It seems very dark on my head. For the rest beautiful detailed photo with a perfect and bright background. The roost is more like owls than sparrowhawks

Anubis in fact I was waiting for the owls. The darker garment is perhaps due to the Sardinian-Corsican subse species, perhaps....

:-o beautiful capture, pity for the owls :-)) to me the same thing happened in a fountain in the woods, I was waiting for zigoli and finches and he arrived, at a distance of no more than 3 meters, too bad everything to my right and I could not shoot in any way but for 20 sec I enjoyed it, a wonder
compliments
roby

Thanks Cesare and Roberto. Yes, more or less it happened to me too. Luck wanted me to be pointing the lens not too far from that roost, so even if slowly, I managed to frame it and take a few shots.
