Pros: Price, bokeh, bright, portable

Cons: Nothing

Opinion: Bought after the 50ino for pure female portrait use, mounted on the Nikon D7500 makes me the function of the 135. Excellent for American planes and not only, put to the test I seem to have the older brother of the 50mm but "pushes" even more in terms of bokeh and sharpness. The weight / bulk is absolutely modest compared to other optics, as already noted although the focus is fast, sometimes it loses track on the minimum distance, but personally for the type of photo I do I can adapt quickly. Since I have the 50mm/85mm pairing during the shoots I let go of the multifocals, I often interchange the lenses perhaps too much, but being extremely light and versatile I prefer to take home photos in combos. The shots in raw with this lens are very well manageable in post thanks to their shine. Great price considering the quality and competition.

Pros: Lightweight, bright, sharp. Spectacular Bokeh.

Cons: Minimum focusing distance.

Opinion: Mounted on Nikon D600: wonderful lens, light, bright, sharp. Af rather quick. Definitely excellent value for money. Very good construction. The minimum focusing distance can sometimes be uncomfortable in some situations and suffers slightly from chromatic aberrations, a defect that can be easily solved in post production. Tropicalized, compact, with a filter diameter of 67mm. In the second-hand market it is quietly found at 300 euros as new. Very satisfied.

Pros: value for money, IQ

Cons: aberrations

Opinion: An engraved optics, of great quality from edge to edge, and at all openings. The cost is low and worth all the money it costs. The only mole, it suffers abundantly from aberrations, which are not always easy to remove. Used with D3, D800, D750 and on all has always given its best. It may have a more performing AF engine, but in general all 85s don't have an extraordinary AF speed.

Pros: spectacular result

Cons: unsteadied, minimum focus distance

Opinion: Spectacular, mounted on a miserable D3200 makes its filth figure and the photos come out to a pro level, it is difficult to miss the shot with such an optics. The value for money is really crazy, at 1.8g has a bokeh that is frighteningly beautiful, sharp, raw photos already come out already beautiful, a pass in the raw room and come out of the masterpieces, slow to have to have to kit

Pros: Excellent not only for portraits but also as medium bright canvas.

Cons: absolutely nothing

Opinion: After a few thousand shots, I can describe this excellent indeed excellent goal. Its scope of use on FX is intended for portraits, but not exclusively because it has a great rendering of detail when used as an average canvas. Used on APS-C (DX) it becomes a canvas, comparable to a 135mm, very bright given its opening f/1.8. In this case, even in view of the relative minimum distance of MAF (0.8m) it is well used to take detailed details. It must be said, moreover, that it is as tropicalized as the whole series (24,28,35,50 and 85) of which it is part. In practice it can be used in all climatic conditions and does not contribute to the injection of dust/humidity towards the camera sensor. The price is very affordable, although lately I see that it has risen significantly. Goal to be seriously considered.

Pros: Light, bright, crisp

Cons: For now, nothing

Opinion: Bought a few hours ago, so I reserve the right to add future impressions. Incredibly sharp already at 1.8, brought to 2.8 becomes a razor. In very good light conditions the af is a sniper, but I have not yet got to test it in poorer light situations, and, anyway, the af module of the d600 is certainly not lightning

Pros: All

Cons: I can't find any

Opinion: It's an optics monster with any machine body. I tried it with lots of bodies, even the Nikon 1!!! and he always takes great photos! Considering the price, I find both Nikon's lens with the absolute best quality (without looking at 85 and 105 version 1.4 that cost 4/5 times as much). The only negative note is that you can't photograph anything closer than 90 cm and this makes it mandatory to keep the subject always away, whether human or landscape. Let's face it: buying it used with 300 euros you will have a PROFESSIONAL tool to try to express your creativity. I also did a review on youtube for this lens and I didn't change my mind: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBGLtmmN-iQ

Pros: Image quality, blurry, lightness, size.

