Pros: AF silent and precise, sharpness, lightness.

Cons: Brightness, flare.

Opinion: The Canon 10-18 STM is a great lens that saved me in various situations where the 17mm was not enough for me. Around the city allows you to photograph anything thanks to its 10mm, it has a good sharpness and thanks to its plastic construction is also very light (but also a bit weak). He's got a few flare problems but it's common to a lot of wide-anglers and given the economics of the lens there is. In my opinion it is the ideal wide-angle to learn to master this type of lenses.

Pros: quiet, and within certain limits sharp even at F4.5 (see cons), optical stabilizer L series , with eos 60d and 7D matched very well

Cons: plastic construction that at one point created problems even of decentralization lenses , dust that you found everywhere and unfortunately (unfortunately ) also in the rear lens

Opinion: I loved it literally , with the 7D accomplice the double processor in live view looked like a compact. a lot of fun walking around the village, with the 60d the live view was obviously slower. he was in the room service because the autofocus was on and it was dirty with dust inside after a few months of the new purchase. the problem I started to hate was the construction speech, at one point he started out of the blue to decentralise some lenses without even bumping into him or anything like that. (I am a technician who repairs them and disassembles them for years now on his own), so one side of the photo was useless if not printing it in 10x15. and not even ... then I realized that he had the bad habit of attracting dust especially in the rear lens and at that point I said stop , after a send to the service room I resold it . A positive note to the stabilizer... It was something phenomenal... believe me on the word. I would take pictures in the evening at 1/5 of a second with the 60d and they were trestle photos. if only they had taken better care of the construction ... too bad for real.......... If you pay 50 -70 euros you risk as well ... otherwise buy it again, for what it costs...!!! I just got out I paid him 240 euros on ollo store. and I'm talking about 2014. now they should give it away or almost seeing the quality XXXX with which it is built. here is one of the many photos taken together with 60D with this toy https://www.juzaphoto.com/galleria.php?t=1970107&l=it

Pros: Compactness-sharpness and colors-efficient and Silent AF

Cons: Unbright and consequently blurred non-existent view of the focal-a bit of vignetting at 10mm-plastic bayonet-evident drop in sharpness at the edges

Opinion: Recently bought for panoramic photos and above all to get close to the action photos. Given the value for money is a lens that in a kit should not be missing, in my opinion: the optical performance and AF are very very good. The only thing really limiting in use is the high depth of field even at full aperture, as it is obvious that it is for a 10mm f/4.5: blurry do not make it. For landscape use is irrelevant, for other uses more creative must assess well because it can be an important limit. Another point is the plastic bayonet: Given the level of espresso jars really, but really much.

Pros: Simple Scheme Excellent performance cost

Cons: The plastic frame.... But it's a mental heritage

Opinion: Excellent lens performance from superior optics and distortion only to the slightest optics. I use it for a year on APS C is recently on EOS where maybe it is even better. A single advice buy it you will not regret it. Ok Pico Bright But it's a wide angle so we all have it in 50ino bright. It Weighs Pico and in the bag is everywhere.... But it will give you great satisfaction trophy and brilliant colors. Rated a nice 9.5

Pros: Engine silent and very practical

Cons: Little Bright

Opinion: Since I bought it to make the interior in a key urbex, I love it and I use it outside. Being an amatatore but very fancier, my opinion is dictated by its use at 360 °. Now with the purchase of the tripod I'll continue to test it and improve the results. Still to try with flash but using it with the sunset I saw excellent results.

Pros: Cost, compactness and lightness, silent and rapid focus.

Cons: Decrease in sharpness as you approach the edges of the frame (even at high f values, but for this figure!), perhaps the most "weak" among the STM.

Opinion: With This lens I hope to have reached the peace of the senses, in fact without realizing or almost completed a kit that contains all 5 STM lenses of my interest. There is only I have a few days and I have not yet had the way to test it well, but given the other goals in my possession, I already think I have an idea about. The Classic Construction is the zoom STM, in plastic so light, but well-assembled. The sliding and fluid barrel, and which does not escape more than half a centimeter, thus maintaining the compactness of the lens. Of course we complain that it is not bright, indoors would force to raise the ISO, but I tend to think that when you use a wide-angle focal you want to shoot with great depth of field and therefore you tend to close the diaphragm and I am sure that I will work from F 7.1 up. I Say this because from the usual homemade test that I do to every lens that I am in my hands, the best results in terms of sharpness this lens from between F 7.1 and F14. Staying on the sharpness is much the difference between the center of the frame and the margins that seem a bit soft, even at more closed diaphragms. The focus is in the same way as the other STM zooms.

Pros: Price, lightness and excellent focus taking into account the quality/price.

