Pros: Small and versatile, performing with good optics, generous, sincere battery, excellent as an entry level body.

Cons: High ISO noise, unresolute monitor, not always reliable autofocus, lack of shooting information with retro optics.

Opinion: It was my first reflex and with her I did a lot of school and really many shots. He accompanied me in all photographic genres, even under the stars and the Milky Way. And he did it with dignity. By pairing it with decent lenses, you get considerable satisfaction, especially with fixed optics. The high-ISO sensor produces enough noise, while autofocus is deficient in certain situations, but you can forgive it. Using it with older lenses, unfortunately you do not have all the shooting information available, which is present in the most advanced models. It is small, light, and allows itself to be carried very well, moreover the battery lasts very long ensuring a high number of shots. I recommend it to all those who approach this world for the first time, moreover now in second-hand they are at very modest prices!

Pros: Size, versatility, file, price

Cons: Iso seal, focus points, very slow

Opinion: The D3100 is the entry level that taught me the basics of digital photography. Recommended for those who want to enter this world by not spending an exaggeration. Clearly, being an entry level the things it can do are limited: for example, with this reflex you make good nocturnal keeping iso not too high (the maximum it can hold is 800 iso). Once I learned the basics and realized that the D3100 could no longer meet my standards, I switched to the D7500: another story and other functions, but for what the D3100 meant to me, I didn't sell it and keep it as a forklift in my bag.

Pros: If you need a cheap Nikon in 2020 it takes you well today. Display not resolute but great.

Cons: Low image quality, low ISO hold. It can't be a first body. Has the Live View

Opinion: Opinion must be considered in context. The D3100 is small, light but doesn't have an engine for AF lenses without an engine. If you find it today, like me, for less than 100 euros, it can be an excellent mule as a second or third body. I talked about how you can also take advantage of full frame lenses on dx machines in my channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbIdp3DUDqB-C1Aqn9KMAXQ/ I took it just to be able to use Nikon optics for FullFrame as well. The quality of the sensor and image is not great but its 14Mpix are very manageable as dimensions even in RAW. It is small and handy, comfortable to carry around without worrying about scratching or damaging it. It's not a PRO and not even a SemiPRO.... but today it is at ridiculous prices and has a 3" display, the LiveView, the battery lasts a lot, buying a reliable SLR at a ridiculous price can be convenient!

Pros: Excellent as entry level, good image quality (considering the lens to which it is addressed), robustness and solidity.

Cons: Monitor, bad ISO seal

Opinion: I've had this car for almost 10 years now and she's my closest friend. Despite the years it does a great job still (especially combined with the Sigma 18-35 f/1.8) and I can bring home some excellent results. Obviously it can not compete with the most modern machines, but at least it is of an excellent robustness: accidentally falling 2 years ago from about a meter and a half and still works perfectly. Against, however, the poor sealing of the iso (although still remains an entry level) and a focus that, especially with little light, leaves a lot to be desired. That said, when used in manual by great results and allows you to know the world of manual photography. Perfect as first reflex machine.

Pros: Perfect as entry level. Even with kit lens gives great satisfaction.

Cons: Outrageous Monitor resolution

Opinion: As for many it was my first SLR and, sentimentality aside, I feel strongly recommend it to anyone who approaches photography. Simple, intuitive and even its consistency and lightness (with attached plasticosity) are in my opinion a point in favor: It takes easily around a whole day and you have this feeling of having in your hands a toy... Which in any way gives really beautiful shots that with a bit of work in post production can become real pearls (just see some authors of the site to believe)! What to add? For my personal experience, in choosing the kit lens to match, I suggest the 18-55 F 3.5/5.6 Objective Kit In my opinion much more performant than the 18-105 3.5/5.6, another very common lens kit that I use today on d7100. At the same brightness the first one returns the colors much softer and pastellated that I did not found in 18-105. Absolute sore Note: the Monitor... Very low resolution and serves practically only to make sure that the photo was taken... To really see the picture go from the computer!