Cons: Minimum focus distance

Opinion: I find it hallucinating that this lens costs so little, I used it a lot and it has always given me beautiful images, the bokeh and the blur are fantastic and it is very usable at 1.8, vignette a little but I like it, the weight seems like a joke, when it arrived I thought they sent me the empty box. On the negative side surely the minimum distance of focus and a little suffering in the light, but not too much, if it did not have these things the 1.4 would not make sense to exist.

Pros: Light, sharp enough already at f1.8

Cons: Some aberration

Opinion: Good lens paid 430 new(nital). For this price you can not find better. I read, and not so bulky. It's fine to start making good portraits. If you want something special you have to orient yourself on a f1.4 (maybe a Sigma Art) but you go up a lot in price. I use it on d750 and at the moment I am satisfied. Vote 9

Pros: Lightness, construction

Cons: Sharpness with TA diaphragm up to 2.5, unacceptable chromatic aberration

Opinion: I have longed for this lens especially in the face of what I read by reviewers who own it. I honestly didn't know if it was a joke on Nikon's part or if it was serious. I'd rather think it's a joke. Sharpness is barely acceptable from at least 2.5 diaphragm, at TA is an abominable thing. Above that value it just becomes acceptable. The 35 G 1.8 DX, an economic lens that I have been holding for years is another story... Embarrassing chromatic aberrations! Vote 0

Pros: resolution, weight, price

Cons: color rendering

Opinion: Optically it has a great potential, resolution and high-level blur, I sold it for a simple reason: the color rendering has never convinced me, too far from the warm portrait yields typical of afd or zeiss. for those looking for warm tones, it is better to focus on the DC or AFD used with better results, of course if you do not use filters and Hollywood postproducts like me, if you spend more time on photoshop that with the camera in hand probably one is worth the other). rnFocus shift too high from 1.8 to 2.8

Pros: Bokeh, sharpness, lightness, price

Cons: Essentially nothing

Opinion: I use it on the FF, is very clear already at full aperture, has a very soft focus that even diaphragm remains mellow. It 'a very recommendable lens that really makes a' must have 'because, used on the portrait, allows you to shoot very sharp subjects that detach in a clean way from the bottom. It is so clear at f1.8 that all in all it would not need the diaphragm if not to get that little bit more depth of field that is needed for the shots. For those who, like me, mainly use 'pro' zoom ranging from focal lengths 24 to 200 f2, it may seem redundant to own this lens too, in reality it is essential for portraiture; its lightness, the speed of the AFS and the small size make it very easy and quick to use, also has a convenient price, especially if you find it used. VOTE 9.5.

Pros: Bokeh, sharpness, weight, price

Cons: My exemplar suffered from a correct front focus in the car at +16

Opinion: It is read here and there some purists who find the sharpness of this "soft" TA. I have only fixed a certain level and the clarity of this 85 to f / 1.8 is OVERALL for any application, if then the purpose is to compare mtfs for purely academic purposes then there is better.rnSi 24mpx of my full frame is perfect, three-dimensional with a remarkable and creamy bokeh that is overcome by a few other optics (like the 180 f / 2.8 I even own). Look not to confuse purple fringing with a wrong calibration of af: I refined with a +16 and the problem disappeared. Weighs nothing, it's in your pocket. Great completion for those who have a quality 35: with these two in "pocket" you can face almost everything. The ridiculous PDC requires a very precise focus, from the very close with the eye to focus and subjected to 45 degrees the nose is already blur. Having paid for my new 430 euro I really can not understand what can offer brother 1.4 which costs a thousand euros inplus: certainly not the jump in brightness nor the general quality (even that is plastic ...). A must have. Warning: Before talking about chromatic aberrations and fringing (or fingering .... ahahahah) calibrate the autofocus !!!

Pros: Small, lightweight, filter diameter, very sharp, great optic especially when coupled to FF, minimal distortions

Cons: It does not scratch in scenes with little light you feel the need

Opinion: Beautiful optics, inspiring especially to get impatient in street or composite portraits! Lightweight and compact you bring it around, sharp and fairly good! Too bad for the lack of VR that FF does not feel so much, they raise the ISO and beasta, on apsc instead it is harder to use! Quality cost ratio is very good! I sincerely appreciate the plastic construction because it reduces the weight to a few hundred grams and makes it easily transportable in a backpack, always in the church if, like me, made so many mountain hikes!