Cons: Quality/Price no cons. Obvious distortion at 10/11mm, but acceptable given the price! Excessive autofocus noise when used for video.

Opinion: Bought at a reasonable price on eglobal (less than €200) to take away some wide-angle whim, I was immediately satisfied with the first shots! I would say even great on APS-C when used with good natural light. I recommend for those who like me has an APS-C and wants to have fun with wide angle without spending exorbitant figures... said that satisfaction, as soon as I can, I will immediately evaluate the purchase of Canon 10-22mm, slightly higher, but always at an affordable price.

Pros: Excellent value for money (especially if you find it used), stabilizer, excellent focal Range, also perfect for videolog and selfie with friends

Cons: Little Bright especially at 18mm, only Wide Angle, only for APS-C

Opinion: I state that I bought this lens with the sole intention of using it in my videolog, however it lends itself very well for some shots in large cities, panoramas and photos "artistic" miscellaneous. The brightness is not excellent however the autofocus (at least in my model) is not mistaken for a comma. The stabilizer works very, very well. Although it is the idea that at focal so low the use of a stabilizer is almost useless thanks to this I managed to take pictures without the shadow of micro blur even in shots of 1 second and to return to the speech of the videos you obviously have to I notice that the stabilizer works very well without making the slightest noise. All in all it is an interesting lens but with a range of uses rather limited. Definitely recommended for those who want to use it for videologs (at home with professional lights are achieved excellent results around ISO 400 to TA, outside the home in the sunlight is mandatory the hood to petal, in low light I was forced to Raise the ISO up to 3200/6400, factor not to neglect unfortunately...). In the photographic field is obviously quite limited due to the maximum aperture of 4.5 but is expected from a product of this band. I still have to test some photos on the long exposures. As a rule at 10mm I should be able to take pictures of the stars around 30 seconds of shooting without blurry... Try!

Pros: Quality price-Ultra wide angle-weight-stabilization

Cons: Little sharpness-dull colors, needed post production

Opinion: Lens purchased used and used for about 6/7 months. After that, at the end of August, he inexplicably stopped being recognized by the machine. I took her on two summer trips, NY and Greece, in terms of space is very unwieldy and light. Portatilissima. The angle of the field is very good, but you have to know manage. I almost always preferred the lower focal to try to include in the scene as many elements as possible (especially in some street shots). At the edges it actually loses a lot in sharpness, but in the central area, for what it's worth, it's pretty good. Surely it is necessary to post-produce to recover a bit of vibrance and contrast of colors, which otherwise are quite a bit dull. As a first wide angle however it turns out to be good enough to have a little fun and learn to compose, surely to be upgrade once learned the use of wide angle pushed, but you can keep for emergencies.

Pros: Price, focal hike

Cons: Plasticoso, sharpness, entry level lens

Opinion: If you look for a wide angle to take your hand, or you do not have too many demands is the right lens, but as soon as you get your hand start to exit its limits, moreover given the price you can not expect to have who knows what quality , not bright at the edges, especially at 10mm, you also start to lose sharpness at 10mm

Pros: Viewing angle

Cons: Sharpness, materials and light

Opinion: Good wide angle, excellent view to the sales price, quality materials quite plasticky, sharpness that goes to fade at longer focal lengths. Great for beginners and for APS-c. Suffers enough flare and the hood is not sold in all products. Post production almost always a must to give a greater harmony to the colors, light and sharpness.

Pros: Price, compactness

Cons: Plastic, suffers from sharpness at 10 mm

Opinion: I bought this lens new from dealer online at an affordable price. Plastic materials but are justified, precisely, by the low price. Good versatility from 10 to 18 mm, suffers a bit in 10 mm of sharpness but everything is fixable in pp. In the evening it is quite difficult to use and the tripod becomes an obligation if you want to get a decent shot. All in all it is a great lens for those who don't want to spend a lot but get a decent result.

Pros: Quality - price, lightness, AF, precise and fast maf

Cons: Sharpness at the edges, build quality, resistance to flare practically nothing

Opinion: Overall it is a good lens with which I felt good, the clarity of the shots is excellent in the central part, less at the edges where you lose significantly of quality.rnThe lens is light and precise and fast AF, however it has me disappointed the lack of resistance to flare.rnSicuramente is a lens that I recommend for the excellent value for money, no doubt we are not at the top levels but we still speak of a lens whose cost is around 200/250 € .rnAvoid attribute one vote I would give 7.5 / 10.

Pros: Quality price, light, stabiliser, economical.

