Pros: Great machine, great AF, great ergonomics, burst, silent shot

Cons: nobody

Opinion: This machine if you know what you are buying, has no cons. It has an exceptional af module, accompanied by a 10 fps burst that are entirely adequate for birdlife and nature in general. The body combined with the battery grip is very ergonomic. I took it instead of the 70D, and never chosen it was more right, af better, exceptional viewfinder, fully customizable af settings with the various scenes, burst with 3fps more than in some cases does not hurt. The younger sister is a machine that is fine as a handyman, but honestly the 7D II in my opinion must be combined with a full frame, because it is very specialized, it is a body dedicated to action. I only sold it because after buying the 5DSr I was no longer able to use anything else!

Pros: Shooting speed and AF tracking capacity, AF sensor coverage, 100% viewfinder cover, iso seal to be an APS-C, granite construction, right amount of pixels for an APS-C, extremely reliable exposure meter, effective spot exposure.

Cons: Exposure level indicator on the right side, missing articulated monitor.

Opinion: Purchased as a third body machine, to be combined with 5d MKIII and 6d MK II to take advantage of the multiplication factor and shooting speed, as well as AF, I was positively impressed by the solidity of the construction, the immediate feeling for the arrangement of the controls similar to 5d MK III and the good resistance to weather. In the past I have had both the 7d old and the 80d and I must say that compared to the first it has improved what was good had been achieved, while compared to the second it shows a better operating speed and a less plastic construction and despite a Dynamic Range perhaps a little less wide I would say, which digests the high ISOs better up to 3200 max. I do not agree very much with the position of the exposure level indicator placed sideways on the right of the viewfinder which is not exactly easy to read if you do not place your eye perfectly in the center. The unwinded monitor may be a miss, but 99% of the shots you take with 7d MK II do so with your eye glued to the viewfinder. Born for sports and shots from considerable distance, thanks to the multiplication factor it is a revelation in photos at close range. Satisfied with the purchase, I highly recommend it.

Pros: 100% viewfinder coverage. Fast and precise AF. Solid construction like a rock. Better ergonomics than the old 7D and 5D MKIII. 500 Pages of manual + manual AF. 10 frames per second. Flicker function. Double slot.

Cons: Articulated screen. Lack of Wifi. Not exciting battery life (but not a big deal). 500 Pages of manual + manual AF. He suffers from high ISOs. A few points to F8.

Opinion: When I bought the 7D MKII I wanted to compare it with the 80D to understand which one was the best. I needed a machine to use as a second body (alongside 6D) or main body for birdlife. Hand data it seems that the 7D II only has the advantage of the AF, otherwise the 80D had to be better (more AF points at F8, articulated display, new sensor, new exposure meter and above all white balance). Certainly for general use the 80D is a better choice, but for a use related to sports and photographic hunting, the greater responsiveness of the AF system, combined with a more solid body and more professional ergonomics, a 100% viewfinder, the double slot, the flicker function for indoor sports and the 10 fps make her win the challenge. However, the MKII 7D sensor is not as evil as it sounds. As a former owner of 7D OLD and 5D MKIII, I can say that it will certainly have a stop of advantage on the 7D OLD, but by raising the ISOs to have faster times, but in the presence of good light, the 7D MKII creates much more workable files, so much so that you can safely shoot at 3200 ISO, I would also risk the 4000 if the light is very good. In general the grain is much better than that of the 7D OLD. Compared to the 80D it has less than 1 stop ahead. Moreover, the best 80D performance is only evident at low ISO. The colors are great, better than the 7D OLD and also the 80D (often a bit flat). As an AF it is certainly superior to that of the 5D MKIII, with also the advantage of shooting at F8. Unfortunately, the points at F8 are really too few and not fast enough and distributed to be able to exploit them for photographic hunting. The configuration of the AF is very complex, the presets are very good, but you have to learn to know them to use them at the right times. The 500-page manual + the manual for AF, I put it in both pros and cons. Certainly having such a detailed manual makes it clear how professional this product is, but at the same time it discourages most users from reading it and partly understanding it. Even with the 90D output, this 7D II I think is always the aps-c professional machine of the house. In fact, it is still a reference as AF (that of 90D is an evolution of that of 80D). I expect the release of the MKIII 7D in the future, even though we are in the ML era, I don't think Canon misses the opportunity to take advantage of what he put on the 1DX MKIII. Like all good things you realize how much they are only after you no longer have it, in fact I do this review after selling the car, but certainly if the economies allow it in the future I will buy it back.

Pros: Robustness, design and functions similar to high-end "sisters", silent and fast autofocus

Cons: high ISO yield, battery life resolved with the optional use of rechargeable stylus, more than doubled autonomy.

Opinion: I bought this machine in 2016, it gave me a lot of satisfaction, I used it as a second body, I had shelved it for a while, for the simple reason that with a charge of batteries, I could barely take 500-600 photos at most, a problem that I brilliantly solved with the use of 6 rechargeable stylus batteries of 2800.. now it is completely another story, it abundantly exceeds 1500 shots and resists quite well even on video footage. I would like to replace the 18-135 with a more performing and bright lens, because if you already get decent results with this lens, let alone if you mount a brighter lens ... I have to say, in the end, canon is always canon!

Pros: Speed af, silent burst.

Cons: In low light situations it is bad, you knead the files which is a pleasure.

Opinion: Taken to flank the 5d4, it is excellent only if you use it in affordable light situations, the 5d4 is on another planet. I use both bird reflexes and part of the af and the 10 frames for everything else I am not happy, it is a machine that suffers a lot from the absence of light and clearly the high iso, even with lenses such as the 600mm sofre anyway, I think I will sell it to take another FF to join the 5d4. Vote 5

Pros: Autofocus in general, burst, silent shot

Cons: ISO high yields in low light, autofocus conditions in complex background conditions

Opinion: I have been owning this camera for more than a year and that some "defects" I found I noticed them only by comparing it to a series 1. Perfect autofocus in optimal conditions, if it gets away with complex backgrounds if the subject occupies a good portion of frame. Perfect for birds where thanks to the apsc format allows you to portray subjects without getting too close. Silent shot that helps a lot with dodgy subjects, only real mole is the high iso yield that clearly can not be that of a ff like the series 5. The customizable burst of up to 10 fps is another ace in the machine of a light body and that has a correct price for its qualities. In my opinion a very good room, grade 9

Pros: Pro body, burst, AF, customization possibilities and very wide settings, great LV with dual pixel

