Pros: Lightweight, compact, electronic viewfinder, adjustable display, lightweight lenses, quality-price

Cons: Lack of a second ring, sharpness and overall image quality, is an APS-C

Opinion: My first purchase that took me into the world of mirrorless. Possibility to create a kit with all the focals really with an affordable budget for everyone (from 11 to 200mm), without neglecting anything. It has pretty much everything you need for a photo-amateur or anyone who needs a lightweight, handy and durable machine body. I think I have brought to the limit the RAW that it generates, even with great satisfaction. The lenses of the EF-M series are well made, compact and easy to handle and for travelers it is a great advantage. To date, after 3 years for the budget spent I am very satisfied, but maybe I should have looked at the Sony APS-Cs of the 6000 series as well; With the same sensor, Sony brings out the highest level of images, sharper, more detailed and with a higher dynamic range. Be aware, however, that it is an entry level and the quality of the FF cannot be achieved in any case even by pushing the camera's hardware capabilities to the maximum.

Pros: Affordable price size also on used technical equipment

Cons: obviously it's an aps-c

Opinion: I'm not going to say i'm not a great professional of the shot or even reviews :-) I am a canon reflex owner and to put my feet in the mirrorless world I decided to buy used a Canon eos M50 that I have owned for a few days. I can say that the comfort of the technical equipment of AF and shooting are really pleasant and comfortable. I use this camera to take with me every day for a few street shots and I have to say it's super transportable. The quality of RAW images is that of canon's digic8, so in my opinion it's also fine for trips where you want to have a really light kit.

Pros: Illegal price quality ratio, convenience and compactness, general benefits

Cons: Missing a ring, battery life and unusable 4k

Opinion: Report of the machine after 2 years and 27,000 shots: it looks like a toy in hand, instead it is a battle mule. The sensor holds well up to 1600 iso (for me anyway the limit for each aps-c) and the dynamic range is excellent, with a little care you can also recover 3 stops to iso 100. Autofocus is great in both photos and videos, but in some cases it suffers as very contrasted backgrounds. In these situations, even if the tracking in the car seems to follow the subject correctly the fire will always fall in the background. I was surprised at the overall stability of the machine, I recorded for hours in the Sicilian sun in August, I mounted the worst third-party accrolings on the camera and never made a crease. Forget the 4k because it's like it's not there, you feel so much the lack of a second ring and get ready to buy 2 spare batteries. Overall very underrated machine but also great for the price.

Pros: Everything, considering the market segment to which it is aimed.

Cons: Nothing, considering it's an aps-c.

Opinion: I found this machine for a trade-in with musical instrumentation that I had put up for sale on other shores. I looked at a bit of reviews online and I said 'why not?'. I have always been a fan of photography, as a user, and I took the opportunity to try to move on to the active side. Never had a choice, it was more a good choice. I must admit that I was intrigued by the video side, given the video recensions of the very gassed youtuber of stocacchio but then, taken in hand, I only started to take pictures, entering a very dangerous vortex (for the wallet for sure) but very funny. For videos I keep using the rooms of my partner who is a professional video maker. What to say, the only flaws I can find stem from the fact that it's an entry-level aps-c and maybe, but I stress perhaps, a second ring would be useful. Otherwise it's a real machine that takes real photos and I'll change it when I can say that I pushed it to its limits, which for now are still far away. The features are great and 360 degrees: the point of focus selectable via touch screen is fine (for those who complain about moving it with the nose just set the dial in the upper right and the problem is solved), with the evf I have no problem and I never tire my eyesight, focus peaking is very useful with manual lenses, the various settings of the AF all work great (points are distributed all over the frame) , the burst is very fast etc etc help me to talk about it well, Wi-Fi very useful to shoot remotely with mobile, windable screen... It is clear that in the context of switching to full frame I am buying only ef optics but with adapter they work perfectly and indeed, with good optics it becomes even more fun (not that the ef-m are bad: I tried the 22 f2 and the 32 F1.4 is fine, the kit 15-45 a little less but it is microscopic is stabilized...). The advice to anyone like me who is approaching the magical world of photography, is a great tool with modern, user friendly features, with which to approach with ease and portability to the study of matter. Say hello!