Cons: Aperture 4.5, plasticous, distortion at 10 11, a little dark, plastic attachment, lens hood not supplied

Opinion: I had the Canon 10 18 for 5 months, although for the price paid it is not bad (being cheap) I was not completely satisfied and I sold it. Attached to my 80d the first thing I noticed in the photos was the little brightness, a little dark, the sharpness is quite good, plasticoso very light and one thing I did not like was the plastic attack. If you want to spend a little is fine but I have replaced with a Tokina 11 20 2.8 Pro DX that costs more than double but as a lens is a whole other thing. Sharpness, Luminosissimo also indoor photo, massive construction and quite heavy. The Canon I recommend to start and if I have to give a vote gives 7.5. Being a basic lens at that price you can not expect more.

Pros: Focal range, cost-effective, effective stabilization, low distortion, fast, precise and silent MAF.

Cons: Very low flare resistance, low light but stabilizer helps, absence of standard hood.

Opinion: I use it for a few weeks and honestly from an unknowing I was expecting more as above is written Canon and I was a little disappointed. Then using it I realized that even if it is not bright and particularly sharp, taking our hand is appreciated and allows with a limited expense to have virtually all the focal range for me indispensable from the wide angle pushed to the classic wide angle. Good chromatic yield although often need post production, but it also depends on the quality of the machine body. The flare is very evident, the specific lense is mandatory but it does not always save. When I get light in doubt between this and everything do 18-200 I do this. Recommended if you do not expect the best of quality, perfect for daytime amateur use, in the evening its low lightness is felt but not so much if you have a firm hand and keeps the stabilizer active ... even in this case the car body affects a lot, as economical as my Canon 1300D that has big limits in managing high ISO is not the%2339; ideal. It's almost all plastic but assembly is great. Overall satisfied.

Pros: quality price!! excellent

Cons: Distortion at 10: 12mm lightweight, plastic

Opinion: satisfactory!! I brought home masterpieces! Just jpeg click so i can not afford to miss it, i use it most days to give me sea views and breathtaking mountains, and even in church, obviously 10mm distortion in tight places is obvious species on people but it is more than normal to The focal point, the maximum aperture of 4.5 remains to be desired but it is not a problem either, and if at night it works almost always on the three feet, its construction is plasticous but there is everything it needs to Such a big corner my vote 7

Pros: Economical, Stabilized, Lightweight, AF.

Cons: Plastic Plug, Missing the Distance Scale.

Opinion: I was very hesitant before buying, I had a long list of lenses and could not decide, but having a limited budget and having found it used at 140 € as new I decided to try this lens. RnThe objective is good, it is not The usual plastic and the quality is the same as the Canon 24mm STM, it looks very robust.rnThe lens is very sharp at the maximum aperture and even with closed diaphragm, very good stabilizer for free handshakes with low light.rnI have Bought for landscape photography and architecture, finally I can get everything in the picture, which I could not do with 17mm.rnrnIf I read many questions I confirm that on machine-dated machines is fine, I use it on Canon 50D.

Pros: Light, IS

Cons: Construction, difference in yield between a specimen and the other

Opinion: In the past I had this goal for a short time. Purchase, although aware that they can not expect much for the amount spent I would have expected something more 'in terms of decency in sharpness. In summary my copy because of this serious flaw, and 'was in my bag for a short time. Although the case of a slow economic advice to try the specimen ke well you are going to buy because 'the difference between the one and the other could be so much. F max of 4.5 inappropriately all'astrofotografia.

Pros: Ultra wide, light, crystal clear, zoom rings and very fluid focus, stabilized, internal AF.

Cons: Flare, maximum aperture f / 4.5, maf ring without staircase, the lens hood is not supplied.

Opinion: I bought this lens to begin to experience something different in landscape photography, having in exchange of beautiful soddisfazioni.rnSi takes a bit 'of time to get carried away with focal thrusts so, especially if you come from around the minimum focal 18mm, but once you made a habit this is a real drug. The quality and definition of the images are great, and as already written between the "pro", the zoom and focus rings are fluidissime.rnSolitamente when a lens does not cost a fortune we tend to think that there are more or less large compromises quality; in this case the only real compromise was made on resistance to flare that, with the sun pointed straight on the lens, it invariably presents. A major flaw of this lens is the maximum aperture (10mm, f / 4.5); it still remains true that for the cost that you can not have so many demands on this front. Given the low light, this lens and not &serious; suitable all'astrofotografia.

Pros: Exceptional lens, light crisp and good autofocus

Cons: plasticky and Pure Plastic Attack .........

Opinion: Excellent lens for APSC does great photos minimal distortion and offers excellent especially in architecture details. Also very efficient image stabilizer. In my opinion it competes with more famous lenses and the only drawback is that it captures a lot of flare ............ from the construction point of view is very plasticky yet "solid." My version has a focus ring a little too soft, however, it does not create any problem. In summary for what must-see lens costs ..........

