, Posa B f/2.8, ISO 5000, tripod.

Given the conditions I think you got away with bene.La the location is beautiful, the noise could have done more as cleaning or spray affected you?

Well, apart from that my aps-c does not certainly better at high iso ... however, the spray was really so, I came out completely wet. If you notice at the bottom is much worse than at the top, the fault of the spray. ;-)

Hello Max, I find the basic idea of ??good, though I find the composition a little choked also the overall yield if you allow me from my point of view is not the best, certainly the shooting conditions were not easy, so I have tried similar shots , but the noise is also really heavy the frame is full of streaks. The effect of noise reduction and laying b I think they also compromise the texture of the rock. My advice for shots like that are first of all to put together a little bit before total darkness, also saw the absence of the moon would have done at least two shots one in laying b to iso much lower for water and first floor, then one iso 4000 or 5000 for the stars.
I hope my advice will hand getting

Hello Max, the composition can not find it then too bad considering the difficulties of the dial in the dark, the real problem is the quality of the file that the term forgive me if I'm bad.
Between noise and problems that you yourself have listed, it came out half a mess in my opinion.
For this shot I would have considered at least a double exposure to try to break down at least a bit of noise on the first floor .., in these shots as the equipment makes a difference, then if we add splashes of water .. . let's say that you have not tried a condition of the easiest:-D
Bravo cm ² for trying! ;-)

Thank you all.
As the quality may not agree with all of you ... but believe me the greatest damage was done by the spray water in those conditions (ISO 5000, 2.8, I think from memory 1 minute) usually have much less noise.
But in the end it came out a kind of pictorial effect and to me then not altogether sorry. ;-)

Hello Max,
I honestly feel a little out from the pack ... I'll be honest as it is right chand either: I think this shot is below your standards. Probably you've used too well:-D:-D
All joking aside I agree with the observations of Fox, perhaps the best location to be studied. ;-)

looks like an impressionist painting, perhaps the spray has contributed, and in this case, so be it.
compliments for tenacity

Hello Max, I've never owned great cameras I still have a Canon AE-1 and snap photos with my iPhone or with Fuji 4500, the preamble to tell you that the photos are highly effective and super translucent fotoshoppate, but I appreciate more the composition (and here is neither to sell) the difficulty of the shot and the unrepeatable, the noise in my opinion makes this beautiful photo and emphasizes the spray of the waterfall, many photos are printed on canvas just to achieve this effect.
Compliments
Andrea

Hello Max, some for the D7000 ISO those are really a lot, and actually the grain there. I agree with you on the pictorial, you may like it or not, but I'd like to see it printed to evaluate how much you forgive. It might come off a great spampa!
