Pros: In terms of sharpness at diaphragms a little closed is at the highest levels and even open it copes well. Easy to use and hardly misses a shot, general rendering very good and balanced without even an obvious defect. Quality to the touch more than valid, rubber gasket around bayonet.

Cons: Average blurred quality, but more than adequate to the lens class

Opinion: Used on d750, the best fixed for quality price, a real f1.8 that knows how to give excellent shots. Taken to replace the D, with whom it has never been love, it is an improvement from almost all points of view and is worth by far that few extra money. Compared to high-end lenses it holds its own for maximum sharpness (and often beats them too), obviously sharpness from open and blurred and do not create the same magic with every shot but often goes close to it. At close distances, at which it is optimized, it is however remarkable even at full aperture and I have shots that are the envy of the 85 1.4 G. Personally I use it little in favor of other fixed that cost from 3 to 10 times as much and that return a greater three-dimensionality especially because of a better managed fire-out of focus transition, but this remains a valid alternative to go light while maintaining a high quality spending very little. If you think that the only 50mm AF really more performance is the sigma art... In addition, the hood can be left at home as the lens is already quite protected of its own, as well as resisting even against the backlight quite well. Very good build quality for the lens class, except for the feeling of the focus ring which is a bit rough.

Pros: Af, construction, colors details, compact, lightweight, blurred, backlight, cost, etc. (just see the photos it takes).

Cons: For a use travel reportage, landscape, food and details in general, nothing to say (personal opinion given the uses I make of it). For pro use I do not express myself and I leave the floor to the experts.

Opinion: As I said in the cons (use - travel reportage, etc.) it is phenomenal with Nikon D7200. In the pros I have said everything so I do not dwell too much, I would risk saying things said by others. Recommended and rating 10. PS. I also own Nikon 50 af.d f/1.8 which I use for other purposes. The comparison between the two cannot be made given the difference. Two different objectives with different character.

Pros: Lightweight, optical quality

Cons: not stabilized

Opinion: I have this lens for a few years and I mount it on the D7500, I wanted to use it for portraits because it is equivalent to a focal length of 75 mm that with open apertures gives me an excellent bokeh, but the reality is that the focus is difficult and even with fast times I can not have decent results in the portrait. So x me is bad. Then on tripod and self-timer I raise my hands, it's fine because the optical scheme is tested, nothing to say, but x the use I wanted to do I do not see it well. It would be the case x Nikon to start working seriously, otherwise they all leave on sony. Then they have to decide whether to carry on the SLR system or not, for the aps-c that are an excellent compromise (I like my D7500) they do not produce optics, what to say. These market strategies no longer satisfy me. Returning to 50 mm, lacks stabilization, peace

Pros: Very light, quite compact, used price, fast autofocus, colors, blurry, perfect hood and pleasant to put / remove.

Cons: A soft hair at TA ... it's not a Sigma Art, but it also costs 1/4.... improves from f/2

Opinion: Goal that I liked immediately for its PROS. Price of used... and above all you can see that the yield is that of a fixed lens. The autofocus is precise and moves quickly, quietly and pleasantly. I bought it more out of curiosity than out of necessity but if you like the fixed 50, this is absolutely recommended!

Pros: Great lens, phenomenal yield, minimal cost

Cons: nobody

Opinion: It is one of the 4 fixed lenses that I use daily (along with 20 2.8 D, 85 1.8 D and 180 non-D). Mine is the G version for Zf, but only the external aesthetics change, for the rest it is an exceptional optics that has made many of those who took me for the bottoms when they saw that I was shooting with this lens and discovered that it is the 50ino ... that years ago in photographic circles was considered one of the 3 sunday amateur photo lenses. Quick and silent focus, the early days I hardly noticed that it had focused. I did almost full photo sessions with him. Taken used but practically new at a very honorable figure, a detail that I really like is the hood that is grafted without having to screw it.

Pros: Bokeh effect, weight, brightness, preZZo

Cons: It's a 50 and some of it raises its nose,

Opinion: Wanting to spend little I had bought the Yongnuo 50mm, "I will almost never use it", I told myself. Instead I was wrong, lasted very little made in Shenzen, I thought well to move on to the nikon house, just so as not to patch. Mounted on a Nikon7500, the 50mm becomes a 75mm, so at this focal point it turns into a nice game for portraits and thanks to the bokeh effect, even more accentuated than the predecessor, it allows you to make excellent portraits in poor light conditions, or in any case use it in full or "American" without compromise. Really unbeatable price for the quality of the object: with a little desire it is found in several sites at prices almost used, but instead "brand new". Don't have it in your bag, it's a crime.

Pros: Sharpness, lightness, cost, etc. etc.

Cons: If you like the 50mm it won't disappoint you

Opinion: I had it for about a month, I already have the 50 F1.8 AF with which in particular situations I found myself well. I came into possession of it by chance (friend who sold everything off;), so I decided to take it to possibly replace the old AF by looking for something sharper with open diaphragms. It is sharp and very fast in focus and silent, it is light, in short, what more to want from a goal? nothing. The 50 g is a normal lens (in all senses) what is missing is just a bit of character... the AF (which I still have) in the backlights makes a very particular blurry closed by F5.6 practically equals the G (which however is more contrasted while the autofocus instead has the most open shadows) so in the end I decided to keep the noisy one, not sharp with open diaphragms but with the fairytale blurr and sell the "best". If I had a full frame I would most likely have kept it for light releases as a handyman but on apsc I opted for sale, still keeping the old 50 F1.8 AF.