Pros: Lightweight, fast and quiet AF, sharpness

Cons: Flare, plastic bayonet, ferrule of maf without scale

Opinion: Taken on offer on Amazon to 249 with hood, recommended by you users Juza it was very happy. Objective very crisp, a little dark but offset by excellent stabilizer that allows you to take in times prohibitive type 1/10, lightweight with plastic in my opinion good quality, using from 67 filters so content with not being very large costs although 10 mm sticker a little 'recoverable with postproduction. They are unique in the ring maf no full scale and in night makes you damn and plastic bayonet with continuous changes tends to wear out, for the rest Af very fast and quiet, recommended

Pros: Excellent quality / price, low weight

Cons: suffers from annoying flare

Opinion: Bought used (practically new) in 2015 for my 50D, I was very happy for the very good quality it has. the body is plastic, but solid. Great range of focal, very low weight. The only drawback flare of which suffers a lot. I recommend it to anyone who wants a wide-angle lens with an excellent quality / price ratio. The 10-22 is higher than you but little for me.

Pros: Excellent value for money. Good construction except for the bayonet. Weight and dimensions excellent.

Cons: plastic bayonet.

Opinion: Taken to 1100D especially for question of weight and dimensions. Under the quality profile price this lens is unbeatable. Excellent overall performance, do not miss a beat. (With the sigma 10 20 I was a jerk and one not) in focus. Chromaticity Canon and great quality stabilization make it a particularly reliable object, and this is something that when you're traveling is not to be underestimated.

Pros: Economic, crisp, good construction, lightweight stabilizer.

Cons: Rendering a bit 'cold in exterior colors.

Opinion: Purchased to replace a Samyang 14mm mainly for reasons of weight, after reading the positive reviews. I review that I would subscribe. The target responds well to my expectations. And 'sharp at all focal lengths. often gives color to my taste a bit 'cold, metallic but it's probably fairly typical in wide-angle lenses. This makes the exterior and in the interior of the truly beautiful colors. I use it on an old 350D that I would not even change. A praise to the stabilizer which allows me to make good shots of the interior of the churches remaining in 400iso.

Pros: Small, light, cheap, excellent colors and nitito

Cons: Little light, a little 'flare

Opinion: I'm not an extreme wide-angle expert, it is the first that I own. I was a bit 'hesitant before buying it, fearing that it was a useful little object and with major limitations as results. I must say that I changed my mind now! For myself I have to be satisfied in full. And very sharp in the center and on the sides a little 'less but I was expecting much worse. The focus is quiet and fast. He 's small and light that attached to 7d Mk2 hardly feels. As often it happens Canon does not put the lens hood but 10 € you can buy (not original). The plastic bayonet is not a pretty sight but you "get used", the construction in general seems well made and the rings rotate without games. I noticed from the backlit evidence a little 'flare but in PP I was able to take off. The stabilizer works very well that I took pictures to 1/10 "freehand without blur.

Cons: sharpness at the edges not excellent, it lacks the lens hood, annoying flare, plastic bayonet.

Opinion: If you are a landscaper or if you try new angles and new perspectives obiettivio this for you. Demands attention in the use as enough estremo.rnNon is suitable for those who want to split hairs with the sharpness or those seeking a luminosa.rnPer slow a bit 'I used Canon EOS 750D and it's really exciting especially if you have already found your kind words ambientati landscape or portraits or to experiment with new ideas .rn2 in: did not include the hood, the bayonet is plastic. Specifically, the plastic bayonet is a shame because it is a particular objective and at least one non paste it to the camera, you can easily wear out.

Cons: dim

Opinion: What to say? Vignetting, usually even I correct in post.rnUnico "neo" is the poor apertuta of the diaphragm, however, we must consider the stabilizer that really helps a lot! Pros: Crisp, light, entertainment audibility very good price, and stabilizer motor STM for video maximum, always in focus with EOS 70D

Cons: Plastic Attack, with a few euro more Canon could do it with the metal attack, for no one else.

