Congratulations indeed Mark, despite the HDR technique, the result is very natural, bravo! ;-)

Thanks for the ride and Ste comment!
Yes, personally I love the HDR as a technique but without going too extreme on the results: I have to say that I found the presets for Photomatix Pro give me a big hand.
On this photo I've tinkered over and over again: How well do you know the lighting that's in the crypt of the cathedral is really annoying, those with red and yellow lights shoot ... let's say that this result satisfies me fairly.
See you soon
Mark

ps: sorry if this week is skipped the coffee, but I'm home with the flu (but at least I managed to work a bit 'of photos:-D)

But I figured, when you want to know where to find me ;-)

PS:
say that this result satisfies me discreetly
You should also be satisfied that more discreetly, is very very good! :-P

nice shot
nice end result with excellent symmetry ;-) -
I would give you two suggestions:
in multiple shooting for HDR never use apertures - always use diaphragms average> type f.8-F.10 - f11.
gains sharpness and depth 'of field - so're with tripod, only increase the exposure time.
The converging lines of the columns can be corrected-I downloaded a free program ShiftN, and 'in English but very simple and intuitive
expect strong competition:-D ;-)

Hello Frank, thanks for the changeover and advice (I was sure to whet your curiosity with a church hdr:-D).
Regarding the opening you're absolutely right: a f.8 would surely have been more appropriate, but when I go to places like that, I always like the feeling of doing disturbing picture, then quickly made me overlook this important detail :-|
ShiftN unfortunately it is only for Windows and I use Mac, but even with the correction of Lightroom could rearrange a bit 'converging lines of the columns, I'll definitely give it a try to see if this will not affect the presence of some interesting element of the picture.
Thanks again and good day!
Mark