Pros: Compactness, orientable touch, electronic viewfinder

Cons: One ring, ISO seal

Opinion: I took this m50 to replace my old 800D. The reasons that drove me to this change are primarily the need to carry with me this compact and light thing during my travels (it is on these occasions that I photograph the most) and then the opportunity to take advantage of the EF/EF-S optical park with adapters. Comfortable the ability to focus directly on the touch by touching the subject that interests us. So far I think my choice is very good. On the other hand, having a single dial penalizes a little the "fast" usage that I had stored on the old 800D, although I think it's all about getting used to it. IsO from 800 onwards also shows a drop in quality in shots, but so much so. we are still talking about an entry level that then, in the end, I approve and recommend!

Pros: lightness image quality, viewfinder, burst

Cons: ergonomics, second ring, iso sensitivity

Opinion: for the price at which it is sold is an excellent machine. I used it with canon 70-200L and Tokina 11-16 f2.8 with Meike adapter and I was amazed, the image quality is great. The one limit is the poor resister to the high iso the second ring and the grip too small. Recommended for long trips so you stay light, the image quality will not disappoint.

Pros: Compactness, weight, Dynamic range, image quality, touch screen, articulated display, great AF sight, AF tracking, predictive AF, beam from the mitra

Cons: ergonomics (inevitable given the compactness), absence of second dial (available on higher price ranges but lower quality), absence of entry per meter range.

Pros: Small and light, excellent image quality, ubiquitous screen and responsive touch screen, autofocus, simple and clear canon menu, great value for money

Cons: Maybe it lacks a die

Opinion: I recently approached photography, and after much research and advice from people much more experienced than me, I decided to buy this mirrorless. I needed a small and light body, easily transportable and with excellent image quality. As my first serious camera, I was looking for an entry level but advanced and avant-garde, that would allow me to do a little bit of everything. I think that at value for money (500/600 euros), for this range there is no better. In addition to the 15-45 I bought a 55-200 for mountain trips and to photograph animals from long distance. I recently bought a fixed 22mm f2 to take that step forward and to have a bright lens. For what I need, the M series optics go very well because they allow me to experiment and buy cheap lenses but discreet and in some cases really good quality. For those who are more experienced, the M series certainly has a limited optical park (you can use an adapter). As for the battery, I've never had any problems at the moment, but I haven't spent whole days photographing. Unexpected avoidance with a spare battery. Despite the extremely responsive touch screen, an extra dial would have been comfortable. Conclusion: I would recommend it to all those who are looking for a great camera but small and light, to those who are approaching photography and do not want to spend too much, to those who want a second body machine to take on the road or in special situations. For me it is undoubtedly promoted!

Pros: Incredible AF for 500 euros; canon house colors; gust for 500 euros

Cons: Battery

Opinion: A respectable mirrorless with a really good dynamic range for the price it has. Instead of going to the video side, buy yourself a sony and don't break the boxes anymore; Canon is made to photograph and, without exaggeration, I would flank this apsc as a second body with low hands. It has a crazy autofocus (for what it costs): I own a 50mm canon 1.4, you all know it, it is one of the slowest and faulty lenses that canon house has ever made; well, dear users, with my meke adapter from 50 euros (now it costs even less) to 1.4 in a park in the dark evening did not once sing the fire. Rest assured, the autofocus works well even in the room or in the soft places where there is no sunlight despite the room costing 500 euros. The display is sensitive, it works well, the focus tracks the subject quietly (average clearly, we do not talk about sony a9). The room works really well, study the manual to customize the controls to your taste. The viewfinder works well and does not leave HANNO FIXED the issue of goox triggers (for those who did not know by applying a godox trigger the old mirrorless canon crashed: it went off and you had to turn it back on). Canon did a nice job: you've been too impulsive, you've unnecessarily been avid on the video side but if you want to take canon photos it continues to stand on the crest of the wave. He also did the mirrorless full frame WITH THE COLORS OF THE FULL FRAME CANON, don't get angry about all the hustle and bustle that sony did, if you want to make videos buy yourself a c100 or a sony. I forgot, if you decide to buy this canon m50 buy even 4 batteries, they will serve you as bread since it drinks like a 3000 petrol.