Opinion: I bought from Ollo store, I had already bought from them, and this time they are not proved wrong, the item arrived on a working day. Thanks infinte With regard to Objective I had read many reviews and watched videos Del Canon 10-18 stm before moving to the purchase, I have mounted on a Canon EOS 70D, the plastic quality is very good and once mounted on the machine It does not seem so plaasticoso as some say, just a shame the plastic attachment, I would rather pay 10 / 20eruo more, but having the metal attack, However, once on the camera body and we do not care, it's true is not bright, but raising a little the iSO when you need it overcomes the obstacle, I tried it at home with a simple angled lamp, up to 2500 iSO in video is that the noise in the picture is contained, given that I photograph in Raw, and therefore with a small adjustment in post-production is perfect, where there is; Light nothing to say, is sharp, precise and fast autofocus, then the stabilizer and engine Stm do their job properly, on a wide angle with these focal had never seen, and seen the little light shooting freehand , the stabilizer is very useful, Been testing in video footage, 10mm seems to have a small Stedy if you are moving and you walk not seen vibrations and very pleasant, although i think no one should have to jump through hoops when i resume .... I highly recommend for those who want as a kit along with other optical quite a wide angle done well and quality, this goal needs to do his duty ....

Pros: I had doubts about the quality and sharpness of having all optical L. Instead quest series' lens is great, very clear and well built. Also equipped with stabilizer. very cheap too.

Cons: A bit 'too "plasticky" and light. Dim but this is already known at the time of 'purchase. I find it absurd not with IT suffered a hood need of this type of lenses. The connection ring nut to the machine body is plastic and not of metal for which a bit 'delicate.

Opinion: Ultimately they are still satisfied. I am a lover of wide-angle and if handled well this lens can give you some great photos. Ultimately the low light is not a big problem because of the short focal length of 'objective that limits blur and then is supplied (fantastic !!) stabilizer. CAUTION: when you purchase separately the hood, recommend buying the original Canon, because at first purchase with hood not original I had clutch problems.

Cons: Poor, very poor sharpness.

Opinion: So, I bought this objective in view of a couple of trips to Malta and Madrid. The lens, relative to the price, it is well built, and looks quite solid. Good autofocus. The big problem, however, is the sharpness just outside the center of the frame, even around f / 8, totally inadequate. Perhaps for that figure should aim for a 10-22 used. Pros: Price, sharpness, stabilizer

Cons: slightly dark, no hood, flare

Opinion: Excellent lens in value for money, especially if we consider that has image stabilization. I was puzzled about purchasing because I feared that the edge sharpness decayed consistently, however even at 10 mm details on the sides of the frame are more than good. The distortion at the edges do not see it so exaggerated, probably because provendendo from Sigma 10-20 with equal focal latter distorted more, and can be solved in postproduction. And 'slightly dark, but we already know at the time of purchase. Almost mandatory use of the hood, as the flare are always around the corner. The lens handles well all openings. Highly recommended the purchase, especially when you have promotions that cut down considerably the guide price indicated here on Juza.

Cons: dark, cartoon TA, distorts a little at short focal lengths

Opinion: I was given to compleanno..che dire..soddisfattissimo. The price is not high and you take home a great ultra-wide-stabilized (and despite the short-throw, helps in many situations). I was not convinced of the motor STM using it but I changed my mind ... I am precise fast and quiet. If you add a good image quality and a reduced weight and size defects are secondary. Cons: At this price no cons, perhaps the bayonet plastic that requires a little care (delicate).

Opinion: Had of late, and sold with all the kit for transition to FF, this goal still me very favorably with the well impressionato.rnConfrontandolo more famous-and expensive-10-22 I have not personally noticed any difference, indeed it seems even sharper this little one super cheap (paid EUR 180 on offer in a chain). The only problem with an "old" APSC limited by ISO (40D) is that it is a little dark, but the stabilizer, as well as the whisper-quiet AF, works very well indeed. Blatant distortion to 10 mm., The rest ... is a wide angle. The maf to 20 cm. that's cool. If you are looking for your first wide angle Canon APSC when there is nothing better as value - price. Pros: cost, weight, af, stabilizer + 4 stops

Cons: some plastic too, but this figure hard to do better.

Opinion: as all ultra-wide requires experience, just be very precise in the frame and vignettare / distorecere is a joke, as we must be able to compensate if the lights are not uniform + that's very own x via the wide angle field of view, but d ' On the other hand what other ultra wide nor not you? Bought by accident in December 2014 xchè hatred wide angles, even after trying the tokina 11-16 2.8, it is superb stabilizatore + 4 stop real, even in low light (night night) to 1/10 second hand shake-nothing, 10 mm + distorts but even that much, optical quality notevole.penso sell it soon or remain in the empyrean of my kit, the wide angle is a focal propio I can not stand. Mounted on aps-c is equivalent to a 16-29, photographing for example palaces, imposing architecture, cityscapes, skyscrapers meneghini, I have never been too long or too corto.Insomma if you want a wide-angle lens that will take many soddisfazioni this is your lens.

