Pros: Size, usability, quality

Cons: Maybe the 20 megapixels

Opinion: I come from canon 90d, it was a very pleasant upgrade, I'm not a professional but as an amateur this is a super camera body, surely the rf Canon kit has high prices, I also use it with ef and sigma optics and everything runs smoothly, the 24 megapixels of the Mk II are tempting even if honestly on this r6 you do not feel the lack. The use is simple, the machine is fast, precise and reliable. Waiting for the price to drop the Canon battery grip that would be very useful and comfortable, for my opinion sold now at an exaggerated price. Pleasant colors

Pros: Manageability, lightness high ISO files.

Cons: Flash exposure not always accurate, the rear wheel accidentally moves with ease, making you miss the opportunity to take photos on the fly. Autofocus in servo sometimes you lose the photo.

Opinion: I come from 1DX MK2, and the difference is noticeable, even if you take photos in ceremonies and the subject is not dynamic, it can happen to blur, I changed the autofocus settings but it is always the same thing, on the autofocus problem I turned to Camera Service Naples and they told me to contact Canon Italy for warranty repairs, Mine is valid for another year. I hope not to change car or make.

Pros: Ergonomics, exceptional files, AF

Cons: Nothing noteworthy

Opinion: Purchased about six months ago for business use, I must say that I was impressed. I will not talk about how it works at 51,200 iso or how it recovers files taken 10 stops below. I use it for work and certainly not at -10 stops, but without a doubt the iso noise is not a problem for the R6, which holds up very well without worries at least up to 12,800. That said, we are in front of the same sensor as the 1Dx Mark III, and once you have it in your hands, it is not hard to believe it, just do some tests, take it out to work a little, to see the very high quality of the files it churns out, exactly like the 1Dx3. From my point of view the files are fantastic, a beautiful paste, a practically perfect color rendering and complexion, an ISO seal (12,800 safe) excellent. Coming from the series 1 I did not find major differences in the workability of the file, I found it very similar, so really good. Excellent ergonomics, I am a man of 110 kg and I hold it in my hand without any problem, without it being small or difficult to manage. The buttons are in the right place and practically all customizable. On the Dual pixel AF there is little to say, it hardly misses a shot. In short, excellent machine that I would buy again with my eyes closed!

Pros: AF, high ISO yield, crazy stabilization

Cons: virtually nothing, perhaps the cost of RF lenses

Opinion: I state that I am an amateur, I do not make photography my job and I do not have the needs of professionals. I believe, like most people who attend this forum, to be part of the category of "evolved amateurs". I bought the R6 after a short period of "break" from photography and I was lucky enough to buy it after the release of the mkII, which allowed me to spend "relatively" little on the body. First impression is to have in hand (and it is the first impression of a person who until a few months before was happy owner of an R) an object of superior category: the build quality is excellent, the grip is excellent and FINALLY the buttons and rings are in place, in full Canon SLR style. I was a bit skeptical about the issue of 20mpx, but I must say that for normal use (and also for a little' crop, not exaggerated) you do not feel at all the difference compared to the 30mpx sensor of the R. With the transition to the LP-E6NH (the new Canon batteries) we forget the age-old problem of mirrorless, namely that the battery does not last long: with a Patona protect I easily arrived over 1000 shots, with electronic viewfinder set to 120fps and screen almost always active. The autofocus then is another story: already with the R I was perfectly at ease, with very few "wrong" shots, but the R6 takes everything to another level. I will not dwell on technical issues – which I probably would not be able to deal with – but I make this simple statement: with the R I had a 10% of shots out of focus, with the R6 we are below 1% (all not only in "easy" situations, such as portrait, but also in rather complex situations, such as chasing birds flying against the light). The ISO yield is simply hallucinating: 12,800 ISO on the R6 correspond – in terms of noise – to 3,200 on the R. For the first time since I have a camera, I find myself in the condition of thinking that raising the ISO is not so different from decreasing the shutter speed or opening the aperture, so, in terms of noise, the problem does not arise. The stabilization is simply magnificent, but one clarification must be made: in my experience it tends to work much better – obviously – on the new generation RF lenses rather than on the old EFs; with the 100-400 RF I found myself shooting at 400mm at 1/100sec perfectly still (and I'm a person who has pretty shaky hands, so I'm used to shooting AT LEAST at 1/800sec at that focal length). In short, speaking clearly, the conclusion is that it is a camera probably oversized compared to my needs, which is aimed more at an audience of professionals rather than amateurs. But it remains – considering the current advantageous price – perhaps the best choice for those who want to stay in Canon and literally want the maximum of what photographic technology is able to give.

Pros: Operating speed, AF, image quality

Cons: Perceived quality, some problems then solved

Opinion: Exceptional machine, both in terms of image quality and usability. Despite being very rich in features, it is rather simple to use, well-structured menu. The AF module is really great, as is the operating speed. I had some problems working (total crash with reset possible only by removing the battery) under normal conditions. The classic forum know-how, assuming that I had not read the manual, lapidarily blamed the SD cards used. Maybe even Canon didn't read the manual as it replaced my motherboard. Now it goes that it is a bomb. Extraordinary machine, with the right resolution, in my opinion. It also works very well with the old EF lenses, although I am slowly discarding them in favor of RF.

Pros: ISO, battery, ease of use, built-in stabilizer, dynamic range

Cons: if it had more resolution..., 4K video recording time limit

Opinion: Now the R6 mk 2 is out but I think the R6 mk 1 remains a fantastic camera, I recommend it to everyone, especially with the prices dropped! I have owned it for almost 2 years, I work with services such as pregnancy, newborns, baptisms, 18 years, so a bit all the main situations where you really see if a camera is tough or not. The R6 never disappoints: seize the moment, a stolen look with a burst? It does. Photos with little noise in the evening at a party? It does. Photos in church not always well lit? No problem. Precision of focus on the subject (person) day or night? No problem. Thanks to the R6 my percentage of shots in focus is well above 90%, the only time I have to drive the focus is when there are more people, because rightly in that case the software can not know where to aim. The tightness to high ISO is amazing, I try not to exceed 6,400 ISO but up to 12,000 I do not worry so much. Of course, cropping you can but carefully and this sometimes limits, even if it pushes you to be careful with the shot, excellent gymnastics then! The battery lasts, even with the screen open, let's say those 3 hours of shots holds them, although I think it also affects the ambient temperature: in practice with 2 batteries you are fine up to 5/6 hours. I use EF optics with the adapter, never a problem, excellent, as well as the stabilizer in the room: in my opinion having it is a great help in many situations and with unstabilized lenses; I imagine that without it I would have taken many photos with shake, which in practice I do not know when I download photos and post produce. The video part also, excellent, including logs, but too bad for the heating with the 4k and the limit then to the recording: great shame because so you can not work for long, unless you settle for the FULL HD. I found a problem, let's say, when the mounted slide flash discharges and turns off, if you do not notice it and shoot, the machine from error and freezes: you have to turn it off and on again (I for safety remove and put back the battery). For the rest everything ok, I recommend it!