Pros: light, crisp, beautiful blurry effect, in short, a small jewel

Cons: little, certainly very little and I have yet to find out

Opinion: Small and cheap but that from great satisfactions. Until a few months ago I had the Canon 6D MKII with the 50 f/1.8 STM, well returning to Nikon gave me unexpected satisfactions. I couldn't speak ill of Canon, with whom trying about ten machine bodies I could learn and take remarkable shots, but with Nikon D610 and this lens I am definitely better. Interesting portraits, soft blurry even with maximum opening, definitely recommended

Pros: Great bokeh effect, not excessive weight and size, sharp images, price on used

Cons: Don't have it in your bag

Opinion: For portrait painters this lens is a must. I also made portraits with 35 mm but the results with 50 mm are quite different simply for the bokeh effect: on the latter the yield is much better. Let's not forget that it goes up to 1.8 opening and that if mounted on APS-C it becomes a 75 mm, so it is also great for night at medium-long distance. As for the price, if you decide to take it used, there are good chances of saving compared to the new one.

Pros: Great value for performance, pleasant bokeh

Cons: TA lacks detail compared to more expensive lenses

Opinion: I purchased this lens in December 2016, along with my first body machine, a D610. I used it until 2020 (later I changed brands) and objectively I can only talk about it well, excellent lens, good detail, non-excessive aberrations, certainly inviting cost, also it is very light and greatly protected, because it is very cashed in in the structure. From then to today I have had the opportunity to try different lenses, and also different bodies, and I can say with certainty that it is not a lens that can compete with fifty thousand euros, so surely it is promoted with flying colors for a question of price/performance ratio, but wanting to talk only about quality, there is certainly better. In my opinion it is fine as a battle product or street product, certainly usable for portraiture and for generic uses, returns a bokeh in my opinion very valid. It has a nice detail from f5.6, below in my opinion it does not excel, while defending discreetly. I have also used it a lot in the studio /events, photogpheric sets, but since I have higher quality lenses I do not see its usefulness in these areas.

Pros: Light, featherweight but also effective at TA. Very appreciable in APSC for portraits. Cheap but Great

Cons: Barrel, distortion makes it less suitable than 50 Sigma Art type for narrow portraits inside

Opinion: I also add my praise to this little miracle. Great at f 1.8 for portraits on APSC, Su FF prefers to use sigma 50 1.4 art for greater yield and neutrality in distortion. If you think about taking a walk carrying a wide angle (es Samyang 14 mm) and this joy you can do great things with a derisory weight. To have

Pros: Light, compact, decent (but not phenomenal) autofocus, bright, pleasant bokeh, sharpness even at f/1.8-2.2 (on APS-C), price

Cons: very little (with optical stabilization it would have been perfect)

Opinion: I use it every day with my D5300, and it's currently among the sharpest goals you can have on APS-C (as much as it's an FX lens), according to DxO Mark. Even at f/1.8 it manages to be very sharp if well used (although it begins to be much more so at f/2.2), and although I usually do not consider the price a real "pro" (the price of a Ferrari says nothing about the quality of the car itself, but on your ability to afford it, which must be taken into account when evaluating in the presence of alternatives, before making the purchase), I have to take my hat off in front of Nikon's ability to produce such a lens at such a low price. The bokeh is very pleasant, and if you own an APS-C and want to do some portraits without spending too much, it is definitely recommended. If we wanted to be picky, what would have made this lens really perfect is optical stabilisation, which is unfortunately absent. I don't consider it a serious problem, for heaven's sake, but under 1/80s I can't go, if I want to be sure to take home a shot without the micromosso. But it's going to be my limit. Rating: 9.4.

Pros: I will lègger, unique, to bring for every occasion, the first love never forgets

Cons: Given the price and the grandiose brightness proposed, nothing to say against.

Opinion: Small, compact, if there is a little space I use it as canvases approaching and moving away from the subject, very bright, I use it and use it as a faithful friend, the value for money and unique, I think it is the first lens to buy, before I can afford some sacred lens with much higher costs, I always carry it with me, sometimes even alone , I find it indispensable, he with his blurry, with his brightness with his being 50, is in the exact center to bring home with dignity always a unique moment. Thanks, however, to the nikon of real heart. If there is little space it is not suitable for everything, but it is still a good all to do, from portraits that sometimes remain a little soft, you have landscapes tell themselves best with f10 where they find the maximum of their engraving, this anyway was only my opinion is nothing more. I hope I've helped. A warm greeting to everyone and to those who have read me so far.

Pros: light and compact, discreet in size.

Cons: at the moment nothing considering that optics has an acceptable price at all budgets

Opinion: I had definitely more "performing" and bland 50mm, but I have to say that this lens surprised me on my D850. Nice blurry at f 1.8 and already at f 2.5 sharpness is not bad. Light and not very invasive for street wiev, fun for the Close up. I would say that it is a advisable optics and if added to the excellent quality of the body 850 the pair is respectfully.

