sigma_18-35_f1-8Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art

Pros: Brightness, sharpness, quality of materials.

Cons: AF, not stabilized, not weather sealed, (price.. But the quality you pay for).

Opinion: I have this lens for several months now and I waited to give an opinion with the arrival of my Neo purchase Canon EOS 80d because with the previous body (800d always Canon) I did not feel to give a reasoned opinion. All in all it is a beautiful optics, the aperture of the diaphragm to 1.8 is a gem not of little account... But the AF at full aperture... Help!! In Live View is accurate in almost perfect but in the optical viewfinder (? I'm a newcomer with the technicalities, I hope I'm not wrong terminology) is vomiting! I bought on Amazon the dock but it is practically Arabic for me and I should intercept breast able to make the appropriate adjustments to fix the problem.. In conclusion I vote 8.5, I am glad to have bought it and I hope in the future to solve the Neo Dell'af but I feel to advise against those who have little machine bodies.. The quality leap I've seen from 800d to 80d has been disarming.

canon_efs_17-55_f2-8Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM

Pros: sharpness, brightness, weight.

Cons: Maybe the fact that they don't update it...

Opinion: The usual premise that I would like to do is that I am not sufficiently experienced to make judgments but I feel I am exposing my impressions. I have owned for several months the 17-70 Sigma Contemporary but did not fully satisfy my needs of photography in rooms with little light and the MAF (like any Sigma that respects alas) sometimes did a little ' the cabbage that seemed to him. So, again, thanks to this mythical site (you would love Juza:D) I am documented on similar alternatives and I found this 17-55 Canon tempting. I trusted in the purchase of a used specimen Trovatao to Rce of Padua, which for now, after several shots, is giving me satisfaction! The only flaw of mine is that I find it "soft" in the sense that the zoom drops even with the force of gravity but otherwise I feel strongly to recommend it for those looking for something in the house Canon of this genre!

canon_70-200_f2-8is_iiiCanon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS III USM

Pros: Quality, robustness, houses supplied.

Cons: Maybe the price? Maybe the weight?

Opinion: I state that being a beginner in the photographic field I can not call myself expert to be able to evaluate a lens (so please take with the pliers my statements and in case of explaining where I am erro in my review hot), however I got to try it thanks To my friend as well as colleague Pierghitti. Having supplied a 70-200 f4 L of 99 ' the differences are abygenal. The first thing that strikes you is the feeling of robustness mixed with the image quality that you can get with the PP and mounting it on my humble 800d I managed to take a picture to the incredibly beautiful full moon! The actual weighs a lot more than the old 70-200 but the 2.8 and the double stabilization affect in this regard. I hope to have the chance to "play" again and bring back more impressions on this intriguing Japanese gem!

canon_70-200_f4Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM

Pros: Perceived quality, sharpness, price, weight.

Cons: I'm not judging a 20-year target.

Opinion: A few months from a friend who used it as a knits for his little interest in photography, I approached with curiosity to do "experiments" with this senior telephoto L Series. The specimen I owned was purchased in 2001 and has obvious signs of wear (probably of the sun because there are coloured rubberized parts) on the tires of the rings but I was pleasantly displaced by the quality of the shots that I managed to Get with my little 800d. Light and beautiful to see, always makes good figure! Probably if my finances allow me to evaluate to buy a copy of my thinking about the stabilized version and a bit ' newer!

tamron_sp35_f1-8vcTamron SP 35mm f/1.8 Di VC USD

Pros: Quality, performance, price

Cons: Opening F Max 1.8

Opinion: Purchased flipping through the useful Juzaphoto tips for now has never disappointed! I have never had the way to test the Sigma and Canon competitors but I must say that this 35mm does its duty very well! The only flaw, in my opinion, is the diaphragm that does not get to 1.4 but at the actual I think it is fine even the opening to 1.8.

canon_800dCanon 800D

Pros: Handling, battery, excellent entry-level

Cons: Maybe kept enough ISO?

Opinion: Bought at the launch for Curiosity as the first official SLR to have at home recommended by Rickydellipaoli (I think a good YouTuber), I was literally falling in love with photography! I had then to compare it with the 6d II of a friend of mine who bought months after my 800d and I have to say that, clearly, we are two different worlds.. But the 45 cross points of focus at par never disappoint! Purchased the Sigma 17-70 and scheduled the Sigma 18-35, I'm fond of the type APS-C and then having the good fortune to have a friend and colleague of photographic picnic with FF, I think that my future choice will still fall on an APS-C reflex (maybe the Chat 7d III?) While I'll watch how you improve the ML. We hope in good for the future!

canon_efs18-55_f4_5-6stmCanon EF-S 18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM

Pros: Price

Cons: F4

Opinion: Arrived last year with the 800d I realized that to do photographic experiments I needed something more lending.. So I took courage and I made the purchase of the Sigma 17-70mm with which for now I am very well. I recommend this 18-55 for those who take an APS-C Canon entry level and want to take a few shots to get passionate about photography!

sigma_17-70macro_os2Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 DC OS HSM Macro C

Pros: Construction, sharpening, hiking, Macro

Cons: Stabilizer a little noisy (?)

Opinion: I state that I am not an expert in photography but felt the need for a "something more" for my Canon EOS 800d. So I decided to retired the discreet 18-55 provided in the kit and buy this Sigma. The quality jump justified the price paid! Only flaw, in my opinion, the stabilizer that sometimes makes move the lenses in the viewfinder and makes a slight noise (maybe a little "defective" my copy purchased on Amazon?) but overall, in three months of ownership, I find myself very happy!
