Pros: Colors, RAW workability, file quality, tropicalization, solidity, center point AF, light viewfinder, the files it churns out

Cons: ISO over 1600, file shadow recovery, magenta sometimes difficult to manage, AF points other than the central one

Opinion: Purchased back in 2012 it was my first full frame SLR and the camera that introduced me to photography. It has accompanied me everywhere in my travels, from the deserts of Australia to the frozen forests of Finland, it is a tank, with a feeling of incredible robustness and solidity. It makes excellent photographs, in these ten years of use I have been able to fully know its strengths and weaknesses and how to best adapt the post production in order to optimize the files it produces. At low iso and with the tripod gives shots of incredible quality, it is in any case very versatile also for street and travel photography, up to iso 1600. From the best of itself on bright days, the recovery on the shadows is quite disappointing, so you have to take it into account down during shooting and maybe overexpose slightly and then reduce the exposure in post. In situations where dominant magenta emerges, these are very difficult to manage, even with good post production. As for the AF, I have always used only the center point focusing and recomposing, the speed and accuracy is very good while, the same cannot be said for the other focus points that are not so reliable. You have to break a spear in favor of the brightness of the excellent viewfinder, look through it and hear the sound of the shutter is pure poetry. For the rest, it is a camera body to which I remain very fond and despite being dated, in my opinion it can give excellent results to those who have the patience to fully know its potential and the commitment to understand in depth its valid strengths. I recently upgraded to another model of the same house, but it must be said that I have a great memory of the 5D Mk II and if I think of all the adventures and magical moments we shared together, I can only feel a bit of nostalgia.

Pros: Solidity, reliability, colors and paste of the files.

Cons: Nothing

Opinion: First FF I bought. Still used today with extreme satisfaction. I read that it is very suitable for amateur photographers but, obviously, a professional needs more. Maybe it will surprise you but I work there and feed the family even today. What should a professional want? A device that takes pictures for him? In this case, the MMs so dear to everyone are fine. Don't get me wrong, technology takes its course and I believe that very soon even MM will give way to another system, it is inevitable. But when I frame what I want to shoot with this old lady, I have to give depth to my knowledge of photography and she gives me rows with a lively and enveloping paste, nothing that can be achieved with today's hyper admirable robots. Of course, if you do not know how to expose and do not know the basic rules of photography, the 5d mk2 does not forgive you and your photos will not satisfy you. Last note: having an eye on spending is another characteristic of the professional and not only of the amateur photographer. Today more than ever, after the blow taken with COVID the old adage little spending so much yield is more valid than ever. And, in my humble opinion, this machine has a lot to do with it.

Pros: Wonderful colors, solidity, tropicalization, ergonomics, perfect display

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: I bought my fourth 5d Mark II from a collector with less than 300 shots. Beautiful glossy, new, could be in the window of a photo shop and would always make its figure, near the new cameras. Wonderful colors and ready-made photos in Jpg and well workable in Raw. Canon in 2008 created this masterpiece, which today you can buy with little money and with the same batteries as the Mark III Mark IV and R6 which is only more powerful. If you find it in combination with a 24-105 L you are good and you don't need anything else. Or with a 17-40 L little money so much yield. It is a tank, without being heavy. I agree with what I read in another post, there is a slight latency in the shot, which leaves you displaced. However, for me only merits and no defects.

Pros: Professional Canon

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: It is a Canon Professional, tropicalized. The Canon Eos 5D Mark II is an amazing machine. It has beautiful colors like all Canons. I have been using it for some time alongside the 1d MIII, 1DS MIII, 1D MIV and the legendary 5D MI. Accessories:1) wireless file transmitter wft-e4IIB 2) Battery Pack BG-E6. The objectives of the L series. She is a machine lady. The display or the high ISO are not problems for me. I was born with film and evenings in the darkroom. So I'm used to not seeing the photos right away. Have the grain on the prints. It gives me excellent results I am really satisfied.

Pros: Robustness, tropicalization, raw quality, discrete ISO sensitivity

Cons: Weight, single CF slot

Opinion: I used this machine a lot for work and for the pleasure of doing it. It currently has 280,000 shots and still goes that is a wonder (despite this I decided to replace it with a Fujifilm X-T1 since I am changing the system precisely because, given the high number of shots, it could leave me at any moment). Up to 3200ISO is more than usable. It was my main camera in all respects. I am very fond of it.

Pros: Build and image quality.

Cons: No WiFi

Opinion: It was my leap into the world of FF. Machine that must be known and that can give so much. On yet outdated on many aspects (WiFi, AF and adjustable screen), it gives a color rendering that is forgiven practically everything! Robust, reliable, it will never abandon you, always allowing you to take home some interesting photos. It gives its best with adequate optics, but it also defends itself well with old and non-L series lenses. At the price at which it is used it is certainly better than many entry level or can be a valid alternative to those who want to approach a semi-pro without fainting.

Pros: Sensor, robustness, cost, controls, LV, modern if we think that it is from 2008

Cons: Central only AF, shutter lag, ISO management and embarrassing flash

Opinion: It is definitely a good machine today, if we then think that it is at the price of a Chinese smartphone it makes quite an impression. It has a "beautiful" sensor, the photos it does I like, made by old Canon have a nice contrast, but it forgives little as exposure, it also discreetly holds the ISO. the AF is there, to be used sparingly in AFS and only with the central. I can focus on the photos only for my past on film and the ability to recompose without moving the MAF. In addition, even that point, you have to put it in an area with the right contrast, otherwise it goes empty. The management of the ISO car is useless, in M it puts itself at 400 and remains there, both under a solar storm and in the darkest night. It seems to me a film camera with a sensor but, I must admit, it has a good LV, maybe a little slow in AF but very reliable exposure even at 30". Last thing is a 5D, so the shutter lag is long....

Pros: Colours, ergonomics, tropicalization

Cons: nobody

Opinion: This was a body I wanted for years and finally when I bought it, it let me down a bit. Let's be clear, it's a fantastic machine, but the spark didn't start, maybe because it has a slight latency when you press the shutter button, which I honestly didn't like, but it's nonsense of course and has nothing to do with the problems, because that's what I wouldn't call it. The colors are at the top, beautiful and very deep, the rows are well workable, as well as the three-dimensionality of the same. If you are used to shooting in LV, with this machine the automatic focus is a bit cumbersome. Right now it's a little dated, but honestly as a pure landscaping machine I'd buy it back, I'd like to give you a second chance.

Pros: Professional Canon, still current, market price, reliable.

Cons: It makes videos, and it's a flaw that almost all current cameras have; One slot.

Opinion: Full-frame, tropicalized, professional, is located around 400 euros in excellent condition. It is still relevant and allows not only to have fun but also to work and also for some time to be more, because it is indestructible. As the only flaw I find is the fact that it has only one memory slot, but CF-Cards, when they are about to leave, give some signs of failure. Flanked by two MarkIII and a Mark IV for ceremonies and attached events in the restaurant, until before the lockdown, she worked with dignitas without being outclassed by the others. Mark II with the 24-105 I used it, finding myself very well. Today my partner uses it every now and then, with results that I never imagined from those who shoot automatically and in jpeg. If you're looking for multiple focus points, extreme isos, burst shots, wifi and stuff, it's best to get on top of something else, but if you're looking for the necessary single-shot focus points, but very high quality, then the Mark II is the perfect machine. It even allows you to take sports photography, as long as you shoot without a burst. As a sensibilit, he thinks up to ISO 3200. I personally use flash and rarely go beyond 400/800 ISO, so it's not a problem. For those who use flash rarely because they prefer high isos, then it is good that they horizon on something else, admitted to finding something for the same figure. Certainly the Mark III offers a little more, but used is at twice the price and if you do not need to have double slots (a CF and an SD) and iso over 3200, you do not need to spend more, considering that they are tractors that easily reach 300 thousand shots without effort, therefore still usable for many years. The cards are so hard at saving the files, but I broke them from mark II It's the first camera that introduced the video world into cameras, and it's the only fault it has. I firmly believe that cameras only need to be photographed. Around I meet people with cameras put on supports that are not stabilizers, complete with microphone equipped with dead cat, who get fatigued unnecessarily because they could use handheld cameras, designed to make videos that activate and stop by opening and closing the door, and some of them have microphone and headphone inputs and even take great photos. It's no different from the photographer using the handheld camera instead of the camera to take pictures... what's the point? If anyone wonders who created these monsters, know that it was canon with 5D Mark II

Pros: Great grip, good up to 1600 Iso, tropicalization, good display, joystick, full frame, second-hand price (paid 320€) shutter 1/8000

Cons: Iso 6400 to throw away, CF memory price, video only in automatic mode

Opinion: Great value for money. The machine allows you to get photos with beautiful colors, holds isos well up to 1600, it is a full frame, which is synonymous with greater sharpness and image quality. It has good resolution, the display is good. Too bad you can not make videos in manual mode, but for those who are interested in photographs and just highly designed.