Pros: Deadly autofocus, dynamic range, burst both mechanical and electronic, dual slots, RF / EF adapter, stabilizer, ergonomics rather good for my hands, excellent sensor.

Cons: RF lens price, lack of screen on camera shoulder

Opinion: The moment I started using it I had a bad feeling, that is a moment before the focus and consequently the shot I saw in the viewfinder a light like a flash shot. Fortunately, after asking for an explanation on the forum, some courteous people dispelled my doubts by explaining the normality of the operation due to the total opening of the diaphragm to help the AF. Of course this lasted a blink of an eye. Having clarified this, it must be said that the photos are taken correctly and the focus is also valid using EF optics. Excellent and functional face / eye recognition once hooked the subject does not lose it anymore. More than enough bursts with mechanical and electronic shutter. I had the whole series of 5D and frankly once I took the hand with the new camera at the moment I do not regret them, although to be honest I kept the latest version.

Pros: Series 1 technology, thumb bezel, adapter control ring, incredible IBIS performance combined with IS

Cons: Absurd Cost of RF Lenses

Opinion: I bought the R6 because I was fed up with the autofocus of the 6D, and what can I say... another world! I am very happy with the purchase! So I focus on the things I like least: it's a little small in the hand, I preferred the size of the 6D; the weight, with the addition of adapters (I do not intend to switch from EF to RS for now) does not take advantage of the elimination of the mirror; the compact size does not leave room for too many keys nor for the upper display (let's say that overall I find the structure of the 7DII more comfortable, but it is much larger), a tutorial on the use of autofocus would be needed... That said, none of these considerations are really a flaw, and as long as you spend more in the R series there are models that solve even these small flaws. I am really satisfied with the purchase, although I must say that the prices of the entire R and RF series are really high, compared to the competition. I thought a lot about switching to Sony, but I didn't want to replace my optical fleet.

Pros: Autofocus, ISO, shadow recovery, dynamic range, size, weight, dual SD slot, IBIS, rings, functions, burst, tropicalized (even if discounted)

Cons: 20 mpx for crop, limited expensive RF lenses

Opinion: You can not speak badly, the camera body is fabulous, crazy ergonomics, pleasant to hold and shoot, the burst rarely I use it at maximum speed however fast, ISO with crazy hold, the shadow recovery is impressive manages to recover areas almost completely black, IBIS combined with the optics is crazy recently I use it on the 100-500 and I must say that it is impressive, Fast AF with dedicated optics but also with the old series is a step ahead of the curve, the keys and rings are easily accessible and fully customizable in the menu, the only thing to evaluate fil park RF optics expensive, and still not vast enough, certainly beautiful, sharp and light, but expensive

Pros: Burst speed, I bought it for this, a few pixels, as well, if I need more I have another

Cons: I do not know using it recently, it would seem perfect

Opinion: Here used with 24 105 series rf fire 4 L and with the 35 1.8 macro and fabulous, with the 100 400 5.6 ... 8 I used it in photo hunting, with discrete photos but since the lens with the R p I had fully satisfied ., and since there is in this case a poor light I will have to review . Above all I want to use the r6 and the lens in sports. The viewfinder mimies me a lot once adjusted on my diopters, then there is always the screen and I have to learn to use it

Pros: Autofocus and Stabilization - use at high iso

Cons: Feeling of "average" quality of building materials - too unbalanced when used with 24-70 2.8 or, worse, with 28-70 2.0.

Opinion: Formidable autofocus and possibility of using jpg as coming out of the camera (something common to all mirrorless, since it is almost impossible to get the exposure wrong). Viewfinder not at all comparable to that of a high-end SLR, as well as for ergonomics (try to handle a 5D Mark IV to have a term of comparison). Poor battery life - low noise (obvious with 20 megapixels) and good inamica range help.

Pros: Autofocus, ISO seal, operating speed, dynamic range, dimensions and weight, dual SD slots, IBIS, rings and functions

Cons: 20mp in case of crop, with 24mp it would have been perfect

Opinion: I have recently switched from 6D mkII to R6 and I am fully satisfied with the choice, I immediately tested it in the field working on a dog show, 2 days of work for 6/8 hours of work a day, thousands of photos taken and it did not disappoint me, I managed to shoot at HIGHER ISO than the 6D managing to have excellent safety times and the images came out perfect and clean, despite the low light and the subjects were often in motion the autofocus has practically never been wrong, another thing for me important is that thanks to the internal stabilization and the exceptional iso seal the F4 lenses can be better exploited with little light, the RAW files are very workable and the dynamic range is excellent, the recovery of shadows also. Being smaller and lighter than an SLR especially when coupled with the new RF lenses also saves weight and effort. Only negative note: a few more mp would not have hurt but in general I can not complain and I am very satisfied with this R6

Pros: Autofocus, speed of operation, high ISO tightness, ergonomics, dynamic range

Cons: Not all the functions that can be assigned to programmable keys and rings, optical park to be evaluated well

Opinion: After a long period with the Sony Alpha (7 2, 7 3, 9 and 9 II) I decided to return to Canon. Boom, surprise autofocus. Very good in single, excellent continuously, a step and a half ahead of the A9 II especially in tracking and face / eye recognition. For the use I made of it (street mainly) the percentage of shots out of focus was less than 4%. Of this machine I also greatly appreciated the speed of operation, the dynamic range, the ergonomics (need I say it for Canon?) and the high Iso seal with well-usable shots with few corrections up to 6,400 Iso. Instead, I find incomprehensible the choice not to make keys and rings fully customizable: some functions are not assignable (or I was not good at finding a way to do it). The body coupled with RF lenses (I had no EF given the Sony past) forms an extremely reliable combination and, for me, of great satisfaction: I refer in particular to the 24-70 f.2.8. I conclude with an obviousness: before buying an R body it is necessary to evaluate well the available optical park.

Pros: Dynamic range, Autofocus a sword!, rendering on colors, excellent sharpness even at high ISO, excellent 3 customizable rings, practicality of use, lightness and compactness.

Cons: difficult to find faults... it warms up a bit if put under stress by taking very fast and quality photos, but I think it's also normal.. the choice of polyurethane as a material that to the touch is a bit "plastic" maybe I would have preferred a metal alloy ...

Opinion: For more than a year now I have been using this Mirorless I must say that it has changed a lot the way I take photographs, I came from a twenty-year experience with SLR I was a little skeptical about the transition to the new system but I really changed my mind ... Difficult to find flaws in this Canon, autfocus that does not need comments, true revolution of this system, further improved and fine-tuned with recent updates, dynamic range that if they told me before I did not believe it ... on the post production there are recoveries of exposure lights and shadows impressive, keeping the sharpness even at high ISO, very practical control of the settings with customizable rings, very defined internal viewfinder even if I use it very little ... tends to warm up if put under stress but I think it is quite normal, I abstain on commenting on the video part as I do not use it to make videos but only photos .. as I wrote in the cons the choice of polyurethane in my opinion could be more careful, the feeling is that of a robust and modern material but still that sense of plastic ...