Pros: Weight, clutter, Image quality, dynamic range, high iso, autofocus, video, snooper screen, ease access controls, price value.

Cons: Too bad we lack some more performing and bright optics, remediable with adapter and optics ef Canon (at the expense of weight and clutter), which unfortunately I do not possess. It would be to mention the battery but it is a problem of all mirrorless so it is a no problem for now.

Opinion: I must say that I have always been a Nikon user, but interested in the sudden advance of mirrorless I was intending to have one without much commitment having already a very important Nikon kit, certainly were not z6 and z7 that met this requirement being very high price and range machines, investment already made with Nikon D850 and since in this segment Nikon laze, studying prrezzi and features of various machines I decided to take an M50 even for sometimes lighter outputs. I really like CR3 files a satisfying dynamic range of course not to compare to my Full Frame, but in relation to the sensor, the files are very workable and allow wide margins of recovery. I was very impressed with the performance in relation to the price, a real gem that I fell in love with. I don't make many videos if not occasionally, but I've found that they're great, They call it entry level but I don't completely agree, I'm testing it a lot and I'm getting more and more charmed. I attach photos in the gallery, taken in CR3.

Pros: New and used price, compactness (up to a point), low weight, quality of photos and videos, high iso hold (for an apsc) and dynamic range, Raffica, WIFI, EVF.

Cons: ERGONOMIA!, battery life (yes and no), price and availability of EF-M optics, lack of another control dial

Opinion: Despite being sold as a mirrorless entry level, I decided to gamble and buy it. I immediately paired it with EF optics (24-105L, 50, 70-300) via Meike adapter and Viltrox speedbooster as I do not see longevity and convenience (as far as resale then) of the EF-M system. With this pairing, I am convinced that I have obtained in my hands and in many respects an APS-C semi pro, with high performance photos and videos (only 1080p, NO 4K) thanks to the technology it encloses. The Digic 8 processor combined with a relatively new sensor guarantees a great quality of image and detail, good dynamic range and great recovery of shadows (iso 100) and also an excellent iso seal: I set ISO MAX to 6400 and I can get shots satisfying and recoverable by almost always shooting freehand. Canon's AF Dual Pixel system speaks for its own, fabulous video side and incredible photo side: very fast, so many points that can be selected via touch and continuous eye-tracking for portraits. CHICCA RECORD: By mounting the speedbooster, you get the FF field of view, a stop in less diaphragm (from 4 to 2.8/ from 1.8 to 1.2) losing a lot of clarity and gaining a lot in practicality. Which you can't do a sLR. LET'S COME AGAINST IT. The battery life is subjective, I have two originalones, but for a daily outing and both on holiday stressed a lot I managed to make a full day or a little less, using only the viewfinder and keeping the screen off (facing inwards). In such a small body you can not claim to have the battery of a computer and, considering the ridiculous cost, lightness/size of the batteries and the little time to replace them, it is up to you to decide whether to classify it as an absolute defect or not. Good ergonomics with a 50mm 1.8, and so I assume even with EF-M lenses being lightweight. INSUFFICENT ADOLON instead if you mount big and heavy lenses (24-105, 70-300), but I solved it with a 3D printed external grip and now I have a salner grip. Unfortunately, at least one additional dial is missing to adjust a few parameters, after a few months I got into the habit of using touch and almost all customizable keys, but I still consider it a flaw. CONCLUSION Let's talk about a 500 euro body used, if you are willing to make compromises for the "cons", the "pros" instead of this M50 make it perfect as a travel machine, second body or any scope. In short, we are talking about a 500 euro body used, only half of these pros should convince you to have it already in your kit! EDIT: That said, if interested is for sale or looking for exchange with Canon 6D or 6D MKii for need of an FF

Pros: Compactness and autofocus. Price

Cons: 4k Farlocco. Much better Full HD 60 fps. Lack of tropicalization.