Pros: Image quality, colors and robustness

Cons: AF in Live View very slow, low display resolution, non-posable, shadow recovery, lack of af eye, WIFI, touch screen, but above all it does not take photos on its own and you even have to think about composition and lighting of the subject before shooting, which I find unacceptable in 2020!

Opinion: He is currently 12 years old. Technologically it belongs to the Paleolithic. Yet, taking a photo under 3200 iso, well composed and illuminated, I challenge anyone to distinguish it from a 2020 camera file. Of course, the years are felt, especially on the AF side and the Live View. Then I read about many people adapting manual optics on mirror less and I understand that, the playful appearance, for the photoa walker, is of great importance. The truth is that to have superior shooting quality, robustness and the functions of a modern camera, you have to spend a lot of money. But so many. An R5 currently costs more than 4000 euros. While a 5D mk2 currently buys with 350-400 euros. One feature few talk about is the viewfinder. It's huge, bright and optical. In my opinion, a photoadamator should consider it as a compromise in order to enter the Canon system, with many quality optics and flashes, at human prices, especially in the used. Of course, you can also spend a thousand euros to have the last mirror less and take photos of the kittens, with the 18-55...

Pros: Ergonomics, pollution, tropicalization, fullframe

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: After a few months of fairly intense use I even feel to recommend it again in 2020, if you are photography lovers like me but not professionals. tropicality is a godsend at last. The weight? 24-105 L, for a full day around the neck. Just amazing. Are there few focus points? I wouldn't say, since in any situation it is enough to set it properly and it does not make a wrinkle. He's still 12 years old... In short, great machine

Pros: Robustness, ergonomics, battery life, FF sensor, value for money, reliability and resiliency, excellent resolution and file quality, ISO management

Cons: Not suitable for sport, not always reliable on moving objects

Opinion: It is my first reflex, bought at the end of August 2019. Crazy, just crazy. It allows growth, for a novice photo amateur, to say the least incredible. After months of practice they are far from its limits! The value for money is nothing short of great, digital noise is acceptable even at isos high up to 3200 (I took pictures of stray cats of Yogyakarta, at night, and the results turned out to be impeccable) and to be honest I don't even know what to write, it's just amazing. A professional camera at the cost of an entry level (I dare say). The best way to explain this camera I think is the following: it is old, evidently. In 2020 we now see technologies like eye af tracking. This, on the contrary, of electronics and software has very little. If you use it well, the photo will be beautiful. If you use it badly, the result will be bad, so much so that it is overtaken by a mobile phone. Not surprisingly, when my friends saw my first portraits, they asked me why I had spent so much on nothing. After months of study, the situation has changed a lot. In my opinion it is a great camera for a photo amateur, especially in the case of a rookie like me: the lack of many modern aids will force you to really learn how the world of photography works, without shortcuts, giving you a lot of satisfaction (knowing, by the way, that they are yours). But it can also be an excellent second machine body, reliable and of very fine quality. I consider it my "goto" for all those whose budget is around 600 euros, playing it with the 6D, although the latter did not seem as comfortable for the lack of the joystick (indispensable for the choice of the point of af!). For those worried about weight: I admit that it is certainly not a light device, but it is not even such an unmanageable beast. During a 25-day trip to Indonesia I always carried it with all the kit (4 targets, filters, batteries, flash...) and I never regretted the purchase made. On the contrary: the poor woman did not blink even finding herself working in a plastic bag in the middle of a monsoon! The dimensions are felt only after hours of continuous use (about 4), with the flash mounted, working at parties.

Pros: Robustness, ergonomics, battery life, FF sensor, value for money

Cons: AUTO-ISO function to say the least embarrassing, inability to delete photos by date

Opinion: I return to the world reflex FF after a five-year experience with various brands of ML format APSC, all my review should be read knowing that I more than 500 euros for a body machine do not want to spend them, I know well that some of my accomplished have been surpassed by more modern equipment (but too expensive). The things that I missed and found are the following: First of all, a certain way of using a camera, a level ergonomics, the fact that you can go away 2 days with a single battery and know that it will be enough, do not have to worry too much about rain/sketches/etc., a machine body built to be used in a certain way, a few customizable keys because what there has been studied to be there, they worked on it flower of designers, who am I to put mouth on which keys go where (here are a little ironic but I like to find a medium that goes well with my needs without feeling the need to change anything). FF sensor, I do almost just portrait, having a stop in less pdc than the apsc helps me. It's my taste here, there's nothing you can do about it. What didn't I like? To put it bluntly, the only real flaw (but as soon as it drops below 500 degrees I take the Mk3 that solves) is the implementation of auto-iso... I'd like to go for a coffee with the people who thought of it. Then one thing That I found only in Nikon (at the time of the D90) and that I miss to die, that is the ability to delete photos of a single date... I often go out and shoot and finish the space in the card because it was full of photos from the previous days, the fact that I can not delete them in bulk makes me nervous...

Pros: Reliable, robust, ergonomic with excellent grip, I can say that the consumption of batteries in my case has never been felt.

Cons: I didn't find any defects to report because he didn't give me any.

Opinion: Gone from Canon 40D to 5DThe leap in quality has been clear, the high iso yield has improved in the work of the files, a dated but reliable AND highly recommended FF to those who want to make a leap in quality, spending the right in the world of the used. Buy it and you will take away some nice satisfactions, my advice is as a photoamateur, my photographs are available to those who want to see if there is quality in the camera, I do not use in Photoshop or other specialized programs, I just use the program that offers the Canon the Digital Photo Professional (DPP) for small tweaks.

Pros: 21MP Full Frame camera, great detail, rich features, yummy LCD, robustness, reliability.

Cons: Nobody.

Opinion: Wonderful camera, my first FF, where I could recognize my 24 mm shots, as I wanted them. I switched to it after the 40D and had to change some optics, clearly. The machine is soft to the touch and extraordinarily ergonomic, the weight is not felt, also thanks to its grip, that the scale and feeds it well. Top functionality, unique robustness and total reliability make it an FF, now reachable with little. Buy it and you'll see some nice ones, pictures.

Pros: File quality, ISO management, colors, dynamic range and detail yield, ergonomics and robustness, battery life

Cons: for his age practically none, for the rest his pros and his cons know each other all

Opinion: Purchased recently, it marked the historic transition between the older generations and the new ones in the reflexes, for just over 500 euros I brought home a real jewel... I come from an old 5D and I have to say that between the first and the second there is a big difference... there is everything that in the old 5D dava "annoyance", raw file management between iso and wonderful colors, 21 megapixels all to be enjoyed with a really excellent dynamic range, you can shoot us quietly at 1600 iso without having to correct in post, I would like to know who really claims that the workability of the files is limited because personally the recovery of the shadows I found quite satisfying, as far as the focus the center point works very well even in low light and with ultrasonic optics knows how to be fast enough, for a professional even today can be really a great choice considering the price in the used, especially in ceremonial works and events, after ten years past I can really still recommend it to everyone !