Pros: lightning-fast autofocus, good sharpness, lightweight

Cons: slight distortion at short focal

Opinion: I purchased the 10-18 April and after several weeks of heavy use I can safely say that it is a joy to use. Beginner I had never felt so short focal lengths and was stunned especially dall'autofocus: as soon as I left the shop I went around to take and it seemed strange that the photos were always in focus so I looked selector af / mf and , seeing him set af, I realized the effectiveness of the engine af stm, perfect and quiet. However in low light conditions shows the limits in maf. I compared it with the sigma 15-30 FF and although the edges slightly decade in sharpness is almost no distortion (between 15 and 18).

Pros: clear, low distortion (except to 10-11 mm), motor stm inaudible and fast, stable, lightweight, good construction, very low cost.

Cons: objective very dark ring of maf not graduated and still without a full scale (it applies to all stm unfortunately), sold without a lens hood (canon beggars for a piece of plastic could include it).

Opinion: The lens is very valuable, very good. I've had it for about a month and I've made some great shots. As long as there is light all goes well, then in low light you can not work very well if stabilized take 0.2-0.3 seconds or more is always a gamble especially it fits people moving. rnValido to use both on the stand that freehand stabilizzatore.rnLa thanks to the construction and the bayonet in plastic are not a problem, is built bene.rnE 'almost impossible to make us starry skies as not having the grid distance maf not able to work well with the maf.rnSicuramente if one does street and / or panoramas daytime has problemi.rnNonostante did several photos against the sun I've never had problems of flare, even though they speak the reviews on line.rnSe it already has 18-135 stm canon like me, he shares the diameter of the filter and would be compatible as mounting for the hood, but ends up in the visual field at 10-11 mm.

Pros: Lightweight and compact, good sharpness, tremendous value for money

Cons: For what it costs nothing; perhaps the diameter of 67mm filters, which forced me to spend the onerous amount of 5 euro for a step-up adapter to mount 77mm filters that I own;)

Opinion: It 'a lens in its price class, it would seem, judging by the price ... in fact, what a surprise !! I was doubtful whether to buy this for my 60D, or the 10-22 and at the end I did definitely the right choice! is sharp enough, to 10mm stopping down does not buy much in sharpness, but already zooming and closing, it becomes clearer. about precisely the diaphragm I would not write that it is "dark" because I do not use it practically never under f5.6 / 8.0! using it for landscapes or tight places do not feel the need for a 2.8, for example, if you want a lens for night you take a drive! Be careful though, this toy is stabilized! I happen to shoot streams and make them silky even freehand (stabilizer, I swear, it's so quiet that I thought would work: I had to lock me in a room and pull the ear objective to verify a slight noise! ??Incredible !). construction palsticosa seems at first glance but usandol does not give this feeling, the collars are perfect and overall you hold well. fast and accurate autofocus (as the stabilizer, I thought was wrong because it does not feel at all). distortion really contained! resistance to flare quite good. what else to say, little chromatic aberration, visible only in hard as branches exposed to the sun or metal parts. for those who are undecided, as I was, between this and eventually the 10-22 or other wide of third homes say you buy this! spend little and you take home a lens of 2014, stabilized (which can always serve), with AC and less clear as much as others (not think 10-22 is sharper, the maximum are the same)! ah, I forgot, it focuses on the distance of an index finger - the long - allowing the subject to give free rein to creativity!

Pros: Price, sharpness, stabilization, fast and silent AF, lightness

Cons: plastic construction (but for the price at which it sold could not have been otherwise), not bright (but for urban landscapes and is not a big deal)

Opinion: Bought on Amazon for 238 Euros, which I consider extremely competitive price for a ultragrandangolarernDopo've tried on the field, mounted on 7D, I can say that the sharpness is very good, does not distort excessively, the autofocus is fast and quiet, the stabilizer is silent ( than other lenses that I, too L series, you do not hear the classic "buzz", so much so that several times I checked it was on) and, for use by hand, very comodo.rnLa construction is all plastic but I do not think he could claim to be a more to the price at which it venduto.rnNon is bright but, at least for the use that I do (landscapes, natural and urban) is not a big problem given that the diaframmo usually the I close af 9 of 11. In the internal lack of brightness but feels stabilizer compensates for the lack of luminosità.rnPersonalmente I am very satisfied

Pros: Price-Lightness-Sharp Enough

Cons: No hood

Opinion: I purchased this ultra wide lens at a discounted price since last showcase to 249 and I must say I was very pleased with the prestazioni.Facile to use silent AF, stabilizer ok, freehand you can take time to quietly brevi.Consigliato to those who want photographing landscapes, urban and macro.Essenziale buy the lens hood to avoid flare.