Pros: Easy to use, lightweight files even in raw, enough megapixels for detailed photos, used price.

Cons: ISO seal, bad gust, too small to be well ergonomic, buttons a little plasticosis.

Opinion: I bought this car about a year and a half ago to then switch recently to the d7000. I think it is among the best entry level for the quality price; having found it at 150 euros with objective and all the accessories, you can not compare to compact or bridge of that price range. Being able to make the comparison with the d7000 the flaws emerged easily: The ISO I have almost always kept to 100, for the too noise above ISO 800, the burst is practically useless, the 3 fps in fact it is better to let them be; It's easier to shoot in the "perfect" moment with a single shot. The machine obviously does not offer all the functions in the menu of the series 7 * * * * or 5 * * * *, however it has the necessary functions and sufficient for a machine of that type. I still firmly believe that there can be no better for that price.

Pros: Easy to use, lightweight but enjoyable files, battery life, ergonomics and weight.

Cons: I would say nothing to be a entrylevel. Under certain conditions already to 800iso unusable.

Opinion: First reflex. I've been here for four years and loved and hated her. Hated for having sometimes castrated me in not being able to make shots that I wanted. Loved because these limitations have led me to discover new ways to photograph and have forced me to learn to Postproduce to achieve excellent results where I would never have seen without. Manages to recover 2 stops of shadows and light in post. Ergonomics in relation to the optimum weight, brought with me always traveling and I have never tired, sure is plasticaccia but still feeling solid. I have never felt the need in 4 years of having to buy a secondary battery although sometimes I had been all day on the road waiting until the evening to charge it. Always covered the whole day with a sensible use. Blast really non existent yes and No 7 shots in 4 seconds (in excellent light conditions with autofocus.) To learn the basics and start to love (and sometimes hate) photography was an excellent body-cover machine. Nikon has always done a great job with regards to the 3000 evenings and still is doing it. Thanks to this series with a modest price has given great satisfaction to those who have just entered the world of photography.

Pros: Size, weight, price, battery life, perfect for beginners, raw file lightness, ISO 100 details

Cons: Lack of a bit more advanced features, beyond 800 ISO files are virtually useless, burst. But for an entry level maybe we ask too much

Opinion: It was my first reflex and I found it really good, the size and the weight make you want to always bring it to your table for its ridiculous price to beginners, ergonomics is good and the battery lasts so hard. Lightweight files up to 800 ISO, but beyond the files are useless so it is not a night machine or dark places. Features like bracketing and bursting are really embarrassing but to start shooting it is fantastic straconsiglio.rnTi guide in Photography path and time you learn a lot of concepts. By the time you will reach its limits and you will understand if photography is your passion. RnOttima to travel, I brought it up to Japan and matched to a lightweight optic like the 50mm f / 1.8D seems to have not had it.rn

Pros: Lightweight and all in all not bad for a cheap band machine

Cons: Lightweight, better not venture beyond 800 iso

Opinion: Tried years ago for a trip where it would be uncomfortable to bring some films, captured me and made it into digital. RnI returned great pictures provided you did not go beyond 800 iso ... better still staying under 400 ... if the You know well you can do them almost everything ... and in the end there is not a big problem even the lack of coupling between meter and optics without CPU .... certainly not the corresponding digital EM .... but still a Nikon Which offered cheap access to the system

Pros: Weight, size, ergonomics, ease of use

Cons: Bracketing absence, almost non-existent flame

Opinion: It was my first digital reflex, the machine I learned to shoot (I came from the Nikon F75) and so I have a special memory of it that transcends photography itself. I think the right camera to move the first steps in the world of photography. It's easy to use, lightweight, practical, has the commands and basic functions for a beginner. RnTo guide you down to its limits to take you to look for all the semi-professional features of a top body machine, making it a matter of importance and knowing how to use it properly. RnThank you to all those who want to start the hobby of photography.