Pros: Good price for performance. Tropicalized. Very good field depth. Net depth of field.

Cons: Makes curious about brother f1.4.

Opinion: A good optic would say. F1.8 at high magnifications are visible traces of aberration in the contours but also in this lens is resolved at the next stop. The best yield between incisiveness in the foreground and blurred place at f2.8. At f 3.5 I would say that it is already at the maximum of sharpness. Closed diaphragm degradation is quite contained. Sharpness is almost excessive in the portrait but can be solved by lowering the machine's sharpness at the same time, and at the same time you can appreciate it for glimpses of landscapes or more naturalistic images.

Pros: Weight & dimensions, Sharp, Defocused, Fast and accurate Af, Tropicalization, Excellent full-aperture, Backlight Resistance, Great Contrast, Quality-Price Report, New Price, Materials, 67mm Filter provided.

Cons: None

Opinion: Used with the D7200, it delivers great photos with a good three-dimensionality. Blurry is great. The colors are very pleasing and creamy, so do not tire over time. The hood makes its worthy work especially during the day when the sun is difficult to interpret (windows, asphalt, glazed windows). The quality of the materials, for some can be plastic, for me is not a problem, because it saves on the weight mostly used all day off. Never tried on FF, so I can not describe the merits or defects because I have no direct experience. On DX I would advise you if you want to save, especially because of your older brother f / 1.4. I did not encounter front or back focus problems at least on my specimen. Voting 10.

Pros: Compact, lightweight, definition.

Cons: none

Opinion: A lens really very beautiful, clear focus, defined at all apertures purchased used I tried it on the d800 shows off the best of them defining splitting hairs very enhances the performance of the machine, used on d7000 become longer but for portrait and the architecture is truly a bonba.rnNon can speak highly enough of this lens considered among the best in production (for some it is even better than the big brother from 1.4) the material used is probably not at the top of Nikon, but benefit weight and price.

Pros: lightweight, compact, sharpness, versatile (in my case)

Cons: Plasticky (why is light)

Opinion: Call it "plasticky" I do not know if it's a real "against" is perhaps for this reason we can say that is lightweight? Purchased again about three months ago, after having had the opportunity to try a sample for a period of about 1 settimana.rnSinceramente not known chromatic aberrations to 1.8, I do not have the technical / scientific appropriate tools needed to detect, so support this. Chromatic aberrations can often be caused by more or less efficient sensors, sometimes watching certain images on a monitor not quite live can determine this "defect" RNLA thing that excites me in this lens is the homogeneity of the blur obtained at 2 meters (and beyond) distance sensor-subject plane, what you would expect to obtain the minimum focus distance permitted by this point (1 meter) rnSpesso the use with extension tubes in order to go well well that meter of which mention is made above, the quality & agrAve; optics of this lens is really very very good so it's worth experimenting on other photographic genres, only for the purpose for which it was designed, and they are costruito.rnRitengo € 500,00 well spent, it's worth it in the backpack. rnrn

Pros: Sharp already to 1.8, weight, bokeh.

Cons: AF is not Formula 1, AC.

Opinion: From the very first tests done I can say with confidence that this is a great great great obiettivo.rnNitido (much) to 1.8, blurred mellow, classic AC present but which are eliminated with a click. The thing that has left so "open-mouthed to me" is the fact that it has no problems with the side maf points of D3, indeed, with any of the 51 AF points (seems the 180 AFD !!!). RnL'af not is lightning (I knew very well) as the D version using the engine of reflex.rnLa my biggest "fear"? Closed shadows that churn the G lenses (I had a 35 1.8 G for FX that closed the great) ... but I had to change my mind because this 85 is not as "bad" in this respect, indeed, it is very "gentle" and for those who make portraiture is a plus not just.

Pros: Focal, medium weight and made from 2.5 onwards

Cons: chromatic aberrations HEAVY AND ANNOYING. All plastic. high price to performance and overall quality. Fingering annoying even at small aperture. Unusable because of these flaws to f 3.5 then improves.