Pros: Price - Focus - Sharpness - Weight - locknuts Fluide - Constructive Quality

Cons: Maybe a little Dark - No Hood in Bundle - At Direct sunlight suffers a little Flare

Opinion: I bought this lens almost to debut, although a little "doubtful" for the lack of reviews and extensive testing, I went to my dealer, I conceded the evidence on my body (60D) I was immediately surprised by the speed and above quietness focus STM, we thought about it a few days, and then I bought it, the return from holiday in Puglia can only say that I was very impressed by the quality of this lens, compared to its price! I've also combined some ND filter and polarizer, to 10mm cartoon a little but all recoverable PP, also excellent stabilizer in many contexts where the F4.5 I was under time security has saved me a bit of both ISO and shake-even in video stabilizer behaves very well, if you have a steady enough hand to 10mm there seems to be supported as the image is fixed! overall it's become my favorite optics, especially in landscape! so if you have a 60D and want a superwide as quality / price there isbetter!

Pros: Af lightning and precise quiet, lightweight, all in all well done, excellent color rendering, saturated colors and sharpness very good price ...

Cons: Maybe a little light but for the price it costs .....

Opinion: I bought it yesterday € 275 including the lens hood ... do not you realize when focusing, used to the old style engines af ... puts us really nothing ... then as photographic yield is very good, do not know how 10 is 22, but I think this 10-18 has nothing to envy to his older brother, which costs twice as much, it is true is plastic bayonet including, but do not think that you place it and take off so much often consume ... then it is light and is ideal for those traveling ... It is not very bright, but it's a wide angle for landscapes .... the apertures are not used much, however unlike other wide angles is stabilized. ... With the 70d is a bomb ....

Pros: AF quiet very accurate, cost, footprint,

Cons: not too bright but x 269 euro fine

Opinion: Taken January 21, made some shots in the house and not bad I have to say, even if I have to try the optics in other conditions. Sure there is a lot but the plastic lens is made really well, you do not realize about 70D nemeno to have, overall okay x prezzzo paid is x who does not want a wide-angle x svenarsi quality undoubtedly higher.

Pros: Autofocus quiet, sometimes you do not even realize, is precise and fast, good sharpness and stabilizer exceptionally manageable distortion, excellent plastic and fantastic price, 67mm filter compatible with the 18-135 IS STM (super coupled)

Cons: For the price ... maybe a few little bright but stiXXzzi

Opinion: The lens is really excellent. I was a bit 'dubious when I bought having a lot of low price and having as a competitor the old 10-22, honestly I would do the purchase again and again. Good resolution and sharpness at all focal lengths, very extreme angle. The only difficulty is to learn to take advantage of a good viewing angle so extreme (16-28 on an APS-C Canon) .rnrnLo stabilizer is bestial, at home I took a 1 "freehand.

Pros: Af quiet, accurate and fast, sharp, effective stabilizer, little distortion, super value for the money (got 249 in a day's grace on Amazon :) but well assembled plastic

Cons: the usual lack of the hood (sometimes essential) and a slight flare in backlit ... but at this price!

Opinion: I wanted a superwide and long kept tabs on this view. Just dropped in price, I took the opportunity, immediately order the hood of Profox (12 € ... good quality). The lens is surprisingly sharp, a little vignette 'full aperture but the 70D is that Lightroom is perfectly correct. Although the distortion in 10mm is not overwhelming and easily correctable. A 14mm hardly even notice. The autofocus is quiet and fast, since the sharpness of the focus point shots made, I assume is also very accurate. The stabilization works very well (I think 3 stops) and video to 10mm seems to have a steadicam. The quality, although with attack plastic, looks good and there are no games. Really happy with the purchase!

Pros: Af accurate and fast, sharp, very effective stabilizer, good contrast and colors, price and light weight, good construction.

Cons: For the price none

Opinion: Bought a week ago paid 300 euro complete canon lens hood and with 4 years warranty canon by that I mean that to me is a quest optical unbeatable value for money, has a good sharpness at f fast enough distortion controlled but the thing that I was struck by the precision of f do not make a wrong! Even in critical condition f noise is virtually non-existent and even macros! 70d on the stm af in video is magical!

Pros: AF lightning-fast, accurate and silent. Lens clear and excellently resistant to flare

Cons: For what I paid new (267 €) hard to find.

Opinion: Lens I was waiting since the announcement and I took it without hesitation. Excellent zoom range for those who enjoy photographing landscapes. Af instantaneous and accurate on both 70D that of 1000D even in unfavorable light conditions. Distorts very little through good sharpness at the center of the frame and less at the edges, but given the price paid does not consider it a defect, such as a bayonet plastic. The lens gives the feeling of a more solid and well-built than the classic optic kit. I recommend it to those who do not have large budgets and those who are not willing to spend twice for the 10-22, since the performance is very similar.

