The point that macrography somehow gets involved in documenting nature, which is not addressed in theoretical issues, or that this field of photography depends on tools, does not decrease its importance in comparison with other fields of photography.
The aesthetic and scientific values of macrography, as well as the patient attempt of a macrographer, are unique in directing the attention of human beings to the details of the wonders of nature, the same as to other fields of photography.
The art must be evaluated according to its own features. The criterion of this style of photography is the dominance of form. Now, if this form does not conform with the concept, and is repetitive and dull to some people, it is due to the style adopted, in which the use of the characteristics of other styles is irrelevant and out of question. A macrographer, like any other photographer, is free to apply any tool he deems necessary for his records. Here, having or lacking the tool is not the question and is not regarded an advantage or disadvantage for the photographer. The value of any art lies totally in all the impression it leaves on the minds of those who watch it.