Cons: Battery life a little poor, image quality at high ISO

Opinion: I've been sifting through this reflex from top to bottom over the last few months, at body/grip level it's really great, nothing even see with the series 6, which I own. The menus are very complete and relatively simple, you can customize pretty much everything to your liking, both in terms of functions and keys. The AF on moving subjects is good, great, maybe not mind-blowing nowadays with some ML doing better, but at other prices. I had a couple of chances to test it relatively on Motocross and drift cars, trackside, so AF difficulties at high levels and performed very well. Of course you have to learn a little to use it and to "help" it in complicated situations, you can not expect that photographing "ad cazzum" you get excellent results. I noticed that, under specific conditions, it is very very important to find the right CASE of the AF to have good results. If you sect it all well, it's a great satisfaction. The gust is really extreme, in some cases even excessive if set to the maximum (10 fps), but you can rest easy, the menu gives you the ability to set the fps to your liking both on H(fast) burst, on normal burst and even on silent burst, so you can set 3 different values and quickly choose what you need at the moment without switching from the menus all the time. The blackout in the 10fps burst is not bad, you manage well to follow the subject, even better if you set the burst around 8fps. At the level of image quality I am satisfied in half, as far as colors is really good but as detail and sharpness image in general with long focals is fine, but I noticed that shooting at times of about 1/80 or 1/100 with a 50mm you often get micromosse images, it resolves easily raising the times to at least three times the focal. I think it's because of the vibrations in the mirror. This problem decreases as the focal lengths increase, so with a 200mm you don't need to shoot at 1/600 but just 1/400, which is twice the focal point, as on every aps-c. As for noise, I think it's good until 3200 ISO, 6400 ISO depends on light conditions, but they start to be a bit problematic. I l sight... a joy! Apart from the fact that at a 100% coverage and it is 1x, that the points of AF are pop-up and you can set whether to display them all or only those in use, if after you have made the af make them disappear or make them remain active, if you make them light up red etc etc in the crosshairs you can set a lot of functions, for example the level, miscellaneous alerts, display the mode in which you are shooting, display if we are in One Shot or Ai-servo, if you have active burst or single shot etc etc The Live View is a strong point of this machine, has a very good AF that recognizes the faces and follows them, it is almost as fast as the focus in the focus mode. The click noise is discreet, not too loud, if you set the silent shot becomes very very quiet, even if the blackout in both single shot and silent burst increases a lot and to me from a little bother especially in the burst. Overall I find it a great reflex with regard to the side of use experience (grip, feeling, customizations, viewfinder etc),as image quality still remains an APS-C, although high level, so it will not have that cleaning and image engraving that have the FF. I also own a 6D and I think that the two machines are completely complementary, indeed, I highly recommend this pairing, so you can have two bodies, one oriented more dynamic jerky, with factor of crop 1.6x and powerful burst and the other more for static shots but with more image quality and with definitely higher iso tightness.

Pros: Solid body, fast and quick af an entire dedicated menu.

Cons: The af system, holding high iso, battery life

Opinion: I have been waiting for the purchase of this machine since the first edition, now that I have it in my hands.... I am satisfied with this machine body. Arriving on 26 March 2020 I did some tests from the balcony and in the garden, with 300 f4, 50 f1.4, 70-200 f2.8 is and 24-105 f4 with related ext 2x and 1.4x. Let's start by saying that it is a machine born for the action and the menu entirely dedicated is proof of this. Perhaps a little too sophisticated but effective, to study and understand better. Fast burst with state-of-the-art cf. Very solid body that grips at its best. Unfortunately it lacks wifi but with dedicated card it solves the problem at the expense of the second slot sd. Coming from 60d, 80d and 6dmk2 I find uncomfortable the buttons on the left and the joystick that in the end is always accompanied by the use of the main dial, even the lack of touch and orientable screen is felt. But I think it's because the machine is semi-pro and entirely tropicalized. The files are light and very detailed, but if you want to croppare better do not use high iso, even do not raise the 1600 iso if possible. As already reported in other users the battery lasts little, I think it is due to the fact of the two processors and the fast burst. As I promised myself... finished the lock down period I immediately proceeded to sell it. There's never been a real feeling. I was a little disappointed.

Pros: Construction, ergonomics speed AF, born for speed

Cons: In the same place my suffering at high ISO,and the battery drains quickly, but the problem is solved with a spare or possibly a battery grip

Opinion: What to say, coming from a 550D the jump is great, professional machine, at first impact can scare the myriad of possible AF settings, but once set properly gives great emotions! Impressive AF speed, in AI SERVO with 65 active points is really scary. Very convenient the ability to customize the keys to your liking.

Pros: Very fast machine as af and for yield ...... fantastic by nature and spirt

Cons: Nobody..... just to find the hair in the egg to have to have to have to have to remove the sd

Opinion: It's a fantastic car much better than the already great 7d I've had before. In order I preferred it to the 5 series of which I had the whole range. It certainly depends on the type of photos that You do mainly shoot for sport and nature and for the routine sold eos 5 I used the Gx and now larp plus a supercompact. Going back to the 7dmk2 I appreciate the speed of shooting the excellent autofocus and the ability to use high-quality optics. Of course the exhibit is not that of the Nikons.... how to use it in fact there is not only automation. Great machine

Pros: Lightning, gust, speed, ergonomics

Cons: if we want ISO holding not at the top

Opinion: After more than 3 years and passing of use, after passing for the model of the first series I can say that it is an exceptional reflex, considering the purchase price. The ergonomics are great, the body is really professional and the best of it certainly makes for sports photos and bird life. It's a real splinter. sometimes I choose the slow repeated shot as the burst is so fast that it produces several unwanted double shots. I think it's also great for other areas, so for me as APS-C it's really remarkable even after several years of being released. Of course, in suboptimal light conditions it goes a little into crisis and the image suffers. I took home good shots anyway even at high ISO, although better not to overdo it and after the 2000 you have to settle. Now that I've had some experience with a full frame, I can say that 7D mark2 remains a gorgeous camera, to buy certainly for bird lovers who don't want to spend exorbitant amounts. Great car! especially when used with quality lenses

Pros: FAST and accurate AF, burst, readiness

Cons: Battery Grip less comfortable than the previous version

Opinion: I had it for 4 years and I just reluctantly sold it (but by now it was relegated to third body and it was a shame to see it always in the closet). A faithful companion of a thousand sports reports, from indoor matches to track races, through events, ceremonies and when it is also served in the studio. I always found myself very well, certainly does not have the yield of an FF but I always preferred it to 5D for its greater readiness and speed... the only flaw I feel to find him is on Battery Grip which to make room for the second Joystik no longer has the opening with tipper door but the obnoxious trolley that must be extracted completely from the bottom (it looks like a small thing but when you're changing the battery on the fly While you're moving, you need a support for the car or... third hand!) I certainly recommend it to those who intend to exploit it intensively and scramble it for good, it is a professional machine in all respects, but at a more affordable price than a flagship.

Pros: Gust, AF module, general robustness, double board, joystick

Cons: Limits to high ISO, wifi absence, touchsreen absence, AF limitations with multipliers

Opinion: Having for almost 3 years has given me enormous satisfaction. An "all-rounder" reflex dedicated to naturalistic and action photography but that does not disdain its use in landscape, portraiture and macros. It is enhanced with L-series optics. The only flaw is the poor hold of high iso files (jpeg) and the absence of the touchscreen. I also mention the limitation of the AF module with focal multipliers. In short, it is a great camera, robust, ergonomic and extremely versatile that in its field (and not only) that has always given me satisfaction and absolute reliability.

Pros: AF system, burst and build quality

Cons: Sensor

Opinion: Used for 2 years as a second body for wildlife photography, exceptional focus and burst system, unfortunately the files at 3200 iso are the maximum limit to have a good quality, 6400 a souvenir photo. I repeat used only for birdlife, son Sigma 150-600 Sport and Canon 500 F4, I can not judge other types of photography, but I think the same is the same. Of course by doing a heavy post the file you can pull out, me who snaps into JPEG you have to please

avatarjunior
sent on June 04, 2019

Pros: All

Cons: Limited battery life.