Pros: Lightness, speed, quality of the bokeh

Cons: Nothing

Opinion: Bought used and I immediately fell in love with it. It's the lens that everyone should have regardless of being simple amateurs or professionals, never leaves you on the street and taking up a well-deserved strand of the great houses of the same time, Nikon has produced a lens that takes you out of the way on many occasions without having to carry a kilo of stuff. Mounted on my APS-C, then it almost turns into an 80 mm and for portraits from the maximum. What to say ... stackedvilla!. Rating:10

Pros: Quality, lightness, price, weight, feeling, resaleability

Cons: Nothing

Opinion: It's my favorite optics, no doubt. The photos have a wonderful "pasta", I love the files that it churns out. Incredible sharpness, (unimaginable if we consider the price) very light and pocket: you will always want to take it with you, and if mounted on the machine it will be a joy to hold it on your shoulder. The blurry is amazing, better (in my opinion) than the more expensive and emblazoned f/1.4. In my opinion it is inconceivable not to have it in its kit, it costs very little and for portraits it is almost perfect. Fun is guaranteed with this lens. I found it "used" (it was 2 months and therefore almost 4 years of Nital guarantee) at 150 degrees; if I had to sell it, it would take me a few hours at the same price. Accurate and fast autofocus. You'll love it. Vote 10

Pros: Weight. opening, cost

Cons: Af Unreliable

Opinion: It's not much that I use this lens that fortunately I was given... I appreciate the weight, image quality and speed of the autofocus but unfortunately not the reliability of the result. I do not know if it is my model that has some problems but in the rare uses I am forced to make several shots in the hope that the maf is right and of course this forces me to limit its use and to think about replacing it with something more serious. But when "it's in the day", the result is more than satisfactory, both as sharp and as a detachment of the floors. Would recommend? Definitely as a start it is worth it but for a higher level it is better to invest something more.

Pros: Colors, AF Speed, Image Quality, Performance/Price Ratio

Cons: given the cost, I honestly don't blame it

Opinion: I say that it already seems to me too much, but I always love to take pictures. This lens on my D800 is often better than the 50-F/1.4G I had before and that I sold precisely because of the F/1.8G after it was loaned to me for a week and that I bought for a month. What I can say in all sincerity is that up to F/4 surpasses in all the brother F/1.4G (which costs twice as much) being better; aberration, vignette, contrast, much less "soft" definition, and higher AF speed. Also on the other my Nikon, a 1V3 equipped with F-Mount, performs better even though the differences are less marked, and has been preferred in terms of AF speed and brightness to F/1.8. It remains much higher on the D800. By the way, in poor light, the acquisition of the AF is much faster than the 58-F/1.4G of which I am a happy owner. That said, at least on D800 is the 50 that I would recommend, while remaining the opinion of a "poor" of the photo that however does not like to work heavily post-production and therefore I like when a lens grants me zero or bland tweaks. Finally, mounted on the D800E of a friend of mine who owns a 50-F/1.4G confirmed how much with my if not even further improvement gap (aberration). Probably on FX sensors with so many megapixels the most expensive F1.4G fails to perform. Very "hot" colors on D800 and even more on 1V3. AF quick. On D800 gives the best in LiveView

Pros: Price, size, good build quality.

Cons: Obvious chromatic aberrations and little TA sharpness.

Opinion: Overall it is a more than VALID lens for the price at which it is located. However, at full opening (1.8) the images are very "soft" (little sharp, in short) going to compromise especially the close-ups, in which the lack of sharpness is immediately noticeable. In any case, if you put the diaphragm f/2.0 - f/2.2, the photos are valid and the sharpness is satisfactory. For the rest, at full-time the chromatic aberrations are evident, despite it's not a big deal as the post resolves easily. In conclusion, it is certainly not qualitatively the best lens there is, but for the price that HAS LO CONSIGLIO.

avatarjunior
sent on February 26, 2020

Pros: It costs little, it weighs little, it is reliable, precise, resolute.

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: Consider that it is one of Nikon's most resellable lenses. If you try it you can always sell it very easily. Optically it is very valid, the focus in the AF-S version is very reliable and fast. It's worth all the money it costs and if you mount it on a DX it becomes almost an 85 (75mm) with a very good blur. It can be used already at 1.8 (better from 2 onwards). The ideal is to mount it and not take it off anymore.

Pros: Lightness, cost

Cons: F/B focus, chromatic aberrations, too softness to f1.8, distortion, "plastic" lens

Opinion: I wasn't thrilled with that. He failed to involve me in any way despite trying to use it in various contexts, on Nikon D610. Bought used (as new) still under warranty at 150 euros. I immediately found a strong back focus that I was able to correct with the "end correction of the goal" with value -17! The focus is quick but not repeatable. At the opening the image is too soft with a low detail also due to the difficulty of having a precise focus 100%. You can start to really see detail at f2.8 in my opinion. From the point of looking out for chromatic aberrations... Even with the correction in post you continue to observe green and purple dominants on the edges even in non-critical light situations by looking at the photo in 1:1. A lens that is not incisive, which among other things presents a blurry one that is very "hard" that I do not like at all. To date I would prefer to spend a little more considering much more incisive alternatives, also because this focal I find that it is "no meat in fish" but this is my personal taste.

