Emotionally involving this face that emerges from the shadows. For personal taste I would have avoided a yield so effective skin texture of the face and lips. Hello

Thanks Fladane
In this case, contrary to the old photo, I did not sottoliearla so much that I have not even given a minimum mashed sharpen .........
It 'an effect that I have noticed in more than one photo and it is quite natural, maybe it's the sunburned skin.

Definitely yes, but due to the living conditions of the children even have the silky skin of their European peers. But, being in the end even she was a child, I would try to minimize the effect. Also because you already look says it all ...

Beautiful Memy.
One question, have darkened the background in a lot of posts or the child was exposed so that the light only came on his face?

Hello Simon,
the background was already quite dark especially in comparison with the strong, hard light of noon, but the contrast was not as strong and clear as it appears now and at pp. I completed the work according to my taste.

It figured.
Among the last pictures you posted there are some very dark with the background, and in some cases totally black (both bw and color). It 'a kind of portraits that I really like, because it tends to accentuate the attention on the subject eliminating any reason for distraction and making it stand out even more. It goes without saying that this pp background fits well bn (in my opinion).
Well,
congratulations!
Simone

Thank you, faces and more generally the subject of a dark background are the ones that I like and some time, even during shooting, I prefer light situations that allow me to achieve this result.

the face is interesting, however, I must admit, that when such a large portion of the image has no information, I find it always a little closer to my strings.

I like Memy, your style is always easily distinguishable!
Do not drive me crazy in the eye shadow, I think you see too much of the recovery in PP, and the cut of the final light, almost a rembrant (45 ° -45 °) is not consistent with the reflection in the eye!
Obviously only points of comparison that I have to do to a very good one, otherwise what fun would it be?! ;-)!

Thanks Shiko, a nice summary of reflection ..

In fact I have a little 'too much with the recovery of the eyes, especially in the shade but are also' s idea that would serve to give more effective, for the rest of the light coming through the holes between the canes a kind of antechamber that leads to ' entrance of the hut and, in addition to like it, it does not seem inconsistent.