Opinion: I decided, just now, to insert an opinion for this camera that I own from 2015 with a series of lenses from very to medium bright but of good quality, progressively purchased. I've done an infinity of photos and videos that I memorize, now, in the Blu-ray. The real photographic locker I brought forward with her while not the only camera I had. I also used a 6d that I carefully rated. I think I can say that the 7d Mark II is really a great camera with allows you to compose really valid shots in various situations if it has objectives at its level. Raising the ISO up to 2000 photos are always very contraste and "deep". It also positively accepts third party goals. A separate chapter I do for the composition of the videos. I realized, really many, in various situations. To theatre, concerts, essays and dynamic outdoor shooting. If you have a valid external audio recorder, maybe with some microphone, you can get without the theme of denial, a professional result. Even in the condition of very poor brightness, equipped with a 1.4 objective, the filming is excellent. Always register in full HD 60p. The autofocus, for me is really valid if well set in all conditions of use. Hardly wrong a shot, maybe what I'm going to assert would seem absurd but I evaluated, for my needs the purchase of the last 5d IV with a test of 5 DAYS. Through an acquaintance of mine. For what I do, for videos, for action photos, despite being an excellent FF, I think it is absolutely useless to buy it, even if it remains the great desire to do so.

avatarjunior
sent on March 08, 2019

Pros: Build quality, ergonomics, super-fast focus system, dual-pixel sensor, GPS, stunning viewfinder showing 100%. Even the video footage, albeit limited to Full HD, is excellent, fully configurable and supported by microphone and stereo headphone jacks. The image quality, up to 3200 ISO, is very good, especially if you shoot in RAW. The command arrangement is the same as the EOS 5d Mk III. It has a double memory card.

Cons: Non-orientable and non-"touch" screen, considerable weight, considerable battery consumption.

Opinion: Although now a little ' aged, is still a formidable camera especially for action shots. Even in portrait, children and landscape photography It's great if you feel you are carrying its considerable weight, but appreciating its excellent build quality and its beautiful viewfinder. I was able to squeeze his focusing capabilities by photographing skaters who toured a skating field, at 10 frames per second: Once the "target" was hooked, he didn't quit. Basic does not have WiFi, but you can install via a dedicated coupon that replaces the memory card type SD. For my use I can do without: I prefer to have two memory cards, a CF for RAW and an SD for JPEG. If you love the Canon system, but don't want to spend on an EOS 1 and you "settle in" the APS-C format, it's still a great choice. Bring a spare battery, charge.

Pros: burst, af, iso, ergonomics, Raw Quality

Cons: Battery life

Opinion: I love this camera and I have it for over a year. I can't find him any faults apart from the exaggerated consumption of the batteries. The quality of the files that churn out are excellent and raise the ISO not a problem (in its limits) since it remains an apsc. Impressive gust and excellent ergonomics. It's called 7dii but it has nothing to do with the old 7d where the exits were divided between joys and sorrows.

Pros: Autofocus, responsiveness, high ISO output. JPG very nice. Great all around, lets you snap thinking about the rest.

Cons: The only cases where you need the post are the photos with strong contrast in which it is recommended to underexpose and pull up the shadows at a later time

Opinion: Used to have a reactive reflex and I'm never disappointed. Customizable in the smallest detail (from the minimum shutter speed, ISO, AF behavior, the two slot management mode, the buttons). Viewfinder 100%. Fast and reliable Autofocus both through the viewfinder and in Live View. In the house Canon hard to find better. Very good gust and buffers. Great using two cards. JPEG, in my opinion very good from the start except in high contrast situations. It lacks wifi but behaves very well with an eye-fi card, with which it is obvious to the problem. As sensor quality we are in light and shadows. The surprising side is that at 3200-6400 ISO if there is cmq a wire of light (interior restaurant) you get very usable shots and a grain of noise for nothing annoying. Surprising considering it's crop. The side where perhaps you could do better are those cases with an extreme contrast in which exhibits a slight tendency to burn the highlights. In that case (also seen that the shadows come decently) The strategy is to underexpose and pull up in post the shadows. It is logical to compare a similar machine to a FF and in the comparison comes out with the head high because it gives the tranquility of a 1dx at a much lower price. Obviously, for optical issues can not get to the blur of an F 1.4 on FF, but coupled cmq coupled with bright lenses (for example the Sigma 30 and 50 F 1.4 that behave like F2) you can do almost everything with serenity focusing on the shot and not on the MA Machine. And it's not a little

Pros: AF module, reactivity, price

Cons: JPEG does not measure up, no wi-fi

Opinion: I picked up an aps-c body after a period of total addiction to FF. The crop factor is necessary in some situations, and rather than mount a multiplier and lose speed and brightness I preferred a new camera body, given the attractive price I found new. I had loved (little) and hated (much) the old 7 d, and for this I was kept away from his heir, but after 60 d, 70D and 80D I was wanting a more massive body from abuse in the outputs in nature. I could try for a few days thanks to a friend, and after reviewing the RAW (JPEG improvement IMHO) I decided it was the right machine. An AF customizable and with a great, even better reactivity 5DIII I (albeit slightly but better). Full compatibility with Tamron lenses that I have, and excellent resolution. ISO handling is that of a smaller package. Up to 1600 there is need little pp, plus the noise is there, but in those cases I use 5DIII. One thing missing, and that I had enjoyed on other bodies (6 d, 70D and 80D) is the assenda of wi-fi, convenient to remotely control the camera. In fact you could solve with the SD of Canon, but so you lose the convenience of double slots. Other than that, for me is promoted to major.

Pros: Responsiveness, speed and precision AF. High resolution, manageable digital noise to medium iso - low (I shot up to 800 iso). Price used very interesting.

Cons: Battery consumption but it's a relative problem...

Opinion: I needed a sportier body to accompany the 5dIII and for a few weeks I bought a used 7dII about a year. I chose the used as I was doubtful both for the opinions from other users and for the tests done personally in 2015. What about... I am pleasantly amazed. I had tried the newly released reflex and the files did not like me very much in comparison to 1d4 and 5d3, also it seemed that the files of the 7d2 were underexposed 2/3 of stop at the same iso (which was also found in a test made by a serious magazine that rated 2/3 stop the difference between real iso and nominal iso). Maybe the firmware was acerbic, maybe over the years they optimized production maybe the Canon DPP software has improved so much? I do not have an answer but the results seem different to me, that is, better than in the past. From the first shots I really liked the 400-500 iso despite the simple work-flow... Canon DPP for TIFF and then old Photoshop Elements to get the jpeg. The responsiveness and focus speed of the 7dII with 100-400is II and 500is II is great and very good with 500 plus 1.4x. At the moment I have not gone over 800 iso in birdlife and the results are very good considering the minor sensor (personal opinion, of course). To do a test I took some shots at a building surrounded by trees and human subjects from 100 iso to 3200 iso and I must say that the file begins to be noisy and with little detail only in the shadow yaves over 640-800 iso. I repeat at the moment the shots made in good light I like a lot.

Pros: Top autofocus, burst, quality of raw files, building a true professional SLR 100% viewfinder, dual slot, ergonomics,

Cons: Barteria duration if you often uses the display, high ISO but it's normal, dynamic range.

Opinion: I have this camera for some months now and I can say that it is fantastic, it is a pleasure to use it. a massive body like a real pro with keys in the right place and superior ergonomics for me that I have big hands, autofocus top just a bit complex to set up, great for a 20 mpx apsc, iso 1600 without noise, usable up to over 3200 starts to be annoying but no picture n is made of only iso and here as said before l AF is by applause ... reproach to Canon didn't have given a higher dynamic range, at least as that of 80d but the latter was born about 2 years later ... obviously it goes without saying that it is for use with L series lenses to have quality in files. Rating 9.

Pros: Af speed, Gust, silence

Cons: High ISO in low light

Opinion: I had the previous model (at 800 ISO had already a bad noise) and 1 d iii (exciting file but only 10 megapixels) I use it only for birds, side-by-side with the 5Diii. I was very undecided about purchasing, having read about it, the worse things, but it was the only way to "stretch" my 100 400 (plus tc 1.4 iii) and have a proper barrage without svenarmi. Side-by-side with the perfect high percentage as well: never a 5Diii subjects in focus, much more fast and precise flight. With good light files are good up to ISO 1600, acceptable up to 3200. Some files are not comparable, however using the 5 d in low light, and the 7 d with adequate light, I solve all situations.