Pros: Build Quality, Solidity, sensor/file Quality, high ISO/Noise Management

Cons: No one in relation to age and the price of the used

Opinion: I Own this machine for a year and honestly I bought it almost by accident, because I wanted to try a FF without spending a fortune and without particular foreclosures of brand/age/etc... I immediately felt very good in everything, but I actually at that time I had no real comparison parameters, because my digital experience was limited to the Crop sensors of Fuji (although excellent for many things). Now I have to admit that the more time passes and the more I am happy with the purchase: I have good familiarity with Lightroom and with its raw I can really do anything! Also every time I happen to compare the surrender with rooms of friends, it always comes out winning (we are all non-professional amateurs with similar band instruments):) Unfortunately I don't know the quality of the latest generation FF, I guess it's excellent, but at a much higher cost. For me it is absolutely recommended unless you are looking for a lightning war for sports photos or that generally require speed of Fire and use. PERFECT in the studio or in general for photos that you can take calmly, such as portraits, architectures and landscapes.

Pros: Robust, reliable, tropicalized, high ISO, video, Optical Park

Cons: In relation to age, I do not match any "cons" in fact...

Opinion: Obviously it is a camera that now has a few years on the shoulders, but always remains a professional 5d. In my opinion, it has an enviable sharpness and contrast, even at high ISO. I repeat, we must give a judgement, bearing in mind that it was born a few years ago. It does not have the flexibility that the latest cameras offer, but knowing how to photograph very great satisfactions. It is practical and "substantial" and above all keeps the "price" in time. Personally, this is my personal judgement, I strive to find the cons marked.

Pros: ISO 6400, holding value in used, easy resaleable

Cons: Indecent Autofocus in peripheral points, very few AF points and all Central, function to servo useless

Opinion: A great full frame as for the sensor but it has many, too cons in my opinion. One on all the quality of the autofocus. Autofocus points are all central. The autofocus is good quality only in the center point but if I wanted a camera that forced me to focus and then recompose... not possessions bought a reflex and it would not make sense to have a kit optics F 1.8-2-2.8... On the other hand the peripheral points (even if peripheral are not) only work in good light condition. Unfortunately unlike many, I have used the 5d MkII in the sports arena. In this area, when you can focus on the quality of the photo is great (as in panning) but there are many occasions when you can not just shoot seen the distressful autofocus and the function to the servo... not received. On the other hand the machine is instead excellent in the case of photos "family" even at high ISO or panoramas etc etc... But in that case it is enough and advances a 5d old (other machine I had and I have unfortunately resold...). Never tried to make videos.

Pros: Robustness, good Canon Optics Park, is a 5d

Cons: Live view primitive, light meter, not comparable to modern FF, not for amateurs and not for all pros, uses CF, few focus points and only the central is good,

Opinion: I found an opportunity and I took it in 2016, coming from a Canon 650d (which I still have) to get close to the PRO world. I believe that professionally, for certain sectors is still a lady machine, combined with great Canon optics such as fixed or Zoom Pro. I talk about work in the studio, where everything is under control and if you lose a shot, patience is redone. After having done ceremonies I can only say one thing: to carry a car like this, today (2019) means to get hurt. It's heavy, cumbersome, with a 24-70 or worse with a 70-200 it gets all hard. After using it for a couple of years I realized that I can do everything I need with a big car half, heavy 1/3 and expensive 1/4 as a micro 4/3. Then everything is subjective obvious. Speaking of objectivity: The autofocus is good, depends on the optics but forget a modern live view, it makes you want to pass. As I read from other comments is true that the exposure meter is not the best, you have to be careful, also because you do not do miracles then in PP with an old sensor like this. That said I do not feel to recommend it to an amateur, to me has literally passed the urge to photograph. Better a modern APS-C, just that it costs as much as a used 5d and does not have good-level dedicated Canon optics, which apart from some new STM has left a gulf between the top range products and entry-level, you have to go on compatible brands like Sigma and Tamron. Rated 6.5

Pros: Full frame, ergonomics, tropicalization, image fidelity and all that a professional reflex, albeit with 10 years on the shoulders brings with it

Cons: Slow Af (especially in Live view), ISO

Opinion: I've been taking pictures again. I spent many years using a 5d old, after this I forfeited I tried a radical change and I bought a Fuji X-T10 with relative optics (18-55 2.8 and 27 2.8). However I had to go back on my steps, the images were I did not like, the files that baked seemed to be compact camera digital and left me rather disappointed, despite being the machine functional to my needs (I'm a reporter, the newspaper for which I write comes out In paper and therefore has no special requirements about the quality of the photographic material and the machine was very comfortable to carry behind), the photos I took did not arouse in me any emotion or message. I bought then for a ridiculously priced (700 euros) A 5d Mark II with 70 thousand shots and a Canon 24 105 F4L and I came back to smile, the camera makes photographs, the colors are the real ones, in my hand I have a rocky machine body, which sticks nicely to the palm , clicking in JPG produces images ready for publication that I transfer directly to the computer or mobile phone with USB cable. For my needs the speed of autofocus is more than acceptable, idem as regards the tightness of the ISO that I can push up to 5000 simply having to apply a bit of luminance in retouching. I think I will also buy a fixed 40mm f2.8 USM for situations where I know I go without fail for the type of focal so as to break down even problems related to clutter. I hope that the old age of the body will not be felt waiting to move to a newer 6d or 5d Mark III when I have the opportunity economic.

Pros: robustness, Ergonomics and, What is important, rendering of the Image. Can be used up to ISO 1600. With stabilized optics I do not go over ISO 640 and the noise is just minimum keeping in this way (640iso) a better ability to recover shadows. Q/P Ratio.

Cons: Boh?! The weight? If it is sturdy weighs. AF inusabile? Let's not say Nonsense. I really can't think of anything. It does not have the "tiltable" screen from ISO 6400 is noisy... Live view can be improved... depends on what you are looking for guys. The 5dii is a lady of a certain age and I like (also) for it. so, the shutter noise, if it were quieter, would help me in the museums... that One.

Opinion: In general, I have a certain inclination not to chase the technology on the "latest releases", a little (perhaps) for the fascination of things lived, but especially because I think that much (not all but much) of technological innovations applied to the latest models do not Modify the substance of the models of 2/3 generations Before. Arriving at the point, I bought used in excellent condition (25,000 shots About) last year the 5d Mark2 (coming from an excellent 40d that I have yet) and I am very satisfied and I would recommend to those who want to start in the FF world without spending more than 1000 euros. Surely the same talk could also apply to the 6d but I have the 5dii and I review that. In his time I chose 5 instead of 6 for his more robust body that moved me a feeling of object destined to last over time (sgrat, sgrat). Excellent colours, sharpness, Ergonomics. The images it returns fully satisfy Me. I can do a little ' crop thing with the 40d I did not dare. Fully satisfied, I'm Pensado to buy another... I don't understand the criticisms of the AF Inaccurate. Mine is not mistaken for a blow (remaining in the field of ordinary mortals) and when it is wrong it is always my fault... Considering the current Quality/price ratio (used) I give 10 laude.

Pros: Image quality, still made very good up to 1600-3200 ISO, construction and image quality in shooting in Full HD

Cons: The cons that has a machine with 10 years on his shoulders compared to today's SLR in the same category.

Opinion: A reflex that would still be able to "bring home the Loaf" to a professional who knows what he does. In response to the absurd review of "ferorake" I have only one thing to say: a professional does not "hack", but knows which buttons to press, when you push them and if you push them. Sometimes I use the 5dii as a third body during ceremonies, flanked by 1dx II and Nikon D700 (the sister Giallonera of the 5dii): Well, coupled with optics of a certain type (24-70/2.8, 70-200/2.8, 135/2, 85/1.4, and the like) is still able to make forget its Long 10 years "technological" and give images of excellent quality. Of course, you should always take into account the limits that the reflex has if pushed over the 1600-3200 ISO, especially in dark environments, but nothing tragic, just know how to behave to try to take home the shot. Ergo, beware of reviews written by totally incompetent people.