Opinion: Among the merits of this camera is the fact that the Canon M50 Mirrorless maintains a very compact body without sacrificing autofocus, excellent thanks to the Dual Pixel system, and stabilization, which is electronically realized in combination with the EF-M Optics Stabilized. This is then the only one among the mirrorless Canon to make 4K video but the M50 records movies even in fullHD at 60 fps in order to achieve slow motion effects. Also from a photographic point of view, the Canon M50 is a great camera to start taking pictures and is therefore recommended for beginners and for those who do not want to spend much in equipment. Finally, what interests people as we are used to photographing on the road we point out that, thanks to the very small size, the Canon EOS M50 is the perfect mirrorless for travel: This room is light and compact it is almost pocketable and can be Quietly put in a bag or backpack without giving in the eye. I made a video review that you can find here: https://youtu.be/I2ZvHoe6qiA

Pros: Exceptional electronic Viewfinder, you can review the picture just taken without removing the eye. Efficient and accurate Electronics. Burst of quick shots, click in mute Mode, no sound, very useful to shoot in museums without getting noticed. Customizable Keys an accurate way. Compatible with all EF lenses thanks to the Canon adapter. AF fast and accurate, with Possibility to move UL Af point with the nose:) On the screen. Snap to touch.

Cons: Not lightning-fast shooting from stand-by. Too small for big hands. Little intushable Keys without looking at them. A ring nut Is missing, an interchangeable creates confusion. Well.. Ridiculous Battery, I bought three more for safety

Opinion: For a little more di500 euro, this machine is a masterpiece. I bought a kind of handle from Milo, a Polish guy on the internet that prints in 3D since too small if the uses with L series lenses. On A recent trip to Naples I needed 3 batteries to cover 12 hours of shots, however the quality is high boys.. Burst, and you can set up 4 types of autofocus. I customized that sort of joystick to get to the right way. You Have to lose a few days to set it in a practical way, but after it is completely exploitable as you want. Sensor Digic 8, reached high quality levels in raw CR3. Cleaner than 80D. Customizable Screen as information, very snodable, touch-sensitive, bright, rich in data. Flash of modest scope, but able to save you in a backlit portrait. In Short autofocus that pump ugly, excellent files and all lenses Canon... Just?

Pros: Good value for money-size and lightness

Cons: Limited battery life-urge to buy battery reserve immediately

Opinion: Although not a super connoisseur I am very satisfied with the initial endowment (objective 15/45). I later bought the 22 and a 18/150. The set now is almost complete and allows me to make good photos during trekking. I would recommend it to those who do activities in the open air, to those who make dynamic vacations and want to have a good quality of the images without having excessive weights or clutter.

Pros: Lightness, minimum footprint, modern functionality, compatibility with wide optical Park