Pros: Almost everything

Cons: Shooting with high ISO but you can safely work around

Opinion: Contrary to those who preceded me I consider it the best car on the market today for birds. I hope they continue to badmouth a fuss of this car so I will have the opportunity to purchase additional 10. I own the Canon 1Ds Mark III that I use for other kinds of images. Certainly cannot deny that at high ISO suffers but I believe that everything can be solved simply with a post production aimed, moreover, just browse the images by those who know his stuff regarding the development of RAW and We know that you can get excellent results.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: All

Opinion: Unreliable machine for precision AF, high iso, dynamic range, sold as quickly as possible, often touches the subject in flight, or on the go, so if I've got some pictures with static subjects then don't do more images. Unfortunately the apsc Canon is far behind the competition if this machine must represent the Top!

Pros: high ISO, burst, AF, battery life, controls, raw quality, 65 maf points, double slot, build quality, silent shooting, 100% viewfinder, AF up to f / 8

Cons: fixed screen, poor dynamic range

Opinion: Used mainly for photographic and macro hunting, in these respects nothing is missing, except for the adjustable screen for macro.rnMi has very, very surprised, the resistance to high ISO, at least compared to the old 7D. At 1600 the photo is excellent, at 3200 still good. With the old 7D at 800 ISO they were to be thrown away. Before buying I read on the various forums that from this point of view the gap between mkI and mkII regarding the iso, was not such as to justify its replacement. It is not at all like that, at least for me (always shooting in raw). Coupled to 600 pulls out of the amazing files. In this period I have also had the chance to compare it to my 5D mkIII and believe me the difference in iso estate is not as deep as one would have led to believe. This is demonstrated by the fact that I put on sale the 5.rnLeggo that many complain about battery life. The stabilizer of the 600 consumes a lot, then the gust, etc. rnEven with outputs from morning to evening I have never been dry (over 2000 shots), all with a single battery, in the cold, and even to see it blink.

Pros: excellent photo quality on high quality targets (beautiful colors), three-dimensional photos, 10 photos/sec burst in raw, Robust camera body, grip well, intuitive controls, many AF options, with low brightness good freehand photos if the light is homogeneous, large photos that involve the ability to make cutouts while maintaining good photo quality, good automatic HDR function, ability to quickly set the shooting of movies, shooting in raw you can improve the photo quality with the programs provided by Canon, but with high quality lenses the photos come out beautiful even without PP.

Cons: low dynamic range, with standard designed .jpg photos come out slightly veiled (especially for panoramic photos) and if 100% unseen, at night it is difficult to automatically balance white works well, poor range of shades of red and yellow, it is difficult to 'lighten' the dark/black parts of a photo even at low ISO, in photos in the night sky you notice horizontal grooves trying to increase the brightness of dark areas, the GPS function is often slow to take the signal or fails. On some objectives (especially those with f less than 1.8) the focus is wrong by aiming from the viewfinder. The error does not correct with the Front and Back focus adjustment because it is too random and too extensive.

Opinion: The photos normally come out slightly veiled and with little dynamic range, particularly if they are panoramic photos. It is advisable to shoot in raw and elaborate with appropriate programs (also Canon DPP) mainly to increase the dynamic range and increase sharpness. For example, the photos taken with the old Canon G5 are of excellent quality (as you can see https://www.juzaphoto.com/me.php?pg=144193&l=it) even if they come out as .jpg and are very sharp, with saturated and bright colors: there is no need for any post production. If we take photos in .jpg the image quality is mediocre with the Canon EOS 7D and even worse with the Canon EOS 450. Only with photos made in raw and with post production you can get a great quality of photos. But there are striking examples of photos taken with EOS 7D that with a modest PP are spectacular in my opinion: they are very sharp (even at 100% magnification), with saturated and well contrasted colors (examples: https://www.juzaphoto.com/hr.php?t=2138103&r=96921&l=it - https://www.juzaphoto.com/hr.php?t=1732643&r=19965&l=it): if you can create a good light with the flash or in any case take a good light, photos taken with the EOS 7D are spectacular up to ISO 400 or even 800. In these cases the image quality of the old Canon G5 is largely outdated. When we are around photographing places and/or very beautiful things often the photos do not cover well the very bright areas at the same time as the dark areas (it happens in particular with fisheye). In this case the HDR function of the machine is very useful which thanks to the remarkable speed of execution of 3 shots (if there is a lot of light it performs them in 3/10 of a second!) can be done freehand. The photos come out as .jpg, but as a souvenir photo of a trip they are fine. If instead we want a nice photo starting from the raw we do a braketing of the exposure (for example with exposure -2, 0 and +2, of course it is better to put the flurry to be able to take these 3 photos in very quick succession) and then we do an HDR that combines the 3 PP photos (if we managed to hold our hand still on a chosen point then the resulting photo is sharp). Clearly the union of a sequence of shots to make HDR cannot be done if there are fast-moving objects. The photos I took of my daughter when she played football on a beautiful sunny day came great thanks to the barrage of 10 photos per second that allows you to choose the best one. Movies come in well and activate quickly. I have a lot of fun making movies at the microcosm ... here the scenes cover a few cm2. P.S. After about 3 years of further use of this camera I can say that with quality goalses you can get beautiful photos not only at ISO 100, but also at high ISOs if there is good/homogeneous light. With very sharp goalses you get a high quality even looking at the photo 100% or even 200% as if it were a Full Frame (see my photo "A wisteria under the olive trees"). In particular, I think it is excellent to make colors even at high ISOs. With these goals you almost don't need to do post-production. The best lens I have is the Canon 65 mm MP-E only for macros (images are carved on the sensor), then the Samyang at 16 mm, the Samyang Fisheye at 8 mm, the Canon EF-S 24 mm and the Canon EF-S 60 mm macro. The Sigma 24 mm f1.4 and canon EF 50 mm f1.8 also take beautiful sharp and clean photos, but the 7D misses autofocus by looking from the viewfinder with this lens and I am forced to use the Live-View.

Opinion: I think all the chatter said by someone who does not even post his shots is useless and harmful to those who do it. the machine is really performing enough to be aware of the limits that intrinsically each camera has: this I think that today 2017 there are more valid competitors I think of a d500 nikon but the market price does not play in his favor for those like me who mainly shoot for photographic hunting the coupled with 100-400 is II is really the top today and I challenge anyone on the field to say otherwise good light to all the JUZZINI in listening you are wonderful THANK YOU! 9 full vote.

Pros: AF, Image Quality, File Workability, Scary News!

Cons: Maybe the battery life

Opinion: I bought this fantastic car that compared to the 1100d that I had before is just another planet. The burst is scary, it's a machine gun! I was also amazed at the quality of the picture, great, great workability of the file! Used together with the Tamron 70-300 VC is a bomber! The only downfall is perhaps the battery that does not really last much. Well, if one can buy another one. Truly a fantastic car, now used only for portraits, I expect to use it in birdlife and sports! Good luck Canon!

Pros: So much technology, viewfinder rich in any information.

Cons: Iso sensor sensor is not as stated in the battery test.this technology test but ineffective.

Opinion: I came from a 7D Mark 1 and I tried to make the quality jump with the mark2 because with the mark1 I really took so much satisfaction in so many situations. In this case I was really disappointed by this camera as it certainly has so much technology But really poor image quality to be the flagship of the aps-canon, and the much-flattered focus system is by no means effective as it is said. In short, it seems like a real flop of the Canon House and more of a marketing find. I would go back to 7D Mark 1 where the 18-megapixel sensor however shows less background noise. If you really want to buy this camera the only reason why it is right to do it is for the bird, but do not expect huge results. I think that for such a situation for my experiences it is much better a 1D Mark III or Mark IV which has a sensor that generates files sharper and more workable in post.