Pros: -----

Cons: Fanatics machine

Opinion: I wonder in 2018 how you can "recommend" a similar machine. AF slow (inoperable in live view, back in eyepiece focuses and then back to LW), dynamic range almost nothing, a war find the correct exposure all the time hacking with + \\-(inaccurate light meter). At this point to learn how to photograph you might as well spend €250 and take a 5d Mark 1, so as to fully enter the optics "reflex", and get your bones. Unthinkable to think that at the same price are the Nikon d610 used, which is enormously better in everything. In addition let's put the only CF cards that objectively does not use anyone (with the Mark 3 have understood to put the SD). Reading the reviews here on Juza makes it seem even the most pan of the optics a Zeiss, and even the oldest of the machines, as if it was useless to buy a reflex that is not 15 years behind. To whom do I recommend? To some masochist who wants to get hurt, because objectively I do not understand how we can recommend a similar machine in 2018, whereas they are still sold to over €600 if in good condition. EDIT: Responding to the review above, in essence the machine is not worth even remotely €600, but as a professional would manage to click discreetly, it automatically becomes a recommended purchase. A true PRO makes you shots as you should also with a mobile phone 10 years ago, and find online some nice videos on this topic. Write a review of a car because according to you "you can take us home the Loaf" (with the skills of an expert matrimonialist), I find it misleading and unnecessary for the purpose of an experiential disclosure. 99% of those who would buy it are not PRO, and read such reverie, can not do anything but delude.

Pros: Image quality and yield. Build quality. All the controls are in the right place. Current Cost

Cons: Nobody: It has been out of production for years and it makes no sense to compare it with younger sisters who cost triple

Opinion: I bought it for several months from a user of Juza. Nothing to say. For what I paid fantastic machine can give great satisfaction. I do not absolutely regret the purchase and have not bought an entry level for the same amount. The auto focus is not the best, but knowing for what I would have used it was absolutely not a problem, under no circumstances: I am not a fan of sports photography to be understood. Exciting to see the pictures on the PC screen every time. Construction Solid: It has accompanied me in the backpack a little ' everywhere without ever making a story: thunderstorms, bike rides and more or less outside the door. Up to 3200 ISO I find the photos still great, besides it just takes home. The screen resolution is what it is. The right sensor makes it still a great travel companion. I recommend to all those who can not afford to spend a fortune and look for a camera designed for professionals, that does not seem almost a toy. If you find one in good condition take it home and you will not regret it.

Pros: constructive quality, solidity, high ISO resistance, good dynamic range, tropicalized

Cons: few AF points, slow autofocus with some lenses like 85 1.2, noisy shooting, non-tiltable display, shadow recovery

Opinion: I've been using this camera for about 6 months now, I've taken several photos and different types with different lighting. Obviously passing from a canon 550d the jump was huge for me and I am fully satisfied. I have not yet had the opportunity to try the long exposure to the Milky Way but I am confident that I will get very very good results.rnThe tightness at high ISO, for a camera body of 2008 substantially, is in my opinion excellent. Obviously the new camera bodies are much better but I'm not complaining at all, indeed! RnNon I'm more afraid to shoot at 1600 up to 3200, over begins to become annoying noise, but I happened to still make beautiful photos.rnWater quality from professional camera, it feels beautiful solid in hand, not really light but I like to feel good in the room. The use combined with different objectives and the only thing I have to say does not satisfy me fully is the scarcity of AF points present and especially limited in the central part of the viewfinder, forcing sometimes to crop or reassemble.rnRicompose that in some cases is not really comfortable, example with very bright lenses (from 1.8 down) because the focus changes even slightly resulting in errors focusing on the subject.rn Another note perhaps sore is the recovery of shadows: yes is in a hurry to get to the limit manageable in this case, so you have to think already during shooting to overexpose if possible to not have problems then areas too dark.rnI menu in my opinion is very intuitive, with little practice is done in a hurry to master the controls and the keys are generally in the right places.rnPerhaps the reactivity of some keys is not the best, especially the "joystick" that sometimes does not seem to respond immediately .... but perhaps only a small negligible defect of my model. I definitely consider it an excellent camera to photograph and I am absolutely satisfied with the transition from the old 550d. recommended!

Pros: Solid body, ergonomics, image quality

Cons: Slow working, slow, the weight of the years begins to be felt ...

Opinion: These days I greeted my iseparable company of travels and adventures since "far" 2012 ... although, in the last period, was often left at home preferring the latest 7d2, every time I used it I returned files worthy of note and with fabulous colors. Of course, the weight of the years is felt and certainly does not take the pace of recent releases regarding holding ISO and other amenities. And it's not even the limited dynamic range that has weighed on the choice to change, to tell the truth I've never considered it a limit ... but you know until you try nothing more performing is good what you have, but rather the operational slowness linked to AF. I often had to give up the FF for obvious limits in the pursuit in ai-servo and in the burst when I went to photograph birdlife or animals in general. Actually it is not his fault, it was not born for this purpose. It is I who moved my interest more towards the nautical picture compared to the classic landscape and for this Ihe was close to me. I changed it looking for a full frame SLR that could guarantee a superior performance even in this field without having to necessarily run with two camera bodies thus increasing weight and size. For the rest nothing to say. Great beautiful car, solid and indestructible. If you are looking for a used Full Frame at an inviting price, absolutely take it into consideration.

Pros: Ergonomics, construction, file quality, FF

Cons: Shadow Recovery, auto iso in M ??limited to 400

Opinion: Beautiful machine, gives beautiful files, unfortunately not very malleable when it comes to the recovery of shadows, solvable by slightly overexposing and recovering the lights instead of shadows. The ISO seal is good, but with the increase of the latter it worsens the recovery shadows.rnInizia not to withstand the comparison with more recent SLR as regards the dynamic range, tonal passages.rnI against end with a limiting car iso to 400 in Manual, I consider it essential for the photos of ceremony since I do not like two TV AV in which the car iso.rnCurrently I leave the 6D at home and I always carry the 5D2, more for ergonomics than for quality d 'image.rn Still great, I give a commercial value of 600/650 euros for bodies held well.

Pros: Quality of files, mpx "right" for full framernScreenshot, live view, video playback, price of used, microregulation, massive and ergonomic, tropicalized, simple and direct menu

Cons: Vacuum cleaner, versatile in a very limited way, awkward shadow recovery, not a real upgrade compared to 5D1

Opinion: I came from 5D mk1 who has accompanied me in 2 phases of my life for about 5 years, always loved and appreciated for its rough and crude charm and the limitations given since its entry into the market. After the 5D broke, I had to choose to take something that was hard to work for, and make me feel like "home"; given the limited time in my possession I gave an opportunity to the 5D2 that I never considered a machine essential for work.rnIt has taken home the 5D2 hesitantly, it is definitely an upgrade to the 5D, but not extreme.rnUniche valid features are the live view, the ability to make videos, microregulation, the silent shot and the chance to shoot in tethering. The menu is modern but basic and easy as almost 5D, making me feel less frustrated than expected. rnQuantity of the megapixel right and not excessive, it manages to pull detail worthwhile for many uses and great prints. The files are sober, without artifacts and familiar to the 5D, no artefacts or real problems. rnThreadly weak from editing on the shadows, whose recovery exceeds grain and disturbance with artifacts. Taking on with controlled light instead expresses a very different, phenomenal and high performance character, but only because it excludes high-end professional and medium-sized machines handle mixed light or difficult ambient light. By viewing the screen I could notice a annoying red cyan, big iso similar to 5D although I honestly saw the 5D already excel at iso 800 the 5D2 (probably due to the lower density of the sensor). Obviously it is not a machine designed to be versatile, it is only used for portrait, architecture and advertising photos where it is always using studio flash to pull out the claws. It is a worthy heir to the 5D but not too far from it, but for the price which costs at the moment is definitely worth spending.