Opinion: I waited quite a while before writing this review from BAD JUDGEMENT. A view which costs a blunder for the quality that Nikon has accustomed us. I have had two since the first model I thought was bad, I realized that the second model confirmed the negative sides of this light. Annoying aberrations that make the lens unusable professionally. Backlit or otherwise in the presence of strong light (even side) loses contrast and definition embarrassingly. And to say that the previous owner had paid 500 Euros !! In the studio, closed-F8 is not as sharp as I expected ... In one word: a ciofeche. Rating: 3

Pros: Crisp, light, price, light weight, compactness

Cons: construction materials, aberrations

Opinion: A good portrait lens, sharp enough even at f1.8, a lens to have in the makeup of an amateur photographer, gives a lot of satisfaction in relation to the low price at which you can find especially in used. The main drawbacks of this objective are primarily the aberrations at full aperture that force almost always move from post production to correct them. The materials are a little poor, but plastics are to the advantage of lightness. The bokeh is really nice. In short, a classic to have in the kit Nikon or at least to try.

avatarjunior

Pros: Crisp, light and not too expensive

Cons: Chromatic Aberrations too strong and nervous bokeh

Opinion: Premise I'm a photo amateur not a professional. I decided to switch from the Samyang F 1.4 manual focus to this, precisely because of the need for autofocus. I lost 2/3 to stop but I gained in usability and weight. To focus with the Samyang at full aperture is difficult, and for the use I do it made me lose a few shots too. The sharpness is equal to the Samyang at the most open apers (which is very very sharp when it centers the fire), while at the more closed diaphragms it is better than the Samyang (I mean from F 8/11 up). The Nikon is lighter and this for me is only an advantage over the Samyang (as everyone says is plasticious but I sincerely prefer, so there is less weight). The Samy is a little softer in the bokeh than the Nikon is too nervous! The chromatic aberrations are too obvious. -Update I replaced it with the D version in which I found everything I was looking for: colors/bokeh/shadows Open, autofocus faster (although noisier) and chromatic aberrations significantly lower.

Pros: Value for money; blurred; sharpness; maneuverability

Cons: Nothing important, if not for professional use

Opinion: Let's say for an amateur photographer at these prices you can not really have anything better, excellent quality, crisp, very light and portable, some a bit plasticky counter as a material, but they are details ... rnAutofocus a little loupe especially in low light and a little too soft at room temperature, but the blur is magnificent ... rnSecondo me for a photo-amateur or enthusiast does not make sense, if not for professional reasons, have the f1.4 version. rnDi far better of the D series, I tried to indecision before 'acquisto.rnPienamente satisfied!

Pros: Great value for money, sharpness already TA with blurred beautiful, tropicalized, fast and accurate AF.

Cons: Nothing.

Opinion: well-built, lighter lens with AF fast and sharpness at the top; I think one of the best solutions as a target for portraiture (and beyond). Some complain of "feeling plasticky", having perhaps reminiscences type Moplen and other plastics of the 50 -60; perhaps are the same as that in the case of optical assembled metal, complain of the weight of the same and those who do not know that even flak jackets are constructed with polymers which is Kevlar ...

Opinion: Bought yesterday morning and made some quick test: sharpness, color, bokeh, distortion, vignetting: perfetto.rnÈ is all well built and feels that it's important perspective: fast setup, accurate focusing, and is the first evidence that I Indeed, worried that it might have trouble front / back focus.La made in relation to the cost and above all in relation to the cost of big brother F 1.4 is nothing short of amazing: crystal clear already at full aperture, becomes the classic blade just the diaphragm is a po'.rnDa tests performed on the net is in some cases even slightly better than his brother more costoso.rnAppena mounted, it was love at first sight and frankly the price which accompany it, I think it's maybe the best Nikon optics. rnIl top would have the stabilizer, but insist at this price and with these performances, it would really ask troppo.rnAncora once Brava, Nikon!

Pros: As a whole, all.

Cons: The usual nervous effect, characteristic of the new Nikon lenses not treated with N technology (low resistance to high lights). It should definitely be calibrated: on several occasions suffering from 'squint' harassing!