Pros: Image quality, ISO hold, burst, AF system really fast and accurate

Cons: Everyone says battery life but I always have 2 with me and I use little monitor ... Even making macros feel the lack of articulated / adjustable monitors

Opinion: Used for 2 weeks instead of 7D old, it's a really big step forward. I was particularly surprised by the image quality and the relatively high tallness: I usually do not exceed the 1600 (daytime photographer and with good light) and while with the 7D over the 320-400 I had to work on the files, with this the limit is Taller and I think we can talk about a gain of about 1 stop. Then, what's the point, the AF system is superlative: extremely responsive, precise and matched with a burst of fear! Many are frightened by the manual and the menu setting, but after reading the manual, the menus are well-explained and immediately felt: now navigate easily between the menus and the settings - the rest is just experience and proof ( But already with few exits I got great shots). I would also prefer to have the flexibility of using the articulated monitor, but I would say it is a secondary "defect". It would have been curious to know the benefits that he could have offered if he had been APSH, but he might have stolenTo stage some series 1 ...

Pros: High ISO up to 1600, impressive 10x shutter speed, solid body, file quality even in jpeg, crop factor x1.6 (if useful), focus 65 fastest and always perfect.

Cons: big over and 3200, confusing focus settings menu, unmatched battery life (600 shots with 17 55 2.8), no wifi and touch screen (not very useful but still better), really top weight

Opinion: Awesome machine under many perspectives: The 20mpx is just perfect as a compromise between crops and high yield iso, magnesium alloy body that has a strong sense of robustness and the feeling of having something absolutely premium in hand. I have been able to test focus several times with moving subjects and on 10 shots I miss one (sometimes), so pretty much amazing. Coupled with a 17 55 2.8 is gorgeous and becomes perfect for so many occasions. Worth what costs as it is a 5d mark 3 but aps-c is with an autofocus and a burst similar to 1dx2. It is only advisable to do portraits or landscaping, in which case the full frame is definitely better.

Pros: Quality construction, excellent workability at high iso file

Cons: focus in iservo absolutely busted ...........

Opinion: I bought the 7dmkII after having sold 7 and rocket because already at 400 iso had a crazy noise. Machine socket for birdlife and sports in general because of the publicity the many autofocus points and a good resistance to high iso. Needless to say I was deeply disappointed in aiservo (I tried all possible solutions) always focuses background or other ........... absolutely amazing how I can do it, although all central points are perfectly positioned where the subject had to be in focus. Believe it or not the 40D is much better ........... after a year of tough resistance and tests I have given way coming to the conclusion that the APSC Canon machines do not need me ..... ....... Too bad because as the first 7 it is very well built, solid and with many options .......... but if I have to use it only in one shot ......... ... it makes no sense to have it .............

Pros: Great professional build quality and excellent AF

Cons: It is a aps-c with ISO higher than average, but less than a modern FF

Opinion: I'm lucky to have this machine for over a year and I can only talk about bene.rnSono increased from aps-c to FF and back a few times, but this surprised me for its qualità.rnNon I agree with those who have given feedback negative for FA and even for ISO.rnInfatti I found some ways the AF in some cases even better performance of the 5D mk iii.rnLe different ways of tracking (case 1 to 6) are well adapted to different situations and customizing separate buttons for program c1, c2, c3, it gives the ability to model the behavior of the machine without having to go from ISO menù.rnGli favorably but obviously not as much as a modern FF. To be clear, the 7d mk ii beats the 5D Mk II, but not the 5D Mk iii.rnLa burst is handled well and gives excellent results especially when combined Dual Card ultraveloci.rnLa cards is useful to handle the rescue forces of the file needs .rnIl weight is well balanced and above all with tele.rnLa build qualityIt is professional: Tropicalised and the skeleton is ultra durable magnesium. The grip makes it one with the hand and is pleasant to hear releases the shutter (also wanting muted for the most demanding) .rnIl limit is constructive on the reduced sensor: it is obvious to say that the depth of field does not make it like a FF . Maybe it is less obvious to think that the advantage of the 1.6x multiplier can see it mostly on canvas (the 70-200 f / 2.8 is priceless with this machine to the increase of focal giving) .rnAbbinata top "17-55 f / 2.8 is "fills a bit 'the gap with the FF for the portrait. This is sublime for yield and speed of AF.rnPer regarding the videos I tried tracking in live view and is really powerful: did not have even the 5D Mk iii.rnNon very even agree with those who complain battery life: 700 shots with one charge is a good result. Buy a spare batteryalso not original (eg. Patona) is a wise choice and the bulk and weight is really modest for chiunque.rnOvviamente, but applies to any body, you need to master well the characteristics and potential of giving: to me, to be passionate , it took another month to personalizzarmi and buttons to know bene.rnLa recommend to any fan who tries to have fun with this little gem.

Pros: Pros: Great manageability, very intuitive menu, excellent construction and very practical use.

Cons: No end of problems, twice in Room Service for mirror replacement, AF dancer who leaves you in breeches of cloth at the climax, the image quality above 2500 ISO absolutely insufficient for a reflex of the genre.

Opinion: A big disappointment. Used in a building, volleyball male and female, with good presence of the public, the AF system is fooled more often and while presenting the point of focus centered on the chosen subject, tends to focus on the subjects behind (public ) Countless unresolved problems in the first instance with mirror replacement in Room Service and partially solved with a second operation to another mirror replacement. Burst system suddenly loses focus and passes the first photo enough focus to others that are completely blurred. Read and reread, tried and tried all the various houses put on fire suggested, there is not one that is truly reliable. RAW files pretty good, but not great up to 2000 ISO it becomes almost indecent above 3500 ISO. rnDopo trying the 5D Mark III and 6D which is certainly not a sports car, I can say that the difference in quality with the 7D is abysmal, a calculated distance in light years, not to mention autofocus, nearly flawlessin 5D and 6D and absolutely deficient in the 7D. Rejection without appeal.

Pros: Af incredible, burst, double slot, key customizations, tropicalization

Cons: Battery life, slow to get out of the stand by, beautiful but fixed screen, display to the right of the viewfinder

Opinion: I've been using it for a few months now instead of the old 7D. What about except that he's on another planet! The af is more precise and much more customizable and I can actually have more decent shots than the 7d, the menu full of functions is well understandable as long as you read the manual well. The file is much cleaner than that of the 7d and very exploitable even at 3200 iso if there is enough light. The body is rock solid and ergonomics excellent. The battery is a bit poor, I can get to 700 shots using very little screen... far from the performance of my 5d2 and my old 7d. I also notice a certain laziness waking up from the stand by, especially compared to my old 7d which seemed more responsive to me at this juncture. It puzzles me on such a machine the lack of the orientable screen, used on 70d, 80d and other Nikon reflexes. I am disoriented by the arrangement of the info inside the viewfinder, especially the display meter when I shoot in manual. But it's definitely just a matter of habit!!!

Opinion: What can I say, great car, taken as a second body after 6d, has an arrow instead of FA. Heavy but professional, the camera body is really well done. Pros: Burst, strength, grip, required to ISO high enough good, quiet shutter, AF fast, customizable menus, weight, dual memory slots.