Pros: Image quality, iso hold (for what I need and respect where I came from), ergonomics, menu intuition, reliability, construction ... and I'll stay here

Cons: but I do not need it and if you buy it you know what to do, AF system, but still for me is not a problem. Opening shadows

Opinion: Fantastic little car. I come from 600d years and this was a phenomenal leap forward. Taken used, version of 2011 to 600 € here on the forum. Machine sealed perfectly and with few clicks. It was love as soon as I supported the eye on the viewfinder. It has crazy ergonomics; I have small hands and I always thought that I would not have felt so much difference and that, indeed, for me it would be a problem and instead it is all the other way around. Hold the machine and this falls perfectly. All the commands are where they are to be and after two days I was back not having to watch the commands (as I did with the 600d). The image quality is crazy, as well as the videos that can turn around. Now I understand when we weave FF praise. Compared to the 600d I can safely shoot at 3200iso and with some accuration even at 6400 you take home great shots. I noticed that it is best to close the lights to open the shadows, especially when the subject is very black; with the 600d I did not put too much on prso much the recovery was not limited enough. Weight is the weight, but you get used to it right away, and indeed, more weight definitely helps to keep pace and balance; for now I do not feel the need for a BG.rn Refining is what it is, but I do not need it, so no problem. The AF system also has 10 years, identical to what I had before, but I found it much more reliable especially on the sides. The points will be few, but I have always shot with the center then re-assembled, so now the chance to have decent sides is still a step forward. By going out of warranty I would like to mount magiclanter, they all speak very well, especially video side where I delight every now and then. What to say, for me, is the "defined" machine that will remain in the bag until it is completely gone!

Pros: Construction, solidity, ergonomics

Cons: Sensitivity Iso, AF

Opinion: The machine I call "evergreen". It has its defects but it is a reflex that will remain a trusted travel companion. My world has seen hot, humid, coldest corners ... never lost a shot. I come from 1100D and 50D. It was the first full frame I still keep close. It is a reflex that must be understood, not ultra modern with a thousand functions. However, the files that are returned are always very good and you do not have to work a lot in PP to get the reprocessed and finished shots.

Pros: Construction, solidity, completeness of functions, aesthetics

Cons: in my opinion no one if you don't pretend to compare it with the even range models just released

Opinion: I looked for it and took it almost out of necessity, to solve with the microregulation af the back focusing that some of my goals presented with the 5D old. With the switch to mk II I discovered many things: compared to the 5d old, the BF was almost absent on the 50 f1.8, less marked on the 24 f2.8, and instead much more pronounced with the 85 f1.8; in all cases, adjusting in +/- 20 steps is largely sufficient to solve any back or front focusing problem you may run into; the sensor of the 5D mkII, in any case, enhances the yield of the 85 f1.8 and 50 f1.8, as if its higher density allowed lens resolution to express itself better. I wasn't interested in live view, but I found it very useful in the fine MAF in macros instead. The menu is better organized and much more complete than that of the old 5D. I don't do sports photography, in-flight bird photography or airplane photos, so I don't feel the limits of the AF, which I find appropriate for my needs. I recommend buying it to all those who, interested in the genre (reflex FF not recent but in step with all the most modern functions), find one in good condition and with a few shots on the 7-800 euros or, lucky them, less. EDIT 10/11/2017: the shadow opening worsens (= more noise) as the ISOs set decrease; if you expect the shot to require a push opening of the shadows (e.g. very contrasted scene), it is better to avoid the lower ISOs, and set from 400 ISOs up. Pros: Color files

Cons: af

Opinion: We are the usual ... there are those who criticize this machine for so many things, especially who has Nikon, but most do not realize that every reflex has its characteristic, I have many reflexes of various brands and twice Bought the 5D MarkII, never disappointed me. I had the Nikon D800 which is formidable as a machine when it works .. !!! Once the shutter has locked, not to mention that the handle rubber clings to the fingers and in some places it stems from the car body, and as far as I tell many of these Nikon have that defect, for charity is a great deal But the reliability found with the 5D Mark II is dreaming. I'm not a Canon partisan because I often switch from Nikon to Canon this brand will have many defects but I have never had problems and the photos always come home ..... sorry if it's a little ....... Then surely Now the 5D MarkII is far outdated but still says its ........ good shots at all ....

Pros: Robust, very good colors

Cons: Ergonomics, Af, sensor

Opinion: Buy used with 24/105 L series: let's say immediately that despite a month and a half of everyday use, the feeling has NOT taken. I did some photos of which I'm satisfied, but most have been a disappointment. Let's leave the ergonomics that can be a subjective issue, as I come (and stay) in the Nikon world: let's say that having to use two hands to press a button and turning a wheel is not the maximum, besides this one Detect the ignition button in a somewhat crazy position and the back ring that systematically stops the meter if you are not careful. Focusing, though it looks very responsive, is almost always inconsistent and worsens decisively if you Use side sensors. Spot exposure is measured ONLY on the center sensor. With strong differences in brightness, the high lights are usually burned (as with all Canon ...) and, if exposed for them and trying to open the shadows, it is out of the way to not end even at sensitivity.levatissime. The colors seemed good, as well as the management of the WB. The 24/105 L IS IS NOT a successful goal: it kicks the details and has a non-existent stabilizer, good colors and the atmosphere of the photos, but 70 mm up is a real injury (if the L series is All so ...). The Nikkor 24/120 (which is very soft to the longest focal points, in comparison it's a jewel and at least the stabilizer works ...). Tested with Canon Speedlite, I find it can only be used with Total Program or Auto to take advantage of Flash automations: gigantic cats ... (and say they described Canon's flash system as miraculous ...). I'm sorry I did not have a feeling because they all talk pretty good about age. In fact the D700's own coetanea (which I owned) from the track on everything. It's a pity ... but from my point of view it reaffirms, every time I try, my rather negative view on Canon. Not bad,% 3Bho already returned and took a D4 .... (short review ...). ;)

Pros: Image quality of raw images. Constructive quality, ergonomics, high ISO noise, viewfinder and LCD screen among the best. Made to last.

Cons: Only one slot for the memory card but not dramatic what the compact flash are the pro memories par excellence.

Opinion: Until now, a great car that does not slip away from the latest reflexes. Battle horse currently for ceremony, portrait, landscape, publicity, and much more. Reliable and robust. The central AF is reliable and fast, sidebars seem less sensitive but standard. Surely it is at the 5D MKIII level for picture file quality. Only it is not for the burst of about 4 frames per second. But on the other hand it is a reflex for everything except for sports where the scarcity is noticed. Whoever likes it, however, enjoys it. For the rest it is an excellent machine like the mark III that I find absolutely no difference except from 3200 ISO up compared to the next worthy queen. Excellent shadow recovery capability, even in heavily under-exposed areas. He often plays theater and concerts and the remarkably silent shooting has never disturbed or distracted anyone who is performing, watching. In hand is fine, all buttons are in place, practical and intuitive in the rich menu.

Pros: Ergonomics similar to 5d, 7d and later, command response especially after standby, solid construction, good sensor, good medium-high iso, blurry resistance that can return the FF over the Aps-c from which I come. Compared to 7d, I did not notice a higher noise in the shot.

Cons: Few AF points, less AF responsiveness than 7d I come from.

Opinion: Finally I managed to pass from the cap-c to the ff with this panzer, found to be used in good condition, which replaced the still trusted 7d I possessed. Mainly I was looking for that something more in terms of resolution that can give a FF, the correspondence of the diaphragms with the blurred effect and the elimination of the possible micromosus due to the dense sensor, so with the upgraded I have to say that I found this That I was looking for. Compared to 7d I possessed, of course I know a lower AF reactivity, but it is not as critical as I read in several reviews. Plus I've gained better resistance to high iso (only one stop less than 6d that I've been able to test) and a not-so-strong feel-good. Like other reflexes if used without too much attention, it is possible to get dust on the sensor and also under the diplay and the monitor. Overall happy with the step forward waiting for something (5d mk III) of a bit more performing inAF terms (but I already knew that). Highly recommended.

Pros: Shooting Detail, robustness, current price flea

Cons: noisy Shooting

Opinion: Bought recently used, it is my first full frame body. The first feeling is to have in my hands a real tank, robust and with a good grip that allows me having big hands do not feel the lack of a battery grip, accessory I've always had with the former bodies. Their files are full-bodied and detailed, really it gives me the feeling of having done a good leap. Single small defect (negligible) is shooting noisy un'pò. Overall I am happy and advice.

