Even though this passion was growing stronger, during the following years I had to fulfill my educational commitments, thereafter I got employed in a different area as I got the chance to move abroad improving my English knowledge.
Thanks to several trips to the United States between 2007 and 2010, I once again got closer to photography since I started following an American photographer based in Los Angeles, who helped me to perfect my abilities. The result of this great experience is expressed into a diary of images taken between the West and East American Coast and some of those photos were chosen for two contests later on.
In 2008 I tried out my photography taste entering the "National Photography Contest" held by the town of Caorso (Italy), which permitted me to become part of a collective exhibition. Nevertheless as I didn't find myself fully satisfied with my personal skills, I decided to allow myself more time to improve, walking through a path of practice organizing and planning shootings with improvised models, taking care of everything from styling, make-up, set and lights.
Months later I was asked to join a project in realizing a micro movie. I accepted to work as photographer director for the Italian-American Art Director and Filmmaker Alessandro Cornia, until I decided to complete my training through a basic course promoted by "Fondazione FORMA" (an Italian photography establishment).
While working on my photographic growth, a new venture promoted by Vogue Italia website allowed me to submit some of my artistic pictures in order to be evaluated by Alessia Glaviano, Photo Editor for Vogue Italia e L'Uomo Vogue magazines. Thanks to this incredible opportunity I not only have been approved to have my portfolio visible through their website, but I was also selected to participate in 2011 at their contest "Vogue ? Watch & Click". Amongst thousand entries, I was selected as one of the contest winners together with other 99 talented photographers, having the honor to see my work exhibited at Palazzo Morando gallery during the Milan Fashion Night Out, together with Vogue Italia Editor in Chief Franca Sozzani opening the event.
In the following years, due to the economic crisis, I was forced to take a break from my passion until I decided in 2013 to completely commit myself to photography. Since then I work as a photographer assistant for the British media agency Adrenal Media (www.adrenalmedia.com), who in 2014 has become the official media agency for the motorsport events of FIAWEC and ELMS championships. This allows me to travel abroad while visiting some of the most important race circuits in the world. To date I have had the opportunity to express my ability in the reportage photography during all races, including the 24 hours legendary Le Mans race.