Pros: Af, dynamic range, three rings, almost fully customizable controls, bursts, joystick, stabilized sensor, dual sd card, buffer, silentness and operating speeds

Cons: RF optics with a truly absurd price, system closed to third-party optics.

Opinion: Ultimate machine. dynamic range at the level of the best competition, monstrous AF that does not fear any of the three selectable bursts (indeed 4, considering the electronic shutter) and no subject, very quiet mechanical shutter, excellent EVF, three rings, joystick + touch screen both to move in the menus and to move the AF point. the buffer is huge, I bought two normal sd Sandisk extreme (not pro!) and I never had problems slowing down the burst or full buffer. It is the first Canon camera that I own with the autoISO mode working even with the flash attached (in the others it was placed at 400 regardless). But it's also my first fullframe... I don't know if it was a feature that was already present in the past. Coming from old SLR (7D) and ml (M5) the jump is epochal, even with difficult subjects the amount of shots in focus is very high. Recommended without reservation, but have the patience to wait for the combination cashback + online discount from retailers, in this way the savings are really substantial and you find yourself with a new car with warranty Italy at a price lower than what is asked for the used. The "only" 20 mpx are in my opinion a bit 'a false problem, if you do not really need megapixellate, it changes very little from the canonical 24mpx and thanks to the excellent AF on the whole frame actually does not cut out (almost) never. A couple of notes: the screen is the usual Canon flip-up once "opened" on the side of the camera with excellent touch; I would have preferred that only tilt of M3 and M5, shooting cockpit was of a unique comfort. The grip is not very high, I used a smallrig base to increase the height of the camera by that centimeter to always have a support for the little finger. A note on the electronic viewfinder: I read in this forum some interventions that describe it as poor or just sufficient ... I don't doubt that there are better sights, but personally he has never limited me in any way, not even in birdlife. The biggest flaw of this camera are unfortunately the RF optics... the system is closed to third-party manufacturers, the original Canon cost an arm and a leg and when (relatively!) cheap they are either very dark or with STM engine, slow. Fortunately, SLR lenses work perfectly (not all, consult the lists of lenses compatible with the R system that each manufacturer has drawn up!) and can save literally thousands of euros. Absolutely recommended for those who already have Canon lenses at home, those who have to start from scratch also carefully evaluate brands (see Sony) that thanks to third parties can offer a much more complete catalog for prices and performance.

Pros: 20mp, AF, ISO, Burst, Size, Dual SD Memory Slots, Cost

Cons: Dimensions and lightness (If you use heavy optics, or supertele, you must use the BatteryGrip).

Opinion: Alongside my 1 series bodies, it looks like a toy, but in terms of performance and responsiveness, it left me speechless. Excellent 20MP very manageable, if you photograph weddings, sports, and / or birdlife, with its generous burst of 20fps, wrapped the amount of files becomes very consistent, and this means that the cost and management of files does not become an ordeal. Putting a strain on during a sporting event, with the right AF settings, allowed me to take home more shots perfectly in focus, even in very critical conditions, promoted in full (I dare not think of the R3).

Pros: Autofocus, General speed, Old lens compatibility, quiet, dynamic range, iso

Cons: ergonomics, button and dial customization, button position, battery life, heavy lens balance, etc. etc...

Opinion: I only list the things I don't like, since we all know the positive qualities. I thought that by switching to the R6 from the 5D4 I would find the same ergonomics and the same functionality of the old buttons and dials and instead exactly this was not the case. 1- I just can't stand the slippery SD door for opening, why didn't they do it rubberized like the rest of the handle? 2- I can't stand the impossibility of choosing which function to give to some buttons that are useless for me, such as that of the RATE, I would gladly put the PLAY button, the same thing for some rings to which I would completely change the function. 3- Ergonomics, especially with the ADAPTER mounted EF, it unbalances the weight too much, I partially solved with a plate to be hooked under the base. 4- The viewfinder, especially in low light, is not that it is really great. In the two Fuji that I have all this does not happen. 5- Is it possible that when an SD card is saturated you only warn me when I no longer have even one shot available? It's not just Canon's this problem but it would be time for them to fix it!! 6- A few more Mpixels would not hurt anyone! That said, I don't consider it the worthy heir to 5DIV, I'll probably keep it until what I want comes out of Canon.

Pros: Autofocus, dual memory slots, rugged customization, dynamic range

Cons: White balance resolution

Opinion: I came from a 6D and it was a generational leap... the autofocus is wonderful and the tracking is rarely wrong. I really like the complete customization of the menu .. now I go from one shot to servo and from single shot to burst with directly from the function keys in a single move and this is very convenient for me who do reportage mainly. I am not convinced by the color of the photos that must be worked otherwise it is slightly kneaded but it is something that I solved by creating a dedicated lightroom preset. for the rest it is light, the burst is scary and I also really like the electronic shutter, really comfortable in some situations. the only thing I miss is the display with the shooting settings but I will get used to it soon since now I shoot practically always in live view ...

Pros: High ISO seal, price, weight, autofocus

Cons: Resolution, no quick controls for AF type, menu "Q" not touch screen, lack of screen with shooting settings, viewfinder

Opinion: I come from a Canon 5D Mark IV and after several months of use I must say that I still lack the quick commands for the AI switch servo / one shot and burst. In addition, the convenient "Q" menu where you had everything at hand you can only see but not "click" to change the various parameters. These shortcomings sometimes make it less fast to use the camera. The yield at high ISO is very good but the resolution is really at the limit of decent, even just a couple of megapixels more would have been enough.

Pros: I don't know yet, I've had it for 7 days.

Cons: I still have to get used to it, I come from a Canon 1DX mk II, a tank compared to the R6

Opinion: for now I am very doubtful: first use with Canon 100-500: late afternoon with still discreet light, a barn owl arrives in the shaded area, I frame and press the shutter in half, the scene appears illumunata for a few seconds and then darkens almost in the dark. This is repeated every time I try to shoot . on the display the images appeared almost black, with the barn owl barely visible. In post-production I was able to get decent images. Is this normal?