Pros: Dimensions, weight, intuitive, ergonomic

Cons: By now it is a bit antiquated and lacks the latest features. Do you suffer from noise at high ISO, burst.

Opinion: Faithful companion of trip, and very durable, the battery after several years fine again holds the carica.rnPer start is fine, has all the main functions and I've never had trouble setting the macchina.rnOgni sometimes you have to enter the menu which I find anyway chiaro.rnPenso who now are really cheap, so it is recommended for those on a budget but still looking out at the world of SLR and learn the basics.

Pros: excellent machine to start (quality / good price), fantastic grip, iso-diafr.-times rapidly manageable, robust and fantastic battery life.

Cons: high ISO noise, not stabilized, no bkt and slow autofocus (though considered the band in which it appears what more could you want ?????)

Opinion: It 'was my first machine, after many researches between canon and nikon she won. in kit taken with 18-105 vr who accompanied me everywhere. Up to 600 ISO performs well, after obviously shows the limits from entry level. The straconsiglio who is fasting in photography. At first it may seem complicated but with a little practice and study of the basics you learn a good 60%.

avatarjunior
sent on October 30, 2016

Pros: Size and weight, ease of use, battery life, excellent entry-level

Cons: For most of the settings you have to enter the menu, over 800 ISO takes an obvious noise, viewfinder pentamirror with poor coverage

Opinion: It was my first SLR, with whom I learned everything, although it is "old" six years ago still its job very well, is very simple to use and suitable for those who want to learn. One flaw is not just the presence of a single ring and a few selection buttons that force to enter the menu from the display to be able to modify certain parameters. It does not have a top of the range autofocus but behaves quite well, however, if coupled with a good lens gives good shots.

avatarjunior
sent on July 27, 2016

Pros: compact size, made general, battery life, many features despite being an entry-level.

Cons: It has no bracketing, or advanced features, the shutter speed does not go over 30 ", but honestly to learn it is an excellent investment.

Opinion: What can I say ... I came from the world bridge with a L100, with which I felt tight, I can not act on time and diaframma.rnQui I discovered the real world of photography and after years I still have not finished! rnSicuramente advice, over time, to procure some worthy goal. The 18-55 is flexible though not quite clear, and does not even have a great apertura.rnIo I am made a 10-20 and a 50mm and surprise, I am discovering the love more fixed targets! RnComunque the buy back 100 times! rnrnAdesso'm also experimenting with the objectives vintage, thanks to the adapter ring of the Lolli Adriano ..... beautiful.

Pros: Excellent machine, who begin taking pictures with digital.

Cons: Autofocus a little slower, using car must pay attention to the color casts.

Opinion: Now I use it for 4 years. This machine is an excellent compromise for those who began photographing and intends to become familiar with a digital SLR. I always used the zoom supplied 18-55, which actually is a bit 'disadvantageous for portraits. I am convinced that with a 35 mm, I 'm looking forward to buying it!, You can make excellent portraits.

Pros: Very small, lightweight, excellent ergonomics, durable, long battery life, commands fast enough, great value for money.

Cons: Autofocus little, small screen, viewfinder dark, average image quality, ISO in steps with a stop, unbalanced with objectives heavier, info screen blinding when you take photos at night.

Opinion: I have had this car for three years, used in any environment, from the half-day trips to intercontinental dall'astrofotografia fauna, used with fixed, paintings, even without lenses, for every experiment and in any lighting condition, replaced only because they were starting to get feel its limits. I must say that I have never had problems ... I missed some shots due to slow autofocus, someone else to slow to reconfigure the settings, but I have never betrayed beyond repair. rnUna thing that left me a bit 'bitter taste on the D3200 is that there have been many profound improvements: monitor, processor, image quality, bracketing, I autofocus (but I have not tested extensively) about the same price . Probably if I had to start the D3200 I would not have felt the need to change my little one.