Cons: One more ring would not hurt, battery capacity at minimum Union

Opinion: I waited to use it a little on the field before writing a review. I own an EOS 760d, with which it shares the sensor, so I already knew the yield at high ISO and resolution, which I think is very good and still at the height of competitors. Compared to the 760d it allows a considerably better transportability, it is in a tiny bag with 11-22, 24stm 50stm and 135/2l, because the dimensions of the machine body are really contained. Nevertheless, the ergonomics are not affected, it is also good for lenses higher than the half kilo mounted through an adapter, although of course the maximum yield for the type of body is obtained by mounting the native M lenses or at least small lenses and read as the Fixed STM. The AF is a decisive step forward, the DPAF allows to engage and follow faithfully a subject, and the AFC is accurate, as well as available on virtually the entire frame. In OneShot is available the Eye AF mode that works well. Useful the touch and drag function that allows you to focus by dragging the AF point by touch on the display while it is framed by EVF, a function that you can also limit to a precise quadrant of the display dividing it into four. Moreover, it is remarkable compatibility with the wide Park EF and EF-S objectives and compatible third-party lenses, virtually any EOS compatible lens is compatible with the M50 with adapter that is actually transparent, the functionality of Lenses are maintained at 100% without sagging, delays or perceptible differences. On the spot of the commands sure, one more ring would have been appreciated, but it still has a customizable function key, and also it is possible to customize the functions assigned to all the keys, also of the rear pad, then with a few days Of adaptation is found all under the fingers at the first shot, moreover all the functions are accessible and adjustable at all times in overimpression on the Live View touch. The battery is at minimum union, depending on the conditions can last from 230 to 300 shots, better equip yourself with a pair of spare batteries that have a low cost.

Pros: Sensor, autofocus, ergonomics, good viewfinder, articulated display, responsive display touch, intuitive menu

Cons: Missing the entrance to the Intervalometer (time lapse in room does not fall below the 1/20 s shutter). Battery. A single ring, badly constructed.

Opinion: I state that I come from a Canon 1200d and I have not tried many other mirrorless. In my opinion as a value for money (paid in Kit 15 45 new 500 from a well-known site) has no equal, excellent image quality, resists high sensitivity up to 3200/6400 ISO with a little ' noise that does not go to distort the colors and sharpness (as it happened on my old A 1200d), excellent autofocus also thanks to the ability to move the autofocus point by looking in the viewfinder and touching the display (or directly from the display in Live view). Another of its strengths is the compactness, I did not expect so small but at the same time easy to hold in hand, thanks to a comfortable and relatively large grip, appearance by many underestimated.. While coming from an optical viewfinder, the digital viewfinder surprised me, no lag and very fluid. The battery lasts on the 300 shots if used constantly in live view/viewfinder, on the 400 when used in saving mode or by displaying only the shutter data in the display. The only ring nut around the button I did not like, is too "spring" when turned, also the body entirely made of plastic (sensation cheap enough) makes it clear that Canon somewhere had to save. Video side, in addition to the 4k where the autofocus is easily lost and there is an additional crop, the 1080 runs well and almost never loses fire, but it is a factor that photographers should not affect much. Edit: I noticed that there is no input for the intervalometer. You can do time lapse directly in the room but have some limitations like 900 shots maximum, no more than 36 seconds of final video, you can not get below the 1/20 s for each shot. And there are no alternatives

Pros: Image quality Excellent, manageable, compact and at the same time excellent workmanship

Cons: Movies don't suit me. They come in jerks.

Opinion: As far as the pictures say anything, though I'm only shooting by day. I would be curious to match a tele, example a 150-600. Easy to carry. I was disappointed instead by the footage. Used to my Full HD camcorder. So if someone can give me advice on how to set it to have a different result, I would be grateful.

Pros: - lightness, size, many functions and aps-c 24mpx sensor, ability to use ef optics (this is a !!!!!!!!!!!!!! value). - dual pixels - a lot of stuff! - fully articulated display, I would say fundamental in 2020 - jpeg canon (once custom picture styles , I would not abandon more canon (I had a parenthesis with a6400 sony, great but what color has in jpeg?!) Raw processing in the !!!!! room

Cons: The 4k.... because of the prehistoric focus... no dual pixel... no party :( - drums... not so much the duration... but that goes from complete... 2 notches out of three and after very little, and trust very little... to CHANGE THE BATTERY! - lack of internal stabilization x photos but it would have cost a lot more.