Pros: rugged camera body, beautiful colors and shades, menu not very rich yet intuitive, indestructible machine

Cons: A bit 'noisy shooting, has only one slot for the memory (but the car is of 2008) only 3 shots per second (but do not think is a defect)

Opinion: Full Frame SLR Canon has for years been the reference point for many professionals, a well crafted indestructible machine, essential, produces shots that are still respectable compared with the most recent machines. I personally never had any problems and I never found defects in constructive nature or due to use if you really want to try the nit has one very noisy due to the shutter release and has only one memory slot (although it must be considered which is a 2008 machine). I compared to high iso file with those of the 6D, I think the 6D cleaner files genres with less noise but more kneaded the 5D Mark II is more noisy but it is more detailed and engraved ... after years compares well . Has few points of focus but it is always precise and even in low light is always able to manage the AF optimally perhaps not suitable for sporting activities or situations requiring faster AF but is not; a machine for this type of photography.

Pros: Quality files, alienation effects, quality / price ratio in 2016, ergonomics.

Cons: Noise, slow AF, operational slowness (burst)

Opinion: It 'an old camera, not reactive (I have a 60D which is a little younger, but eats the head ...), with slow and unfit autofocus pictures of azione.rnDetto this, everything else is undoubtedly one camera with an outstanding performance, especially with optical height (Sigma type Art series) .rnSono came to FF after years of ODA, but having to make services where I needed quality, I had to put away money and get one, found with only 12000 documented shots, and discreet accessories. With optical gauge of the Sigma 50mm f / 1.4 Art, Sigma 20mm f / 1.4 Art pulls out all the color and tonal rendition of the sensor, which although not new, is defended well. My lens was to have the yield of three-dimensional plans again as analog, and I have reached, which is actually a defect, but in the creative sphere is a point più.E 'heavy, noisy and slow but you can not have tutto.E 'was the first in history in various fields .rnChi want a full frame toan affordable price is the solution, because the 6D is recent, it is full frame, but does not come to 1/8000 of a second, is not professional with All the amenities that follow. rn

Pros: Sensor, construction, jpeg quality

Cons: embarrassing autofocus, missing video output pro hdmi

Opinion: I worked with 5DII both for photography and for videography. In the 3 years that I have used the two bodies I bought in January 2012 I was working in dim light and environmental contexts of all kinds, making the reportage to AD. Neither 5DII has never missed a beat even under water, frost or 45 degrees to the shade. The sensor of this machine still remains in 2016, in my opinion, one of the best ever seen on the market. Due to the modest Digimarc 4 produces very good quality of the sensor file, if not amazing when shooting in JPEG. The video codec is a H.264 emblazoned 4: 2: 0 50 mbit which is fine if you do not use extreme cg. Magic lantern I shot commercials and corporate in rawvideo and the quality is amazing, I would say the film industry. Pity not to have the 50p and the ability to record to external devices via HDMI. Autofocus almost non-existent, if you hope to make us sports photos, even using optical as the 70/200 f2.8 or f2.8 300. I'm not a fan of the ISO low, but this machine is suffering a bit already by ISO 3200, although? accettabilis. In the video, if you want quality, you can not exceed ISO 1250. Council to use it with multiple ISO 160, being the actual ISO noise decreases slightly. Obviously ? a 2008 project, and when you consider the 8 years of age remains a great car, a reference of the digital age. L I adored and even, sometimes, I miss him despite my Sony A7 kit and A7S with Zeiss optics.

Cons: Only one memory slot and only CF. No silent snap.

Opinion: Still a great machine, reliable, robust. It has the charm of things well fatte.rnL 'on the central AF point is reliable and fast, side seem less sensitive, but I can use them for portraits if there is light. The points are not enough for today's standards and the management in AF-C is definitely not on the level of noise and MKIII.rnBanding become bothersome only when retrieving different stop exposure in dark areas of 'image. rn ------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ---------------- rnEdit: recently rnPassato to 6D, i must add that the 5DMKII files in comparison seemed to have a higher microcontrast. It 's just an impression for the moment, but 6D, although less noisy (beautiful at high ISO) and more responsive, it seemed the least return files "vivid." Boh, is suggestion? Pros: build quality, ergonomics, price of used, joystick, iso held

Cons: AF perform poorly, slow burst, banding, and not only CF slot SD

Opinion: Great nice car. In his hand is a tank, all the buttons are in the right place. I believe the joystick essential for you to select, albeit few, the focus points. The build quality of the Canon 5D series is well known. Despite her age makes her feel is a quality FF. Iso excellent seal up to 3200, but you can reach well into 6400 with a little 'postproduction. Obviously from this point of view is not up to current 6D and 5D MKIII, but he always despite his age. Very advantageous price of used, also in view of the output mark iv. AF not the best but if you stick to the central point does not miss a beat. In any case, this limitation does not make it suitable for sports photography (and not even not designed for this). Number of megapixels in my perfect view. Produces files neither too heavy nor too faint. Excellent opportunity to get to time to 1/8000, which in the current 6D is not possibile. Only real problem I found to what I have to do is a very strong banding in low light shooting in RAW, which is accentuated much in sRAW forcing me to throw away a lot of nice pictures. Although I have the latest version of the firmware the problem seems to be solved. The problem does not occur in JPG, shame that no shots ever in this format. In conclusion, if you want to take the plunge and enter the world of FF without spending a fortune this is the body, especially for portraits, landscapes and night. If you do birds or sports photos stay away.

Cons: Rumere high ISO, AF is not suitable for sports photos

Good pictures up to ISO 3200 (used to 6D of course in terms of iso known the difference). For the rest, an indestructible camera, always efficient and versatile, with a great image quality, with an absolutely decorous ISO up to 3200, able to offer still many satisfactions to the amateur photographer, at a price of the used now Ridiculous (you buy at the same digits as the 5d old). Pros: emotions. quality / price ratio. solidity. viewfinder brightness. shutter sound. huge lcd

Cons: with only one slot CF card, wi-fi, no charge counters, remote shooting, only 30sec Bulb

Opinion: Life is made of emotions, I did not think to try many with a material object. Thanks to the ISO and the bright viewfinder and detailed that helps, helps molto.rnFinisco by saying that I tried the direct competitors of the SLR in question: Canon 6D and Fujifilm x-t1. The first I ruled after taking it in hand: too plastic, too little strong (in comparison to the 5D II course). The second I always discarded after taking it in hand: zero emotions, too small, I could not hold it even though it must be said that it has a viewfinder really good. The Canon 7D but I had a FF for the types of photos that I prefer is higher. The Nikon I have not even considered because I do not like, I tried various aps-c and I must say that I find interesting color rendering only for pictures but not for the photos I do for the greater or the paesaggi.rnPosso dirand that these impressions are shared by a couple of my friends, so I assume these criticisms are probably / perhaps condivisibili.rnCome downside I have to say that Canon should modernize: I understand that it's all marketing, you have to earn as much as possible and then not put the wifi so you buy separately, but come on, a wifi card occupies some mm and even when output could enter with other interesting things as remote shooting, adding the pay tone, programming the bulb, the programming of ' alternating shots to the sky stacker, etc ... rnNon could however conclude the review with the various negative notes then award the 5d still relevant to the ergonomic handle, really good: I tried to take in hand the various 1D and 1DS that they are significantly larger and may give the impression of being more robust but I have to say that the 5D MK II is no less: is more compact but the strength and the taking of both hands makes my SLRottimale.rnConcludo saying that I will change only if I have financial problems, otherwise I think it will become THE my SLR.

