, 1/640 f/8.0, ISO 100, hand held. Etosha National Park, Namibia. Specie: Loxodonta africana

Ho provato a convertire in bianco e nero questa foto scattata all'Etosha. Ho esagerato con il contrasto? Avevo paura che l'immagine risultasse troppo piatta. Inoltre mi sono accorta che spesso faccio un terribile errore: taglio le zampe agli animali...

No conversion I find good and I think it suits well to the photo bn. Excellent presence of zebras in the background. Indeed if I had lowered the shot .......

Thanks for your comment :-) precise Alessandro
For the legs ... I do not know what to do: I do take the emotion and do not have the nerve to compose the shot well :-(

it is true the legs are cut off, but it is a mistake that with small adjustments no longer do, however the conversion to b / w fits perfectly ......
hello hello ;-)

And the two slapped in a good way give them to you, too:-D:-D cut of the legs in this case, it is not a portrait, it is definitely a mistake, but that I think is of secondary importance compared to the cut of the proboscis, this is serious! Perhaps you could opt for a vertical cut. The zebras in the background I would have seen more blurry but maybe they were too close together. I would say, and this triggered the applause that the BW is ok.

Paul thank you so much for the honesty of the comment: your corrections always manage to open my eyes! In fact, now more look at this picture I find more errors: there is also the horizon wrong! But unfortunately this is my trademark ...
You'll have to give me lessons on the field :-)

I draw inspiration from this shot - I really like a lot (too bad for the legs chopped) - to compliment for the whole series on Namibia ... very beautiful!