Opinion: So, I come from a fz2000( fz1000 and many other bridges), three times as big, 1-inch sensor but stabilized. First I have to say that it is really tiny, almost funny if you compare it with a reflex ! yet it offers the same identical functions, and it improves several by adding more. The aps-c canon sensor is already known, plus there is the new digic 8 processor and staying low on the iso and with the right optics you have great shots. The jpeg canon I like a lot also as colors and in fact I always shoot raw - jpeg but I explain after the xke, I put the noise reduction on off always so leaves as many details as possible, then I customized 3 picture style depending on whether I shoot a portrait, or landscape or if I use the 18-200 (with this I pumped a little sharpness and .1 the contrast). Raw processing in the room, great thing that I already used with panasonic bridges( here's xke snap raw-jpeg), if after the shot you realize that the white balance is wrong, distortions, brightness, colors, sharpness and shadows well you can do everything with a touch and you're good to!!! As a video, the 1080p at 50 or 60 frames/sec, is great , thanks to the dual pixel does not miss a beat... il4k instead uses the contrast focus a little dated and therefore unreliable except for timelaps etc (using manual focus instead everything resolves, but you know how it is.... ) The wifi for transferring photos to your smartphone is simple, fast and reliable. Do I recommend it? Of course you, after 1 1/2 years certainly, the wide variety in addition to the native ef-m opens up a world and at the moment I have: ef-m 22mm f/2 , ef-m 32mm f/1.4 (a real razor), and sigma 56mm f/1.4 (can you call it spatial?!) and the sigma 18-200 Contemporary that I use with canon adapter (as everything do I consider the best I tried). I would have liked to try fuji x its jpeg (better than canons?!) and film simulation, but meanwhile an x-t30 does not have the articulatable display like m50 and then remember that on Fuji you only mount fuji optics (not as with canon that with adapter uses all efs, canons, sigma tamron etc...) ... so take a hit to get my respective goals that I have now... I think I would have spent twice as much definitely.

Pros: Lightness excellent value for money

Cons: Nothing special

Opinion: Bought because tired of bringing in the mountains in the long hikes my Nikon D3 and various goals... The weight is now felt with little weight and three small zoom 11/22-15/45 55/200 The mountain outputs are definitely better obviously the quality is not that of the FF But still more than acceptable.. Fully satisfied. Consider L, purchase a spare battery in the exits of a day or more

Pros: manageability, excellent image quality, weight and price.

Cons: Electronic viewfinder.

Opinion: For some months I have this ML, good quality of the materials, light. Sure, to use at low ISO, it doesn't have the 1d X sensor!!!! The quality of the photos I find excellent. Only flaw, if you can define it, the battery life. But with a spare, you end up quietly the day. I am very pleased with this ML. I put in the "cons" the electronic viewfinder because I think I will never get used!!!

Pros: Price weight ratio Q/P

Cons: Photo quality especially at high ISO battery

Opinion: Given that I have not used so much just a few tests in conditions not beautiful light (7 in the evening). I state that I use the optics 15/45. I was expecting a nice leap forward compared to the compact camera I come from, I was disappointed. Maybe they were too high my expectations?? I think i'll use it for videos and as soon as I get the money i'll take a FF as it should. usability, menu is everything else great great, fantastic viewfinder to be digital. EDIT: After some excursion I can claim to have changed my mind. It ' a great machine, both photos and videos I have raised several satisfactions (something I published here too). Ergo, I just had to take our hand. Surely the only thing that continues to dislike me is the size: with my hammies is really small, I like the big machines, even if this M50 is really light and is really a nice comfort.

Pros: Lightness and practicality... good image quality

Cons: Iso

Opinion: EOS M50 + 15-45 kit.... The first camera you bought merged after a week... and replaced it right away. This has behaved well good menu management thanks to the touch display.. Now widespread with the monitor tilting... great detail and speed of shutter... but better nn go up too with the ISO, I posted some night photos of this camera in my gallery... anyway all in its category (Cost €600 the kit) is a good Investment.. To carry around always seen dimentions and lightness

Pros: Very good viewfinder, light size contained.

Cons: Nothing in particular. A little bit low battery life, and it's better to have a spare.