Opinion: A beautiful object. And 'as if it was a taste of what it would feel with the 1.4G, but with all the differences of the case. It 'really a bell'acquisto, as it lends a little' for all uses other than the pure portraiture. I took alongside all times should focus when focus automatically, and when I want a silky performance and less vitreous my ais f2 (superb). I have already written all over this lens, so I do not add reps. Remarked only the quality / excellent price. Finally, let me say a few positive words about the constructive question: I share the Nikon political weight reduction (... but not the costs!) Of its products, as the most widely complained of customers concerned on this factor. The fact that these new G lenses are minimal and light does nothing but benefit wrists and shoulders, after full days walking with the camera on the back. In the specific case of this 85, in weigh it in hand, it seems to be ragionevolmente consistent. But when you aggangia to the camera body, perhaps, it seems to resonate as 'empty' (a chilling feeling!). However, disdaining the so-called 'plastic' in the years 2010 (remember that the interior trim of the Rolls Royce, or Bentley are plastic, as well as all the others) seems to me more of a trend to be heard, rather than a real consideration. Puttosto would say that to make a difference is the assembly precision of the parts, that in this and in other cases (Nikon) I rate excellent. Fortunately, the focus ring turns smoothly and without play (unlike my 35 f1.8 DX).

Pros: Yield bokeh AF speed, weight and size

Cons: maybe I think about it I find something .. but .. quibbles would type the distance of MAF? bah .. I do not know

Opinion: I'm not a portraitist, but when I mount do not want to do anything else. Beautiful. She was always amazed by the yield, for as your subject apart from the background .. for ease of use. Honestly is part of my trio perfect and I do not think I ever take it off !!! got used costs a pittance, now it is less than 300 Euros when it is worth much more. In Nphotography it was 1.4 compared to big brother, and with respect to the price wins sharply (and they would lose about 1200 euro a piece suggesting this).

Pros: Excellent performance already at full aperture, beautiful portraits in fuzzy fairytale

Cons: A little too much plastic

Opinion: I own several focal this fixed I was missing for a portrait would say it is unthinkable not to have such a box, plus coupled to my D810 yield is superb, the MF at the beginning is a bit difficult for those not used to this kind of optics but after some shots you immediately understand what he is made of the Council. The only flaw a bit too much plastic

avatarjunior

Pros: Extreme sharpness, reliability

Cons: AF scandalously slow, materials

Opinion: It's definitely the best buy of portrait lenses, with about 500 euros you bring home a new nip that, optically, sounds much more expensive glasses. The construction is modest, we talk about the usual cheap plastic, but the assembly is still very good. However, the weight is minimal, it can also be carried in your pocket. The minimum focusing distance is 5 cm lower than that of the 1.4G brother, and that is a good thing. Performance is superb even at TA, and except for the 1.4G (I also have that in the house), it severely matches all the goals you can compare. Double blind at my house made a bad figure at Zeiss, and even the high-profile Nikon AFD 85 f 1.4 did not come out any good. Indeed, the latter was a real disappointment, it just does not want to be creamy when sharpness and resolution are fading ... The AF (when fine calibration is carried out, which I consider absolutely necessary on all optics50 mm up) is very precise but extremely slow, say we are on the Nikon AFS 50 f 1.4 levels. COnclusions: all-round optics, it's an absolute blade, but capable of turning a bokeh that is good enough to be attached to the Nikon 36mmxl connector! Voting 10, and what else? NOTICE: The writer is not an influencer or a guru, nor does one who downloads other images from the network to impersonate unlikely comparisons. For almost forty years, a passionate nikonist of photography and photographic material has been, and my opinion is not a gospel, but only the result of empirical experience. The objects I write really buy them, I play a few months and if I do not like them, but always and in any case of material at the moment in my possession. I do not make the copy paste of reviews taken here and there on the net, if I'm talking about an item it's just and because I had in the house the time it took (at least months) to try to figure it out. I often go against current but this does not meit takes away as much as possible I try to help young aspiring photographers who give a weight to their savings. But, I repeat, I do not bring the verb ...