Pros: autofocus, image quality, general speed, ergonomics, weight, viewfinder, keys and rings, ui, customization

Cons: screen articulation: I would have preferred only tilt; aesthetics: unappealing and a bit toy

Opinion: I took the R6 after having had the 5d4 for two years and used it in various situations for more than 6 months. Compared to the 5D I gained lightness, volume, operating speed, precision and speed af, evf, a third customizable ring, 1 stop of dynamic range (...), silent shooting and articulated screen; I lost 33% resolution (but not detail, the 5D4 has the AA filter much more intrusive, in fact the R6 rarely shows moire'), the main screen slightly smaller, screen on the shoulder disappeared (although now and' really not very useful in my opinion, all the info is in the viewfinder), ovf. The beauty of the optical viewfinder is now unsurpassed, but the good evf are very close (and that of the R6 is excellent), the evf from its has the great advantage of showing directly how the photo is exposed: very useful in the presence of strong lights / shadows, and makes the manual shot much more pleasant, even with vintage optics. Beyond the comparisons, I think this R6 is really exceptional, the reasons why I took it are all the pros listed in the comparison with the 5d, in particular af, weight, size, usability with vintage optics. The AF is really amazing, an absurd leap in quality, for the details there are many reviews, to the undecided I recommend trying it! The files produced are at the top, as well as the colors. The electronic shutter, even if it is not stacked, has an excellent reading time... The compact size and the low weight, as well as allowing me to carry more equipment on the same level as a bag / backpack, have allowed me to build a small set of compact and light lenses to travel very light, maintaining quality and flexibility at an excellent level. The reduced draft (like all ML) allows me to use all the analog lenses I have without problems, for fun and for pleasure :) The construction quality in my opinion is very high, and it does not seem inferior to 5D as others point out ... only the articulated screen is less robust, but it is for construction, there is little to do! I think this R6 was a great buy, the price although it is higher than the previous 6d2 (with which it has nothing in common, but just zero!) is absolutely competitive in the market given its performance!

Pros: Incredible autofocus: difficult to take a shot out of focus. Easy handling and robustness at the same time. High ISO tightness and battery life compared to other mirrorless ones I've come into contact with. Fabulous and realistic colors.

Cons: Maybe the price. I would have preferred more resolution.

Opinion: I finally found the camera that's right for me. I come from a Canon 5D Mark III that I kept anyway and I essentially do naturalistic photographs from the shed. The eye tracking feature is something exceptional, an absolutely fulfilling experience. Yesterday, the first time I used the camera, together with a friend of mine who owns the R5, on 300 shots, not one came blurred, something incredible. The 5D, despite being an excellent SLR, absolutely does not stand comparison, since I normally threw more than half of the shots. What can I say, with this first release I am really satisfied. I will then add something else in the short term. Great job Canon.

Pros: Flagship sensor quality; Responsiveness, consistency and AF accuracy; Customization; Viewfinder; Articulated monitor; BT and WiFi connections; Double UHSII; Joystik; Rings; RF/EF adapter; FHD and 4k video quality and customization; Battery life; Electronic Shutter; 20fps with ES and 12fps with the mechanic; Good ergonomics. Easy and complete menu; Quality/price ratio of RF STM lenses; Price in relation to what it offers (paid 2,200).

Cons: Price RF L series lenses too expensive even if of high quality.

Opinion: I took it as a replacement for the 7DII to use it mainly in fast, naturalistic, sport and motorsport birdlife. In two words, excellent EyeAF/AF and excellent sensor. Good elasticity of files in post production. Give it adequate RF lenses (but even with the old EF it does not joke) and it will not fail to amaze you with the beauty of its files. All-round machine for quality and consistency, practical, fast, solid companion for both amateur and professional use. Recommended for all types of photographers and photography.

Pros: Responsiveness, noise containment at high iso, autofocus.

Cons: None, if you take into account the segment in which it is located.

Opinion: I believe that, at present, Canon is the product with the best value for money. For the video sector I can not pronounce myself not being up to do it, while for photography I find, honestly, difficult to find defects, just as it is difficult to put it in difficulty. It focuses in unthinkable light conditions and contains very, very well the noise as the iso rises. The autofocus module is highly performing, with the latest firmware update it also "recognizes" vehicles, the stabilizer on the sensor is effective and the overall responsiveness of the machine is worthy of a flagship. The battery also lasts longer than expected. Last but not least, like its sister R5, through Canon adapters, it works extraordinarily well and in tune with the slightly older EF lenses. Finally, the colors returned are very natural and the files are very well workable. At the limit you can feel the lack of the upper display and some other key, ergonomically speaking, but I repeat for the class of cameras in which it is placed and for the sale price, you really can not object to anything else.

Pros: Autofocus and overall performance

Cons: Low resolution display

Opinion: It took me a year to buy it or rather to decide to do it and I clarify it immediately: not because it is not an exceptional camera, but because I wondered and continue to wonder about what phase in my photographic evolution I am going through. I think the best definition of the R6 was given by Canon itself: a content creation machine. If I analyze 90% of my photographic activity of the last decade, that is, portraits set and street, well, then not only did my 5D Mark III continue to go wonderfully well but it would also go a Nikon Z5 to say the first that comes to mind with a justified and justifiable price. However, I believe that we could be in a new phase of Photography, understanding it as increasingly integrated between images and videos and that makes sport, music and social events more and more 'visual'; In this sense and in the desire to learn how to create 'videophotographic' content I bring back my choice of address. I will not dwell on strengths and weaknesses because they are already perfectly identified by those who preceded me in the reviews, but I would like to leave you some numbers of the first use of the R6 as soon as it is removed from the box. Indoor shooting in the room of a B & B, the usual 15 square meters scarce, gray afternoon, a couple of equally dark windows, a model and a couple of outfits to be distributed between bed and entrance, portable LED and zoom kit, an hour and a quarter total from the first to the last shot. Result. About 500 shots, of which 40 blurred or out of focus and 20 selected final shots processed and stored as a summary of the shooting. Never an uncertainty of the autofocus, battery that consumes the right, great handling of the camera body, menus and commands centered and never superfluous. The photos to the PC finally?! Different from those I was used to with SLRs, less round and full, albeit with pleasant colors and excellent sharpness; But I look at the shooting data and I discover that I took some at 5000 ISO and 1/60 handheld perfectly in focus and without shake! Then I remembered an episode a few years ago in Austria, when in very similar circumstances I regretted because many photos had an annoying grain to be eliminated in post production and many were affected by shake. That unwelcome limit I had touched was only 1250 iso. Welcome future!

Pros: Autofocus, high iso seal, speed of use and much more that I have not yet discovered

Cons: perhaps a dancer behavior for automatic iso in the presence of strong contrasts

Opinion: Well yes, I made the jump I took the R6 !!! I must say that first impressions are great. Amazing autofocus . good viewfinder, although it seems strange to me, returns files rich in detail and an embarrassing sharpness. It allows unexpected cutouts despite the "only" 20 million pixels, I dare not imagine what the R5 does. I only have a doubt about the automatic ISO and the white balance both put in crisis in the presence of strong contrasts of light and quality of different lights, something that does not happen to me with the 6DII that I do not abandon. Maybe it's just my fault that I sang some adjustments. I did not have too much time to study it, arrived on Thursday, on Sunday we were shooting in one of the most absurd places that has happened to me from the point of view of quality of light. The high iso seal is better than what you might expect. My EF lenses, all L series, seem to be reborn to new life, especially the old 100,400 which probably needs to be calibrated for the 6DII. Fantastic stabilization, I shot with the 100,400 to 400 mm with extender 1.4 and crop in the room 1.6 freehand, at a 125 ° of sec, without the slightest presence of microwavy, with the 6DII I dream. The RAW files seem to me very workable but I reserve a more in-depth evaluation, for the JPg I must say that they do not need too many corrections they have a " modern " look with saturated and contrasted colors that are very good for the dog races that I am shooting in this period. The 6DII will remain with me, it will be my easel machine and landscapes, the colors seem to me more responsive to my tastes for these genres but the R6 will be my warrior for races and "fast" photography in general. What can I say, excellent first impressions, I do not recommend it just because you could compete with me. Updates follow.