Pros: is a FF, weight, strong, excellent ergonomics of 'handle

Cons: one CF card slot, and barrage AF lenses

Opinion: A great machine, sturdy and large, ergonomic grip good for those with large hands, of weight, for those who need to know that speed is slow in burst and AF, then good for landscapes and portraits, with only one slot CF card (it would have spoiled also SD). Excellent file and low noise up to ISO 6400

Pros: full frame, the price of second today, image quality

Cons: autofocus, a few points of focus, power button shortly ergometer (compared to Nikon)

Opinion: I bought it a few months ago (obviously used but with 60,000 shots and in good condition) and I love it. I had, for about three years, a Nikon D7000. I wanted to switch to a full frame (used, due to limited budget) and I was torn between the D700 and the Mk II. I am neither a Nikonist nor Canonist. I like to take pictures. The cheering stadium let him do to others. Both models have advantages and disadvantages that make them virtually at the same level. Maybe slightly above the D700. Maybe. However, the D700 used I evaluated were quite experienced. I took the first of two that happened to me in good condition. And I am very satisfied. The autofocus actually not that great in situations where you need quick, points of focus are few and the middle one is the only really reliable. But the images that gives never disappoint. The level is from professional machine. Now, then, with the announcement of the Mk IV, I suppose that the price of this use will become even more interestingnte. Assuming that we can find one in good condition !!! :);)

Pros: Machine body solid, bright viewfinder, quality files, kept at high ISO

Cons: Viewfinder is not 100%, slow operating

Opinion: Shortly what to say, it really is a great car! Even today in 2015 remains a reflex that can compete with the latest and most advanced bodies Nikon and Canon. As mentioned in the body and very solid pro, a brick, I also used in environmental conditions a little 'bad (low temperatures, heavy snowfall) but never had any problems, really well built. The quality of the file is not much to say, the resolution is really high. Despite 21mpx also held at high ISO is really great, it is easily usable at 800-1600 ISO, going up to 3200 is still fully usable and in low light conditions (eg inside a church) will surprise even to 6400 . As for the viewfinder, is the viewfinder of a full frame !! You know they are big and bright, the only flaw is the fact that it is not 100%. The only problem with this machine remains operational even if the slowness with a little 'patience you can get good results even in fields Where' & egrave; required operating speed, the burst, however, remains slow and the same goes for auto-focus, even with high-quality optics and bright. The central point of focus is very accurate, especially with the active expansion, as regards the other points can not be said the same; in the absence of contrast or light become almost unusable. It 'a reflex in the landscape or portraits will give you great satisfaction and knowing you can get even better results in great action photography.

Pros: Machine body thickness, good files, now, in 2014, the acquisition cost

Cons: Autofocus but for me it is not such a serious problem

Opinion: I have this car for a couple of months, I use it mainly in the studio where the autofocus a bit 'slow is not a problem so important. The burst speed I have no problem because I hardly sports photos and nudist. I noticed that the AF occasionally, in low light, hard to keep up with the subject. For the rest of the files that are churning out great. Check in from a 5DC and a 50D and this is really at the top. Cons: The cons too, but these I add a tropicalization absolutely ineffective.

Opinion: A word of advice ... stay well away from salt water, the weather sealing of the camera body is totally inadequate, just a small spray of seawater and your investment goes into fumo.Con corrosion from salt water, Canon does not even try to repair it simply tells you that it is not merely recuperabile.A me to give me a good discount on the purchase of a new body to saltwater macchina.Non approach without additional protection.

Cons: slow burst

Opinion: I have this machine for about 2 years. It 'a great machine, robust and quality. The use of studio and outdoor results are always surprising. I also installed the battery grip, as the autonomy provided by the battery is not at the levels of 60d. Pros: image quality and cleaning, construction, ergonomics, performance at high ISO, dynamic range, RAW

Cons: None to my esignze

Opinion: I bought this camera to replace the earlier 550D and a 40D, the leap in quality with the full frame is nothing short of fantastic, finally a viewfinder similar to old film cameras big and bright that returns the right perspective to composizione.rnL ' AF is his weak point, but only if you have to do sports photos, the rest is fine, I have to say that I always use the center point only to have full control of the fire and I must say that so far I can not complain I 99% of the photo in focus as I want, and the machine does not sbaglia.rnMi really like the performance at high iso and three-dimensionality that returns the FF sensor, I think I have guessed the choice, but then again the only thing on which I think there is a considerable advantage from the gearbox to the AF and 6d, the rest are only improvements that you can safely give up in accordance with your taste.

Pros: Sensor, FF, magnesium alloy body, Ergonomics, Controls, Display, Dynamic Range, RAW File, robustness, yield impeccable high ISO, Videos

Cons: Autofocus, Burst (for sports use) Lack dual slot, Tropicalization compared to the latest releases (1Dx, Mk3)

Opinion: My first Full Frame: really a fantastic car. rnCorpo very solid and well built, his hands returns a really good feeling, heavy but not bulky, good feeling with the handle: an ergonomic design. From the first shot I noticed that the sensor of this camera is great: with 21 Mpx you can do all the clippings as possible and the image definition is sublime; 50 ISO is incredible, fully usable up to 3200! The RAW that generates are perfectly workable in PP, the dynamic range of the sensor is very wide. Great for reportage, portraits, landscapes, still life, architecture, fashion, glamor. I tried to shoot in low light and has never missed a shot! RnL'Autofocus I do not think so scarce as many point out, the focus is accurate and fast, the lateral ones still usable: Obviously I think it is a bit 'slow to birds and sports use, as well as the burst; personally however not practical these genera, for which to date do not feel the need for a 7d Or elseand a 1d3. Cons: Autofocus inferior to the other components, to improve the position of the ISO button, shooting mode silent nonexistent shadows little recoverable in high-contrast scenes, viewfinder smaller than some competitors.

Opinion: An excellent working tool that will never betray you. The autofocus is not bad considering the low number of points. The files that need to leave a little post production for reportage. The only flaw, in my opinion common to many canon (the ones I tested) is the complexion. By now we have become accustomed to the complexion canon, but it pales when compared to that of sensors with a dynamic range and tonal range. Opinion: After several camera bodies is that I have now (I spent all classes canon). I had a series 1 and I admit that the body return to a little boy was heard but not too much. Because if I lost in AF, burst strength, and I've got gained in image quality, ISO, and Mpixel. I noticed a lot of PRO and that makes me very happy purchase and use, but if I find cons say - Series 1 and 7D have a better grip. - Lacks the 720p option and the choice of fps in the video. - Burst slow but justified (this is a given sector body). - AF very good only on the central point (that is what I wrote above). - No double slot The rest is up for grabs!

Pros: quality and resolution of the sensor. body robust and reliable, despite some flaw in tropicalization. usable up to ISO 6400, especially if you use RAW.

Cons: sensitive to the ingress of dust, especially in the mirror box and viewfinder. autofocus older generation. the setting of some of the settings is cumbersome.

Opinion: in 2008 it was made science fiction. when I bought it, in 2009, the qualitative leap compared to the nikon d200 I had, was exciting. still is valuable appliance which, apart from some operational aspects 'dated', is able to produce files of superb quality and excellent performance at high iso (with a minimum of attention to management in post-production and using the RAW). proof of this is the finding that the mark III, except for some major upgrades while ergonomically-construction-operation (autofocus, shutter speed sequentially, better sealing, correction of aberrations and distortions in the room) adopts a sensor that is not substantially higher (despite the ballyhooed 102400 iso made unusable for 'obscenity qualitative'). if you are photographing sports events and does not require a shutter speed in sequence 6ftg/sec, if you do not need to follow a subject fast autofocus, keeping in mind that the autofocus mkII, as Spartan, the precise 4ftg/sec and reliable and that there are many, you should still buy two for the price of a 5DMKII 5dmkIII ...

Pros: Image quality at high ISO, three-dimensional pictures, files lavorabilissimi with fantastic detail!