Pros: Light almost pocket, economic, excellent starting point in the world of SLR, Battery Life

Cons: Burst, ring for shortcuts absent, a little 'cumbersome but intuitive

Opinion: A good reflex to start, definitely forces you to work a little 'to have good results, but overall is very low given the price of the new that of the used hard to get better, excellent battery life, very poor almost nonexistent gust, 14 megapixels are good but the fact of not having the nuts for shortcuts penalizes a little 'the choice of the line 3000 to the line of Nikon 5000 and 7000, however, a good car that teaches us to have patience and take the 'adequate time to take a good photo. Not recommended for use in sports and birdlife, Highly recommended for those who like to travel light and shoot videos are not great but still acceptable.

Pros: Lightweight, Intuitive, Economic, Piccola

Cons: Plasticky, ranges in which to vary the parameters very big, just a few buttons to control speed, gust (almost) non-existent

Opinion: I started taking pictures using this machine in a kit with the 18-55mm classic and I have to say that it gave me a lot of satisfaction even without too much effort. To travel light and not too much money in the neck is a great choice. Obviously I am going forward I started to feel it close and at the first opportunity, a few weeks ago, I changed my body and lens. The picture quality is good and it brings out in pp you can manage well many parameters. To give an example: I now have a D300s, machine even more old, but clearly superior to many points of view, and pulling up the shadows in dark areas often have the appearance of white spots. With the D3100 I never had this problem. There is, however, saying that just overexpose a little bit without burning your lights and you're done. In conclusion, if you want to start to hold an SLR D3100 is an ideal base from which you can always keep the body as traveling light.

Pros: Pros: Good battery life (after firmware upgrade), light, WB very good, build quality, ergonomics. Among the "pro" takes me also so many "against" (see below) that force you to study and take tests to get some good shooting. I speak of course amateurs and beginners like me, I see it in the galleries that there are excellent photographers who can get us out of great photos.

Cons: Cons: display resolution to say the least insufficient, targeted small and dark, no internal auto focus engine, missing bracketing, digital noise already present in 800 and almost insurmountable to 1600 ISO, dynamic range modest burst nonexistent.

Opinion: I bought the D3100 in 2011 to approach the world reflex, used beginning with the 18-105 kit (dark as the night but sharp and versatile) then replaced with 17-50 and 70-300 Tamron with whom I feel better . How secure am using the classic 35 and 50 f1.8. Good but, in my opinion, the best of 50mm 35mm working on this room, allowing ambientati beautiful portraits and street without having to raise the ISO. For portraits in the foreground go beyond 70mm. As mentioned, the poor quality of the display prevents in practice the use of Live View that would be very useful in some situations. Only on the computer screen you can not tell if the shot is successful or out of focus. Council to present right under contrasting lights as open up the shadows in post accentuates the noise. Consuming multiple exposures because of the absence of bracketing. Good choice for beginners when you exit this room today may make sense for those who want to enter the world of SLR with a very low budget thanks to the prices of used (is 200/250) RECITALBut do that by investing 4/500 are already cars like the D7000. If not today, to learn the first steps of photography, for your money, I would go on a good / excellent new compact.

Pros: light, handy, easy to use, excellent overall performance

Cons: noise above 800 ISO, dynamic range is not very high

Opinion: The use of two years now, is coupled to the 55-300vr 18-55 vr that, in addition to fixed targets like the 50mm 1.8. RNLA my first SLR, it is an excellent car in every sense. Lightweight case fits very well in the hands not great and helps reduce the overall weight to bear when I mount heavier targets. With the 50mm 1.8 is very precise, it returns a nice definition on the point in focus and one blurred delicate ..... rnI controls are easy to use both on the menu by buttons, above and at the back ... rnuniche flaws are the noise above ISO 800, and the difficulty of managing a scene with a high dynamic range .... eg with extreme backlight and scenes with high lights in the sky and sharp shadows .... rnma these problems are overcome, at least in part when knows better some technique pp rnih conclusion ... a great car for beginners and more, allowing you to spend a few pounds more on quality optics ...:-) rnrn

Pros: Price, ease of use, battery life.

