Nella mia corsa giornaliera con il mio fedele fido Ombra , mi imbatto a Licata in un chiosco abbandonato in prossimità del passaggio a livello , dove rifletteva Alexander seduto su una montagna di cose , entro con discrezione chiedendogli se avesse voglia di fare due parole : questo signore di 63 anni vive da venticinque anni a Licata , ha sempre lavorato nei campi dall' età di 6 anni nel suo paese nativo in Romania , oggi si trova in queste condizioni per via di una persona che lo ha derubato , diseredandolo dalla sua dimora , Alexander non è la prima volta che combatte per sopravvivere per la strada , quest'ultimo colpo lo ha compromesso , ma non gli ha tolto la forza ... lui sorridendo mi dice : lo sai perché sono ricco ? io rispondo come un bambino di no ! la sua risposta è stata la più profonda che io abbia mai sentito : non è il tempo che fa l'uomo , ma l'uomo che fa il tempo.