Cons: Duration of ridiculous battery, GPS, delay in the activation after the stand-by

Opinion: I bought this machine in place of the 7D and I must say it is truly superior and not a little. I do not use it often because the time I have available is not very much but when I pull out from the bag, which is to make hunting or landscapes, this camera fits all. When the wield really feel the robustness of the body. Making hunting it was really stunned by the barrage, fast and precise, that I take home photographs of moments difficult to grasp with slower machines. Cons: lack wi-fi, high ISO excellent sealing but improvable, GPS (explain why)

The menu is huge, every single function of this reflex is Customizable starting, of course, from the autofocus system. pages of the AF settings in all its functions. I quickly assembled the 24-105L for testing, the I place on the stand, snap and immediately I am amazed by one thing ... the shutter, wow, and quiet! in live view is just a rustle and even with the mirror in operation the noise is very low. the soundness of the ISO is indeed great, but the noise is already visible in 2500, I think that Canon's engineers can even do better. we pass to the defects. many complain of the lack of touch screen, but let's think, is really useful in photography? I think only serves to leave fingerprints on the monitor, they could not do swivel, because otherwise they could not put the keys on the sinisbetween the back. I think that a defect is the GPS inutilissimo. first halves the battery life and then there is really need to tag the pictures that we take? Pros: Body robust and ergonomic machine, af fast and accurate, high iso estate, joystick

Cons: Lack of touch screen, adjustable display and low battery life

Opinion: After I switched to 70D 7DII about 6 months ago. I consider this much better machine than the 70D (at least as regards the copy I had). The raw file that churns think is better and more workable than the 70D, I can not quantify in terms of stop. The maximum possible personalization of keys and functions make it particularly versatile and powerful. The af module is very powerful especially in Ai-Servo mode with 65 cross-type points and the central dual cross f / 8, which keeps the af with tc 1.4x and 100-400II. If he had the swiveling display and touch would be super. The sensor is APS-C, and with all the limitations that this technology has compared to FF, but with tight and fair optical subjects you can take great pictures at 3200 ISO and with a little 'more than even PP to 6400 ISO.

Pros: Af amazing, gust, high ISO seal, dual slot, joystick, tropicalization

Cons: they have to find one: lack wi-fi (could definitely put it)

Opinion: I went from a 60D to 7DMk2 as a matter of management of AF points and its gust speed. I found myself with a body really solid car and well waterproofed. The estate of the iso for me is good until 3200, pleasant until 6400 and still usable up to 16000. say exploitable because the grain is not at all annoying, even in black and white is really nice and you do not want to take it off, but to leave it for creative effects. On this point, I really like to focus because of all the other features you already said everything and more. To me it is very reminiscent of the film grain and noise are not the famous gangs that plague other APSC. This is very important and the idea than we have been working on this sensor, which certainly has its say, even compared to the FF who kept best at high sensitivity levels. The machine is obviously exceptional for sports and bird life, but I find it valid for my favorite genres such asthe street and the views. From the best with standard optical L, no doubt. Its speed allows for HDR Room razor sharp, that reduce not just the work of this kind. Shadows are recoverable in a way you do not expect (I personally tried to limit situations of the burn to black to test it). Cons: ISO 4000 already pasty

Opinion: Body taken to replace the first 7d and 5d when they serve to complement the mm, good weather sealing, took full rain for a whole day without stopping (also 7d old did not give me problems), difficulty in cleansing the body when shooting in presence of dust. The battery life than the old model leaves a little 'displaced, but disabling the stabilizer will arrive to 1600 shots with a 10% residual battery. Jpg usable up to ISO 3200, in some situations even up to 4000 (compared to 2000 7d old, speak of photos printed at least 20x30). What I wanted? Opinion: I can only advise. And now the price is more than reasonable. You can safely forget about the annoying Vertical Banding Noise of the 7D. The chart at ISO 3200 files are still very valuable and workable than meet the usual suspects of dense sensor limits. The battery life is slightly less than that of 7D. Cons: Battery life.

Opinion: I took about six months ago the 7D Mark II to tile to 6D, exclusively for wildlife photography. The AF module is excellent, very responsive and accurate and highly customizable (definitely a different planet than the form of the 70D), but it is crucial to be studied well the manual and try out the different configurations on the field, otherwise you may be disappointed by the results. RNLA machine keeps the AF up to f / 8 on the center point and the four points of the adjacent expansion, and this is a nice bonus, as it allows me to multiply 500 with 2x, getting a 1000 mm APS-C .rnLa quality of the files is very high, with fine and well manageable in post production: the difference with the 70D is estimated at half a stop at the most, but I have noticed a significant improvement in the management of ombre.rnL'unico defect is life battery (about 7-800 shots), easily fixable (uses the same batteries for several other models, for example 6D, 5D Mark III and 70D).

Pros: 10 / ftg per second, 100% viewfinder, AF very fast, dual-slot, 65 AF points and tropical conditions, dual processor, held at high ISO

Cons: menu

Opinion: I got to try it on a recent trip and I literally fell in love, the 65 points of focus are really cool, difficult to manage, at least personally, I find the menu too complex and little intuitivo.rnE 'a perfect evolution of the 7D which goes far beyond the MK II.rnLa file quality is really high, a real surprise, but must be able to handle light or leaves scampo.rn

Pros: Autofocus, weather sealed body, professional commands, held at high ISO, function BULB, interval timer, HDR, exposure

Cons: It is not full frame but for me is not a problem, the dynamic range of less than Nikon

Opinion: The 'I bought a few months ago selling my 6D. He was interested in a flurry faster autofocus and better performance to get closer to nature photography and sportiva.rnDevo say I am very satisfied with my choice and I think it is the best I've ever SLR avuto.rnTra strengths: weather sealed body that has no fear of being mistreated, professional commands (I almost always had canon and I felt immediately at ease), extremely accurate metering, held at high ISO (much better than the old 7D I've owned a few ago, you can safely push up to 3200 ISO without problems), viewfinder that provides an amazing amount of information and with a bit of familiarity you can adjust all the settings without removing the 'eye of the camera, autofocus and speed processing of the first class (I think both are lower the 1DX but at a cost significantly less), BULB function that lets you set the exposure time in the car without having to hold the shutter button, funtion HDR provides that the merger of the shots but also keeps the individual raw files in RAW fromato, dual-slot memory card, battery seal, GPS.rnLe think weaknesses are: dynamic range of less than Nikon, is no FFrnIn Anyway, I highly recommend rnrn

Pros: 100% coverage viewfinder, excellent high ISO, AF speed and accuracy at 65 points, dual slot, dual processor, robust and ergonomic, flash remote control, shutter guaranteed for 200,000 shots.

Cons: Yet I found none.

Opinion: Coming from the 550D to the first impact I realized immediately that I had in my hands "so much stuff", the camera body is fantastic, ergonomic and robust. In the first shots were good ones only those easy-Invoice, those a bit more complicated I were better with the 550D, but this did not give me concern, because the beds forum earlier I knew that I had bought a special machine, which has to be understood, always studied and set manually depending on the type of shots to do, and to do so in the best way you must read, study well the fact manuale.rnPersonalmente had already begun to study it before owning the camera, but then the theory must be added a lot of practice on campo.rnAd today are about 18 months that i own, i still can not exploit the full potential also because of the mancaza a tele L. the AF series is very sensitive, it is necessary to make good use of the CASE AF menu and always select the best one for the situation. Excellent sealing at high ISO, up to 6400 I go quiet, I tried anchand shots at ISO 16000 with little light and was amazed with the result, certainly they are not shots to be published, but can be used, I think is a great result like for a 20 MP APS-C. Files that are churning pesantini but PP is working well, if canon avresse opted for a less dense sensor of 18MP in my opinion would be would be almost a FF at high ISO. RNLA flurry of 10-12 frames per second (some say 10 people 12 but no matter) is monstrous, is a macchima designed for sport and nature, is also tropicalized, also has integrated GPS, I would not use it because I do not need , and then consumes a lot of battery, however, a second battery is a must, many have written that consumes a lot, but I think it's normal, I should mention that it has a double-Digit 6 board ... you can not expect that a supercar low fuel consumption, and anyway 6/700 photos they can do and I do not seem few. rnFantastica also in the videos, if combined with optical stm never loses focus on moving subjects, I had a chance to compare it to the 70d (also a lady machine) which occasionally in special situations loses focus.rnIl delay in activating autofocus after switch from standby mode I also noticed I, but we talk yes and no 1 / 2 seconds, and in any case then the second click on is a machine gun and not miss a beat. rnAppena aquistata I used it with the Tamron 70-300 and performance were not the best, then I managed to try it with a Canon 70-300 L series and recently I purchased the Sigma 150-600 C and AF performance and sharpness Photos are another thing. rnC'è who wrote in the forum "Lack of flash pop up", does not it is flash, and "lack dell'intervallometo" Also this feature is present in the menu. rnih conclusion this camera is not the evolution of the old 7d, is a totally new car, revolutionary, its price tag is worth it all, do not recommend it to those who are starting out, but for chi have a bit of experience and practical this is the machine body that changes your life. rn