Cons: Lack of functionality, poor display resolution, low noise at ISO average.

Opinion: 28come-focus etc.) rnLeggendo reviews around saying that this is against the "little importance" but I think it's very important, especially if you use the Live mode View.rnHo felt the lack of other features that are paid because of competitive price, in particular in burst mode maybe a little too low for many situations, a low sensitivity as 800 iso later cause noise, but especially for the lack of the mode Backtracking that for those who start to juggle exposures is a facilitation no small feat! rnNel complex is a good SLR for those who want to start, but I would advise you to invest 100 euro more to compensate with more advanced model deficiencies reported (resolution display and backtracking) rn

Pros: Quality / price ratio - Battery life - simple to use - small and lightweight

Cons: Viewfinder small - covering 95% - ISO sensitivity range in steps of 1 stop

Opinion: After using it for 2 years and be passed to the D7000 can be said to be satisfied. Used exclusively in M ??mode, the shutter speed, aperture and ISO sensitivity will change quickly and comfortably. Convenient for walking, especially in the mountains where 200 g less make the difference. The battery allows you to take all day and come home with doubt whether it is better to recharge it or not, as long as the display is not used continuously for 100 times to review the pictures. The shot to the viewfinder is too small, also because of the coverage to 95%, if not click through the live view and then using the sensor, you will find himself part of the image that was not included, and I consider this a matter to consider as I think other features should be put into the background if we want to buy a camera.

Pros: Quality / price ratio, ease of use, lightweight, battery.

Cons: Noise above 800 ISO, lack of autofocus, lack double ring, screen resolution.

Opinion: The use of two years, my first and for now still only reflex, really good quality in both materials for performance for entry-level. Great for those who do not have much experience in photography and looking for a product easy to use without spending much as the initial budget. Definitely does his good work and if combined with good quality lens provides the results of a good standard. Certainly then, when you have a little more experience might have limitations. However to be recommended to those who approach the world of photography.

Pros: Very good price in relation to quality machine, lightweight and not bulky.

Cons: Above ISO 800 shows some problems

Opinion: E 'was and still is my first SLR. A reliable machine for those taking their first steps in the world "reflex". In the management of the various shooting options is very simple allowing those taking their first steps approach is not too difficult. The integrated help system turns out to be very useful for those looking for information fast, accurate, intuitive to. Also good option shooting RAW that allows a PC to the next job for those who like to work in the post. I would recommend it to anyone looking to discover their own photographic ability. A greeting!

Pros: Great camera to start again, practical, easy to use, great value for money

Cons: No bracketing, manual lens with no light meter (M42), the limits of the ISO you can see, a few points of focus.

Opinion: I came from my old and beloved Zenit recovery to re-start snapping ......... a great camera to start; good potential and offers great satisfaction. The only flaw I found, the yield of green (landscapes), were a bit 'mixed as if they were blurred, a detail tralasciabile compared to the excellent quality of the photos that churns out.

Pros: Good value for money, lightweight and very easy to use

Cons: Does not hold good high ISO, up from 800 the trouble begins. Noise autofocus in video (really annoying)

Opinion: With this machine, I approached the world of photography, I am now two years since the operation and I must say it is a perfect entry level, I managed to make some good photos that I have met. It 'a guide directly on the camera which explains how to use it. Now I begin to feel the limits but absolutely do not regret buying it!

Pros: Price / quality (almost) unbeatable, lightweight and compact in dimensions.

Cons: Very low resolution LCD screen, noise from ISO 800 up, some uncertainty AF in low light, burst and non-existent "kneading" on long exposures.