Pros: excellent TA sharpness, good price, weight and size

Cons: anything, if you don't expect personal tastes

Opinion: Very good optics in all respects already at full open, to the point that it is not necessary to close the diaphragm to seek more detail. Personally, I am of the opinion that the bokeh is good but on FF he lacks a touch of personality. It's not a real flaw, it's a matter of personal taste. However, it performs the function of portrait optics on the APS format; I use it very often paired with a D200 for the portrait (like an 85 on FF), and the results are really pleasant. Recommended optics for any kind of kit.

Pros: sharpness, color rendition, cost

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: I got it used at 180 euros, it was the best money spent on a goal. I use it on Aps-C (d7100) and the color rendition and detail is fantastic. Very pleasant even the bokeh! I find absolutely no flaws and I recommend it to anyone who has in mind to buy a lens from low cost but excellent performance! Rated 10

Pros: Really spectacular lens.

Cons: Restricted field angle (at least for my standards)

Opinion: Very bright lens with a perfect blur. Very convenient to carry, really an amazing lens. It became my main lens after 18 105. The problem is the angle of the field a little narrow thing that is making me think of a 35 mm f 1.8 g. For the rest I recommend it to anyone who wants to start working in manual, then manual focus, aperture game etc.

Pros: Value for money, small and light, very sharp, nice bokeh

Cons: Considered the price anything

Opinion: One of the best lenses looking at the value for money, very sharp already at full aperture up to the most closed diaphragms, has a nice bokeh and gives excellent results both on FF and APS-C. I do not share some comments on the alleged distortion, problem that I have never presented with this lens. It is certainly not a professional lens at the construction level, but it has the advantage of being light and portable.

avatarjunior
sent on January 01, 2019

Pros: High quality/price ratio, light weight, fast AF, very sharp already f/2, little vignetting.

Cons: Noticeable barrel distortion (automatically corrected with software effectiveness). Risk of back-focusing! Focus not very precise and repeatable. Lack of stabilizer, makes you want to use the excellent zoom 24-120mm If you do not need low PdC (f/1.8-3.5). Minimum opening F/16 (F/22 on 24-120mm).

Opinion: At the beginning, this "must have" of Nikonisti did not make me fall in love: I was disappointed by the barrel distortion, not horrible but very visible (on FX) when the photo has straight elements, approaching the one on the wide angle of the 24-120mm F4. The software or the firmware of the camera correct it well (I recommend to set "auto distortion Control" in the menu), but it bothers to see it in a fixed and not even wide angle, forcing to sacrifice side details of the shot, visible instead in the viewfinder . Of course, it should be considered the very low cost of optics, the fact that the use on FX (on DX the distortion would be barely perceptible), and that is a small and light optics and with few lenses, as opposed to the 24-120mm that does not distort to 50mm. On top of that, I happened to have a copy (socket used in the store) with a heavy back-focusing, which I corrected in the camera, after several tests, with a fine adjustment offset AF of-20 (the maximum! I almost went to protest in the shop. Also check your, which focuses exactly in the AF point and not in front or back. Calibrated the AF, I recognized that this little one is discreetly sharp to f 1.8, and very sharp already from F2! At F4 it is cesellante, and also sharper (as you would hope) of the already excellent zoom 24-120mm @ 50mm. The sharpness at times however depends on the accuracy of the MAF, which does not seem great. The sharpness, then, does not seem to worsen much with the distance of the center of the frame. Unfortunately, not being stabilized you can not absolutely fall under 1/50 "freehand to avoid the blur, and still up to 1/80" you have to be careful. The vignetting is present but very light even on FX. The AF motor is the same as the 24-120, not very fast but quick and acceptable almost always. In conclusion, this little one gives me the impression of being built for the DX format, not much for the FX, with which it is also compatible and where it gives a very important LF. However, with a little bit of attention, and automatic distortion and vignetting corrections, it can also be valuable on FX. Precious, in my opinion, only to have the blurred of the F 1.8-3.5 and to lighten the weight in case of light outputs at only 50mm, because as a total yield does not seem to me that the 24-120 F4 has much to envy, rather has the magic of the stabilizer. But sometimes the 50ino is used willingly. Final Vote 8, maybe it would be 8.5 for me, for the price to which it is located.

Pros: Very good sharpness already at full aperture, sagittal coma and reduced AC, lightness, very high price/optical quality ratio.

Cons: Mechanical construction Vilissima.

Opinion: Typically amateur optics, it is built very badly, of vile plastic, but optically it is valid, already at full aperture it is very usable for A3 prints, it is extremely compact and light, it has AF without praise but above all without infamy, the price is modest, and mirrors the Vile quality of construction, but optically it is very valid, extremely sharp closed a bit. The blur is not the best, but passable. Optics to buy for light outputs, to stick and to keep in the bag, it honestly, and always, its work, with a weight and a very reduced footprint. I had the Nikkor 50 F 1.4 AFS G, given away because it is a bottle bottom for sagittal coma and for the Moscia image at full aperture, and I also have the Sigma 50 F 1.4 Art, optics from excellent yield, but it is a bin weighing about 1 Kg , while this 50 F 1.8 is very light.