Pros: Robustness, speed, grip, cover almost total AF point, is not FF

Cons: Perhaps the battery, but I settled with the BG-E16

Opinion: I have it now 9 mesi.rnSono increased from Nikon to Canon for this machine and I am more than soddisfatto.rnIl FF does not interest me, for me it's a plus that a car so I do not think is the nature sia.rnIn the top .... af is fast and precise even with little hand luce.rnIn gives the idea of ??being indistruttibile.rnCiò I did not expect was the excellent usability of at high iso .... grained file, very gestibile.rnLa'll keep for a very long time.

Pros: Light meter

Cons: Menu, battery life, delay in autofocus after switch from standby mode rather serious

Opinion: Well ... I am not with the rave reviews I have preceduto.Rispetto the "Old": Menu VERY MUCH WORSE and exposure MEGLIO.Per else I find almost identical ... In fact, I find the delay in the activation of ' auto focus after switch from standby mode rather serious! rnPer not to mention finally the battery life really scandalous ...

Pros: Speed ??autofocus.

Cons: Not FF. Battery life.

Opinion: I am really good with this machine. Very fast. It focuses and keeps it. Even at high ISO shots I sfruttabilissimi. The menu a bit cumbersome, but with practice it's easy. I think if this was a FF sensor would be the perfect car. Sturdy, solid, but Canon does it on purpose, it makes great body that is always missing something, and so you also buy the top model. Anyway is a reflex valid for nature photography and sports, nothing to do with the previous model. You have to know it well. Good for photo-evolved amateur and the professional who needs a second body valid. In some cases then some sensors can be an advantage.

Pros: Burst from 10f / s, FullHD video at 60 f / s, feeling of strength and solidity general, 65 point AF, dual slot for SD memory cards and CF, snap to 3.5 f / s silent, flexibility of AF, 3 settings personalized immediately available

Cons: Menu very articulate, manual over 500 p., Another additional manual AF, pentaprism very protruding flange coupling optics which does not allow a quick change lens can not see the red dot with a portable reference.

Opinion: The 7d mk II is a reflex for photographers improvised but is a camera body to which we will arrive after a course and evaluation of the actual requests to the machine. If used with knowledge of the facts is very satisfying but if you expect me to do everything she falls into a big mistake: should be set, led to the result, it addressed to what we want to achieve. You can not take it and shoot you will be disappointed and you'll think you have thrown your money. The machine has to be experienced, proven, experienced only so give the maximum of itself and gratify its owner.

Pros: Sensor resolution, excellent workability of the raw file in post, strength and solidity general, commands comfortable, full-featured

Cons: Lack of flash pop up, would need a firmware update to implement certain functions

Opinion: This reflex seems to me the best a photo amateur evolved may ask Canon; It allows you to do a little 'all genres: landscapes thanks to the resolution and the workability of the files, thanks to the birds' autofocus evolved and the size of the sensor allow the crop, photo studio, macro, stil life. With the latest update of Lightroom you can not open the shadows without too much noise. Today in 2015 would require more than the whole of a firmware update to implement some secondary functions (such as interval timer, checking car ficus on live view, dual iso etc.) that are now required in a camera of this level. Excellent performance at high ISO and the speed and precision of 'autofocus.

Pros: Af: high percentage of photos fast moving fire. 10 frames / second, files with possibility 'to open the shadows schiarendole up to 3 stops, speed and wide adaptability af in photographs of azione.Mirino 100%, silent shutter to 4 frames / second.

Cons: Shutter lag for improvement, af inaccurate when well set on the characteristics of the movement of the individual and not when the calibration end of AF. Battery less durable 7d old.

Opinion: It 'a good and effective update of 7d old. Af nervous and very reactive, able to focus when focus very well with all 65 sensors used together. In the photograph of birds in flight using the 5 houses, getting files very etched in a significantly greater percentage of 7d old, (with which I was comfortable only with 5 sensors af center). It is advisable to calibrate the end of 'af for all super telephoto with and without extender. Files for use with fine up to 1600 ISO. Robust body and ergonomic controls similar to those of 5dIII and 7d old.

Opinion: It has everything you want to do x birdlife .... before I had the 7D old but I gave it away by despair ... rnAnche performs well in low light, a large number of pixels x able to crop the image as you like .. .rnCon new objectives II series is fantastic and since I come from the birds are very confident I can duplicate it with fantastic results. ..... Pros: Autofocus module, burst, reactivity, multiplication factor in the room, video with autofocus, dual slot for memory cards.

Cons: The inherent limitations of aps-c size, battery life.

Opinion: The 7d mark II is a camera designed for sports or nature photography. The autofocus module is excellent, responsive and highly customizable for different shooting conditions, but it is essential be studied well the manual dedicated to exploit their full potential. The body keeps the autofocus until f8 at the midpoint foam (cross) and this is a good opportunity for more. Reduced shutter lag and gusts up to 10 shots per second give the 7d mark II unmistakably sporty character, as well as very useful (especially for those without super tele in kit) is the crop in the room due to the format aps-c. Just sensor aps-c is the component that most characterizes this camera, from benefit (by multiplying the focal length of the lens) to the limit if you decide to shoot in low light and with very high sensitivity ISO. However compared to the sensor that equipped the 7d old, the new aps-c returns a file with better IQ, a graina little less (at least 2/3 stop less noise) and much more workable in the post. Who will buy this camera for the uses for which it was designed, making sure to use it with good light, it will surely be satisfied.