Opinion: Even for me, as for many others, it was the first (and still the only) SLR and is still sold as a kit from some retailers. This is an entry level and weight, the construction, the quality of the LCD screen do understand right away. But it's good "school ship", as it lets find out a little at a time and, despite obvious limitations, it allows those experiments that make you want to grow and improve their technique. I use it with different lenses and I have not encountered problems with MAF or another ... some are not many 11 points and subjects with little contrast is a bit 'hard work, but for the price you pay you can not expect much ( maybe today is less competitive than a couple of years ago).

avatarjunior

Pros: Quality / price, light weight, easy to use, with a sense of good build quality

Cons: a lot of noise over 800 ISO in low light even at 400 ISO, burst almost non-existent, poor screen resolution

Opinion: It 'was and still is my first SLR camera body, between the positive things I say above that it seemed from the outset very sturdy, good as entry level and for those who approach the world of SLR for the first time, allows to do so many things and then it is very easy and intuitive, plus it is also very convenient to take on trips as it is compact and lightweight. However, being an entry level, is known as the best, come to the surface several shortcomings. First of all, 800 ISO the noise is quite noticeable and even at ISO 400 in low light there is a lot of noise so poorly suited to taking photos at night, by comparing the display with other products you will notice that it has a low resolution, you can never really understand how did the photo, the sensor cleaning does not do his duty, also the burst is virtually absent, only 3fps are really little. In conclusion I can say that the d3100 is a good entry level with all its limitations as entry level as it should be.

avatarsenior
sent on March 01, 2014

Pros: Price / quality, lightweight, compact, battery life, easy to use

Cons: over 800 ISO noise evident, definition display with too low to embarrassing levels compared to other camera bodies, only 11 points of focus, image quality is not comparable to those of the upper level. Lack bracketing and lack of auto focus in the camera body

Opinion: Bought in September 2012 when I decided to enter the world of SLR is the camera body that I still use now. The body weighs very little and is not cluttered at all convenient to carry around, the photo quality with fixed lenses arrive already at a very respectable considering what it costs. Regarding the ISO above 800 is definitely better not to climb the noise becomes too obvious. The display has a definition so low that I could not tell if the pictures are blurred or not ... Recommend to anyone who wants to enter the world of DSLR on a budget. As for me after a year and a half I start to feel "tight" ... although first of all I have to improve my kit lenses

Pros: Price, Very intuitive display indicative of the diaphragm with its schema, decent sharpness of the picture, long-lived battery.

Cons: Just a quick little burst of 3fps, very visible noise at ISO 1600, sensor cleaning is not working, always perceptible noise in video mode, ISO in steps of one stop without intermediate values.

Opinion: Great for people like me who wants to enter the world of photography, but gradually assumes that experience we encounter some limitations, high noise after ISO 800, and worst, the sensor cleaning will not work even if it is integrated. In fact, I often have problems with dirt sensor. However, in my opinion, is an excellent entry-level due to its intuitiveness and its ergonomics. With a lot of practice I was able to take photos worthy of a professional camera.

Pros: Price, Lightweight, Good Entry-Level

Cons: After passing the ISO 800 too much noise

Opinion: As entry-level quality / price, and is easy to handle excellent for beginners and approaches to photography. If you want something more professional you have to climb with price and expectations. That is how much it costs (I am fully satisfied, if I wanted something more powerful I spent more and took a D5200).

Cons: iso with no intermediate values, not in the fast 3fps shooting, the handy little button to adjust the iris

Opinion: a good car for ricomciare to shoot, made me regain confidence with photography, and has good ergonomics in general. precise with various goals they've used a flaw mancaza the autofocus on the machine, it returns the good quality of jpeg images. in my opinion good for static shots or with little movement, and not a true measurement of the exposure spot

Pros: for a newcomer like me, the built-in help is making a difference, and the price very affordable (since it is out of production you can find many offers also provided with objectives more interesting than usual 18-55 AF-S 18-105 AF see -S VR stabilized); lightweight and intuitive, in my opinion the best choice for a novice

Cons: In the specific case of my model the lens supplied by 18-55 AF-S is not stabilized so I had almost immediately need the tripod when shooting at shutter speeds above 1/15 sec, ISO 1600 is over already clearly visible noise; management of the Picture Control very limited

