, 1/2500 f/7.1, ISO 500, hand held. Specie: Falco eleonorae

Una delle rare volte che riesco ad agganciare l'af con uno sfondo non omogeneo. Vista la silhouette molto slanciata di questi favolosi rapaci, trovo sempre parecchie difficoltà :( Falco della Regina - maschio in fase chiara. Critiche e consigli sempre ben accetti ;)

"Docking" crazy .... congratulations ....

Fast ... but with these actors try to follow them with a kind of panning or shooting when you're standing still?! (If the subject is more or less the front of course the question does not make much sense ..)

Hello Fabio, the Eleonora's falcons follow unpredictable trajectories, so I follow them when I see them from far away, often by hand, often come right back to me ...... yes, I try to follow them by keeping them at the center of the frame with the point of maf in spots. Are so fast that I often find myself wrong with a tripod, I prefer to hand-held shooting for greater freedom of movement ;-)

Greetings and thanks for the ride and comment! :-)

Fantastic shot, given the difficulty of framing to focus on a subject so sleek and fast. Great Enrico add a burst of great value to your gallery already very remarkable. Congratulations to you soon!

Make afraid!: D Great!

But the maf spots: you mean the one and only central point? .. With all those that you have to cross on the 7d? (Ask for inexperience ;))

Thank you very much! you use the center spot in 70% of cases. When the subject is close to the point move in the composed, in these situations is the mode that gives me greater certainty. the cross-type points, with these non-homogeneous and low-contrast backgrounds do not engage, engage even the background ;) already with the sea is a mess ..... I use them and I rarely give good results only when I have the sky as background ..

Greetings
Enrico