Pros: always crystal clear, great focus, resistance against the light, light

Cons: plasticky like all G, AF lightning

Opinion: 85mm This surprised me for its quality, always crystal clear, already at full aperture and, above all, at all distances. I say this because before I had a 85mm / 1.8 AI maf manual, a real gem, but this was only in the neighboring, infinity was just okay. Produces beautiful images, in both portrait in paesaggio.Assieme to 35mm / 1.8 G form a coupled formidable.

Pros: Exceptional sharpness, perfectly usable even at full aperture, quality focus, excellent contrast, accurate focusing, light, not too expensive

Cons: Longitudinal chromatic aberration at wide apertures, poor resistance to flare

Opinion: A lens from portrait really fantastic, perfectly holds the sensor resolution of the D800. For best results it is absolutely perfect close to f / 2.2, but already at full aperture is really good. The focus will not miss a beat. It is a lens so good that I do not know what to add. rnGli only flaws are the longitudinal chromatic aberration (which unfortunately is present in almost all fixed very bright) and little resistance to flare, which however is offset easily by using the lens hood. In addition to the lens hood it is included a soft bag for transport. The minimum focusing distance has never been a problem for my use, and in any case is in line with the competition - ALL 85mm Canon or Nikon's recent production have at least 80 cm of minimum distance of focus, the Canon 85 1.2 has even 95 cm and no one complains ...

Pros: Sharpness, Price, Value for Money, Colour Rendering, Dimensions and Weight

Cons: Building

Opinion: A good compromise has pure clarity but fuzzy not extraordinary, the right coast and offers the right. As usual we are facing the usual plasticaccia Nikon, but at least it does not cost 2000 euro ... And 'tropical conditions and weighs little, a great travel partner. Ultimately certainly recommended, except that with a couple of hundred bucks more we bring home the wonder of 85, the 1.4D. Between the two there is no race if not in terms of sharpness at the edges: here always depends on how you will use the 85; to use more generic recommend this 1.8G, for portraiture extreme the 1.4D.

Opinion: A pity that this lack of objective vr, also because it is used by me on a DX format, which leads him to almost 128mm, forcing to raise the ISO to shoot at an appropriate time; fast focus; good sharpness, chroma, blurred. I hope I can try it as soon as possible on FF: what we read should give you great satisfaction!

Pros: Quality, material, weight, distortion, sharpness, bright, blurred, tropicalization

Cons: Chromatic aberration in TA, dist. MAF, focus on asking the right training

Opinion: I think that this purchase has really changed the way of photographing portraiture. Really spectacular and bright that allows me shots in critical situations while maintaining excellent quality. Excellent sharpness and blur effect with a considerable depth. Too bad for chromatic aberrations in TA but still recoverable. Excellent quality / price as a whole new set G.rnSu dx do more effort to make portraits that convince me while on FF feel its strengths.

Pros: overall optical quality, reduced weight and footprint

Cons: apparently leggerina construction, typical of recent goals nikon G series

Opinion: In my opinion it is a lens that is a true champion, with an excellent quality / price ratio. The overall optical quality is truly remarkable in every respect, including the yield of focus and backlighting. How many optical G-series is made of materials very different from those of the nikkor one time or the current zeiss zf, but this does not affect the solidity and robustness, as well as the privilege lightly. Recommend to all who do not really need nikonisti aperture f 1.4.

Pros: Exemplary clarity at all apertures, fuzzy creamy among the best, sublime colors, MAF fast and precise dimensions and minimum weight for the type of optical

Cons: Definitely the minimum distance of focus: 80cm!

Opinion: It's not my favorite focal length but the lens is. This 85mm has very little to envy the big brother 1.4, taking into account that costs less than half the coast and in used almost 1/3. The sharpness is impressive for TA to remain as it closes the diaphragm, MAF fast and accurate that does not miss a beat, sensational colors, creamy blurred between the absolute best bokeh fabulous, small footprint to a minimum to be a mediotele from definitely professional quality. View of luxury at an affordable price. Also on DX performs well but gets a little 'lunghini with its 127.5 mm effective. The only drawback minimum distance of focus: with its 80cm would preclude many situations more close-ups of details, close-ups, especially etc.rnConsigliatissimo on FX.

