La sala tra le più riservate e intime della Reggia seicentesca: la Camera degli Animali Quadrupedi e l'alcova dei Cacciatori. Nella magnificenza della Residenza barocca, nelle sale seicentesche delle tenaglia castellamontiana, si possono visitare per la prima volta completamente riallestiti gli affascinanti Appartamenti della Duchessa Maria Giovanna Battista di Savoia Nemours, la seconda Madama Reale, moglie del Duca Carlo Emanuele II alla quale, con i simboli della dea Diana, è dedicata tutta la Reggia. Le sale, in precedenza occupate dalle installazioni multimediali di Peter Greenaway, sono restituite al pubblico godimento nella visione complessiva degli stucchi di Bernardino Quadri e degli affreschi dei pittori Recchi. Il nuovo allestimento mira a recuperare la funzione originaria degli ambienti attraverso un allestimento che propone nelle anticamere, camera, alcova e gabinetto di toeletta arredi e dipinti consoni ed evocativi di quelli originali citati negli inventari.