Pros: Light, well built, compact and already sharp at f 1.8

Cons: Manual focus ring with some games

Opinion: The 50ino is universal, and this G-series offers at very low price very high performance in terms of sharpness (higher than the other 50 that Nikon has in the catalog). The lens is light and the metal attachment also has a very useful gasket to protect the camera from dust or water infiltrations. The lens of per se is not weather sealed but once mounted a quality UV filter is virtually unattackable by water and dust. The sharpness is very good already from F 1.8 (although you highlight a bit of violet aberration or if you prefer "purple fringing"), at f2.8 is monstrously Sharp, at F4 is practically a scalpel. The autofocus is fast and extremely silent and precise, the manual ring but it seemed little usable because it has a little bit of vacuum and is not very smooth. As a price/performance ratio I think we are at the top, I use it on Nikon D7200 and as far as I'm concerned I can get the most out of its amazing sensor. A perspective to have and always keep with itself.

Pros: Sharpness, bokeh, light weight

Cons: Focus Ring

Opinion: I use it for three years as a handyman on my D600, I find it very sharp and with a nice bokeh. The price/quality ratio is very high. By choice (I'm fine with this focal) was my first lens on Nikon D600. The only points on which I feel to make a critique are the "feeling" with the focus ring and the construction a little plasticose... Recommended for those who want to start but also those who want to discover a 50 mm with "so much yield and little expense"

Pros: Compact, light, crisp. Great Price

Cons: Makes you want to try a 1.4

Opinion: First lens mounted on my d610 and almost never unplugged. Incredibly compact and light, it is also very sharp and with a beautiful bokeh. For the price to which it is located is extremely recommended, especially on full-frame where it can be used in many fields. Personally it made me come the curiosity to try a 50mm 1.4.

Pros: Low price, very light, bright, crisp and beautiful blur.

Cons: You can use it more with a Full Frame...ma just move a little and it's fine even with an Aps-C.

Opinion: I use it often for portraits and I have to say it is great. With 1.8 diaphragm The blur is really nice highlighting the subject. I mount it on a Nikon d3400 with APS C sensor so I suffer a little crop........ all in all it makes me good because I move more. It also has good sharpness and is very bright. It has never given me problems and although it may look like a plastic toy, it is quite robust. Given the price and quality offered by this beautiful lens I highly recommend it. Tested personally with a Full Frame of my amico.....in practice becomes a useful handyman for both portraits, landscaping, street etc...

Cons: This quality at this price does not make me find against.

Opinion: Objective that especially for those who start in the outfit there must be. Quality price from 10 and praise. I went back to the beginning instead of the classic original kit lenses I would take this and brother 85 mm. Excellent quality at moderate prices. Sharp and fuzzy to give satisfactions. Pros: Excellent sharpness and very nice bockeh effect.

Cons: Focus Ring.

Opinion: I was immediately impressed by the sharpness of this lens is by the possibility of having a very shallow depth of field thanks to the wide aperture of the diaphragm to get so beautiful blurry backgrounds. The only downside in my opinion is the focus ring that seems to scratch but maybe it's just a flaw in my lens. Really happy with the purchase!

Opinion: As mentioned, the sharpness is excellent already at 2.8 even if you can safely use it to TA, paying attention to the focus that must be precise. Excellent color rendering with slightly closed shadows as usual for Nikon AF-s optics. Supplied the hood that serves more to protect it from blows because the front lens is fairly recessed and the anti-reflection treatment is very effective. The construction is plastic but robust and more than adequate for non-professional optics. Considering the cost should not be missing in the kit both those who use full frame and use the smallest format DX.rnA way to see the only real flaw is the distortion that is also low is still higher than the previous version AF-d and visible in some shots, at least for those who use it in full frame, it becomes ridiculous on the small format thanks to crop.rnDa non perderernUmberto

Pros: Practical, fast and precise AF, brightness, sharpness.

Cons: nobody

Opinion: I used this lens on NIKON D700 for a few months and I literally fell in love! Versatile as a few, it is certainly the subjective thing .. but personally when I had to go out and shoot around (street) I always chose him! I even used it for some sports shots like MTB races! Exceptional, it should be present in the kit of all nikonists!

Pros: Light and luminous

Cons: For price and quality photos - none.

Opinion: I used this lens on several occasions and I also compared it with the Nikon F 1.4 and with the famous Sigma F 1.4 (tested with Nikon D850) .rn- In comparison with his successor there is no comparison much better F1.8 indeed I think the F1.4 a hole in the water as they have worsened the optics - cost absurd for an optic ill fattarn- Compared instead with the Sigma 1.4 does not suffer from the classic problems of B / F focus, the weight of the sigma after half a day is it makes you feel. The sigma at TA reacts better, the MAF is slightly faster but this is obvious since we are talking about a 2017 vision - but that does not justify the price.rnrnNikon 50 mm F 1.8 is around 150/160 € new Europe. rnrnAllego link with other photos taken with the Nikon 50 mm https://www.ennioscarcelli.com/dance. rnrnMi available for further clarification

Cons: I do not know maybe a little ' aberrations but nothing serious to correct them with a click in pp

Opinion: It was my first fixed "serious" and for what it costs I would say a good goal! Pros: Price and weight.

Cons: At the moment no one.

Opinion: I'd preferred the 35mm 1.8 ever of Nikon's home because I thought the 50th as a corner. After a few clicks, however, I find a remarkable color rendition and a great bokeh effect. Blurry is better than little brother 35 and it seems to me, perhaps for optical construction, that the 50 is even sharper. Of course you have to move around to try to capture the scene you are interested in and maybe some of it remains out. Obviously the 50 is certainly not suitable for all shots, but I like the colors that pulls out especially inside. Always use it at 1.8.