Cons: Raffia slow, lack of double slot 2 Cf

Opinion: What can I say. Machine to buy is never sell, for those who make low-light portraits, reportage is a fantastic machine. Light and robust at the same time. The files that have that effect produces three-dimensional and the smoothness that only a FF sensor can give. The yield at high iso is excellent, I use it to take pictures indoors in low light and I have to tell you that I have given to the journal in which public photos up to ISO 3500 with no noise and above all without any complaints from the graph of the magazine. The only flaw burst and the lack of dual CF slot. Conclusions. For those who do not have the money to buy a 5d mark III and requires a FF sensor with characteristics that an APSC will never give, the 5D is a great fulfill purchase. Pros: FF sensor, high ISO quality, solid construction

Cons: Gust slow autofocus can be used in single central point

Opinion: Bought recently to complement the 7d, I was immediately impressed by the quality of the file that produces high ISO (even at 6400 iso files are lavorabilissimi). The burst is slow, but I'm not interested in that for action photos of the use 7d. The autofocus thought it was much worse (read my predecessor), it is true that the only use is central, but coupled with the 70-200 IS II found it fast and accurate. For those who can not afford the mk3 and want to switch to FF, it is a purchase that I recommend to do.

Pros: excellent resolution, color and perfect colors, engraved file and processed with ease, very good performance at high ISO, robustness and ergonomics, light weight, simple and intuitive menus

Cons: autofocus older generation, burst slow, poor sealing, lack dual memory card slots

Opinion: this is my first FF and I have to say that I am thrilled and satisfied, the image files are pulled out from this machine are really good at the retail level, color and dynamic range, up to 800 ISO the noise is practically absent, 1600 fully used, at 3200 you get to see a little 'chroma noise but the file remains everyway engraved and allows large print and large format without problems. Working RAW files from 5D2 is a pleasure. Coming from Nikon (before I had a D90) I immediately felt both as ergonomics as configuration and menu that I found simple and intuitive, while having everything you need. LCD screen bright and clear, excellent live view, has micro AF and manual focus in live view on enlarged details of 10x. Not having virtually never used the video function does not do any evaluation. The big drawback to this machine is sucuramente AF, only 9 points in which only the central cross, the only fully usable. I am not satisfied tropicalization, as reported in other reviews the machine is often dirty, viewfinder, mirror, pentaprism and especially sensor. For use with optical quality when used with optical mediocre the 5D2 highlights all limits.

Opinion: I use it now for 1 year and a half before he had the 5D mk1, the file created is far superior to its predecessor, the AF has remained almost the same, I am forced to always use the central point of focus, with targets used bright, with an excellent three-dimensionality to the scene. I use it as main machine, do not use hardly ever canvases, and for most of the photographs I mount 17-40 f4 L, 50 1.4 and 85 1.8, this triad, the contrast is excellent even at room temperature

Opinion: I own my first FF 5D mkII after 3 aps-c for 10 days, finally for individual display to my 7d flaw that the noise of high ISO, but that has nothing to do with technology that incorporates. It could have been improved af, but considering it is an old car benoltre 4 years, you could not get any better. I have not tested yet the full power, even for the little I have done seems rather let me down, but a survey online, has a different perspective riguasdo especially the pdf that if not balanced feel the difference between a aps-c and a ff, cmq is the fact that it is a matter of taste and adaptation to the maneuverability to get the best. Pros: RAW engraved, clean and workable, excellent color rendering, high ISO exploitable and rich in detail, high resolution, live view, video, value for money.

Cons: AF reliable and responsive in single central point; features improvement; Hatch CF plasticky, lack of pop-up flash, slow burst.

Opinion: I use it for a few months and am very happy: the machine produces excellent files and almost definitive in the sense that often do not need to work in PP and in any case, if the shot is not perfect, it is at the stage of development with great ease. Beautiful color rendering, excellent detail thanks to 21 MP giving benefits without taking anything away; very good performance at high ISO (usable also have the 6400: exposing third-two thirds to the right file remains workable and made even satisfactory). Great live-view, the camera also lets you record video of the beautiful (though to get good results you have to have expertise and capacity). Currently I would say value for money makes it particularly interesting. The cons: the AF is the old generation and the only central point (in AI Servo assisted by a further six points ghost) a point reliable and most accurate (I was not wrong even large openings). Among other things, it is also a reactive point: often burst into a whole does not miss a single messaa fire. The problem is that the lateral points, besides being too central, are useful only in conditions of optimum light. Another element is the "castration" of software by Canon mother, castration which could alleviate simply via firmware, for example currently you can only compensate the exposure by two stops, the automatic ISO if you are working in "M" function only at ISO 400 and so on. Who is the 7D you realize you have made, from this point of view, quite a downgrade. The body is well built, but the lid of the CF is light and not up to the rest. The blast, limited to only 3.9 frames per second, it is not a strong point. Finally I find really stupid the absence of the pop-up flash, that in certain situations, however small, can be helpful. In conclusion, a machine that makes the image quality of its strength and which sees the landscape and portraiture in his field of choice.

Pros: Raw simply wonderful, gorgeous colors, sound reasonable, even at the highest ISO. Body well balanced, solid and durable, has a good feeling in his hands at the same time it is not heavy, very versatile and highly customizable.

Cons: The AF is not at the level of the rest. The only point is acceptable, the outermost are unreliable and too concentrated in the center of the frame.

Opinion: I use it for 8 months and I can not speak well. It 'an exceptional car, and very versatile: I use it mainly for landscapes, but I also not the macro. The files it produces are a pleasure to work with because they allow really tons of changes without losing a bit of quality. Given the genres that I can bypass most of the time the only major flaw of which suffers 5d2, or autofocus, really unsuitable for a reflex of this level (sometimes regret that the 400D, having said all), and also the burst may not be up in certain situations, but honestly if I did I orienterei birds or sports on other bodies (7D or 1D). Small brackets for video: a feature that is rarely exploited (rather say almost never) but the movies are undoubtedly produces the highest quality.

Pros: FF format sensor, imaging performance, low noise, high resolution

Cons: The dirt that enters everywhere, autofocus old

Opinion: For me it is an exceptional car, you have their limits as the viewfinder and AF-standing dirt that reigns supreme in every part inside (but even that does not bother the photos I do not care that much). The burst is not the best or not as that of the 7D but the use to which it was thought, that portraits and landscapes where the burst and AF tracking are not fundamental, can not find it bad. I really like the live view essential but ordered (perhaps too simple for a professional but great for an amateur). The yield at high ISO is very good when compared with the 7D and the color rendition is superb and tones than the 7D has a little colder I think to make more faithful color complexion. The two camera bodies (7D and 5D Mark II) shall not surmount but complement, the first for fast action shots bursts, using not only optical but also EF EF-s and does not require external Speedlite (it has an embedded ) the 5D Mark II more professional looking highlights the limit of the optics but also knows how to enhance the quality, great for shooting at high ISO and all those circumstances where the APS-C format is the limit. Consigliatissima attention but dirt is awesome.

Cons: autofocus disappointing

Opinion: I changed my old with the new 5D Mark2 for almost two years and I must say that I have left some regret, I consider 'autofocus pretty ridiculous, especially in low-light conditions, the type of machine, the 85mm f 1, 2 and 'virtually useless in low light conditions, removing the central point the others are practically inutili.Certo sensitivity' sensor and 'good as the resolution and noise enough contenuto.Ho took the first Ds for about a year and report of shots checks performed with the 5D compared to 1Ds and 'approximately 1 to 150 in favor of the pro 1Ds.Unico for and' and that 'pretty quiet during shooting compared to the 1Ds (see review 1Ds.) Pros: Excellent resolution. Excellent color rendering. Noise much content and excellent engraving of the sensor even at high ISO.

Cons: Autofocus older generation. Gust ridiculous. It is dirty as hell: enter dust and fluff everywhere, sensor, focusing screen but also between ocular and pentaprism.

Opinion: I use this machine for two years and I am very well: I use it with great satisfaction for landscapes and macro. You have to make compromises when photographing wildlife, birds or sports ... for this purpose at his side even if the 7D is a machine that I'm not very satisfied (see my review on 7D). The noise is extremely low: the use of normally up to ISO 3200 but you can also push to ISO 6400 when needed. Naturally he needs a good program for the reduction of noise with which it is possible to obtain clear images thanks to one of the features that I like this machine: up to ISO 3200 engraving of the sensor is great and even if you drop " grain "details remain clear and non-kneaded (unlike 7D). I speak as a press photographer for exhibitions in sizes from 30x45 least the poster.