Pros: Autofocus, stabilization, quietness, lightness, high iso image quality.

Cons: nothing.

Opinion: I bought it especially for its autofocus, for its deadly recognition face eyes on animals, since I'm passionate about photo hunting. It has a good lightness and is equipped with a sensor with stabilization that makes everything easier. It has both mechanical shutter with 12 fps or if you want to be imperceptible the electronic with 20 fps. I noticed that it has a very good image quality even at high isos and has the articulated display always very useful. Good mom Canon.

Pros: Lightness, quietness (I come from 1DX), low noise, ergonomics, double slots, excellent file workability, 20MP, articulated display, aesthetics, on-board stabilization.

Cons: Annoyingly shaky viewfinder during horizontal movements, very articulated menu: many (too many) options.

Opinion: Purchased about 2 months ago, it was not love at first sight but, shot after shot, it was able to conquer me. I photograph especially concerts in the theater and the beloved 1DX, although excellent, was too noisy ... hence the choice to switch to mirrorless. I chose the R6, over the R5, for essentially four reasons: 1. the price, 2. I use AF at -6.5EV, 3. optimal operating flow with 20.1MP, 4. the 8K is not of interest to me. Along with it I also took the EF-RF adapter to use the substantial optical kit already in my possession. With the adapter the EF lenses, all L series, behaved indistinguishably from using with the previous 1DX. I immediately appreciated the focus function with face-eye tracking: it doesn't miss a beat, not even at 20fps. Given the operating conditions (theater) often use very high ISO 12800, the R6 returns RAW files easily workable with PhotoShop. The colors are very faithful and the images possess an exceptional three-dimensionality. As mentioned, the viewfinder is not yet up to the optical one but, with a little use, you get used to it. Machine certainly recommended but you must carefully read the over 900 pages of the manual to set it in relation to your needs.

Pros: resistance, dual sd slots, sharpness

Cons: distorted colors, especially red. Video with non-realistic colors, 20 megapixels, the price

Opinion: I bought this camera and kept it only for a week, I tried it with several lenses and with all of them it performed very well with regard to the quality of the focus. But since I'm not a videomaker, I was shocked by the poor video quality and above all by the colors not very realistic and off. I tried all the customization profiles, but the RED for this camera does not exist, sometimes it turns it into magenta, sometimes into violet sometimes into brownish. The files are clean. Even raw does not need any manipulation. I didn't get to see if it overheated, also because I made very short videos in 4k. For the price it costs it is disappointing, obviously for me. I'm sure you need special precautions to adjust the colors and maybe updating the firmaware, probably there would have been a change. But I had the chance to go back to the shopkeeper and I did. The lack of megapixels is "heavy".

Pros: all

Cons: nothing

Opinion: Bought for about 2 months, what about? I got the desire to take pictures back. I gave back the Sony 7ll and took the Canon R6. are 2 different worlds, The R6 has a really great stabilizer, now I'm using goals that I had bought and almost never used, like the 180 macro L. the 135/2 L. 85/1.2 Lll. that with age I could no longer have my hand still, now with the R6 they have all become stabilized and with really fast autofocus. Although Sony was stabilized autofocus with Canon lenses it was tremendously slow and nothing to do with the R6. The files he churns out even though I only photograph on Raw, are as beautiful as they are.

Pros: all

Cons: Compared to the R5 the menu has a few fewer function, but little stuff.

Opinion: Same opinion I wrote for R5. Identical as file yield, imperceptible differences only if you start croppare at 200%. Slightly lighter than her sister but efficiency itself. Great car. Excellent not only as a double body but also and above all individually. Double SD card slot always comfortable. IBS only works with some third-party optics, and activates automatically when needed. It also applies to Canon lenses and always depends on the lens stabilizer and at what times you shoot. You don't notice and there are no warnings in the crosshairs. They're no use. Very convenient if you want to use some lens without stabilizer. Same battery yield efficiency as for the R5, over 3400 shots. The BG-R10 is fine on this one too. Excellent materials as per Canon tradition. The backward compatibility of the LP-E6N batteries is very intelligent.

Pros: Quick spectacular autofocus and precise eye-to-face trek on animals not to be believed hooks the eye even from far away. Very realistic electronic viewfinder. 20 FPS.shatter electronic Silent and become invisible. 2 SD slots. Using EF lenses, battery life .

Cons: Body a little plastic. Manual focus with Canon EF lenses does not go MF peaking. Very slow 2x III extender. Free kit management from Canon Ridicola. RF Optical Cost.

Opinion: I have this Mirrorless since October 2020 and after 7 months of use I can only say that it is Fantastic, it has a very performing AF and the hooking with the subject is really instantaneous. Coming from Canon 1DX the difference in performance cè, has everything I had with the 1DX but with a very fast AF, I like to shoot at 20fps and with electronic shooting you are invisible because it is silent. Shooting with the closed display the battery level is very high LP-E6NH about 3000-4000 shots, with the smallest LP-E6 2000-2500 shots. I like the double slot for SD memories... I like the feeling that has been created with this machine because all the controls are at the fingertips. I would have liked not only vintage mf peaking optics to work properly BUT also with the AF Canon lenses put in MF the R6 gives you the way to focus only with square and two rods, the MF peaking with Vintage lenses equipped with chip does not work.... we expect a possible update from Canon. 2x III extender with Canon 300mm f2.8 compared to the 1DX is very slow and sometimes even if you use the original canon EF RF ring the R6 goes to Block.. here too we are waiting for an update from Canon. Of Canon I did not like the management of the free kit which was an adapter ring, this kit arrived after 5 months... according to Canon I had to wait 5 months to start using the R6?... Ridiculous... Canon policy on failed kit management. Of course I immediately took a non-original ring, the latter modified to be able to use the ND and Ir filters. Although rf optics are sharper "so they say" the price is still too high at the moment, you can have excellent sharpness even with EF optics. Currently the only inexpensive optics is the 24-105 stm rf which "so they say" that it is crisp but platical. ultimately I'm counting on the purchase I made and I recommend it to everyone.