Opinion: I'm having so much fun with my camera in hand but I learn new things I notice the physical limits imposed by the machine, but having tried different tampo also for the Canon EOS 1100 I would advise people like me in the first starts from below 0 and then without any kind of conoscenta .... the Nikon is much more intuitive, clear and integrated GUIDE menu is very useful when all the letters appear only as gray spots;-PrnBuona Perspective to all

Cons: Lack infrared sensor for remote control, optical cost too high

Opinion: Machine unprofessional but that gives excellent soddisfazzioni on a personal level, as well as little more than a novice. The 'f has little but to start taking into account the good sale price I find a good car fits all ..... The market usually comes with a 18-55 lens, which for the first shots (but also in the future) makes photography quite. well any type of subject, the standard snapshot, the portrait until some macro, clearly to get better in the picture, it is essential to increase our camera kit adding new targets suitable for our needs.

Pros: Quality / price ratio, excellent raw files and jpeg, light, battery life, good up to 800 ISO (slightly less in 1600)

Cons: Incompatibility with optical ff, No flash commander, no infrared receiver

Opinion: I had the pleasure to start the picture with a great entry level of this caliber, weight and overhead, high image quality and the convenience sector Nikon. The only flaws are: 1) non-compatibility with the objectives of such industry's most advanced full-frame, in my case I bought a Nikon AF 50mm f/1.8 D used (a real blade sharpness), but the lens was compatible not auto focus (however I learned to work in manual mode, all the better in the end ...), 2) the absence of a built-in flash commander to command second flash (I had to buy a cable to remotarlo, therefore somewhat inconvenient) . RNLA highly recommend despite being released the new 3200 with 10 megapixels in most (not the mpx that make the difference in a photograph, at least not have to bet to elaborate murals). Great for all those who are curious to explore the wonderful world of photography and treat yourself great emotions through this body.

Pros: Excellent value for money. Very leggera.rnLunga battery life. Beautiful pictures with an external flash.

Cons: Already visible noise at 1600 iso. Low screen resolution. Only 11 points of focus. Only a command dial. Poor quality in photos at night using the built-in flash.

Opinion: It 'was my first SLR, with which I entered the world of fotografia.rnDirei that to begin to practice, is one of the best entry-level. The advice for those who does not understand photography and for those who want to start practicing. After 1 year of experience, I have now started to notice its limitations, as already visible noise at 1600 ISO, the presence of only 11 AF points, the low resolution of the screen with which I did not always have a clear idea of ??how it was coming the photo. Pictures taken at night with the built-in flash have always given me excellent results, but the use of an external flash professional I still did get good pictures for photo simple (in local festivals for example). Now made the necessary practice, I passed the professional use of full frame (going to the nikon d600), but it is still worthy to be my body spare machine in my photo shoots: D

Pros: Cost, lightweight, consumes very little battery also using a lot of flash

Cons: The door of the battery is very fragile, the instructions are too didactic, many things I have not understood. Missing bracket

Opinion: 3B ISO adjustable in 1/3 stop starting at 50 equivalent ISO, bracketing, external microphone jack, socket for power supply .. would be perfect!

Pros: Weight and dimensions (although it is quite petite ergonomic), decent quality up to ISO 1600, price.

Cons: Autofocus quite inaccurate, the ISO scale with intervals of a stop, a few controls immediate (in M mode you can still manage ISO, shutter speed and aperture with the single wheel in combination with the buttons), screen resolution and quality poor.

Opinion: I have this machine, which is my first SLR, for about a year and I think that a good entry level machine even if it has the "blame" for allowing me to choose Nikon because in the category I (rightly) deemed better than Canon . Today I might have not chosen the park Canon optics inherent nature photography (fortunately there are also lenses Sigma) while the body still prefer the black and yellow house. Currently I use it with satisfaction combined with a Nikon 300 f / 4 (often with the 1.4x TC), however, beginning to feel the limitations. I highly recommend it to those who must enter the world of DSLR, even preferring it to the latest D3200 (resolution too high and difficult to manage files for a beginner)

Pros: Good materials and lightweight instructions in the menu, excellent battery life.

