare. The Expeed6 is faster than a card. (uhs-2 vs. uhs-1 of the D750, i.e. a fast board in SCRITTURA up to 300mb/s against the maximum 100 mb/s of the uhs-1) there is no Battery Grip but the handle is more comfortable and the little finger does not run away from me, also because I have small hands. More defined monitor, touch even more sensitive than that of D500 and D850. Best sensitivity of the d850 because it obviously has fewer megapixels. In short, for what I have to do, I also thought to have a clone of the D750 with only a better live view, but trying it on the field both I repeat, I saw a NET difference (5 years are many) The D750 is mid-2014 the D780 early 2020. So since I could afford it, was it worth changing? If it is in these conditions you. It looks like the D750, but instead there are sharp differences. Maybe it's a bit early to do a full review since I haven't used it yet and squeezed it properly, but the first impressions are very good. The price is high is true, but even the D750 cost about 2000 euros. I would recommend for those who have budget problems to wait for price drops especially Nital. Mine was more of a challenge since having a new D750 with the fresh D780, didn't make sense to me.