Pros: autofocus, sensor, detailed video full of details, three wheels for iso av tv, optical viewfinder, battery life, silent shooting, double slot sd, machine sensor coverage off

Cons: lack of video recording on dual slot, non-customizable rate button, weight not so low, with rf-ef adapter and 40mm is not so compact

Opinion: I felt the need to replace my canon 6D mark II as I started hearing the famous limits they said they had: videos not at the level of other cameras and quite poor shadow recovery. How's this Canon R6? I'd say it's a phenomenal camera! Merits: - a spectacular autofocus! it is in focus in the dark and also manages to detect the person's eye! if the sensor feels distressed, skill a red LED to help you focus! - equally spectacular electronic viewfinder! you can see everything and you already understand if you are exposing yourself to perfection or if you give a fix - three wheels for AV TV and ISO, very convenient when using everything in manual mode - customizable buttons, practically all of them - focus points, it is on 100% of the sensor - eye detection, always takes it - dynamic range, really great! it is possible to recover the shadows and details well without color degradation - possibility to use EF and EF-S optics in addition to RF optics - adjustable display - headphone output - silent shot more than perfect for weddings and street photography - stabilization on the sensor, applicable in case an optics is not stabilized. I think it is a very great solution, because it is saved on the stabilized optics and therefore also on the weight! - double slot sd - really great videos! nothing to do with the 6D mark II that were kneaded and poorly detailed, as well as poor recovery of details and colors, creating annoying artifacts - possibility to record in c-log 10bit, still to be tested - 20 shots per second with electronic shutter and 12 with mechanical one - sensor coverage when changing lens! only canon adopts this system! Cons: - switch to 120fps video mode a bit cumbersome, but nothing transcendental - the RATE button is not customizable - record videos only on an sd, so lack of backup - maybe not really light, but it doesn't bother me - ability to view the image both on the internal monitor and on an external one while recording the videos. it would have been useful for focusing, but that's the way it is on all canons Well, in summary I would say it's a great camera! I don't know if it makes sense to buy the R5 which is very expensive (4500 euros) which has 45mpx, instead of 20mpx. The video department is interesting. I still don't care about filming in 4K, but having the very good 1080p and this camera is satisfying me 100%! I didn't notice any overheating issues and the battery currently lasts me just enough to be a mirrorless. it is a camera that I recommend, to those like me, who need to photograph but also make videos, having a really fantastic autofocus! mirrorless is the future and canon has churned out a huge product! congratulations and I'm glad I bought it!

Pros: lightweight, great stabilizer, excellent sensor, best autofocus in the world

Cons: nobody, not even the price

Opinion: I've recently moved on to this technology. I have to say that the first impressions are really excellent! stabilization, along with 70-200 rf 2.8, is monstrous. autofocus is unbeatable. 9 out of 10 reviews give the r6 paired with rf optics as the best in the world. Compared to R, we're on another planet. I don't recommend buying it because we're competitors?

Pros: AF, speed, holds well in hand, customizable, a smaller 1DX III.

Cons: I have not yet found any, although with some updates I find the use very practical, in line with the philosophy of Canon cameras.

Opinion: I've had it for a month, I tried it at a snowmobile race and it freaked me out for fast focus, precise with 20 frames per second. I didn't have to retouch the (raw) photos until I took off a thread of lights, the third key under exposure and contrast in Bridge. Tried at home in the dim light of the living room lamp and TV, I made a portrait of my wife with 1/15 f1.2 ISO 800 (RF 50mm): a show! A great compromise between the R5 and 1DX III. and at a lower cost.

Pros: Autofocus, ease of use, accessible controls, fantastic viewfinder, burst.

Cons: cost, accessory cost

Opinion: Given that such a camera is far superior to my photography skills I have given myself a gift for 60 years... So I have this camera since December 2020, and it replaced the 6DmkII that I was quite satisfied with. The reason for the change was because of the burst and the characteristics of autofocus. Everything as I had hoped, especially the autofocus is spectacular and works great with canon, tamron and sigma optics. Yes, maybe with the tamron's 150-600 G2 it's not as fast as you'd like but I'll make a reason for it, for the nature photo it's a bomb. AF priority eyes is crazy. The easily accessible and programmable cone controls, really comfortable and, personally, I do not miss the top screen: you can do everything from the viewfinder. The ergonomics are excellent although I preferred to add a plate with a swiss ark attachment to increase the grip on the right hand. I would gladly buy a battery grip wasn't that the cost is really embarrassing, something closer to extortion than selling. Canon's Choices :-) The resistance to high ISO is also spectacular, already the 6DmkII was excellent but with this you level up. 20 mp are few? it may be, I actually took some shots with the 150-600 G2 to very distant and croppando subjects, I did not notice an excessive loss of quality. The viewfinder: coming from 40 years of reflex (analog first and then digital) a big stumbling block to the purchase of a mirrorless was the quality of the viewfinder, without taking anything away from the goodness of the camera I had tried an A7IIIR without buying it precisely because of the quality, to my feeling, of the image in the viewfinder. On the R6 you almost don't realize it's an electronic viewfinder other than for the chance to preview what the shot will look like, which is a crazy fixxta. Making it short: it is expensive, very expensive but I am happy with the purchase. Ah, I don't make videos.

Pros: Screaming autofocus, image quality, ease of use, ergonomics, perfect compatibility with EF lenses

Cons: Ability to record videos on two cards at the same time

Opinion: It is undoubtedly the best machine I have ever owned. Its main strength is autofocus, really stunning, it doesn't miss one. Image quality at the top from all points of view (iso, dynamic range, colors), 20 mp in my opinion perfect, at least for my use (maybe if you do landscapes or architecture they can serve more MP, it depends on what you buy it for). Beautiful aesthetically, it grips perfectly and is very easy to use. Video side yet I haven't tried it thoroughly, surely they should implement the ability to record on both tabs at once. There is talk of overheating, but I cannot comment on it. Anyway, a great machine.

Pros: What about the spectacular quick and precise eye-to-face trek on crazy animals when hooking it no longer lets it go. Hold high iso excellent dynamic range excellent recovery shadows and lights also the excellent viewfinder.

Cons: Nothing at the moment.

Opinion: I have to say that I have had it for two weeks so I have not yet exploited its potential but I must say that I was surprised not least that especially I practice 99% naturalistic photos and so far I have not disappointed in the slightest indeed. I combined it with the excellent 800 f/11 and the Tamron 150-600 G2 also as weights is very contained in my opinion to be combined with the battery grip. In any case for those like me who practice naturalistic photos I recommend it 100% will not disappoint in its performance.

Pros: IBIS, autofocus and eye tracking. burst, double slot, low high iso noise. Transition from very "smart" REFLEX. New ring and almost all programmable buttons at will.

Cons: maybe a little bit of the resolution.. Too bad! only 20Mpx .. machine profiles in adobe are still missing! Video coparto a little small. Price

Opinion: I've been using the R6 from the EOS 5D Mk3 for about a while now and I have to say I'm excited about it! Switching from the 5D reflex was really very easy! The R6 in basic settings can be used exactly like a normal SLR. The classic setting of buttons and rings is also the canon standard setting. Which means that those who already use canon adapt almost immediately to the new machine! it is more compact than SLRs, but retains the same battery shape as the 5D series. Which means good grip and grip of the camera that doesn't make the use of the additional battery grip fundamental. The strengths are the internal stabilizer on the sensor and a spectacular autofocus active on 100% of the sensor! I miss a little more resolution (20megapixels are a little less than the union minimum against a price that is not very cheap!), but I admit that with the R6, since it is no longer necessary to recompose the image after focus, I miss a lot less photos and I almost do not cropping or post adjustments anymore. The color profiles of the machine are still missing in the most well-known commercial software but it is a problem that they will solve soon. It has a nice fast burst and in electronic shutter comes to 20 frames per second! With a gigantic memory cash of over 200 raw! The video industry is much more skimpy than its older sister.. and pressing the rec button (when video mode is not selected) starts the video all automatically. For video adjustments up you have to turn the ring on video! The list of possibilities of the new canon family room are still many, but I found myself in all of them very well! Follow a few videos on youtube to get into the meanderings of the best AF configurations! The manual is really a little skimpy! I only add rf optical adapter speech. At the moment not having rf lenses in my optical park I am using canon and third-party EF lenses. They all work very well and I have not noticed any major problems at the moment. Surely the adapter unbalances the camera a bit by moving the weight of the lens forward.. But.. let's see for the future!