Cons: The microphone captures the sound of autofocus in video, high cost of Nikon lenses.

Opinion: It 'was my first SLR and I can say that my experience was positive. In his hand he gave me a good feeling for the materials for both the camera body, the battery lasts a lot and I have not encountered any problems. The only drawback is the noise autofocus in video recording but do not know if the other cameras do. The picture quality is good for me, a beginner can be satisfied.

Pros: Low cost, lightweight, easy to work with raw, jpeg already good by machine.

Cons: 11-point AF (1 central cross), low-resolution display, and ISO 800 is hard.

Opinion: Overall, I think is a good car to start, keeping in mind the range and price. 14Mpx is a good compromise between detail and file processed, it is lightweight, intuitive and robust enough to be "plasticky". The only real flaw in my grave is a screen is low resolution, the 'AF is slow and has little but for that price range we can not expect too much. I recommend it.

Pros: The machine is good, I like it, good quality in jpg file ..

Cons: I do not know the purchased recently.

Opinion: I have a d3100 will not be a professional machine, I meet a lot, I'm a rookie in the field of photography, I'm very much passionate I am fascinated by the photographic world, photographer about anything from landscapes to portraits, I could use some other goal, but I do not know what to get I have only the supplied lens 18-55, I would like some advice, then another question, what should I do in the world of night, that aim to use!!

Pros: Value for money, good manageability, discrete sensor

Cons: Lack of autofocus in the camera body, lack of bracketing

Opinion: My first reflex. It is a thunderbolt of war but defended well especially if accompanied by accessories do not necessarily professional, I mean tripod and some filters delicious: night shots with time up to 30 sec. (Or even Bulb!) Noise reduction are very pleasant! The noise is content to say also 1600ISO (I shot the Aquarium of Livorno without the ability to use the flash and freehand in completely dark environments ... well you see my pictures with the lens 18-55VR included) . What makes them lose several points on the initial purchase is definitely the lens standard, not the height of the sensor! If you plan to purchase a long-term use, but go ahead affiancateci an AF-S) worthy in sharpness and overall quality as it can be a Nikkor 70-300VR (priced at approx 500caffè, compared to 150 in the 18-55VR) if nothing else you will have to thè fun in a variety of occasions! The functions in the room are different and remember the guide incorporated, even if in reality after some time of use more or less assiduous if it is really without! (He's done to fulfill its task on me? :) Finally, the ability to shoot in RAW for editing after computer advised not to use the processing RAW files directly in your room, which is possible but that returns JPEG "risky" . Good light at all! (It says so?)

Pros: Value for money - ergonomics of the camera: it is very light and, if necessary, you can really use with one hand - good quality and jpeg files ras products - compact and robust: I have already fallen several times (ahrrg) but not has a fold

Cons: not suitable at the click tracking: allows only 3 fps

Opinion: I think it's one of the best cars to enter the world of digital SLR photography (for once the promises of advertising turn out right) - for the record, has all three types of light meters (matrix - Semi-spot - and spot ) - certainly not great performance in burst shooting mode but you have to make do with S. Overall I am very happy for sure in a few years to replace it with a D7000 or evolution of that model but will always be my first digital SLR and still a machine with excellent performance, given its price

Pros: Value for '/ price, high quality' jpg,

Cons: iso setting without intermediate values ??(from 400 to 800 switches). lack of spot metering real (semi.spot)

Opinion: Up to 800 iso provides excellent file (jpg) - not suitable for 'hunting chase' (only 3 shots / sec and 11 points maf) - construction materials with loss. I do not regret the old d80, indeed. I never gave any problem (used with nikkor afs 300 + doubler), except for the battery cover and that 'dropped several times (out of the office).