Cons: Body made entirely of plastic.

Opinion: Light, discreetly bright. He does his job well. Lightweight distortion at increased magnifications. Makes best min situations of good brightness. Low price. Pros: Very affordable price, works fairly well.

Cons: All I bought was resistant to any climatic conditions (it also has a gasket to the body behind it, but before it does not seem so sealed as the hike and backslide are communicating to the outside of the lens by varying the internal volume.

Opinion: Those who do not want to go beyond f1.4 have a decent alternative. F1.8 at high magnifications can be visible light contours aberrations chromatic, but not excessive, after a stop is resolved. At f2.8 it works very well eaf 4 i would say it is to the fullest detail. No undesirable degradation is known even to very closed diaphragms. RnDo not forget maybe that having the front lens somewhat snoozed, leaves plenty of void space between any protective filters. In special light, intense, flash, or backlight conditions if unexpected effects occur, remember to make the naked eye work. I'm in favor of the protectors because the optics can always be cleaned and not having to clean is better, but always keep in mind that optics are designed with naked and hooded.

Pros: Quality / Price, Sharp, Lightweight, Bokeh quite nice, fast and accurate af

Cons: Toy maf ring, not tropicalized, CA present, but easily correctable

Opinion: I took this goal a few months ago because I think having a 50in in kit does not hurt. I already own the 1.8mm 1.8mm I have realized, both on field use and thanks to various homemade tests, which has the same identical optical quality. The G series of Nikon optically does not disappoint, good sharpness at TA and from f2.8 to f11 become sharp as blades while keeping a good definition even at f16. Unfortunately, the construction is as playful as the focus ring. Attention, toy does not mean a little robust (the material with which they are constructed in theory should provide greater impact resistance by lowering the weight), this is just a feeling of touch. The blur is pretty nice and soft. It is slightly nervous only in some situations (trees and shrubs in the background for example), but nothing so severe. The color aberrations are present, but they are very easily corrected in the post. Considering the performance it offers and the price at which it is sold My vote is a 9 without even thinking about it.

Pros: Low cost (the used is below 150), diaphragm 1.8; dimensions; Weight, small filters, can also be used on FX

Cons: After 2 years of use, even engaging, I can not find them

Opinion: It was my first goal, my thought at that time was so little spending so much, and after hours and hours of research on the forum I said I would have used a fixed optic to begin to understand the photographic world! I was undecided until the last of 35mm nikon and 50mm, in the end I bought this for a bid in the used! I did well, I mounted it on the d3300, it seemed to go around with a toy, but it gave me great shots! The lack of the Vr have never felt, with this lens it's all simple, play with diaphragm time and max iso, and you always have a photo properly exposed! I just started with the test, always coming out with only 50mm but I figured it was pretty fit for my way of shooting in 80% of my shots, the remaining 20% ??were landscapes, architecture, street in which This fixed optic created me a few problems because of the aps-c crop factor! By now the 50mm is always in his pocket, he isMy loyal companion, I never keep him home, because you never know! Now in view of the purchase of my first Fx it makes me very comfortable to have in my optics a lens that I can use to the maximum! I recommend it to all the newbies, for those who have money to spend, and know how to appreciate and exploit the quality of lenses, but I would advise you to get interested in the 50mm 1.4 art!

Pros: Great price-performance ratio. Exceptional sharpness, even at full aperture. Small and light, fast Autofocus

Cons: If you really want to find a nit, the 58mm front filter, instead of the classic 52mm, it seems to have derived from the 1.4 design rather than from real technical reasons.

Opinion: I currently own both this goal, both the 1.4G AF-S. By comparison, the sharpness at f / 1.8 for this is slightly higher in the center, with a more marked difference at the edges. In addition to the entire exhibition opening minor chromatic aberrations (purple fringing) in highlights slightly out of focus. As you close the diaphragm the differences between the two is thin, becoming indistinguishable af / 5.6.rnPer regarding the AF speed in a bench test that is slightly faster (0.6s against 0.8s) 1.4. Cons: the diameter is 52mm

Opinion: I have the lens from about two months, and during that time I started to use it almost always (18-55 from the kit, I carry it, but it's still in the bag, generally). The thing that surprised me is the inordinate desire to always use it at room temperature, the risk of making a mistake and the picture MAF correct ... but exceeded this initial stage, I would say that I can only speak well. The only flaw (but it is a clear design feature) is that it has a diameter of 58mm, and the various filters that already had 52mm can not be used, but I would say that you can not survive this thing.

Opinion: I'm still studying. Of course it is not that he found himself in the company of three fools, is located next to Nikkor 20mm f1.8 which is not a fool, then there is the Nikon D750 fx, that she even has cracked, and then there is also the handle of the photographer even he is a fool. One thing is sure, here at home, with these three subjects, it is not easy to impress. What then? What at first glance immediately impressed me. Certain that the sharpness and contrast it lacks, it does not have to sell, the colors are the right ones ... it solves very well the smallest details, the blur is pleasant, and then do not forget, is a fixed f1.8 Nikkor. In conclusion, the Nikkor 50mm f1.8 is a great goal to enlarge the family. Has...! I forgot ... is a sniper, do not make a wrong focus, is surgical, it's fast, it's accurate. What can I say, I did not want any lens kit as I read this 50mm and I'm really impressed. In fact it is an excellent lens for portraits, interiors, street photos some views. It does not have the versatility of a zoom but has its own characteristics that make it appreciated for more. A bright lens, sharp, good color and then cheap (perhaps less than it's worth). But this does not detract from the fact that it is an excellent lens, despite its price in the eyes of an amateur like me give satisfaction as if it were a professional lens. rnrnPs: Now many say a blasphemy but in my opinion in the absence of a lens dedicated "macro" in your kit, this is a good stopgap.