Pros: Size, autofocus, dual slot sd

Cons: Price, lack of top display, battery grip at an unmissable price

Opinion: Tried for two weeks. Compared to a 6D Mark II canon that I currently have. From a photographic point of view I denote an improvement only from the point of view of the car focus hooks the eyes or face and no longer gives up the subject in liveview mode and the presence of the double slot sd. From the point of view of file quality, high iso seal and shadow recovery, I don't see any improvement over the 6D Mark II files I have, which I consider identical. From a video point of view I can not give any judgment as I use the REFLEX only in the photographic field. In conclusion I decided at the time not to take it and keep the 6D Mark II. As the r6 costs twice as much as the Canon 6D Mark II and for my current use (photo only) I do not justify its expense, especially because, take me crazy but at times the old viewfinder of the 6D Mark II has a higher responsiveness than the electronic viewfinder... I would also add that the battery grip of the r6 costs 500 euros... Madness.... it is identical to that of the 6D mark II which costs 140.... I think the correct price of the r6 should be around 1800 to justify its spending... I will probably evaluate its passage when it comes down sharply in price.

Pros: All the comforts of a bridge with the quality and handling of a reflex

Cons: Optional outdated battery grip

Opinion: I took it recently taking advantage of the offers of the period, in the standard kit there was the 24-105 f4-7.1 (I still do not understand the meaning of these dark optics); I didn't even mount it, I opted for the RF 24-70 f.2.8 IS which works excellently with this type of body. The first impressions were positive, after reading many comments I was disturbed by the lack of the top display, instead I adapted immediately by checking the various adjustments on the viewfinder or main display, perhaps this system makes the setting even faster (all this however at the expense of a shorter battery life). Customization is the strong point of this machine, with every key or roll you can do what you want; Not least the additional ring in the case of rf L optics. I do not dwell on the qualities of the AF because I have not yet tried it with moving subjects, the menu is still very similar to the 7DII or 5DIII so I did not have much difficulty understanding it. Another very convenient thing is the real-time exposure visible on the viewfinder, definitely comfortable compared to a traditional REFLEX, this allows me to guess the right exposure already from the first shot (for those who obviously like me work only in manual, you are less slaves to the exposure meter). Even the adjustable display is obviously a gem, in addition to all the merits mentioned by closing it turned around it always remains well protected from accidental swipes. The files look good to me, good even the high iso seal, definitely better than the other two cameras mentioned above. The machine has always found it unplastic and finished very well like all canons, combined with the RF 24-70 you feel the lack of a battery grip to hold it in a serious way; precisely in this landslide I found the combined battery grip obsolete, I find it absurd to charge 400€ a handle that has nothing innovative. With such a machine it would have been nice to introduce thinner batteries so as to churn out a less bulky battery grip and finally with quick attack by retirement that horrible roll. Of course, wi-fi for file transfer and remote control via app was a must these days, not least the ability to sweep all over the viewfinder with the af point without losing reliability.

Pros: Double slot, ibis

Cons: They got a panda and wanted him to do the 200 km per hour!

Opinion: I would like to start by pointing out that after 45 years as a photographer I tried everything and more, my passion for photography led me to try this R6 given the favorable reviews made by others. When I try a new machine I do it comparing it with what I consider the best for its category and in this case mirrorless, setting the same parameters on both (iso, time, diaphragm, photo style etc. everything) and shooting with the same lens to the same subject one shot after another. In this case I compared the Eos R6 (price €.2850.00) with the Eos R (price €.1900.00). my opinion: R6, I also had the same impression in taking it in the hands of those who have already preceded me in a review and that is a "plasticona" described well saying that it seems to go from a 5D mk4 to a 6D mk2. Viewfinder: I had read somewhere that it has the same viewfinder as the R (the best I have seen so far, not even Sony has so beautiful), well in the fast lateral movements it is "snappy" and not as fluid as that of the R. (On the model I tried) Stabilizer: you work well something you earn compared to the R that is only on the objectives. But beyond all these purely manual considerations we come to the point that we are most interested and that is the FILE ! At first glance seeing them alone (without comparison) you immediately get a huao! look very nice, then you take the R's and compare them and....... Slightly below exposed, however, I must say that those of R are slightly overexposed, but in the end there is about half a stop, which turned into an iso that is that the with the R I can shoot with a lower sensitivity. Sharpness: Those of the R6 look sharper, but the reason is that they are very contrasted, an exaggerated contrast mask, which can be noticed by the edges too accentuated. (I tried with DPP to change the parameters by decreasing the contrast, but in my opinion the edges are always too contrasted while making the image soft. Color: Good in line with all Canons. Good dynamic range, but more or less like the R (Sony succeeds better) Noise: Even here there is a nice speech, the file as it comes out has less noise than those of the R with the same iso, on the other hand it is normal given the 20 megapixels of the R6 against the 30 megapixels of the R, but there is a however..... R6 files measure 5472x3648 pixels while R files measure 6720x4480 pixels about a third larger. Suppose we print a photo 50x70cm We open Photoshop and resize the two files, here we have to enlarge them more with the logical consequence that even the noise gets bigger and in the end you have more noise on the R6 ! Conclusion I keep my R at the moment and I will see if I have the opportunity to try the R5, why would one spend almost 1000 euros more for the R6 of the R to have the double go down and the ibis having a worse file? to you the choice for the work you have to do.

Pros: Simplicity of disarming use; possibility of customization; an amazing AF module for consistency, responsiveness and precision; an IBIS of absolute value; excellent HIGH ISO quality; the ability to use the endless EF lens park; sensor and processor directly derived from that of the Admiral reflex (less than half the price); an excellent Dynamic Range; an ultrafast burst (12 FPS or 20 FPS depending on whether you choose the mechanical or electronic shutter); perfect ergonomics; an electronic viewfinder that surprised me pleasantly, although set on "battery saving" and not on "fluid" the pleasantness of use is absolute and the difference with the OVF practically nothing; the impression on the build quality is great; The articulated LCD rear monitor is of incredible comfort; the double slot is an indispensable plus; positively affected by the battery life (a portrait session with review of the same lasts about 1,200 shots, many more than those declared by Canon).