Pros: extremely bright, blurred beautiful creamy, light and compact in shape at best, really pleasant to the touch and sight.

Cons: price is not too cheap, the rest I do not know

Opinion: with the three-dimensional look that gives the shots especially in portraits or in the life style is awesome, one of my favorite lenses, I do enjoy it a lot, I had caught the eye as soon as I had imagined suffered his brilliant performance in the portraits, but after the first step in love at first sight .. nothing to envy his brother F1.4.rnLo highly recommend for those who love the portraits, even in full-bodied, and Street life.rnAdoro it in your hand and look at it, it looks like a toy.

Pros: Brightness, sharpness

Cons: Nothing to say.

Opinion: I tried it on Nikon D7100 in low light horrible (poor and from above as a cut) and the combination machine lens seemed exceptional. Maybe even too sharp so that some of the first floor I had to soften the image has in post production. was the first time I used a fixed lens and I found it a bit 'in trouble, then I could appreciate the fantastic blur and sharpness of the first piano.rnAnche croppoando bad images are obtained by the screen very valid.

Pros: Clear but with great focus,

Cons: It seems a little leggerino .. I thought the box was empty ... hopefully not as fragile.

Opinion: Beautiful lens, to make better, especially if the subject is close is necessary to make a regulation of af fino.rnlo blurred backgrounds that melts them is a pleasure without stifling tonal passage, so, those are really three-dimensional effect without that a little milky old style. I have not tried landscapes but if I so much as we also qui.rnPer curiosity as well as on fx right and I tried on the size cx .. a nice 230mm 1.8 but still well etched to make the same shot is retracted too cutout cx and you lose the blurry .. but sin is the law.

Pros: Blurred exceptional, creamy and beautiful, very high sharpness already at f2; MAF fast.

Cons: Chromatic aberration at room temperature, in a bit soft f1, 8.

Opinion: After trying the version f1, 8 D, which I was not fully convinced because of the bokeh a little too hard, I opted for the new version G: I was literally speechless! I had never seen one so creamy bokeh! Really outstanding, similar to that of the big brother f1, 4. Very high sharpness suffers a bit of CA wide open but correctable in post. A tad soft f1, f2 closing at 8 but is already looking sharp and contrasted. Highly recommended for those who need a view from portrait and does not want to spend a fortune. Worth much more than it costs.

Pros: Sharpness at room temperature (on DX), light, blurred

Cons: Strong aberration at room temperature, too soft at room temperature on FX

Opinion: Tested on D7000 and D5100 and I was amazed by the extraordinary sharpness at f / 1.8 in this vein. Less happy aberration, which I found very marked from the start. These disappear from f / 4.5 up. The body is compact and lightweight but at the same time sturdy. Tried on D800, but is extremely soft at f / 1.8 and just f / 5 you can get a clear picture, but lost it totally blurred the objective is able to give of DX. It 's really the best lens instead of the 1.4 brother. Great for those who want to take the portrait photography without spending a fortune.

Pros: focus, sharpness and color at the top.

Cons: perhaps the minimum distance of focus is 85 cm nn is the maximum.

Opinion: The Nikon AF-S 85mm f/1.8 G - is truly a masterpiece, the lord of ambient light portraits, gives sharp images at the same time delicate in their passages between launching station fuoce area and out of focus, the quality is clearly visible wide open with a creamy blurred and inimitable, closing only seems to increase the depth of field ... the colors are rich and full-bodied, but not too saturated, perfect for the complexion. the focus is quiet and fast enough for the required use. the barrel is well built and sturdy at the same time light and practical, really picevole shoot. the edges not being eroded and a lens to be so specific is a good result. the major limitation is the distance of focus of 85cm ... certainly not a record, on full frame you can not isolate only the face, but just a slight crop and the game is done, on APSC is longish, and is used mostly for tight portraits. highly recommended to ritrattisi.