Pros: Quality / price ratio, overall yield

Cons: Plasticky

Opinion: I'm satisfied? Yes, I use it on D7000 and is a great goal: bright, very crisp and clear TA, lightweight, good AF and, not least, economico.rnLo recommend? Yes, for those seeking a 50ino for Nikon and does not want to spend absurd figures, the value for money is eccellente.rnLimiti? You plasticosetto, for me is not a problem, but for the set of "iron", those for which weight = quality is definitely a flaw.

Pros: Lightweight, economical, versatile ....

Cons: I do not know yet

Opinion: Good afternoon everyone, I'm new to this forum and I also bought a few days ago I 50ino the f.18g. I'm a little disappointed perhaps is defective or maybe io.rnPremetto I use it on nikon d7000 here for equivalent focal length is about 75mm, so as not to take blurry pictures, I always try to use a safety time of 1/100 to Tally, however, that the noise of the 'shutter is too strong, as if scattassi with time short, like 1/30 or slower, also the photos look completely blurry. I noticed this evening with little light. Can you give me some advice? I also read a lot of reviews here where you say that the maf is fast, to me it's really slow, much slower than the 18-105 kit as I have. Will you help me? Thanks to anyone who wanted to contribute.

Pros: Lightweight, zero footprint, build quality, image quality, fast AF.

Cons: Minimum Focusing Distance, Lens Hood ugly, Purple Fringe in TA

Opinion: I can not help it. Image TA usabilissima (eye, however, in the light, where I happened to see worsening of purple fringe on the edges), reaches maximum sharpness at f / 5.6, then, for my taste, it starts to become too hard. Beautiful colors, precise AF and smoothly. The minimum distance of focus from 45cm of the time gives me a little trouble. Inevitable in any kit lens, both for the quality, and for the cost really ridiculous.

Pros: End printout picture perfect, speed, focus, lightweight construction, boke beautiful, low price

Cons: I do not see

Opinion: Used with my D7100 becomes a 75 mm f 1.75. The quality is really indescribable for a lens of this cost almost negligible. You have to do a bit of hand with the PDC especially wide open, but the result is truly exceptional. Honestly I did not expect such a high quality for a lens so cheap and unviversale. Highly recommended for any user both Nikon DX FX.

Pros: Excellent bokeh effect, sharpness that finds few parallels, low price

Cons: Minimum focusing distance: 45 cm

Opinion: It is an objective of high quality with few competitors, especially when you consider that you can find on the net just 160 Euros. The blur is very pleasant, reproduces the photo with beautiful colors, good contrast. The greatest strength is the perfect sharpness. For those who make the macro is fine with tubes prolunga.rnLa minimum focus distance is a little bit a limit, but you can not have everything.

Pros: MAF lightning, weight and footprint, cost.

Cons: Purple fringing in some situations (not necessarily in TA).

Opinion: I got this drive to do mostly portraits on APS-C, but I managed to use it successfully in many other situations (street, indoor birthdays, etc..) Where he served a well-lit and there was enough room for 75mm equivalent on DX. The lens is cheap and has made a really good, with great clarity and returns a flesh with a pleasant creamy increasingly blurred. The PDC is always manageable, which is important because some portrait lenses have a PDC with which we must always do the math and have a little 'over the edge with more difficult subjects (eg. Babies) makes things easier. The MAF is swift and precise, moreover, is not affected at flare and not even go to the crisis in the light. The purple fringing I emerged on occasion, especially with strong (and I emphasize the "strong") side light and surfaces very clear about spatial plans not far away (eg. Sleeve white dress closer to the lens than the rest of dress), even with the lens hood does not solve much. InMost cases can be corrected in PP with appropriate filters and masks, but the heavier ones I could not help but switch to monochrome in order to recover the picture. In any case, these cases are sporadic, the lens is worth much more than it costs!

Pros: AF fast and accurate, in addition to being extremely quiet! Remarkable 3D effect! Lightweight but sturdy!

Cons: No one!

Opinion: Ridiculously low price! I did not buy it for the low price, but then I thought that I could sell it to the limit ... I'll keep it definitely instead! It 's great. It also has the rubber gasket on the graft to the camera. On my D7100 is amazing even for the macro, sharpness crazy! I also have the 105 VR micro, but when I want to shoot handheld and take no weight behind it, and in the meantime use this snap some photos you've landscapes. I would like to try it on a D800 that I would buy used!

Pros: exceptional focus, MAF superb, superb sharpness, very low price

Cons: none

Opinion: Recently purchased, I always keep it mounted on my D7100 and I can not part with it, it is giving me infinite satisfaction. A lens really excellent in so many points of view, first of all the sharpness. The focus that can give is really nice as well as the effect of "3D" from which the photos. The 'AF is ready and precise, and then it is very light ... even in the price. The only drawback is that you do not have the stability that I think would have made it further this objective even more powerful than it already is. The TIP OF to those who are going to buy a fixed lens, do not want gutted and want exceptional performance.