Cons: Rolling shutter presence (although contained to be a non-stacked sensor) when using the electronic octogenator; Although the electronic viewfinder has countless information a superior LCD panel would have been welcome for an immediate consultation of the basic parameters of the machine. Personally I would have opted in the design phase O in Fuji style dials (wonderful) Or for a solution similar to the one implemented in the R5.

Pros: everything (AF, burst, general fluidity)

Cons: not all options are available with third-party optics.

Opinion: What to say. A spectacular machine, it makes very little mistake like AF. Plus, dozens of photos per second without jamming. kind of a monster compared to almost any other camera. Fluidity almost in all (swallow files as if they were tablets, always responsive menus - only slowing down only in playback when classifying files). Especially a machine that almost always understands what you want and lets you photograph. even with 1.4 optics. A monster. The handle and general ergonomics are very good. Also impressed is the battery life and wifi which is a splinter. As body refinement machine Canon did not tell lie we are at the levels of the 6d2 (and not of the 5d4). Robust and reliable but a more cheap thread than the R. Cmq acceptable for those like me who do not use it in absurd climatic conditions. The only flaw is that maximum performance could remain foreclosed if you don't have Canon mom optics. The machine works well but maybe the gust is a little slower. Similar to the speech with the stabilizer: on non-native wide angles can go into confusion. I didn't do any repeated tests, better search on the net. But it's clear that Canon doesn't want to favor the old competitors and optics. Anyway, even then you have a beautiful beast not stabilized by 10fps... Not bad.. There's still a drop of rolling shutter. but what do I say to do? It is known that it does not have the global shutter and that for now this will be reserved for the top of the range in the near future.

Pros: Light, performance, IBIS, price, autofocus

Cons: Top screen missing, sensor "only" 20mpx

Opinion: Great car. I took it while waiting for the arrival of the R5 and I must say that it amazed me on all fronts. Very light, I was amazed by the AF module, performance and precise, much better than I expected. The sensor is "small" but allows you to have much lighter files, managed very well by the double SD slot. In my opinion it is absolutely the best machine for those who want to approach mirrorless Canon without selling a kidney for the R5 but with a much better product than the R and RP.

Pros: Ergonomics, HIGH ISO hold, stabilization, reflex-like operational speed

Cons: another extra function key wouldn't hurt...

Opinion: Taken mainly for its extraordinary ergonomics, for the fully articulated and touch display, for the efficiency of the stabilization of its sensor and for the Canon optics! The R6 is held as if it were a reflex. Keeping ISO great, it is rumoured that the sensor is the same as the 1DX Mark III.... Gust and autofocus single and continuous excellent, but having Sony A7III and having also had Sony A7r4 I'm already used very well. Eye focus that borders on perfection, very similar to that of Sony, so very efficient... The buffer almost never fills up especially if you use fast SD cards. Operating speed very close to the SLRs, as soon as it starts it is immediately ready to shoot. Files that are quietly workable and clean, but even in this case I am used very well with the RAW files of Sony sensors that in my opinion remain the best to work. Canon classic and embodied colormetry that never disappoints. Maybe another extra function key wouldn't have hurt... Battery that was a sweet surprise, definitely more durable than the figure stated by the house... by dismantling the menus a lot and shooting I got to about 600 shots and still I had about half the battery. For the video part I don't pronounce myself. Ultimately, the R6 seems to me to be a very good, very complete camera that captures the ergonomics and operational speed of reflexes by adding mirrorless camera technologies.

Pros: image quality, ibs, burst, af, ergonomics, high ISO hold

Cons: the only thing I'm sorry is nn have the display over, which for the price they could leave

Opinion: Canon eos r6 is a mirrorless with professional sport use, burst, stabilizer etc coming from 6d, 6dmark2 .5dmk3 and I have to say that the image quality in my opinion is excellent, l I took in kit with the rf 24-105 nn l that left me amazing by the sharpness, resistant to the flare eccgonable to the ef series, much lower quality. overall the animal eye tracking /person is excellent for now nn misses a shot, the battery is very underrated by canon that supports 400 shots, I personally use both live and with sighted I shot 1012scats and I had some shots still available.

Pros: Light and handy, autofocus, reading exposure, battery consumption etc etc.

Cons: nothing for now

Opinion: First approach with the Canon Eos R6 tried on the field during the friendly Frosinone - Rome. Take 1048 shots during the encounter, all perfectly in focus! He practically doesn't miss a beat. Used mechanical shutter at 12 Fps. The iso outfit seems really good to me (I'll have a chance to test it more specifically). Surprise.. it reads everywhere of the poor battery life (I read 350 / 400 shots on the forum headlights ).. what to say, I made 1048 shots and the battery charge is at 42%... Really a gem this Canon. If you are going to buy it I advise you not to waste time.

Pros: Af very performing with moving subjects, very quiet, held at high iso, intuitive controls, also recommended to a professional.

Cons: Very bland pastime filter that favors artifacts in fashion.

Opinion: Today 4 hours of shots for a fashion catalog: silent machine to the point that the models do not understand when to make the change of pose, AF without super responsive and precise uncertainties, at f 1.2 did not get one wrong. Light and clean files, today I had no way to climb with isos. It seems to me that it submits slightly but it will be to be true. AV or TV adjustments, ISO and very comfortable exposure through the rings. It seems to me that energy consumption is higher than a RP for the same use, but it is there. I found it a very good working tool, practically just an hour before the shooting I had set it slightly and during the work I never had any uncertainties. The only thing sometimes does the AF point become so small that you do not understand where you are but it is of little importance as it always goes precise on the eye. I highly recommend it to those who do not need mega sensors. Only in appearance is slightly more discharged than the R but what matters is the substance.

Pros: the return of the joystick (also on the grip battery), a nice af key protruding and in the right position, a more fat and comfortable ergonomics with the beautiful roll and the set button separated by the Q key, a view finder worthy of the name, finally the mechanical 12 fps burst even in the mirrorless world, the IBIS, the double slot, a performance and safe AF , zero viewing delay in action photos, silent even in mechanical and fast as a professional, a nice clean file and high lso seal, tracking on animals that really works, what else?

Cons: I have tried little, but it seems to me that the battery (I pair in the BG a new H with an old normal) in case of use of the view finder with the fast refresh at 120fps will consume faster than in the R... It is also true that with the new camera you continue to enter and exit from every setting (given the enthusiasm of the new game). I don't have any more against me right now.

Pros: Photo side is much, much better than the R and much better than the 5d4, cameras that I've had long enough. Video side is similar to the R, so very good, with the same possibilities of customizing buttons. In addition there is the Ibis that I have yet to understand well.

Cons: The only con I see now is that it gives you the feeling of being much more "cheap" than the R, less refined. You feel the same thing going from a 5d4 to a 6d2

Opinion: I took it too little to say anything specific, but... the af and the burst remind me so much of a muted 1dx :D Photographically, it's light years ahead of the 5 series reflexes, even ahead of the old 1dx. The file is the canon one, usual colors, more or less the same dynamic range of R and 5d4, in short, is a beautiful beast. In my opinion it is great for those like me who have to go from sport to theater and in the middle make a web series in the mountains.