Pros: Fast and silent AF, sharpness, price, weight, image stabilization

Cons: Too much plastic, poor equipment (just the lens), vignetting at TA

Opinion: I bought it on Friday 19 at the end of a shop in Rome after much thought and thought. The day after I installed and used it without evidence for a trip to Perugia. I was happily surprised by the lightness, maneuverability and speed with which you can take foto.rnSicuramente put the photos on my gallery. The AF is lightning I also have a 70D and quoto what he said Chiccochrys you do not realize even that has focused on the object no noise no movement seems to have come from space. It 's true lots of plastic although quality but does not move around as the first 18-55 I had. The council now really want to buy some filters for the fun and I want to try it with my 1000D, I think it will be difficult to remove it from the machine.

Pros: AF incredibly quiet and fast (I thought did not work), stabilization, sharpness, price

Cons: Not very bright, a TA cartoon slightly, too much plastic, as usual missing the lens hood.

Opinion: I bought it a few days ago and the few tests I have done have confirmed everything good that I had read the reviews here on Juza and on other forums. The AF was a real surprise, the stabilization works well and the images have good sharpness at f4 and excellent down to F7.1. A little 'vignette to TA (nothing irrecoverable, anyway). Too bad too much plastic: I can understand the objectives for really cheap, but for a lens of about 300 €, at least the bayonet could be made of metal. And then, lack of home Canon, in the package there are never any lens hood and pouch ...

Pros: Lightweight, "cheap", stabilized, good yield, af quiet and lightning

Cons: Low resistance to flare

Opinion: I'm using it now for a month or so, maybe not for what he was born to, or for the panoramic photos, but I must say that behaves really well, the range of focal lengths allows you to create very original compositions. The sharpness is good, with a slight post production you can pull off great photos. The Af scares (positive) combined with the 70d you do not even notice that engages the subject if not for the beep. :-) Now I have to start using it in the right way ...:-) but the feelings are positive, for what it costs him straconsiglio.

Pros: Af fast and quiet (although I believe it does not work)

Cons: dim, and perhaps the materials plasticky, although in my opinion the plastic looks good.

Opinion: I only did a few shots in the house, both inside and outside in the garden, and for now whereas before I used the 18 to 55 kit, I feel satisfied, the autofocus is quick and quiet, the brightness is a bit 'his weak point , but for the price it seems good, and the distortions are acceptable, however, in the week I'll try for good.

Pros: Cost, speed and weight (for me the light weight is an advantage)

Cons: Lack of the lens hood (essential), at least the bayonet would have preferred metal.

Opinion: Just purchased and tried a little but I'm satisfied. Worth 100% of its price. Pity about the lack of a lens hood (a must!) Which forced me to buy a 73b not original 9Euro (the 73c Canon coast folly in rapport to the cost of the lens) that I have adapted by reducing the fins courtyard of about 2mm. For those interested in this change a Google search with key "EW EW 73c vs 73b" will lead you to a couple of articles in English very exhaustive.

Pros: Objective lightweight (for me it is a merit!), Careful construction (absolute absence of games of the rings), excellent detail rendition even at the edges, excellent color rendition with rich, saturated colors even in a day is not very bright, I have not detected aberration chromatic significant (but will leave that to more targeted testing), low distortion, perfect uniformity of exposure to various pairs shutter speed / aperture, lightning-fast autofocus, stabilizer really efficient.

Cons: Understandable (and obvious) light fall on the edges at full aperture (close enough to a stop and remedied), bayonet plastic (but knew it, and not for use in exasperation that I do not think I will create problems).

Opinion: Retired now, at a price slightly higher than that reported in the card; nothing particular to add to what was said above: the first though perhaps not too extensive tests done, I'm very happy with the purchase and I believe that this lens will not make me regret the original Canon 10-22 (which incidentally I still have and is not said he should sell it); I bought the 10-18 IS, needless to say, because of the stabilizer, which are a firm believer that more and not so much the fact of being able to take pictures in low light freehand but because, I am loving the exaggerated perspectives, I I often take pictures with the camera a few inches from the ground, often in awkward positions and precarious, and this does not help to maintain a steady hand! For me, it is absolutely yes!

Pros: Price, quiet AF (I thought did not work)

Cons: Expect a lot from entry-level, perhaps too much. It costs less than 300 € is true, but it's too couple with "plasticotti" a third of the price.

Opinion: Purchased on Tuesday will try it well over the weekend and if I will write again. I admit that the impression that you were reading rave about the time they need strong confirmations. I do not deny of being a little disappointed with the first shots but made a bad light and bad people. I tried it on my new 60D camera body (before I was using a 1100D) and so I have to take my hand.