Cons: I honestly do not seem to find

Opinion: Quest'obbiettivo is of excellent quality despite the use of a nikon D3100 results are great ... it is bright and usable already in TA, very sharp, blur pleasant, fast AF and accurate, it is very light you do not even notice that you have a lens mounted, the footprint is minimal. used on APS-C is perfect for portraits. Really a great lens at a great price ... for those who are not in possession of fixed optics is a lens that would absolutely recommend

Pros: Sharpness, blur, light, prezzo.rnrn

Cons: I found none.

Opinion: The optical resolution perhaps may not be properly defined in very good TA but improves dramatically as soon as you close the diaphragm, especially in the center of the image. rnAberrazione color and distortion are well controlled, with results even better than the more expensive models of the same focal length. rnrnMust point out that: rnrn1) vignetting contained RN2) high, resistance to flare RN3) against the good behavior. rnrnL'autofocus is quiet, accurate and reasonably fast, especially with a view to this end of synthesis prezzo.rnrnIn I think the 50mm Nikon has an excellent price / performance ratio, especially by stopping down at least one stop and build quality to example the bayonet metal to a good standard for this price range.

Opinion: Taken to its ease of disconnecting the plans making clear the subject ... Cons: For me, no one.

Opinion: I use almost elusively targets with 50mm focus on Full Frame: I have to say that for what you pay again, it turns out to be a great deal! It is light, the autofocus is fast even in low light conditions, the blur is pleasant, beautiful colors. I don't see any flaws, very high value for money in this regard.

Opinion: As I consider this objective description of excellent workmanship, despite his older brother f1.4 defends this very bene.rnAnzi think that it behaves better, despite the high brightness' has a very good color rendering and well contrasted, the colors are alive and hot and apertures performs very well with regard to the nitidezza.rnCorpo very light and not bulky engine integrates a fast AF and affidafile.rnChe say again, a lens which I can not 'and must not be missing in the kit any fotografo.rnrnVoto 10 + + +

Opinion: The I took a few days, I've heard just mounted its lightness and taken the first photo I was impressed by its sharpness, accustomed to the 18 105 VR, I'm really glad of purchase, I use it almost always manual although not F 1.8 is very easy to focus on ... the rest is a lens that value for money is unbeatable ...

Pros: Crisp, light and versatile.

Cons: Nobody.

Opinion: Sharp as usual Nikon, great for interiors, but thanks to the lightness, it lends itself very well outside around the streets of the city. It has VR stabilizer which in certain circumstances limit you feel. Clearly a bit long on APS-C in the pictures inside, but the question is moot. Recommended for quality and price.

Pros: Size, weight, clarity, price.

Cons: Distortion, purlpe fringing at full aperture.

Opinion: Recommended for those who want to have a good 50mm but is not interested in spending twice for his brother with f/1.4 aperture. rnQuesto lens has a decent sharpness already at RT, from f/2.8 onwards it becomes very sharp and has a impressive sharpness at f/5.6. L 'autofocus is fast enough for any situation you may face with a lens like that. The distortion is quite pronounced (but corrects itself without any problem in Lightroom or any other development program raw) and TA when I photograph against light sources strong enough I noticed a little 'purple fringing but nothing grave.rnIn as to the value / price is simply unbeatable.

Pros: Light, crystal clear, bright, pretty cheap for the performance it offers.

Cons: If you use only one fixed on APS-C is a little 'lungo.rnMinima distance of focus.

Opinion: Purchase eccellente.rnLuminoso enough, I do not feel the need to have version F/1.4rnSfocato delizioso.rnNitido to be frightening, from 2 / 2.5 onwards excelled! RnLeggero, autofocus very preciso.rnrnCon APS-C is not suitable for enclosed spaces (need to be accompanied by another shorter). rnSe had even a distant macro capability would be the obietivo of life, but it is a reason ... rnIl hood is ugly? Cons: Af a bit noisy, but there are no defects of great importance

Opinion: Once attached to the body, it seems that there is so much that is lightweight. The photos are really beautiful, the blur is one of the best I've seen so far ora.rnPersonalmente, the only thing a bit annoying is the focus noisy that gives me problems only if I want to shoot some video (you can hear the very noise). But here the priority is to take pictures: D so real defects until now I have not trovati.rnCredo that is one of the most important objectives to keep :) rnEro interested in the f 1.4 version but the price is too high! ! Pros: Sharpest since f/1.8, bokeh very nice, very light, af fast and accurate ac contained in hood quick (and not screw finally)!

Cons: Difficult to find one, ah here .. has no aperture ring: P

Opinion: I had the 50mm 1.8 afd that shone risolvenza at RT. I got this because afs is much improved both the center and the edges .. diaframmando (from f/2.8 onwards ..) differences virtually disappear, so it is recommended the step only if you intend to use it at f/1.8 to f/2.8! Compared to 'f/1.4 is optically better (ac smaller and sharper at room temperature), the AF is faster and the lower price! The bokeh looks good at all .. Currently, the use of d700 and shines by fear, recommended!
