It is very beautiful l 'idea of ??"blur" the fireflies light to get the shot, but it annoys me to focus only on the trunk with the sharp cut off between fire and vertical fire ....

thanks guys :-)

@ Andry: the idea of ??a photo without vanishing completely in sharp focus teased me nothing but the result would have been too "pushed" :-) I only other lawn with pretty much just the lights and a hint of grass (blurred) but I am not convinced the trunk anyway ;-) I have not worked in the sense that I did not fancy the usual fixes that I post for contrast and sharpness is obviously on fire but it is not incisissimo :-)

A beautiful dream ..... if only compliments for the idea!
I like the contrast between the wood fire and the fireflies evanescent, for this perhaps rifilerei the lower part with the land blurred

To me it seems just beautiful:-P
I appreciate that you've told us your project, but I like to think that, as highlights, you've come far beyond getting a result in which the magic of nature has taken over, allowing you to create an image out of the ordinary.

I like how you worked the photo in the post and the result is definitely fascinating, I like a little 'less the location you chose, the background is a bit' messy and inelegant branches that take a little 'magic to the scene.

The effect of the fireflies between fuzzy and rough is spectacular, congratulations!

:-) Thanks again to all the scene is true is very "intricate" but is the result of several tests ;-) I have however in other developing countries, the fact is that shots are pretty complex to develop since the procedure is longish and I'm as slow as a sloth:-D

Very nice! But the fireflies actually have the yellow light? Wow! Congratulations Dexter, nice idea and even better realization.

thanks :-) Bal post the photo is a little heated (especially because being almost dark around the undergrowth was tending to bluish) and RAW is light yellow-green, but the difference is minimal :-)