Opinion: Given that I use only for photographs (I do not care much about the movies), mainly using EOS M18/150 or EOS M 11/22, and I have to recognize, with both lenses, excellent image quality even with high ISO. Excellent AF system. The system is quite intuitive, and once you understand the various functions you use it very easily. For passionate and/or amateur photographers is more than complete. Very refined white with silver optics. Canon should further develop the optical Park Eos M. Rated 9.5

Pros: Dimensions, lightness, display, viewfinder, build quality, JPEG quality, AF, menu.

Cons: One more wheel would not be bad!

Opinion: I took it just yesterday more out of curiosity than for specific needs. I was a little hesitant but the contact outlet was a very positive experience. It is made and finished well, the electronic viewfinder impressed me positively because, at the almost dark, it is still bright enough to make the scene visible. The AF is very quick and accurate except when the light is very poor. Where my EM1mk2 still manages to light a lot, but very poor, la. M50 leaves the field. Very positive experience with the use of optics like the F4 16 35 and the 24 70 F4. The set is still fairly balanced and comfortable to use. I feared an unacceptable imbalance instead the experience of use is very positive. It will be a very good second body for my 6d Mk2.

Pros: Compact and lightweight 4 k video-AF system

Cons: I can't get used to the EVF-cumbersome lens release number to be operational-weather sealing would be desirable.

Opinion: Just arrived are still bad, expecting bigger. Super compact lightweight, polycarbonate or similar shell from a feeling not very pleasant to the touch. Anyway overall excellent product. I also purchase the adaptor for many Canon lenses you already own. The marriage becomes ridiculous if the couple to a tele, pretty much is like shooting with only the lens in hand. (I got white and blends perfectly with the optics) For what it's worth my opinion in a gathering of super experts, the files are great and exceptional videos now for a 5/6 years all Canon bodies and their technology (I own all 4 other DSLRs) are at such a level that, appreciating distinctions of the sensors is d process has become a sport that isn't practical. Pragmatically do my pictures and leave the other measures the Pindaric harmonies. The battery does not seem great, but sometimes also depends a lot on battery power that you get more or less performance. Good and improved simple and intuitive programming software. AF system, higher and higher ... very good.

Pros: Dimensions, weights, articulate, sensor, display great EVF, new AF system

Cons: Manual pop-up flash system and lack of a double ring (but then maybe it would have been a M7).

Opinion: Having owned an M1, M3 and M6 I can say this M50 has everything I was looking for! Lightweight, compact and solid to the touch even though the body is made of polycarbonate, in my opinion is a real Aps-c All-Round to take with itself. Excellent burst shooting but little buffer (from 7 to 9 raw shots). The sensor, updated or new, returns well workable files in line with the M6 and 80D I've had. The electronic viewfinder does not make me regret the 5 d IV, in fact I really like the idea of instantly see how strong especially in situations of controluci photo veine. Impractical "Touch and Drag AF" If you leave the display on the back of the camera, because there is no place to move your fingers to move the af, while it becomes useful if we leave open the display sideways. The "Eye" AF "works well if the subject looking at the camera and only works in ONE SHOT while I serve the function is disabled. The new AF module works very well with Aperture f/1.4, is very quick even in low light and has a good dynamic in pursuit. In the M3 and M6 flashes of other brands were not working now, in M3 and M6 using counterfeit batteries was cumbersome now everything works as in the old M1. IMHO Canon for bridged the gap that was there with other brand performance level, this software will reach the maximum when they're out optical light compact like the whole series EF-M. Rating 9.5

Pros: Size, weight, articulated LCD, JPG quality, price, rating 9.7

Cons: Unreliable the first two characters, having given a rating of 3.7, revelers or else ... For this reason i think the review ratings are unreliable, excess both at fault.

Opinion: Let me start by saying not to be interested in the video, I just need to find a small, light, with Central articulated LCD viewfinder, with price defiantly. This met all the features for my needs ... and most of all was to be a Canon, although for many there are so many other top models for money at EOS M50, for me there are also factors of empathy.