Pros: Massive body, fast, af enabled to F 8, excellent exposure, file better than the previous model

Cons: E 'an APS-C, for the same field of view can not compete with a minimally FF of the penultimate and last generation, sucks a little too much battery

Opinion: Here I am, after a month from 'purchase I can pull the first sum: I took the 7D2 to tile to my faithful companion 5D3, exclusively for photography naturalistaca.rnCorpo twin of 5D3, batteries compatible and interchangeable, has pretty much the same menu of sister except small variazioni.rnGià from the first test out his character ultrasportivo, fast, lightning-fast AF, much more precise metering of the 5D3 (probably due to the smaller size of the areas analyzed and digic 6) .rnProprio the 'AF has brought havoc in the forums around the world: some stock needed calibration room service to return precise. Another problem is the 'extreme nervousness in AI-Servo, tends to focuse continuously even if the subject is stationary, the fault of the micro movements of' optical (also properties we breathe and therefore we are not). I solved using the CASE 3 subjects for stationary or slow and CASE 5 with ITR active for fast, so I have about 90% of shots in focus (of course for those who only see the shotsol the percentages drop physiologically) .rnAF active until 8 F: in this way I can get to 1600 mm with the potential 500 F 4 + 2X, quality full frame is very good, better than the crop of 5D3.rnDiscorso noise: much improved grain than the previous model, much finer and easier to remove without planing mercilessly details, usable up to ISO 4000 if c 'is light and we need fast times (but I'm fine palate, maybe you can settle and push even more). At high iso (say from 2000 onwards), begins to take blows from 5D3 and also seems to me right, we say that the difference between the 2 quantifies in 1.5-2 stop, depending on the conditions luce.rnQualità file : good, surprised me positively, provided you shoot wisely and choose the right light sensor is not a forgiving sufficiency. Compared to the 5D3 file is less plastic, less three-dimensional, has a very steep curve of chiaroscuro, seems to lack a little in the intermediate tones, but hasa good seal on the shadows. Even the colors are in favor of 5D3, much richer sfumature.rnConcludendo, I am very satisfied, shot at the first light of 'sunrise with the 5D3 and after with 7d2, same batteries, charger itself, the menu that I know by heart, I the 'needed to address every type of shot. Find great file quality can turn his attentions on FF, those looking for speed, multiplication factor and the latest technology at a price human can easily jump on the 7D2, you'll learn how to put it right in the shooting conditions and did not disappoint.

Pros: fixed screen, af the best ever mounted on an SLR canon as lab tests, not surprisingly directly derived from military technology, lightning (sorry but I feel in mind other adjective) grumpy, bad and accurately without hesitation, perhaps as early responsive too, to be used with firmness and decision knowing what you have in your hands, go and put the whip, it seems with telepathy, in fact focheggia always where the brain and the mind of the photographer thought to aim the sensor signal noise af.Miglior Home canon, in fact in my opinion we will see soon also sulla'ammiraglia home, (perhaps with the EOS 1DX mark II), robust machine body, 12 frames per second, the filter flicker truly effective, dual sensor, which is always better than one, full hd video quality, so much so that I neither do the 4K if then I did not see the video x, possibility shooting multiple exposures in the guest rooms, function very creative without exaggeration as well as HDR, am rather do it in post production from a photo normale.Propio as I expected an EOS 1 DX, anzi in some ways even more and better data from independent laboratory, for 2000 euro, in fact even the 5D MK III all at once seemed obsolete, indeed it is good to see, what you want to + from vita.Otturatore guaranteed x 200 thousand shots, x always stay indoors only 1DX from 6000 euro is capable of doing meglio.Possibilità to work in full automatic ISO up to 6400 noise absent, like being at ISO 100 on any other reflex.mirino clear and bright with 100 % coverage, ie what you see inside, you see it even in foto.Gamma dynamic foto.Foto night which are then my passion as I expected them, with accurate colors and natural, well-defined and full of details even the small + even the areas of conflict are always well used, here I was able to fully appreciate the flicker function, the camera is only 12 frames per second, very recommended for photos statiche. In this month I photographed a bit of everything, from the faces relatives (Ecche can you do have time to waste), airliners taking off, birds, cats in the race, rally, paeessays, architecture, never once the machine failed to focuse on the first try and accurately, covering shots to pc and stampati.Non listen to anyone who speaks ill of this camera, or tells you and it does not have this, no the other, Understand this, does not even deserve a response, or is not able or is he really insane (in the medical sense of the term), now when I look at some reviews on the internet I veins to laugh, or think qualquno been paid by nikon , sony, leica proposito.Possibilità for mounting optics and EF EF-S, APS-C.Quello that made me make a decisive choice was rehearsals where equated markII 7D, 5D MarkIII, 1DX, try autofocus, noise, quality of files, sensor, gust, the 7D mark 2 has been able to win 5 of 8 trials.

Cons: many hours reading the manual for those who do not come from a professional body, well over 500 pages, only the section autofocus are more than 50.macchinosa settings without some pratica.Pretende accuracy by the operator, do not think xchè you have 12 ftgs to succeed the first time to exploit it fully, you have to give us a little eye, as well as the AF, battery autonomy, advice default buy 2.Pesantezza body macchina.Solo 20 million pixels, but all well we know that the final resolution does not affect the quality of the photo, as well as iso on paper there are cameras capable of over 100000iso, but in fact inutilizzabili.Solo 12 frames per second, usually speech by bars, comparing to 15 with the EOS 1 DX friend, does not change nulla.Come have 12 cars or 15, you change your life? GPS x mè a function useless.

Opinion: The'm using for about a month, do not tell you the first time I pulled it out of the box, I said, "that's it? I made one of my usual crap" .The first releases, what a disappointment, not force x I even read a page of the instruction manual, also x lack of time then, I read three or four times the area autofocus, and I try riprovo.bhè today if I were to offer in exchange aggrratttisssss any other camera body in exchange for the 7D markII answer without doubt dry and strong with a nice NO, without even thanks, in this case the deal would make the offerente.Con the old 7D of the friend that I used with great satisfaction some time in game drive in the continuous shooting function, has not nothing in common except the name 7D.

Cons: Battery life than the 7D, price.

Opinion: I'm not a magician of photography, but I can say that it is a completely new reflex than the 7D, 8D had to call it, I find that more and comparing it with the 7d works much better at high ISO and AF is really fast, the 65 focus points focus are fantastic, continuous shooting at 10 fps is a bomb, continuous shooting muted is very useful in wildlife photography, I find it fantastic.

Pros: Robust, AF selective definitely improved, many customizations, file well balanced, useful levels in the frame.

Cons: At the moment I would say no, even to try to bottom.

Opinion: For me, comparable only with the 1D MKIII, obviously with his body grip; very valuable for photos dynamics, also excellent for portrait, able to give crisp images and full of detail. Since the first impression on the field, it falls well in hand: Canon adjustments typically, however you must have the foresight to read well and carefully the instruction booklet and avoid being misled by the apparent similarity with the 7D! Pros: Heir to the 7d, AF, AF mode selector, ergonomics, solid feel.

Cons: Gps, "only" 20mp, flash, auto focus servo for videos not available to 50fps FHD

Opinion: About a year ago we began to feel something sensible about the upcoming release of the 7D2. I was just hoping not to depart too much from the initial project 7D. As far as I'm concerned it did. Shape and weight almost identical. But speaking of the technical characteristics and its true there are things that I agree with and things that do not condivido.rnCondivido definitely the 'AF evolved. It is very complex, on a par with higher camera bodies. Still has so many settings that you can set to photograph anything. The technology itr is really working. I find it very useful lever customizable to handle the points and areas AF.rnIl sensor, in my opinion, is good. C 'is to say that not one who gets the mental saws with crop at 400% or you put them to photograph a sheet on a wall to do the calculations. Surely with the 7D to over 800iso there could almost never go. With the 7D2 leaving the iso files in Auto returns usable even in 12800. According to me its best between 400 and 6400 iso.rnCredo strongly that both una nice car but from the best with bright optics, performance and alas costose.rnAvrei pleasing 24 mp even giving up one stop iso.rnInteressante department video with af really working. Too bad that is not available in 50 / 60fps 1080p mode aiservo (I did not understand why ... I tried with is2 70-200, 16-35 IS, 40STM, 24-70 II) .rnGps and flash for me inutili.rnConclusioni : rnih around'm reading a lot of crap, for example comparisons between 7D2 and 7D2 and 5D3 ... ..... rnQuesta 6D is a car for those coming to 7D and wants to continue on the same line. Punto.rnLa not recommend it to those who are new to armi.rnLa recommend it to those who are second ... third weapons etc.
